Ray is the best and knows his business! He is very professional and you get the feeling he has the customers interest at heart ! The quick response to service call was excellent!

Technician had an excellent attitude, and helped us figure out that our 10 year old system still had warranty coverage. They had our AC up and running during the monster heat of the Texas summer. You earned lifetime customers!

They came several times and this is how they left my AC unit. I am still having the same problem I had on the original call. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

They were out twice and never were able to fix my issue. So I called in another company and they fixed it the next day. Ray had a terrible attitude, as if I was a waste of time and could have cared less about my problem. Never climbed in attic but told me I needed insulation... That is not the case.

The technician can to my home and pictured my coil. Then going to throw his hands up and say I cant touch your ac unit. Now. He trying sell me a new one. Had a second opinion. From a another company to corfi it..

Ray took the time to clearly explain the problem I was having, and then quickly resolved it. He was also kind enough to discuss in detail some of the potential issues that my older A.C. system might encounter in the years to come. Great guys and would happily have them back to help again.

Awesome company and friendly technicians. The dispatcher even gave me regular text updates throughout the day letting me know my place in line. The guys had a busy day with lots of customers scheduled ahead of me for the day, but you’d never know it. They were as friendly as could be and went right to work diagnosing my problem. Turns out I just needed a Freon charge. I will definitely recommend this company to friends and family and use them again the next time the need arises.

This company came to my home and purposely, broke my A/C Coil, making all the freon in my Unit leak out !!!! Then, changed me to refill the Freon! Now, the insurance sent them again, and they are telling me some crazy price to repair what is broken . This company is a terrible! Don’t not use them

This is the most honest and reliable contractor I have ever dealt with and they provide excellent customer service with integrity!

I would NOT recommend this place. My warranty company sent them to my house to repair the A/C. After four visits my A/C still wasnt working properly.The tech didnt have any idea what he was doing. On the fourth visit the supervisor, Raymond, came with the tech. I noticed his nasty attitude as soon as I open the door. After fumbling around for about an hour they claimed the problem was fixed. I knew it wasnt. My A/C wasnt performing close to the level it was before my problems started. Raymond tried to tell me 83 degrees downstairs and 94 degrees upstairs is normal. Really!!! At this point I just wanted them out of my house.I call the warranty company to tell them after multiple attempts Affordable Heat and Air was not able to fix the problem. I also told them NOT to send these people back to my house. A second company come in and was able to diagnose the problem in less than ten minutes. The parts were ordered and install. My house is cool again...On a side note, the new company asked me who was here before. I told him AHA. He said his company keeps getting calls to clean up their mess.

HOME OWNERS BEWARE! Affordable Heat and Air LLC will NOT fix your AC and will collect your home warranty service fee leaving you with a broken AC and a hole in your wallet!Affordable Heat and Air (AHA) works as a contractor for my home warranty company, American Home Shield (AHS). I made a service request due to my AC tripping the breaker and shutting off. When AHA arrived for the first visit they simply flipped the breaker back on and said it was fixed. 1 week later when I called AHS to report that my AC was out again they sent a recall for AHA to come back. AHA came back and told me that my outdoor breaker was most likely bad and rerouted my condenser to my main panel and recommended that I downgrade my 40A breaker to a 30A breaker per the manufacturers recommendation (makes sense). Since this wasnt covered as part of my home warranty I had to take care of this expense on my own out of my own pocket. Low and behold, one week later my AC is now tripping the breaker to my indoor panel (apparently the breaker wasnt the problem...). When AHS sent a service recall AHA denied it because they claimed the problem was an un-serviceable part (the breaker - which I fixed and still continued to trip) and they refused to come out until another service order was submitted ($75). Apparently companies can now refuse to do the work and collect payment for services they never rendered. Misty the receptionist at AHA was very kind and understanding, but couldnt do anything to help due to working for a bunch of thieves.

Do not waste your time with these people. The owner misses appointments and did not repair my ac leak into overflow drain pan after 4 visits. They also forgot to reattach the drain pan pipe and as a result, water leaked all over my ceiling. I called another company after his last visit and they had my issues resolved.

These are the people to call when you need AC service. Ray showed up the same day I called, was knowledgeable, fully inspected the system, and didnt try to rip me off. I highly recommend doing business with this company!

My home warranty company called AMERICAN HOME PROTECT sent Ray from AFFORDABLE HEATING AND AIR to fix my AC in May. My AC was running but not cooling off the house in the afternoon. When he arrived the first thing he did was collect his service fee of $65. He was clearly in a hurry, didnt look at the part of the unit inside my home and spent 5 minutes installing a capacitor and told me this is a common fix. I asked for a receipt but Ray said that he does not do that part of the transaction. A few weeks later, now June, my AC is still not cooling the house very well but nonetheless, still running so I called the warranty company and alas, they sent Ray back for a SECOND time. This time he goes in the attic and tells me my air handler is installed incorrectly and that it probably will not be covered on my warranty. He then turns on my AC, goes outside, uses my hose and sprays water into the unit. Sparks started coming out of the breaker and the unit siezed up and quit working altogether. He then leaves without another word. He lied to my warranty company and charged me $300 plus $65 service fee to NOT FIX AND THEN ACTUALLY BREAK MY AIR CONDITIONER! My warranty company says its my word against his. He is a CON ARTIST and had no intention of actually fixing my AC. He is in buisness to milk warranty companies and nickle and dime you to death. STAY CLEAR of this company! There are many more reputable heating and air repair companies in Gainesville to choose from.

HORRIBLE!!!! Do not use this company, the owner Ray was EXTREMLY RUDE and NON caring and BAD attitude. They came to service our A/C (unclogged a pipe in the A/C unit which caused the pipe downstairs in the master bathroom underneath the sink to leak all over onto floor and on all my personal items.I called immediately to explain what happened within 3mins and ask if the tech could come back out and ray said not my problem call a plumber and I said maybe you dont understand what just happened we didnt have this issue before the tech came and he said you should of called a plumber and argued with both me and my husband. He was RUDE and heartless!
