Ive found Presidential to be reliable and trustworthy. I never feel like Im being upsold. I love how they send a name/photo of the technician in advance so that you know who will be knocking on your door.A couple of years ago, when a technician did a less-than-adequate job installing something, I called about it, and Presidential sent someone else out right away to remedy the problem. They were apologetic and honest, and I appreciated that above anything else. Sometime s**t happens -- when it does, you own it, apologize for it, fix it and secure the relationship. Presidential seemed to know that, and I appreciated it. Good people .

Very clean and neat!! Cleaned up loose wires and area looks better than when we first moved in. Not to mention they did all this work as the tropical storm was moving in. Rain did not slow them down one bit! Very careful of our carpets all floors! Thank you!

Presidential responded immediately and sent a service person, Simon, who arrived in 40 minutes. He diagnosed the problem and suggested a service person return the next day, after the ice melted. The serviceman, Juan, came today and inserted an injection of freon that allowed the air conditioner to run until a replacement for my very old system is installed. All great advice given promptly during one of the hottest days this summer. I am grateful to them for their excellent service and highly recommend them.

I had a new heat pump and air handler installed through Presidential Heating & Air. I was very happy with my experience. After an assessment, I was offered several proposals. Marc answered my questions, and explained the options. On installation day Humberto and his team were on time and did a fantastic job. The team was very professional and clean. I appreciated that they kept me informed during the process and walked me through how to operate the new system. I would highly recommend Presidential!

I cannot say enough about Tim and his business. I have a hair salon that has needed minor to big last minute emergencies. Tim responds within minutes no matter what the issue is. When my 15 year old Carrier Infinity Control screen went blank, I contacted Presidential. Gina was VERY responsive and scheduled a tech for later that same morning. Andy came early and confirmed the thermostat had failed. Andy went to pick up the unit, came straight back and installed it. We were up a running on a hot day within a few hours. Great work, folks!

The service technician was very methodical in diagnosing our problem (no cold air), and he efficiently identified the source of the problem -- a worn out capacitor. He replaced the capacitor, and the A/C system then functioned properly. He was informative and answered all my questions. Top notch.

I just started my annual maintenance contract with Presidential HVAC. Simon came by and performed a furnace checkup and walked me through everything on my system and controller. So far I am extremely pleased with the professionalism and friendliness.

We are very pleased with the work performed by Tommy in getting our A/C running again. He quickly isolated the problem and did a temporary fix to get us to cooling again. The fan center was faulty and needs to be replaced. He will get us a price on a new fan center and other parts that need to be replaced on a 30 year old system. He also recommended not sinking money into this old system and has arranged for us to get an estimate on furnace replacement and possibly replacement of our 15 year old A/c unit.

We had our AC break in the middle of the Summer. They came on a Saturday on time early in the morning. They were professional and polite. We had another issue about 1 hr after they left and they came back that same day to repair it absolutely recommend it!!

We needed to install a new Furnace (Heat and Cold) and did call several known companies in the DC metro area to get an estimate. Presidential Heating & Air was far beyond all competitors in all aspects. The salesperson arrived on time and at no cost to us. He did a through technical evaluation of our needs including precision sizing for the new furnace. During installation four highly skilled technicians arrived and did a magnificent installation of the furnace and a new Wi-Fi thermostat that we had purchased from Amazon. When finished, they thoroughly clean afterwards. The furnace they recommended for us was Carrier brand. It is working perfect and every part including hoses and valves are brand new. I must mention, that prior to salesperson arrival all the way to the last steps during installation we received emails and texts to let us know the status of the project. The pricing was highly competitive and they even provided attractive financing plans. Presidential Heating & Air is 5 STARS and highly recommended. As a final note, I built two homes and I have seen my fair share of AC/Heat companies. Very positive experience and pleasantly surprised.

Our AC blew out last night and right before what will be an exceptionally hot weekend. It was super easy to get an appointment scheduled via PHAs chat feature with Penny, despite being in the late evening, and we got an appointment for the next morning. Juan, our technician, was super friendly, professional, and a clear communicator. He quickly identified the problem, gave a range of solutions (since we had an old AC unit), and was honest about what he thought was the appropriate solution. Overall, our issue was quickly resolved and with excellent customer service. We are also members of their service plan and the technicians who came by to do check-ups on our heating system last Fall and AC this past Spring were similarly professional and courteous. We will definitely be using PHA in the future for our HVAC needs.

A bearing in the motor of the fan in our air handling unit failed. After being diagnosed the technician replaced the fan after the part was received, about 3 days later. The technician was courteous and efficient in his work.

I saw that Presidential had great reviews so contacted them along with a few competitors for an estimate on a mini split HVAC unit. Their price was competitive so combined with great reviews, I opted to go with them.Three highly professional gentlemen showed up precisely on time and I got an immediate sense that I would be taken care of. And indeed, they were knowledgeable, respectful of our home, and cleaned up as they were leaving. My interaction with the sales representative was also highly positive who accommodated my small requests as the mini split HVAC was going into a renovation area of my home.The mini split HVAC is working great as advertised. I could not speak more highly of Presidential. In fact, when the time comes to replace our homes primary HVAC system, I will certainly contact them.

Yesterday on a Saterday my heat pump air conditioning stopped working and the technician arrived about 2 hours after my call. Although he did not have the parts for a final repair he was able to make a temporary fix to restore air conditioning on the initial service call. I have been a Presidential customer for over 10 years and have always been very satisfied with the service.

The technician Tommy was good. The contract I was ready to sign was not. The contract requires me to agree to auto-pay. Tommy said that it wouldnt happen if he didnt save the card information. But then, why does the company require me to sign a false statement? And I hate auto-pay. So, no contract at least for now, meaning I had to pay more money for this service than I wanted to.

Presidential was recommended by a plumbing company that did not do HVAC. I needed to replace my whole house humidifier on my furnace. The person I talked to on the phone was very helpful in determining what my options were from the humidifiers Presidential supports. They were able to help my determine that I had a bypass system and told my about the direct system the suggested. I agreed to the service and the estimated cost for the new system and service. We agreed to a service date and time. The technician called me to let me know he was on his way and when he would be there. Right on time he arrived and started working. He actually determined that my current humidifier had not been connected properly when I got my new furnace (installed by a different company). He quickly removed the old system and set to installing the new and improved system. He repaired the old by-pass and got the water flowing. This winter has been such a pleasure with a new functioning humidifier. I would recommend Presidential HVAC.

Presidential installed my HVAC system in 2005, replacing one that was more than 25 years old. Great system (Carrier) efficient, quiet, variable blower speed is very nice. They have done maintenance since then. I am very happy with their service. Service this year (2020) was done by Andy Middleton. He was prompt, efficient, and thorough. Hes a nice guy, too. Great experience — this is a very streamlined operation!I got a text about an hour before the appointment confirming the time and introducing the technician, Jack. There is even a link in the text so I could track the progress of the truck right to our door.Jack checked out our 2 systems, a gas furnace and a heat pump. He replace the filters and then showed us how to adjust the dampers and vents to even out the temperature across all 3 levels of the house.We also had iwaves installed. These little gadgets kill mold, bacteria and viruses, as well as reducing allergens, so it made sense to get them done while he was here.We also thought we needed another Thermostat but Jack recommended an alternative solution that didnt cost us anything - which I really appreciated.Id recommend Presidential.

We have used Presidential for about ten years and are very satisfied. Just today we had our furnace check-up which included replacing one part which needs replacing every several years. We were advised in advance that this needed to be done and the cost involved. Their personnel have been unfailingly prompt and courteous. We also used Presidential to upgrade the humidifier on our furnace to a “steam humidifier.” This was done efficiently and for a fair price. As you can see, we recommend them highly.

Service Technician Juan Albisu, came to service an issue about our new Carrier unit less than a year old about water leaking. Turns out it was a clogged hose which he was readily able to fix. Juan was open/upfront, very personable and was able to communicate as what the issue was. His service was impeccable, was very knowledgeable about my system and made it a very welcome experience. I would rate him very highly as a skilled technician and welcome Juan anytime to service my home.

I want to thank Presidential Heating and Air Conditioning for the quality and honestdiagnosis they provided and follow up service and installation. We awoke in early December to a loud banging sound in our indoor furnace. Tommy came by and diagnosed our 20 year old system with mold, in need at least of a new motor, but rationalized with us our system was on its last legs. We had a new system installed inside and outside three days later along with an Air Wave purifier to keep our air quality clean and protective of mold forming again. Dave, the main installer, did quality, efficient work, along with his assistant. Mark, our sales rep, explained the options of a “good, better and best replacement option”, and provided us with all discounts and rebates that were available. Bottom line: good people, good Carrier products, good support and customer service. We will use Presidential as our main HVAC service provider from now on, and my wife and I would recommend them highly to anyone considering who to call when they have heating, air duct cleaning or air conditioning needs. I had an appointment for 7:30 in the Am, so we got the kids ready early and waited. By 7:45 Am no-one was here and I heard nothing, so I tried calling Presidential and when I was unable to reach anyone I called the guy who does the in-home evals, Gary. Unable to reach anyone I sent an email and then got a call back from Presidential telling me Gary was stuck at the shop and was just leaving and was running late.Gary showed up about 20 minutes or so later. When my wife answered the door she said hello and Gary ignored her and said nothing. She said hello again and he barely uttered hi in a low voice, clearly irritated. I came down and took him to the basement to show him where we needed help and he immediately began criticizing us; what we did wrong, and was oozing anger and it was very uncomfortable. I finally just asked him why he was being so hostile and he said because I called him as opposed to calling the office. I explained that I had tried both places only because we had an appointment, no-one had shown up at the appointed time, and no-one bothered to call to tell us they were running late.Gary continued to be rude, abrupt and angry, his responses were condescending and he made the whole experience very uncomfortable. I later found out that he was also rude to my mother-in-law, having ignored her too when she said good morning to him.Overall, the whole experience was really disappointing, really disconcerting and probably the worst experience with a contractor weve had in our lives, and in my own home no less. We got this company from Angies list and Angies list should be ashamed for having promoted this really unprofessional company.

William was punctual, friendly and clearly explained his overall assessment of our system. He even changed the filters. We plan to continue using Presidential Heating for our heating & A/C needs and recommend them to family and friends.
