I needed some work done on my home from two different technicians for two different issues within the same week. Marvin is a great guy and knows his stuff. He had my old sump pump that was deep in a dirty old pump well all cleaned up with a new pump in no time. And Carlos was also a great guy! He diagnosed and addressed the issue with the AC unit leaking water onto the basement floor. Both gentlemen were timely and very professional. They never talked down to me or anyone in my family and were always happy to show us what they were doing and why they were doing it.

Our inside heat exchanger needed cleaning. They were the 3rd company that looked at it. The first 2 claimed we needed a new system. I didnt believe them. It was 4 years away from the beginning of when it might go. I have had 2 systems that had to be replaced and this wasnt close to how the other 2 behaved. It was cooling very well but the air flow wasnt as good as it needed to be if it was real hot. I thought it needed cleaning. Then if it couldnt keep up I would consider a new one.Ours only couldnt keep up when the weather was in the 90s it was fine in the high 80s. The tech was honest and said it needs cleaning and after it was done it was fine. I will likely report the first company who changed us $150 to lie to us. They were top rated too.

United Service Specialists repaired my HVAC unit. I called on Wednesday and the tech came out Thursday morning. They had to order a part but navigated the order and warranty so that my unit was repaired on Monday morning. Customer service was outstanding. Tech explained everything that he did. And I appreciated the texts letting me know when to expect the tech within the 4 hour service window. Highly recommend.

Felix Salgado arrived at our home on time with a willingness to listen as we explained our plumbing issues and need to have a new kitchen faucet and garbage disposal installed. Because a leak had been identified by our neighbor, we initially thought that pipes would have to be replaced but Felixs professional experience guided him to immediately assess what needed instead to be repaired to ensure proper installation of our new appliances. Felix was thorough, astute, and efficient. We appreciate his taking time to explain what needed to be corrected and why. And taking time before he left to ensure that we were completely satisfied. I highly recommend Felix. He demonstrated that he is indeed a master plumber.

I have had service by Marvin Chaney a couple of times, and find him a very professional and competent service specialist. He has done this job for 20 years so he knows what he is talking about and don’t have to guess what a problem might be. He has seen it all and know how to fix it in the best possible way. I will certainly ask for Marvin if/when we have another issue.

My air conditioning went out and United Service Specialists were able to put me on an emergency wait list. A tech was sent out within two days of my call. Matt was prompt and professional, and he provided advice on preventative maintenance.

Emailed me give time and tracking information. All three young men were nice.They informed me of all they had to do removed old unit cleaned up, showed and explained how to operate new unit. I highly recommend the company .

We had to use them a couple of times for our apartment building and they have been absolutely fantastic every time. From the moment you call to the moment they get the service done, they make sure that you understand every single aspect of their work and that all of your questions are answered. They are extremely quick to reply as well. They confirm your appointment via email, and when the technician is on the way, you are able to see where they actually are so that you don’t have to waste time wating for them to come. Speaking of the technicians, Carlos is a pleasure to work with, he throughly follows apartments regulations (i.e. 6 feet apart, sanatizing hands) and he makes sure that you understand what is wrong with the unit, what can be done to prevent the issue from happening again and what he will do to fix it. United Services has been of great help and business to work with and I strongly recommend it.

Just had my HVAC replaced including the AC coil and heat pump. Could not be happier with the service and the quality of work. Technicians were on time, respectful of the property, worked cleanly and efficiently. Your HVAC system is basically only as good as the installers and they took every step to make sure it was done correctly. Even corrected a venting error caused by a previous plumbers installation of our tankless water heater. Love the honesty & size of USS. When you call you know exactly who you will end up talking with. Great communication via text & phonecalls. So lucky to have found this company. They recently saved us literally thousands on a sewer main repair bc they were so honest which is why we trusted them with our hvac install. I’ve dealt with at least 8 plumbing and hvac contractors in the last month & most were big names in the DC area. They were all dishonest & pressured us with a ton of sales tactics and ALL suggested work we didn’t need! We got none of that from USS. Absolutely love this company. My installer (Matt D) led a friendly and professional crew today. We had a complete HVAV tear out and install done between 8am and 2pm. WIll definitely be sticking with them for maintenance as well.

United Service Specialists has been great to work with on the variety of HVAC issues weve had. Theyve always been able to schedule an appointment for no more than 24 hours from the time of our call and each technician has been professional, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.

I contacted this company seemingly at the same time everyone else did--the first REAL hot week of the summer this year. This meant that their employees were probably booked from dawn til dusk. Despite their overloaded schedule, they made both visits very easy. Carlos was professional and polite, and gave me some advice outside of the service requested that was very helpful. I must say, they were considerably past their 12pm-4pm arrival window for both appointments, but I cant dock a star based on that, because their office was extremely communicative, even past their normal business hours. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone; thank you all so very much for your hard work.

Amidst the COVID-19 chaos, our air-conditioning failed late in the afternoon. To my surprise, I was able to schedule an early appointment for the following day. The representative was very punctual and very professional. Within minutes the system was repaired (blown fuse) and good to go. I was even able to sign up for a routine maintenance agreement, dropping the labor cost of the air-conditioning repair. Fantastic service!

A friend referred me to United Service Specialists when our AC broke unexpectedly on a 98 degree day when we were hosting a large party. The dispatcher was super friendly and she assured me that they would be able to schedule a technician to come out same day and fix my AC in no time. On time took me step by step explaining in detail total analysis of my system for spring/summer maintenance.

My HVAC evaporator coil leaked and was still under warranty. Technician performed a leak test and found leaks on the bends of the indoor evaporator coil. I had refrigerant added earlier, but it stayed cool for only over a month before it stopped producing cool air. The office provided a price quote on the repair estimate and arranged to get the replacement part from Trane. They received the part after I accepted the repair order along with a 50% deposit. They set up an appointment to have the same technician to install the new coil. Technician arrived at the time of the appointment and completed the replacement installation in a little over an hour and added refrigerant back to the system. System was checked for proper operation and job was completed. Company was very prompt in responding to questions and technician did a very efficient and competent job.Note: This review got posted on the company address listing with a Gaithersburg location. My service came from the College Park, MD location.

I would stay away from this company. I had scheduled an appointment with them for a copper pipe repair. When I called to confirm the appointment the lady on the phone was rude. When I asked her if they needed access to the inside of the property because its a tenant occupied rental property her response was I dont know Im not a plumber.......umm.......what????? Then I asked her if she could ask someone and she said nobody that works here would know that right now. Not what you want to hear when youre about to drop thousands on a plumbing repair.
