I have worked with Mallick Plumbing a few times and have been very impressed with their service, professionalism, and advice. Bobby is fantastic and shared a ton of great insights. The guys showed up on time, were very respectful, and cleaned up after they were done. I am also impressed with the quality of the work they did. It is hard to find good contractors these days, but I would highly recommend Mallick.

Im finishing my basement and adding a full bath. Mallick took extra steps no other plumbing company we had out for quotes did. Naun was incredibly professional and let me know what to expect as next steps in the process, throughout the process of receiving the quote, everyone I spoke or emailed with was responsive and personable. It was apparent this business operates on a level much higher than others in their industry. While their pricing was competitive, they were not the cheapest of our quotes, however, we chose them based on the confidence of our interactions with them thus far, and knew the job would be done with the degree of care and expertise we expect.Naun and Kevin were amazing, transparent and informative throughout the project. In the future, I wont need to shop around for a plumbing company. We will go with Mallick every time!

I found that the company was recommended in the Best Pick Reports for the Montgomery County. I needed inspection and possibly repair of my main sewer line which had been clogged. The first contact was very good, with the person on the phone being friendly, listening to me and explaining the tariffs for the works. The technician (Jacob) arrived as scheduled. A message was sent half an hour to confirm arrival. Jacob invited me to stay when he sent the camera to inspect the sewer line. He explained what we were seeing. The image of the camera was clear. Amazingly we found that the line was not broken and just needed to be cleaned. Another company, using a camera with a blurry image, had told me that I needed to patch 3 feet of the line. Jacob gave me the price to clean the line without pressuring me to agree. I agreed as I did not want to go through the hurdles of a clogged drain again. Still this saved me $6,000 compared to the estimate from the other company. Jacob came back in the afternoon to clean the pipe. He did a thorough job, cleaning in particular what remained of the stuff which had caused the drain to be clogged and had not been removed by the previous company. He did several runs with the machine verifying the condition of the line with the camera to be sure that the line was cleaned. The difference at the end was amazing and now we are good for 50 years. I am very satisfied with the work that was done. As a result I asked the company to do some more work in my house. I strongly recommend the company and definitely will use it in the future.

Highly Recommend: Communication was on point. Brandon came in to do the estimate and did the work as well. He kept me up to date on what was going on and was able to answer many of my novice plumbing questions. Back end staff was always available to answer the phone when I called in, which is a huge plus for me.

Mallick Plumbing goes above and beyond. I moved to a new home and called them to address some issues that became apparent within the first two weeks of living there. Billy arrived and was amazing. He was patient, extremely thorough, extremely knowledgeable, found a serious safety issue the home inspectors missed (cracked water heater vent pipe = carbon monoxide in the house), and worked a long day to get it all completed. Simple items turned out to be a bigger deal once the work started, mainly because the work wasn’t done correctly by whomever had previously tried to address the issues. Long story short, if you want things fixed right, call Mallick. Highly recommend.

On a late Monday afternoon, we discovered a leak in a pipe under our house. Suspecting a pinhole leak, as we had had a previous leak three years earlier in our spare bedroom, we contacted Mallick Plumbing to investigate the problem. Amazingly, they had our previous work on file in their office, with a history of our past work performed. They scheduled us the very next day and showed up promptly at the appointed time. Troy Rey was the plumber who crawled under the house and determined that it was indeed a pinhole leak. With his phone, he took photos of the problem, came up to show us and to confer on the solution. He cut a three foot section of piping at a joint leading to our upstairs bath, and replaced it with new piping. In all, the project took about two hours from start to finish. The work was performed efficiently and effectively, ending our 24-hour ordeal of spraying water in our crawl space and a shut off water main while we had the problem repaired. The price was reasonable and all work was performed within the estimated time provided in Troys assessment. I would rate Mallick very highly and recommend them to anyone needing a plumber.

This was my second time using Mallick Plumbing. Bobby came out and diagnosed my knocking pipes and inspected the plumbing in my entire house. I went forward with the recommended jobs because Bobby was honest and very professional.I had another plumber inspect what I thought were knocking pipes, and he said, I dont have to hear it. You need a water pressure meter (WPM) for so many hundreds of dollars. My instincts were correct in that I wanted a second opinion. Bobby inspected my house for the knocking pipes, gauged my water pressure, and said that I did not need a WPM. This was a thorough inspection with a measure of honesty. I appreciated that. I did, however, have a leak above my hot water heater, which Bobby fixed.I signed up with Mallick Maintenance Program where they do an annual house inspection which includes a hot water heater flushing. I do believe I have a good plumber.

A well respected company with a great reputation. Clear and concise explanations and very easy to work with. Good and fair pricing. They installed a pressure reducer, ball main shutoff, water heater and expansion tank, and exhaust duct work though chimney (through a sub contractor). Real professional all the way. Everyone we spoke to was great to work with with. They took the time to answer all our questions in a manner we could understand and did exactly what we wanted and they said they would do and at the quoted price and when they said they would do it. I would without reservation recommend them.

I have used Mallick Plumbing to replace two water heaters in difficult to fit locations and today to replace an 18 year oldwell pump and holding tank. This work was performed in a home that was built in the 1800s and later restored and maintained with modern plumbing infrastructure ... the property and home is a professional challenge that requires skill, knowledge and experience . Mallick sent out two teams today to troubleShoot my water issue ( I had no water), once identified, they searched the region to locate and pick up both a submersible water pump and holding tank to replace those in my system that were over 18 years old. My water was restored in a day — this included pulling the submersible pump, water line and wiring buried 375 feet below ground. I highly recommend Mallick and won’t call anyone else!

We had 2 outdoor hose bibs replaced with frost free ones. Also, new valves installed. Tyler did great work. This is second plumbing service wed had with Mallick - first was a new hot water heater installation in January. Impressed with their service.

He assessed what needed to be done, and gave us rough prices for worse and best case scenarios.The explanations for his calculations were CLEAR. He emphasized that materials are old and not of the highest quality, therefore things can go in a bad direction...fast.All of our plumbing problems were taken care of in his estimated 2 hours. The price came in UNDER his lower estimate.Plus, everything looks cleaner and shinier than before he got here! Cameron wore booties in the house, too. It may be commonplace post pandemic, but still, it was noted. He was courteous, respectful of my 96-year old fathers desire to not break the bank, and personable.

Had an emergency requiring all water to the house to be shut off. Tried several other plumbers including the so-called 24/7 plumbers. Called Mallick at 8 pm and the plumber arrived in 45 minutes. Jacob was completely professional and corrected the dysfunctional shower faucet problem within an hour. Kept everything clean when he worked and had all the necessary tools. Be prepared: the cost for emergency service like this is NOT cheap but it was worth it to us. They let us know the cost up front. Their service saved us hours of anxiety and aggravation and we had our water service restored quickly. He also checked water pressure and water quality. Very satisfied and highly recommend the company. Will use again.

This was my second time using Mallick and Ill be calling on them again. Bobby was our plumber both times and delivered meticulous service. After installing a bathroom faucet it turned out the faucet (separately purchased) had an internal flaw. Bobby tried to fix the faucet and then kindly waited while I ran out to the store for a replacement. He also assessed our existing systems and provided recommendations and quotes for preventative maintenance, which was beyond the requested service. My in-laws also use Mallick with high satisfaction. Im confident in any work performed by this company.

Jeff, Jacob and Hunter did a great job installing new grind pump and control panel for my septic tank. They were very professional and understood what needed to be done to resolve the issue. After the work was done they made sure everything was working and showed me how to do preventive maintenance and to monitor the control panel. Jacob, the plumber sent by Mallick, quickly repaired the faucet problem that was the reason for the service call, and identified two other under-the-sink problems -- an improperly seated garbage disposal and a badly corroded water intake valve -- which he also repaired efficiently. (He also explained his recommendations and decisions clearly as he proceeded.) We plan to use him through Mallick for other projects.

I feel like the tech turned a 30 min job into 1 1/2 hour job. Overall good service but definitely took longer than expected.

We had three leaks in our home (two of them for sometime, you know those annoying leaks you just ignore and hope will go away. The third leak was more serious and forced us to finally contact a plumber). Mallick Plumbing was able to resolve all three of them for a reasonable price. They were courteous, competent, and professional. We would definitely use them again!

The setup of the pipes in my home is cramped at best. The technician never complained, was thoughtful in process, cleaned up after work was completed and answered my questions carefully. Conner with Mallick plumbing did an outstanding job. My wife and I just moved into our new home, and of course on day one the main drain line was clogged and started flooding our basement. Rob came to relight the water heater and charged $180. On top of it, he found out the water pressure from outside is too high (90 psi according to him) and recommended to replace PRV for $775. The truth is that the water pressure reads only at 46 as we checked with a new bought pressure gauge. A new PRV costs less than $100. All of these tell me that this business is not honest and charge way too much.(Follow-up on 8/8/2021) On the same day of my above review published, the manager (Jeff) at Mallick Plumbing & Heating called me and tried to make up for me. At the end of the phone conversation, he offered me a partial refund in exchange for my removal of the poor review rate but I declined, instead I told him that I will post a follow up on this. Its been 10 days passed but there is no check received yet. Will the managers words just an empty promise? Probably.

Cameron from Mallick serviced our water treatment system, installed a new outside faucet, a new shutoff valve for the faucet and repaired a toilet. His workmanship and professionalism were outstanding, and the price paid was reasonable for the work performed. We are very satisfied and highly recommend both Mallick and Cameron.

Ive been using Mallick Plumbing for years. This is the first time I believe that Im reviewing them. I dont think they asked before ;). They have did rough and finish plumbing for my master bath. They installed an electric water heater is a ight spot below my stairs. They have fixed a clog in my disposal and this last job was also great. They installed an outdoor propane tank, gas line to my screened porch and a gas fireplace in the same room. You can hire a plumber or hire Mallick. They are just better.

Mr. Jacob George meticulously determined that my kitchen drain was clogged with a massive amount of grease. Initially, I thought my garbage disposal wasnt working properly. It took him quite a while, but he continuously tested it and proved that it was in good working condition. After thorough examination of the drain and snaking it several times with two different types of equipment, the drain was clear of grease.

Great service as needed to shut off water heater on a Saturday night. But prices for replacement of water heater were a third more than others.

We needed our commercial sprinkler backflow device inspected, and our existing plumber scheduled it a month late, and then cancelled. Needless to say, theyll be our first call for next years inspection... although Im guessing theyll call us to schedule on time!

I have written a review of this company before. I stand by my previous statement of the professionalism and care the receptionist showed. I provided the details as to the disposal I had and details of the leak being experienced. The receptionist also discussed the process concerning my and their team health in ref to Covid19. An appointment was setup. One he day of, their Plumber called during the day and provided an ETA. Later he called again to verify the time was good etc. The plumber arrived on-time, discussed options, had the parts in the van. Installed the disposal, fully cleaned up, and perform a few different checks include a full sink leak check… You get what you pay for. I will use this company over and over again. In fact, they even which me a belated happy birthday when I when to pay my bill and provide a Sr. % discount which was unexpected. Some of the best customer service I have seen in over 3 decades. My new to me townhouse had a water heater that was at least 14 years old. Although it was still heating water and not leaking, it did make some grumpy aging noises. The plumber I had used when I was renovating last summer was unavailable and going to be out for a long period of time. His voicemail recommended Mallick.I called Mallick and they were very personable over the phone. Due to COVID-19, I got to do a virtual call with Dale. I pointed out all my concerns and he asked for me to zoom in on some points of my old water heater. He said he would work on a quote for me and get it to me. And he did. Quote came quickly. I reviewed, but also wanted to get some other quotes for comparison. I used the Yelp option to send out a request to other plumbing companies. I did get replies, but only one other plumber gave me a quote. Others said theyd call to schedule a call but didnt.So, I ended up with Mallick. I mentioned that the quote was a bit higher than expected. Dale reviewed some options and we settled on a plan that would work for me for the next decade. Dale ordered the water heater and other parts. Within a week or so, Katee from Mallick called to schedule.Tyler showed up at my house bright an early the day of the appointment. I thought it was going to be two people, but it was just Tyler. Thankfully, my water heater closet is on the main level and right at the front door so he didnt have too far to go!Took about 4-5 hours for the new water heater, expansion tank, and all the other bits and pieces to get installed. Tyler was informative and explained what I needed to know about the new water heater. While he was wrapping up, I had asked him about some other issues about the pressure valve and other pipes that probably needed to get checked and replaced. Tyler quoted it out for me so I had what I needed to research.Good thing Tyler and I had chatted about it cause something wonky was happening with the water/pipes in the house. I got a lot of water hammering noise throughout the weekend. Draining everything and hoping air would get back into the pipes didnt help much. So, I called Mallick and asked Tyler to come back out. He came the next day and changed out the pressure valve. and checked for other issues. He was going to change the valve under the water meter for me, but had to have WSSC come out to fix the valve at the curb to turn off the water.After WSSC came out and fixed the valve at the curb, Tyler came back out to finish changing the valve. Good timing cause before he arrived, I could hear a toilet tank refilling. Tyler checked it out, did the dye test and theres a leak. So, once the parts come in, hell be back.Mallick is following COVID precautions. Tyler has a mask and gloves. Hes also mindful of property wearing booties over his shoes inside the house. Also careful to make sure the door is closed as he goes in and out of the house to his work truck. Incredibly polite. Definitely recommend Mallick Plumbing.#MOENFLO10

These guys were great. Rushed right to my aid when I had a sudden backflow in the basement from the sewer. A horrible mess that took hours to clean, but Mallick sent Bobby down and he got right to work making sure the problem was cleared. Fast, professional and great on the communication front. I had a water heater that needed replacing, so I reached out for a quote. I was contacted promptly by Claire and she was responsive and answered all questions. We had some scheduling issues but they were very accommodating and were able to work with us. The technician who came out, Billy was also stellar and very professional. I did not catch the name of the technician working with him, but they were both great. I shopped around and prices were comparable to other companies and I never felt that they were overcharging or upselling. Very pleased with the work and customer service!

We have two toilets and, in the past year, each has broken. Both times, I called Mallick and was extremely pleased with their work. They were kind, professional, fast and fixed our problems. I also appreciated how honest they were -- the first toilet broke in such a way that the Mallick plumber said there was no easy DIY fix. When our second toilet broke, the Mallick plumber very kindly (and without condescending) told me how I could fix this on my own next time.

We hired Mallick to install a whole house water filtration system. They sent Frank, a very experienced plumber who did a great job. The price was a little but the quality was very good. I recommend.

I had a person from Mallick Plumbing come out to install a new kitchen faucet. It was a job I thought I could do myself but the old faucet was cemented in place and seemed impossible to remove. The person had to resort to cutting the faucet out in a tiny space, and did a great job installing the new faucet. In the end I was extremely happy with the work and grateful they were able to resolve a difficult problem. I would highly recommend Mallick.
