Weve been looking for a climate-controlled storage space for a couple of months now, and we are so glad to have found StorQuest. Out of all the others we visited in town, this one is by far the cleanest, most convenient, and nicest facility. Jeff was very knowledgeable and thorough and walked me through their rental policies and storage options, and I felt confident renting from him on the spot. Im excited to put our space to good use!

Kimberly Weeks went above and beyond the call of duty! She showed me the initial storage unit that was available. When she realized I really could use a bigger unit she checked to see if any of the ones that were SUPPOSED to be available were actually cleared out. And sure enough one was. We walked the premises as she showed me how to enter the code and get to the unit. She did an awesome job! It was quick and easy and reasonably priced!!

New Management needs to work on customer service. I received none. Otherwise, it was a beautiful place to temporarily store my belongings. Carol, the woman who originally signed me up and gave me the tour, was amazing!! I give 5 Stars to her. The new manager is a very mean person to work with. She bullied me and theatened me so often I felt as tho I was having a heart attack. I pleaded and even offered to pay 20.00 for someone to help me lift a mattress onto the top of my vehicle. I had called ahead and was told not to worry and that I would be helped. Im 64 years old, and disabled. The move was extremely difficult but it had to be done. The manager caused me so much stress and at one point, I begged and pleaded for help and was instead, stared at as tho I was not even there Never again. I ended up calling a friend and paid StoreQuest 5.00 for rope and had to pay my friend 15.00 to move one item. I will never use this place again. Thanks Carol. Wherever you are.

I moved all my house contents here for storage, with a moving company..so somewhat complicated and involved. The StorQuest manager met with my movers and helped them with access and the optimum spot to park their rig. Everything went super smooth. The facility is very new. Very clean and the climate controlled units are perfect. Note that this place has the cleanest restrooms in Gainesville too. Great staff and a great facility.

Facility is clean and secure. Carts are available to assist in moving items from vehicle to storage unit. Climate and humidity control help keep items in good condition while stored.

Carol was so very helpful, friendly and gave us great advise. The place on Archer is very clean and new. I love that it has elevators and carts easily accessible. The security cameras are everywhere and the code system in and out makes me feel safe. Carol walked us through and made signing up a breeze.

Father’s Day weekend and I’m moving my kids 1052 miles to Gainesville for college/work. Our move-in date was conveniently on Sun so we had 2 days to travel. Just our luck we had a tropical storm to drive thru. Ms Carol contacted us to confirm our move-in. After explaining the route, weather conditions and an unexpected additional amount of extra cargo... she offered to extend our reservation to Mon and offered us a larger unit. When we arrive, she was so very helpful with the check-in and even made sure our move-in was as easy as possible (including checking in with us unloading truck). During conversation, I mentioned that I was active duty military and was leaving my kids there as I was about to go to a remote location. She offered me piece of mind making sure that if my kids need anything regarding their unit, she would help them as her own (her son also active duty). She also offered us the company’s military discount. Just wanted to thank Ms Carol and StorQuest for all the support especially to us military members who just want to make sure our young adult dependents are taken care of in our absence.

I like the set up and concept. It is very easy it is access the facility. The facility is very clean and spacious. The staff is friendly. The location works well for me.

I went here to store stuff over the summer. I was told I could move in Sunday at 11 and when i got there, they were closed! I spent about 20 minutes panicking in a parking lot and frantically calling the help center when somebody pulled up. I forget their name, but they were a LIFESAVER!!! They checked me in and got me set up with everything I needed. I wish I could remember his name but he was extremely helpful and saved me from having a panic attack and driving home for over 4 hours with a full car. -1 because i was fully told beforehand they would be open and able to help me.

Customer service is amazing; they went out of their way to help. Clean, safe, and secure facility.

The young man who helped us was fabulous- he is a UF student ( I wish I could remember his name), he was patient, explained everything, walked us to our unit, showed us how to use the lock, extremely friendly, helped us purchase boxes. We even ran into him several days later when we were moving stuff in and he was so friendly and helpful. The facility is clean and so well maintained- I feel comfortable leaving all my daughters stuff there

Professional and straight forward, the entire facility is top notch. Sprinkler system to every unit inside, elevators for easy access and able to fit large items up/down. Very secure and the people who run it are the best! I would recommend anyone to use this storage facility.

Loved it. Loved it. Carol was a wonderful person towork with. Great customer service!! 5 stars for that alone!I am taking away my 5 stars. I went to move my things out and was totally bullied by the current manager. I dont understand why but, I do know people need money. I paid. Now, I want them to please STOP taking money out of my bank account. I called many times and spoke with wonderful people. Then, I went there. Thank you Carol. I loved her. Whomever the new manager is, needs to get some better people skills.

Need more elevators. It was a madhouse rush and luckily everyone helped each other and made the best of it.

Great place, both super friendly and great facilities! I need to rent out 3 units under specific parameters and Carol easily and happily helped me sort out my options and which would be best for me. The place is very clean too, I definitely would go again If I need storage in the future!

We had met Carol at the Gainesville StorQuest location on Archer Rd when we were comparing storage places for Spring move out. She was helpful and pleasant while showing us around. This past Friday she was there again when we went to check in. Carol was extremely busy as she appeared to be the only staff member there, but continued to be kind, patient and knowledgeable. Carol was very helpful and friendly. I am a Senior and she didn’t rush nor talk down to me. She was very patient and knowledgeable about what was available and where. Update 5 months later: Ok so not happy at all now. I rented the unit on 4/1 and if you only need a storage unit for 5 months, then its great. Otherwise go somewhere else. Your rent will DOUBLE as soon as the contract is up to be renewed even though they still have discounted specials on their website. Gainesville Self Storage offers a year contract with a month free if you pay in advance. Go there instead. Now I get to move all my stuff TWICE, get a uhaul, etc. Not worth it.Original review: I like the 24/7 access. The facility is always clean. They use solar power so yay, but I wish it was a little cooler inside the buildings. Unfortunately the units are not lighted inside which sucks pretty hard.

The experience was wonderful, very friendly, and easy to understand. The staff member Carol made it very easy to understand the whole process of moving things into the facility. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing storage in Gainesville.

I have been using StorQuest to store additional supplies for my business. The space is clean safe and the staff is great! Most recently Carol assisted me with upgrading my unit. She was extremely helpful with helping me find the right fit.

My experience was amazing! I was very happy that the Storquest is a green Building. The customer care was amazing, easy access in and out of the building.

The facility was very clean and easy to get to. The woman working at the front desk the day I was there she was very nice and very helpful. I believe she went above and beyond in her duties.

Clean, secure, economical. Had one issue when we went in the first time(after signing up online). Employee contacted us morning of move in, but did not tell us that he was going to take over an hour for lunch. Our boxes were in open truck and got soaked while waiting for him to return, had to rebox everything. Access door in back doesnt have the best access, you have to park in RV parking, if they are all filled you are SOL. Overall, I would recommend the place.

I found myself in a tight spot since my lease was up and if I dis not resign, my rent would go up 30%+! I wanted to move to a new city and I found Storquest a blessing! Easy access, secure, nice, clean, no pests! I felt my stuff safe!

I had a wild adventure. I called ahead and purchased a spot. Nice easy process. Very friendly phone support. I was in a time crunch, and happy to have nailed down an outside access unit on a Sunday. I arrived at the location and no staff were on site. So I’m trapped at the gate because like many storage places the access is narrow and one way.So it was a hassle but 25 mins later I’m finally free but still need storage space. So I had called phone service back and they were helpful in locating the next closest location.So Off I go, just a couple miles down the road. I’m pulling a trailer and my son is pulling a trailer and we are probably going to be to late to make the plane. We are much more cautious in our approach this time but luckily there is a tad more space to park.I was lucky enough to catch Carol who was the sweetest and most understanding person and went out of her way to communicate, help, offer suggestions, solve problems. She was above and beyond.There was just no way to make the plane at this point, carol ran into some roadblocks but eventually got us into a spot. She was incredibly kind. The spot is not as convenient as outside access, it required numerous trips up and down an elevator. But that’s life.I think covid makes extra challenges for some businesses. And in this case there was a mistake on their part, which happens, but carol did everything she could to make the experience pleasant. So instead of a grumpy review they get a grateful one. Thanks for caring enough to make the extra effort to help us out.

I thought security my ex try to break in and get my stuff out she had the key would not decode and he would let her in excellent good job very clean a lot of cameras heated entryway key to doorway Dolly carts at every entrance all around excellent experience except the customer service is lacking it took nine days to get a manager assistant manager to fix my problem about forgetting a lot drilled and it was only take care of by the assistant manager at the local one on Archer Road in Gainesville great guy Lisa manager. Dawg in my book he saved the day

Fast, friendly quick service! Detailed explanation regarding rates, details about each type of storage unit and I loved that they had moving carts to use for FREE! Overall I was impressed with how CLEAN the units were as well as the entire facility (outside and inside.)

Although there was a bit of a wait, Ms. Weeks was a joy to be around and she attentively showed me to my unit and how to access and work everything and was even so gracious as to making sure my lease was correct and all. Thanks!

Have my stuff there and I feel it’s secure. Staff was nice when setting up account. Had one issue only but was out of anyone’s control and Management still went above and beyond to make sure I was happy! I greatly appreciate her for that because it shows her character as a person and her loyalty to her company. It made me care about her and her company! It’s just extremely rare for people to do that these days! I would recommend to anyone and everyone this company!

Kimberly walked me through the process of gate entry, times available, and walked me to showcase my unit. She also provided to me the quickest route to my unit from the parking lot. Corey at StorQuest in Gainesville was very helpful in helping me get setup with a climate controlled storage unit to use for my elderly mothers belongings while we have her home from Assisted Living due to Coronavirus.

New facility(one year-March 2020). Several layers of security and identification required for entrance. Mostly indoor, climate controlled units.Four floors with plenty of elevators.Renters insurance required as is proprietary barrel key locking device. Find their best rental rates online!Staff is very accomodating, professional and polite.

Bonnie and Kim were super-friendly. This facility (on 34th street) seems to be in good shape / new and offers access 7 days a week (not all locations do, so be sure you check if thats important to you). The climate-controlled unit we have does not have an interior light so be sure you bring a flashlight when you are moving items in/out.

There are way more cons to this place than there are pros. This is the most inconvenient storage facility ever. They’re only open 10am-5pm Monday-Saturday despite an email going out saying hours would be extended from 6am-10:30pm Monday-Sunday. I even called yesterday and was told starting today (Monday, August 19th) that the facility would be accessible at 6am. So I get up and head there at 7am and there are signs up saying due to mechanical and elevator issues they won’t be open until 10am. So I had to turn around and go back home despite being lied to by a StorQuest associate over the phone. And I specifically asked about the facility on archer road and she assured me they’d be open at 6am.That leads me to my next issue: the elevators. The elevators break constantly. This is a 4 floor storage facility, the elevators should not break. At all. Regardless of being held open for a minute, they should not break. There, in my opinion, is no reason why the elevators should constantly be broken. And there’s only 2 elevators at this facility. There are hundreds of units and only 2 elevators - very inconvenient.I love that the facility is climate controlled, but so are other facilities for way less. This one is over priced. You pay for the unit as well as the lock. The lock was nearly $30, I paid about $230 total for my unit. There is not a sufficient amount of space in the parking lot for 4 floors worth of units (I’ve seen so many fender benders happen.) One pro is that the staff is friendly (whenever you can find them).I would like 24/7 access to my storage unit. Customers have codes to the gates and codes to the building for a reason. This has made my moving process longer and more difficult than it needed to be. I’m very unhappy and disappointed with my StorQuest experience.

The place is nice and the staff is good with customers, but the hours are terrible. How are they gonna only let people move weekdays 10-5 while they are at work or school and not open on Sundays when people can actually Move? They also expect people to move all their heavy stuff by hand because they only have 6 carts to move heavy stuff and hundreds of units on use. They should offer 24/7 access to all units so customers can spread out moving times and not have to go on a scavenger hunt for carts and fight over them.

Great storage units, new, great AC, and no humidity. Only issue is that their hours of operation... for now. They said that it’ll be 7/24 accessible soon. Friendly customer service, I highly recommend this place.

After the 24/7 fiasco, they posted comments to these reviews indicating they would be open to 10PM, which would be pretty good. Then they deleted all those comments and still closing at 6PM.Also, a few months after I moved in, they jacked up my rent 20%. Yes, its a month-to-month contract so thats legal. OTOH, they are probably betting (correctly) that Im not going to go through the hassle of moving again, so Ill pay the increased amount.Id echo what everyone else says -- the on-site manager is a great guy. Everything that is wrong with this facility (hours, elevators, rent increase) is not his fault.

So far...StorQuest has been most helpful...especially during these trying times concerning our state of affairs with the virus.Thank you StorQuest, for helping my family secure a storage unit for my sons college needs.Most appreciatedly,Rob R.
