We booked an appointment with Sky Maids after they did a really good job on a move out cleaning service. That was booked through Amazon. When we tried to give them repeat business directly they scheduled us for 12pm-2pm. At 8 am while we weren’t home they showed up. We spoke to a “Manager” who had an attitude with my wife she said they would do another house and come back. They contacted us and are on their way to do the work.

The team that comes every other week to my house does a great job.Everything is detailed and clean.The price is reasonable for the quality of work.

Been using them for almost 5 years. They come every 2 weeks and provide their 6 hours of service on our nearly 5000 sq ft house. If its the regular assigned crew, then sometimes they are done early (because they know the problem areas) - but if the house needs some extra attention or its a new crew (due to us needing to reschedule) neither crew has ever left the house until its clean. Even with the occasional mistakes or issues, they have always gone above and beyond to make sure we remain satisfied clients. Couldnt be happier with them.

Cleaners damaged ceramic cooktop in kitchen. The company sent its own investigator and took some pictures and refused to pay up, based on the pictures took by their own cleaning crew prior to the damage. The cleaning crew took pictures of my house without my knowledge and consent and used the before pictures to cover up for their own mistakes. Its the worst experience I have ever had. Now we are replacing the cooktop on our own cost due to the careless cleaning in my house. We will report to BBB and other consumer protection agencies.

Sky Maids has always provided excellent high quality service for both of my homes. I really heavily depend on them and the results so that my guests have only the cleanest of accommodations. I highly recommend them.

Sky maids have already cleaned my house for eight months and I am very happy with them. The cleaning ladies are so nice and hard workers. The office people is always nice and helpful too and the owner himself sometimes come to be sure that they are doing exactly what we agreed. Also, he has helped me with some tips about how to clean some common stains on walls and floors.The price is not the cheapest one but it worth every penny when I get home after work and smell my clean house. It is wonderful!I really recommend these guys.

Unprofessional staff, poor customer service and a waste of $129! Book with another company if you are looking for a professional maid service and an attentive home office. I initially booked a 4 hour, whole house cleaning through Amazons cleaning services which paired me up with Sky Maids. The first cleaning was excellent so I had high hopes for my second booking and planned to use them on regular basis going forward. Unfortunately, the second time was not a charm. The workers showed up 30 minutes late, one was chatting on her cell phone and another worker kept slamming the vacuum into my walls. Most disappointing was that they left abruptly without even touching my downstairs room which is very tiny and only requires vacuuming. I called the office to express my discontent with them leaving the job unfinished and Daniel was inconsiderate and absolutely rude to me. He said that the four hour service is divided among the number of ladies they send (in my case 1.3 hours since three arrived) and they leave when the time is up whether or not the house is clean. I later called Victoria whom I originally booked the service through and she assured me that she would call me back to arrange a time for the workers to come finish the job. I never heard back!

Find a different company with employees who have common sense. Today, the person representing this company by driving the silver sedan with the logos on it decided to stop in the middle of a busy highway (MD-182/Layhill Rd) just to let someone out of the car, instead of pulling into a parking lot. This caused the car behind me to almost rear-end me. If the employees act so dangerously and uncaring for other people on the road, Id hate to experience how they treat customers property. I was looking for a local cleaning service, but I will no longer be considering this company because I cannot trust them to safely handle my property.

Since then, weve worked directly with them to do a house cleaning every four weeks.The cleaning is really thorough, and leaves our house looking, feeling and smelling sparkling clean once the service is complete. The company is also great about texting to confirm the time the day ahead of the visit, and has been happy to work around our scheduling needs if weve needed to move a cleaning date.Overall, Ive found this to be a great value for the cost, and better than a previous cleaning service weve used in the past -- both less expensive and with a cleaner looking house! Id definitely recommend Skymaids to someone looking for a house cleaner in the DC area.

After several months of sometimes good sometimes not so good cleaning service today was the last straw.Our arrangement was to have a 3 person crew clean my townhouse every other Tuesday between 10am and 2pm so that when my daughter gets home from school they have finished. I also have a dog that gets crated on these cleaning days with the understanding that the cleaners release him when they leave.We have had several drinking glasses disappear over the last few months and have found the broken pieces in the trash. We have also come home to a few phone/device chargers that have been destroyed because they vacuumed over them.We notified the company of this but it wasn’t a deal breaker as accidents happen. However the sneakiness on the part of the cleaners to hide the evidence and not say anything left me with a bad taste. It’s also odd that they insist on the customer providing the trash bags and cleaning cloths ( they requested a full roll of heavy duty paper towels). Really? For a the price we pay they can’t cover a trash bag and some rags? It’s also ridiculous that they use paper towels which end up in landfills instead of reusable rags that can be washed.We complained a few times that a 2 person crew instead of 3 showed up and again we complained a few times of late service and the crew still being there after my daughter is home from school.I’m not sure what their break/lunch policy is but my house is not a cafeteria and their lunch break is not included on the time I’m paying for, so I found it outrageously disrespectful when, one day I was home when they arrived (2 person crew) carrying big gulps from 7-11 and bags of McDonald’s into my house.2 weeks ago I had a death in the family and called on the same day of service to cancel that cleaning. They were supposed to call me to reschedule but instead they showed up before 8am the next day. I had to ask them to leave. They never rescheduled.Today they were supposed to be at my house cleaning between 10am and 2pm. My daughter called me at 5pm upset that they were still in my house and that our dog had been crated all day.When the manager came out to visit initially he made several promises on services included etc that they just don’t live up to. I called today to cancel only to have a lady call back and beg for another chance- totally ignoring that we have called multiple times before with complaints that fall on deaf ears. It was embarrassing to have a grown up beg like that and it only reinforced my opinion that this is not a professional setup.

I would recommend Sky maids to anyone, they are very flexible and attend to my schedule changes everytime and whenever I want something specific cleaned, I call and they get it done.Everytime they clean my home, the quality is always the same..excellent.
