Went to Jerry’s after the local Toyota dealer diagnosed the non working air conditioner in my 2008 Highlander as a leaking evaporator core. This was a major repair as it required the entire dashboard to be removed. Jerry and Vinny were extremely helpful, courteous and professional. The technician who did the work must have done a good job as 3 months later everything is working great! Big bonus was that the total cost was several hundred dollars less than the dealer and even ended up being a bit less than what Jerry originally quoted me. Highly recommend!

We left Orlando pulling our travel trailer heading out west when I noticed a misfire and decided to stop.We pulled off of I75 at the Gainesville exit and headed to the Ford dealership. Too busy... Then I stopped at an autoparts store and asked who they would recommend. After paying a known brake specialty shop big $s and three attempts the problem still was not corrected. The crew at Jerrys fixed it right the first time for a lot less $s. The tune up was great and she now purrs like a kitten.

I have used Jerry’s A/C for two decades. They originally rebuilt the transmission on my 1989 Silverado, in 1994. I pull my horse trailer 80% of the time. They did a fantastic job. Here it is 2021, my truck still runs great! They have kept my truck running like it was new all this time, and it now has 371k miles on it. Dependable, excellent service, great bunch of guys from the top all the way to the porter. Most recently had a tune up, I can’t believe it has the power it has. They are professional, remember their customers, and willing to do the job right.

My first experience was amazing and i dont give praise where its not due. The second time Jerry was extremely accomidating. I guess while Jerry was on vacation his son was running things. While i never had a problem with him before he ticked me off Because he handed the phone off to a woman while I was explaining how theres a fuel leak now that wasnt there before I had it serviced. I realize its an old vehicle but Ive already sunk 5000 into it and Id like it to at least be running as good as it did when I took it in. Im sure when Jerry gets back and reads this Ill get a phone call thanks Jerry

These guys are great. They are so professional. They took really good care of my 2003 Buick LeSabre a.k.a Betty White, they even provided last minute detailing scrubbing that car from top to bottom. 😳 They even itemized future things for me to work on, so that i can get my girl back on the road again. Plus Mr. Jerry personally contacted me a few days later to make sure that all was well with her.

I needed my a/c fixed and they had me leave my car and loaned me a company truck in the meantime. After several days, they said my car was fixed but that my warranty company would only pay part of the cost, and I had to come up with the balance. I drove my car to work and back home ONCE before the a/c was no longer working again. They sent me a text survey to see if I was satisfied with the service and I explained the a/c was not working. I still haven’t heard back from them. That was 3 weeks ago.

I generally do most repairs myself but from time to time I cant due to the nature of the job. Since I have found most local shops have failed on there performance, I went by work of mouth and tried Jerrys AC. He did not let me down. They stayed true to the appt date, were able to do the axle repair the same day and the final price was within range and reasonable. I noticed little things like placing floor mat protectors inside vehicle, fully stocked envolopes for night drop and keyring info tag with Jerrys AC on it. One might think those things mean nothing but all together it shows me what type of company you are dealing with. The next time I need someone else to do a repair for me, it will be them .

They were very kind from the get go. And something you don’t often see, they got right to work. It was hot. Our AC was hotter. We picked up our Sorento with ice hanging from the vents. They even cleaned and sanitized the inside. We were VERY PLEASED and will return in future if our car ever needs help. We like to find a mechanic and stick with them. With Jerry’s we’ve found just that.

I have some unusual cars. None of them are stock & so the AC has to be custom. Much of the initial work I do myself, but all the tricky stuff I leave to Jerry & his guys because I know that theyll get it all up & running.

On our drive up to UF for graduation my a/c stopped working. I called Jerry’s after finding the business online and he told me to bring it in the next morning. He was able to diagnose the problem within a couple of hours and replaced the compressor by the end of the day. Easily the most pleasant and efficient auto service Ive ever had. Jerrys A/C took my car in immediately. My 2014 GMC Sierra needed an AC conpressor replaced. The dealership quoted me $1500 and the part would take a few weeks to come in. I was referred by a friend to try Jerrys. I called. Jerry picked up the phone himself. He quoted me over the phone for $900 and the part was in stock. He could have taken me that day. I scheduled it for the next day. He was friendly and professional when i dropped it off. It was done by the afternoon. No surprise calls about increased costs. The quote never changed. The best decision i made. I’ll be going to him for now on.

I took my wifes vehicle in for AC repair. They were able fix it in a timely fashion. However the kicker for me is that the owners son was able and willing to work on my sons four wheeler. He fixed the issues with it and showed me what I needed to do. Im no machanic. So this helped tremendously cause I would have had to taken it to Ocala.

I paid $118 to get an AC inspection and estimate. They said I needed to get a new evaporator core and estimated the repairs at $1400. Decided to get a second opinion. AC system needed a new seal and the repairs were less than $100. Felt a little taken advantage of as I value trust very much with these types of services.

AmaZing service, got a quote from Midas for about 1.4K for my AC that they fixed two years prior. jerry’s took a look at my car, saw that there was no need to replace some parts and got my running for almost half the price!!! Couldn’t be happier, looking forward to doing all my maintenance and repairs here.

I paid $185 for a “diagnostic” and towing, and upon paying for my vehicle, the person that relinquished it to me told me that i simply needed a transmission but couldn’t provide a list of codes that the vehicle was also showing. I asked him if I could have a list of everything fully wrong with the truck if I paid a full $185, and his response was “theres no list”. Basically there shouldve been no reason to pay then. Only thing I should have been responsible for is towing if they can’t even hand over the diagnosis that I paid for.Only giving it two stars because they took my money efficiently, at least.

My car’s A/C wasn’t working so it was recommended I go to Jerry’s A/C and Auto Shop. After parking and checking in, I noticed flames coming from the driver side wheel area. Jerry took charge, put out the fire, helped me with my insurance company, got me a rental car and even took me to get the rental.The car was fixed in no time. Motorhome owners can relax. Getting chassis work on your RV has been a complete hassle for me. RV dealerships generally will not do chassis work and finding someone who does is a chore. Recently, I found myself needing new tires and brakes on my Class A Fleetwood Bounder. I received a quote for new tires and a brake job from a very reputable local company. They replaced the tires and realized that they did not have the expertise and equipment needed to do the brake job on my motorhome. David, my tire guy was good enough to make some calls and recommended that I use Jerry’s A/C. He said they were qualified, equipped and capable of doing the work I required. I had recently been given a similar recommendation to use Jerry’s for issues with my Ford truck from Danny with Sound Depot and Performance.I had the vehicle towed to Jerry’s and was surprised to find that the quote he gave me was almost exactly that of the first place. Truthfully, I was expecting a lot more. They did the brake job and I asked them to replace the shocks at the same time. They checked hydraulic levels on my jacks, found a leaking radiator hose and multiple cracks in my antifreeze reservoir which I had them replace along with flushing the radiator. In addition, I had them do a pure synthetic oil change. I am not sure what other work they did other than those items I mention, and this is not hyperbole, the motor on that motorhome has never ran so smooth and quietly for the entire seven years that I have owned the vehicle. Of course, the with the new tires and shocks, it handled terrific.I will add that working with Jerry, Vinnie and the rest of the crew at Jerry’s A/C was a pleasure. They were always honest, courteous, and receptive to my needs. I believe “Professional” is the word I’m searching for here. There were never any billing surprises as I was kept abreast of any unexpected problems before they were dealt with. While my motorhome was being attended to, I had a broken turn signal and inoperable A/C in my Ford F-150 repaired. I had been ignoring these issues for some time. I will not ignore any more mechanical issues in the future. Thanks to Jerry’s A/C Service, I now feel like I have someplace to go that I can trust and depend on. They did wonderful work and I give them a well-deserved “Five Stars”!

Had an issues with my A/C on my 20 year old truck. Took it to Jerry’s cause I normally take it to ford but it was 3 weeks to see their A/C tech. I can tell you now that if I ever have issues I’m taking it right to him. He was very professional and he got right on the fix. Got my truck back in two days and the A/C is blowing ice cold!

Best shop in town. Very professional, knowledgeable and hinest. They have your vehicle in and out as fast as it can be done. Pricing is very reasonable and pride is taken in their work. Either Jerry or Vinny is checking back in to check on the vehicle days and even weeks after the service has been provided. Its a real family owned shop that handles business the right way. Ive been bringing my vehicles to their shop for years now and will not take them anywhere else.

My dad lives out of town and when I come in to have work done they almost expect at this point to talk to him on the phone before doing anything. Jerry and his guys did a fantastic job on my 2012 Ford Fusion. I had it towed to them thiking it was an alternator issue. Jerry and his team checked it out and informed me that it was not the alternator. They could have easily replaced it and charged me instead they took time to troubleshoot other things that could be causing the problems I was having with the car. They took time to address all my concerns and recommended some future maintenance that will be needed without pressuring me to do them right now. A couple months ago I had Jerrys team replace all 4 brake pads on my suburban. They did a great job! No residual squeaks or other noises from the new pads. I will absolutely utilize Jerrys shop again.

Did a great job on replacing my engine with another one. Fixing my ecm wires that had melted to my headers. And were exceptionally efficient and friendly even when I had a terrible attitude with them. I apologize Jerry’s for my behavior. I can assure you I will be coming back if I have any other issues thanks to you guys being understanding and fair even when I was in the wrong.

They gave me a better estimate for replacing evaporator core and oil pan, compare to some others. I told them I need the car on Monday. They said ok maybe on Tuesday it will be ready. But I got my car on Wednesday. They fixed it but the AC is whistling and my signals does not work properly anymore. There was also a piece missing when I got the car back, the defrost thing under the windshield. I didn’t know until I saw it. They didn’t even mention it to me before I realize it after picking up the car. It’s $100 piece, the cheapest used online. I asked refund for that piece but they said it was broken already. They said we called you to inform. I think they did, but they didn’t leave any voice messages. I usually don’t return miss calls because all the scam calls. I don’t know it was Broken, but at least it was not shattered in small pieces like I saw. Next time I will look another repair shop in Gainesville.

I had some AC work done here on my Miata. It ended up being a fairly pricey fix, but Jerry gave me a fair price (I shopped around to be sure) and the work was done quickly. The AC works like a dream now and I couldnt stand to not have it as the Summer heat approaches.

They did a great job repairing my A/C. Always upfront about whats needed, and the install looks and works great. Great place to take your classic ride or hotrod in for work.

Jerrys AC thoroughly helped my buddy get his engine replaced. Even with an incident that happened and what not, after i found out the engine wasnt working because the ecm harness was rubbing the header, they were quick to help this man get a tow truck free of charge and they spliced the old harness free. Great job and i would reccomend jerrys ac 100% great people!

Even when I couldn’t make it to the shop, Jerry and has his crew took in my car and kept it in good hands for the weekend until Monday morning to when my car felt brand new again with a whole new starter. It was a great value compared to other companies that were tying to charge over $500 more and I will definitely be returning here should my car need more work done.

I love Jerrys!! My husband recommended them to me about 2 years ago as I keep up with all of my own vehicles maintenance. Service is always EXCELLENT! Very accommodating for spur of the moment fixes. I commute from Keystone Heights to Gainesville every day so I need my vehicles to be well maintained. Im always treated fairly, honestly and NEVER talked down to because I am a woman. I try to bring the men in sandwiches and lunch on occasion just to say thank you!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND to anyone who needs an honest organization!! Keep up the good work Jerry and Vinnie!

They took very good care of my rather customized Suburban. We talked about some changes I might consider to increase cooling efficiency on the AC condenser.I would definitely use their shop in the future!

Very satisfied with my experience. I called and was able to get an appointment the very next morning to have my AC checked/repaired. Vinnie made sure to inform me exactly what was being done and how much the visit would cost before proceeding with the repair. Reasonably priced and was out of there in about an hour and half. Loved the two very well behaved pooches roaming the place and even scored a key chain with an adorable little tape measure, light and bottle opener! Will return and highly recommend. Thank you!!!

Went here a few months ago after the Honda dealership gave me a ridiculous quote for some repairs. Took a few days to get the part (expected) but I was in and out the same day once it got there. The guys were awesome and their waiting room was a pleasant place to spend a morning. coffee and donuts! Will definitely go back when my dinosaur Honda craps out again.

I always have the best service when I go to Jerrys with my vehicle. They are friendly and very helpful. Always takes the time to check my car. Sometimes if it is late when I take it in and there is something major wrong they ask if I can bring it back or leave it. I would not take my car anywhere else. They are EXCELLENT. Please try them and you will see what I am talking about. Price is the best in town.
