I have read great reviews of this storage facility. I am so thrilled I proceeded to go through with this one in specific. I was greeted by Colton and Jules, and they are the reason I rented here. Very genuine and professional. Colton took the time to show me different size units which I greatly appreciated. They were both very patient and sweet. YOU GUYS ROCK! Thank you so much!

The manager reached out to me and apologized for miscommunication and refunded the move-out charge. Nice to see the effort was made by the manager. I was expecting a prorated amount but the manager refunded the entire charge. Reaching out and going above expectations restored my trust in the company and will continue to recommend them.Customer for over a decade.New owners demanded a new lease, advised them I was moving out at the end of the month, asked them to email or mail new agreement, they said Id have to go to the office. Advised I did not live in the city anymore, asked to speak with the mgr multiple times since beginning of the month, never happened.Turned keys in, told there was a balance, asked for what, told it was a month to month contract eff the 26th said this should have been communicated with me, I could have closed account earlier.Asked to prorate it they said no and charged $90 for 3.5 days and at the new rate not my old rate.Pitiful they showed no concern for a long time customer. Lady behind the counter basically had the too bad attitude and couldnt care less how long I was a customer.Since new owners, poor service, lack of communication, sent a 1 day notice of rent increases.Stay away from this place unless you like horrible service and being treated like you dont matter.

Walked into the office and the Assistant Manager Colton Brewer helped right away. Sat with us and talked about the best rates possible. Walked out very happy with my storage unit.

This is a very interesting storage place. Its not the typical barricaded and gated everywhere place. However, you can get a storage unit inside where the gate is. They also have storage units that are not gated. The place is easy to get to and the units are easy to get to. They arent anything fancy but the price is right. And they are forever understanding of the fact that I am consistently late on my bill. But they are very nice, they are willing to work with you if you have an absolute date and you follow through. I would recommend it.

They have a variety of sizes, including really large units for very reasonable prices. Colton Brewer is incredibly friendly, personable and informative. This is the first time Ive left a review for a storage company because I had such a great experience with Colton. I went around in person looking at all the storage companies in Gainesville and this is by far the best. 😊

We were in unit 1E and there were multiple cockroaches. Along with eggs and eggs and eggs. Had to throw away furniture, rugs, etc. This was disappointing for only have the storage unit for 4 days. It is safe to say we will never ever use this again. Please go else where and save your $ on people who actually take care of their storage units. This is revolting.

I am probably unique in that I have used Interstate Mini Storage to store important items since 2004! Their rates are reasonable and even with the change of ownership a few years ago and an increase in fees, the quality of service has remained consistent. If my card changed, the communication was always professional. And when I visited, I found everything to be secure and safe. It can be a little tight parking as they have grown, but a minor inconvenience.

Management is always helpful with any questions I may have and Jules is always happy and delightful to talk with.

My husband and I have been renting storage space at Interstate for several years now. Weve been impressed throughout by the cleanliness of the facility, and by the solar-powered air conditioning which keeps our stuff in great shape. All the people who work there are super: for example, one gentleman gave me an immediate heads-up when a space of the sort we wanted became available, and I was able to secure it that very day. Weve had a lot to deal with lately, including downsizing from a large house ourselves and moving my mother and a lot of her belongings down from New Jersey, and thanks to Interstate we can store excess items in an organized and secure fashion. We highly recommend Interstate Mini Storage!

Colton and Juleanna were both friendly and helpful when I came in to select a unit. Climate controlled units are secured behind a locked gate with digital keypad. Only downside was that I was quoted about $10 cheaper (tax included) when I reserved over the phone from a person at the call center compared to when I went in to sign the paperwork.

I have rented for four plus years an air- conditioned unit from Interstate Mini Storage to keep my cherished art collection and furniture. All is safe and in perfect condition. The grounds, buildings and interior spaces are always well-kept. I have never had cause to bring up a complaint. The staff is helpful and efficient, and the rental rates are lower than other storage facilities. I am pleased with the long-term relationship with them.

Their prices are awesome and I found that for the unit size I have, their price is the best in town. Ive had my unit for almost 2 years and have not had one issue. The units are clean, no bugs from what I can tell and the grounds are clean as well. Ive been able to enter at anytime and access my unit. Their security process for entering is great. I like the convenience of being able to make my payments online. If you need a storage unit, I definitely recommend using Interstate Mini Storage.

The management at this facility is above the best in the industry. During an issue I had they bent over backwards to accommodate me since I was living in New Mexico and could not get to my unit immediately. After coming back for a visit and checking on my unit, again, they were more than accommodating and wanting to do anything they could to help. I have been renting from here for 3 years and always had a fantastic experience. It is reasonably priced and easy to access. They are nice and always answer the phones and have a brief grace period for accidental late rent payments. It is honestly the best place in town.

Always cool, nice big hallways, and went in just last week and everything looked exactly the way I left it all those years ago. Not one sign of bugs or moisture, impressive for Florida. I rented a basic storage unit a while back with these guys, and they were very professional and patient as they went over the specifics of our agreement, time line, etc. It was during a local influx of students, and I was so stressed out and in a crunch, needing a storage unit as I was in the middle of moving. I practically called all the storage places in town, and these guys helped me out in a pinch. I feel like it is secure, as they make sure to provide locks and keys, and they have cameras set up, and they make sure to outline what is being stored.

I need to move out of my dorm and only needed a small space. But when I called, they did not have any, so they gave me the next largest size for the same price! It was very simple to sign the lease, and they sent frequent emails to remind you of payments or to send you receipts! The manager was very nice and always willing to help me. Im definitely going to use it next year!PS he said for summer, to call and reserve around spring break because they have been filling up very quickly right around that time!

Cheapest storage of all the places i called, as well as the most friendly. By the time I had left I felt like family. Even earned the name cave man... 5/5 Would come back again.

Absolutely an amazing experience, all the terms and fees were upfront with no hidden costs to worry about later. I was able to sign and move all my stuff in the same day. The owner Eric, made sure to email me well in advanced when my payment was due, the payment website was incredibly simple and easy to use and took 2 minutes to make a payment. I have already recommended Interstate to all my friends who are looking for storage.

They were very helpful in getting my storage unit set up and their prices were reasonable. Thats where the good ended.Then, after my month was up, in the hassle of moving into my new place I left the storage unit keys at my boyfriends house and forgot about them. The next month I received one missed call from a 352 number I didnt know, but no message. Figured it was a wrong number. Then the 2nd month I noticed there was a missed call from a 352 number and a message. I called back and they informed me I now owed them lots of money.I shouldnt have forgotten about the keys, but they should have left me a message that first month, and I would had dealt with it then and paid half as much ($50 instead of $100). If they hadnt reached me until the 3rd month I would have owed $150. Its just bad business practice on their part to not leave messages.Moral of the story: Be careful dealing with them and be sure you dont forget to turn your keys in ! Cause they sure wont remind you.

I made a reservation through sparefoot. I called the day before to see if i could view the spot early and come to find out it had been rented. Its ok, because i found a cheaper spot in a better location anyway.

AWESOME value, conditions, and service. After being freaked out by a different location, we were able to snag a unit at Interstate Mini Storage - by reserving over the phone (something other locations would not do)! The place is super clean, the units solid, and management is very helpful.

Pricing on par with the area - so a little high for climate controlled, but nice helpful staff, clean units, functional gate/equipment and a rather secure storage facility.

I cant thank the staff at Interstate enough for going above and beyond in helping me over Memorial Day weekend. My daughter was moving out of an apartment and we needed to put her belongings in storage. We rented the unit weeks ago for a late May start date however my daughter never took possession of the unit prior to needing to move in. We stopped by on Sunday of Memorial Day weekend to see that the place was closed on Sundays and would be closed on MEMORIAL DAY!!! We called the emergency number and someone picked up and although they were off Monday they promised to meet us Monday at 10am. This woman was so nice and caring to help. You just dont find service like this anymore. We have rentedt here 3 times in the past and highly recommend them for your storage needs. The place is clean and as I said, the service is excellent!!!

Great company. I arrived one day in early June to store a medium-sized moving truck--having drove in from New Orleans without calling them ahead of time--full of my stuff to store for summer ahead of the fall semester at UF. I was looking to save a bucks on a unit that wasnt climate-controlled. They didnt have the type of unit that I sought available but were generously able to upgrade me to an air conditioned unit of the same size for the price of the former. The units are very clean; the facility is very secure; the staff are honest and kind; there are small perks like a dolly the office can load out to assist moves. I returned in August to move my stuff out after signing a lease on a house in Gainesville. I asked if they had recommendations for moving companies to transport a handful of items that I couldnt fit into my car. They showed me a card for Sunbelt Moving, who keep their trucks at Interstate Mini Storage, for an estimate and prospective times. That same day Marty from Sunbelt Moving spoke with me on the phone and later met me at my storage unit and gave me a (very good) estimate on the large items I needed professionals to handle. However, because Sunbelt Moving wasnt able to schedule me until a couple days later, Marty spoke with the manager on duty of Interstate Mini Storage whom gave me an extension (my payment for the next month would have been due the following day) until Sunbelt Moving was able to perform the move. So not only is Interstate Mini Storage a company I would recommend, but they make a good team in informal partnership with Sunbelt Moving if you have pieces you need help transporting.
