Our entire experience with Bonsby HVAC was fantastic. David came out for an initial consult, really listened, answered questions knowledgably, and was patient while we thought through our options. Then, when we decided what to do, he got the estimate to us and scheduled the teams to come out quickly. All of the installers/technicians who came out were great, but I want to give a special shout out to Will and James!! They were friendly and efficient, and responsive and communicative as I worked from home while they worked on my home for more than a week (also, seriously, the cleanup each day -- so appreciated!!).

These guys were great! The initial meeting with David was professional and didnt try to over sell me. I had 2 furnaces and 2 air units replaced. The technicians Mo and Sam were very professional and on time. They talked me through the whole process and kept me up to date during the 3 day process. I highly recommend them.

These guys are awesome. Theyre professional, they respond quickly, and even though they arent the absolute lowest price you still get more than you pay for - they honor their warranty quickly and with no fuss, and they do great work. Every interaction Ive had with them has been fantastic, and that includes replacing furnaces at three different properties.

We needed a new furnace and air conditioner installed and we contacted Bonsby. From the initial meeting with salesman David, to the final installation, service was superb. The technicians Will and James were extremely professional and respectful and had the footpaths and work areas carefully covered. Since the equipment was old, and there was a lot of overhauling involved, they worked tirelessly the entire 8-hour day. Will’s knowledge and expertise in this field shows and after completion, he took the time to explain how each unit operates. We cannot say enough how pleased we are with the end product. Called on a Sunday and Eddie was sent out to our home. He resolved a simple issue to fix our air conditioning unit. He was professional and courteous. Will use them again for sure!

Had a plumbing emergency where the main outflow was almost completely blocked. They fit me in right away, sent to really knowledgeable technicians and bent. over backwards to explain every part of the process to me so that I knew what I was paying for. They also went out of their way to take care of my home, making sure that all of the heavy equipment etc. was on pads in plastic to protect my floors. Cleaned up even better than I do when they were done! Stellar service! Five stars!

They came out in an emergency situation. They got here quickly and did what they could to get our heat running in the meantime getting us set up with a follow up appointment to do more investigation in the daytime. Highly recommend.

I called Bonsby Plumbing because I suspected that I had a water leak, and I was afraid there was a leak from the underground pipe. Appointment was made the same day. When the tech arrived (Luis), he looked at the area and found that there was a leak in a joint in the water line leading to the water meter.He was able to get the part and fix it quickly.I am very impressed at how quickly Bonsby Plumbing responded and was able to fix my problem. I was impressed by the professionalism at Michael Bonsby.I had to buy an HVAC system and David was very thorough with the inspection for obtaining a quote. He explained the ins and outs of buying such a system and potential issues i could have down the line with my existing setup. At the end of the day, i was happy with the level of detail provided so i can make a choice and their offer was also fair.

We needed a new kitchen faucet and sidesprayer installed. Carlos did a great job fitting the new, larger faucet into the existing space. They let us know when to expect their team to arrive, texted as they were on the way and worked carefully (and cleanly). I would definitely call Bonsby again.

We love working with Michael Bonsby! They are very professional and treat you well. Their work is impeccable. Communication between their home office and their field techs could sometimes get confused. Also, make sure to confirm and reconfirm placement of switches and units, otherwise you may lose some plants outside or have a switch in a weird place inside. Overall, though, excellent service and workmanship! Highly recommended!

We recently had to replace our HVAC unit. This team was wonderful. They came our right away, gave us a competitive quote. And were able to get out the same weekend and quickly replaced the unit. The team was careful to lay down tarps in our house. They worked quickly, and were very friendly and professional and made sure we knew the ins and outs of everything before they left. On Saturday March 2, 2020 at *4AM*, the hot water heater had a major leak. Water was pouring out...We cleaned up the mess as much as possible and around 5:30AM, I left a detailed emergency message with Michael Bonsby. Received a phone call around 7:00AM and by 9:00AM, a service technician was in my basement...this is totally incredible and awesome!Needed a new water heater...okay.Remember, *it’s Saturday morning during a...pandemic* yet...by around 12:30PM, everything was DONE! Another water heater was gotten and installed, the work and clean-up...finished meticulously.The price?Far, far less than I expected under these circumstances. Very reasonable.Special thanks to Carlos and Joe for saving me.They are...my heroes.

We called Bonsby when our air conditioning stopped working during the peak of summer heat in July. Our technician arrived right on time at the start of the two hour window provided and knew what was wrong within one minute of stepping in the house. He then left to pick up the needed part and came back and had it all fixed and set within 45 minutes of arriving. Our technician (Jason) was courteous and respectful wearing his mask and distancing at all times and taking the time to explain the issue and provide us with options. We found him to be knowledgeable, hardworking, and honest. We had called Bonsby a couple years earlier at a different property which led to us calling them again this time. We have been very pleased with their service.

I had a problem with my air conditioning system on a very hot Saturday and I called Michael Bonsby Heating & Air Conditioning they were booked and they couldn’t come till the next day, thirty minutes later they called me back and they told me that they have a technician available coming to take care of my problem first thing in the afternoon. The technician was very professional and knowledgeable an did a great job. Their prices are very reasonable. I would definitely will use them again.

I had a ac/heating system installed in March 2020 and starting in July 2020 it stopped working. I had someone come out three times to fix it with no resolution. I paid over 13k for this system and Ive requested them to remove the entire unit and my money back. Now they are saying they cant do that. Im afraid the system will break down later and it will be out of warranty. This has been the worst experience Ive ever had. The workers are great, customer service is great, but the system is not. Royally disappointed in this system. I want the system out!

They were very open and honest during their assessment. They explained everything very thoroughly, and they didnt even attempt to get me to sign immediately. When I later decided to go with them, everything was delivered and installed as promised. The original salesman and the manager both stopped by during the install as promised. So far we are very happy with their products and their service.Ten months later - the unit completely died on us. No heat, no emergency heat, just complete shutdown during the first snow fall of the year. I never experienced a complete failure of a unit including the backup heat, and certainly wasnt expecting it with a unit less than a year old.They came out immediately the next day to fix the issue and were very nice in explaining what happened. I would have preferred the emergency heat functioned properly from the start, but I am happy with how they resolved it.

I cannot say enough positive things about this company. We bought a furnace from them when ours broke on Christmas Day and I was impressed then with them. We called them again 2 days ago to look at our AC when we couldnt get our house to cool on the 90+ degree days. I dont think in my 30+ years of home ownership I have ever had such wonderful service. On every level I rate this a 5-star company, and Tay a 5-star technician. Very impressive!!(FYI - they never asked for a review. Theyre so good that I felt the need to share our experience)

I can’t recommend Bonsby enough! Great guys, very knowledgeable, very good with the dog, very careful with protecting the floors and cleaning up their messes. They gave us a very comprehensive seasonal check including even checking the outflow of the ducts and the functionality of the returns as some rooms didn’t seem to be as well-served by the system as others. Mike Russell is the best, but all their guys are good. We will definitely use them again!Update: Used Bonsby again, and they were as good as always—knowledgeable, helpful, hardworking. Great guys!

Contacted Michael Bonsby for seasonal HVAC maintenance and it was possibly the worst experience with a contractor to date. They damaged the panel to my HVAC unit and said they would return to repair it. They never did. When I called their office, they said they would need to speak to the technician and call me back. They never called me back.

Two reasons I recommend Michael Bonsby who I used to replace my HVAC. 1) They offer a variety of brands. The sources I used for research before my purchased suggested using a company that was not limited to one brand of HVAC system because they will steer you to certain products that might not be right for you. In addition, their selection allowed them to offer us units at a variety of price points.2) They have been very responsive with follow up adjustments. Whenever there is an issue they come right out. The technicians are great and their communication system lets me know when they are enroute and ask for feedback after they leave.So, this is a very high quality company that I recommend with no hesitation.

We had 4 separate quotes to replace our furnace. I felt David did an excellent job and pointed out that our heat pump was actually oversized for what we needed. As a result, the quote was slightly cheaper and David seemed confident that it would actually be more efficient for us. Manuel and Iver did an excellent job on the install. It was only supposed to take one day, but ended up taking two. They took their time to make sure everything was done correctly. They set us up with heat on the first day, so we weren’t cold at night. Then came back the next day to button up and make sure everything was correct. They even took a little time to stop a noise that was coming from our ductwork. I was very pleased with the service I received to repair my furnace. The blower failed Monday night; I called the company and left a message; they called me by 8 the next morning and the technician arrived precisely on schedule at 10 am. The part was obtained from a warehouse several hours away but the technician waited around and installed the motor early that early afternoon. My highest rating for the technician who came and the company that sent him.

Michael Bonsby was able to get a technician to help us the same day as we placed the call, even though its a busy time of year. The technician dealt expertly and calmly with a difficult situation. My only complaint is that the office staff couldve been a lot clearer in communicating about the timing of parts and repairs. The repairs took place a day later than wed been told they would and not during the time frame (actually earlier) that wed been given.

I thought Jerry (Sales Rep) was excellent - he was very knowledgeable about the equipment and what was the best solution for the best price. Super super outstanding response. The technician is wonderful and an expert. Diagnosed the problem quickly. He saw ice accumulation and opened the unit and diagnosed to be the blower stopped working and needed replacement. He brought the part in record time, replaced the unit. All the ice accumulation was melted and water drained and cleaned put the unit back on line in record time. I am very very satisfied.

They changed both units and Jerry and his team provide me and my family with information about each unit, components and how efficient replacing my old and out of date unit would be. Well definitely stick with this company.*****Once the technician arrived, he was great. Very knowledgeable and helpful. They had to bump my original appointment (scheduled months ago) for a more urgent task, and promised to keep me posted on the techs arrival time. Our definitions of keep me posted were clearly different, as I had to call to get updates as the target times came/went.

We have used Michael Bonsby plumbing services for a number of projects around our house. They have always been prompt on arrival, very professional, and I have never had any issues with the work their technicians have performed. They have done everything from fixing the sewer pipe in our driveway, installing a whole house water filter, and replacing our hot water heater. They are my go to plumber when I need a project done.

I thought the guy who serviced my unit seemed fine, although I did not see what he actually did so it is hard to tell. I do, however, feel that Michael Bonsby seems to have a turnover problem. Every time someone comes to service my ac/furnace the past year or two, it seems to be a new person who has only worked there a couple of months. So, I wonder what is going on and would feel more comfortable knowing that they are sending experienced people. It used to be different, years ago the same person would come year after year -- there was some consistency and I knew he was experiened.

Two years ago Michael Bonsby installed a new HVAC system which was a pretty painless process. This year I started on their maintenance system. Getting an appointment was not difficult and I received a 2hr window time--so much better than the 4-8 hr windows from other companies. Arrived promptly and received call and e-mail before arrival. The technician had worked in the field for 30 years, needless-to-say, knowledgeable and informative. So happy with my decision.

Eddie and Miguel were very friendly and hard-working. Very professional results. The 2.5 ton AM Standard heat pump is working very well so far. Had to call to get someone out. I have used Michael Bonsby for 12 years!! They are reliable, trustworthy. They only make recommendations when it is absolutely necessary!! Mike Russel was amazing!! He told me why we heard loud noises when we had the AC on and the heat on. The HVAC and the compressor is not working properly and that it will not last much longer. He tracked in dirt and he used the vacuum cleaner to clean him up.

Called for service and they had 2 technicians out the next day to replace my hot water heater. Technicians were very pleasant and explained work being done and answered all of our questions. Would highly recommend to anyone.

The installation was done fine, but never finish paying till you have a full test on all your environments. In my case, they finish the installation, and I had a few rooms open (no insulation). Now that all rooms are closed, three of them have not receive heat with a -10 degrees difference from what it says in the thermostat. I called for service and they do not know how to resolve, they only say we do not know. No help, neither willingness to resolve it...

The description on google claims We can fix all of your heating needs. Yet they do not fix oil or waste oil heaters. 1 star simply because I wasted my time calling from a bogus description.

We had a service message come up on our thermostat,and so called to have our system looked at. The receptionist was able to book an appt for later in the day, and the service technician, Jason, arrived on time; was extremely professional and courteous, and gave me a suggestion or two on further maintenance issues with our system.

Bonsby replaced five old radiators with Runtels, added thermostatic valves to three others, and replaced our old out-sized furnace. When we started heating the house recently, we had a heating zone added to the basement. There were minimal hiccups in this massive amount of work on three floors, and Joe and Dan made any and all adjustments necessary to make sure the over hauled system works perfectly.
