I scheduled a pool lane for this morning at 5am. Showed up at 4:55 to try and get ready to give me a full hour in the pool (staff said this is normal), but the doors were still locked and the lights were off. I had the patience to wait for a half hour before I left. I scheduled a time with a person over the phone during normal posted business hours and no one ever showed up to open the building. I have patience for a lot, but don’t steal 1:30 hours of sleep from me. This was my first and only visit.

Really enjoy coming here! It’s surprisingly not super crowded. I can always use any equipment I want. The classes are tough but a great workout if that’s your thing! It’s close to my house which is a plus. Ignore the bad reviews, it’s a gym that functions like a gym should 🤷‍♀️

I am so disappointed with ClubWorx! I was excited to get back to exercising after getting my vaccine, but when I went, I found that only a handful of people were wearing masks, and of those, many were wearing them incorrectly, including those in the kids center. With the increase in covid numbers and the lack of mask wearing, I decided I did not feel safe going or bringing my kids until the numbers lowered again, so I called to place my membership on hold as they allowed during the initial covid time. I was informed by Holly that they require a doctors note that explains Im immunocompromised or a similar reason to not be able to work out at this time, which will be reviewed by corporate who could decide my reason doesnt qualify. So instead of trying to have a safe place for all of us, or allowing those of us who are uncomfortable with the current way things are going to be able to put things on hold, they are requiring what they consider an acceptable doctors note, I guess I really dont feel like dying isnt a good enough reason!

Me and my friend went up there (we are minors) and they told her she was not able to wear her swim suit because it was not “family friendly”. It was a regular bikini and there were others that here who were flatter and able to swim. this is very disappointing considering she is a minor and was sexualized by the staff.

Couldnt be bothered to open the door for their regular business hours on time, and the people who had scheduled appointments never got a call explaining or apologizing. Fortunately, this was during the free trial period for us, so theyll never get our money. Took our business to Rex instead. Interestingly, the price for membership includes classes unlike here AND no enrollment fee. They answered the phone on first call, answered all questions and scheduled a walk through/test visit for the same day, which was not so easy at this place. I think this frustrating morning was for the best. Look elsewhere.

I had left a very long review here on a different account yesterday after being made incredibly uncomfortable by the staff, it has disappeared so i have made another review here just so i can make it clear so that everybody is warned before coming here and being humiliated for their body. if you look through some reviews, you will find similar stories and no replies. you can also notice that the comments they have replied to have been responded by gaslighting instead of an actual solution. absolutely ridiculous.

Please don’t go there if you’re black or non-white. This is the rudeness place ever. My husband and I walked in today with intentions on getting a membership and were met with awkward stares from the staff and the members at this gym. The lady at the front desk kindly explained to us that the membership had several options and took our temperature then instructed us to talk to Candace ( OMG) this lady was very rude. I stopped by her desk and stood in the hallway and requested more info and did not receive any feedback from her. PLEASE DON’T GO HERE!!

They have two pools which is good during the summer. The gym has some good trainers, the problem comes when you want to swim laps or your child is taking swim lessons right before the water aerobics classes. If their class starts at 9:30, at 9 they are climbing in the pool while lessons are going on and people are swimming laps. they start taking down the lane dividers and start getting in the pool and standing in the lanes so people cant swim. The managers and the owner refuses to do anything about it. If you want somewhere kid friendly. Go somewhere else. For some reason the water aerobics class can run people out of the pool anytime they want. They dont allow the swim team or any other pool activity to jump in and take over the previous time. Very poor customer service.

My family has been going to ClubWorx for about 2 1/2 years. We love it. Although the parking lot looks very crowded sometimes, its very roomy inside. Ive always been able to find a treadmill or elliptical available. My 13 year old is old enough to use the cardio equipment on the deck, and my 17 year old likes to run around the track outside and use the weights inside. Its a perfect facility for a variety of fitness interests. I dont typically take classes, but there are tons to choose from! I would recommend ClubWorx to anyone!

I signed up Yesterday Feb 10th.. My first day was the 11th & I’ve NEVER had as much support in my life. Jackie & her boss were AWESOME from the time I stepped foot in the door. I’m well over weight right now, but just seeing how nice these guys are motivates me to keep coming back! They walked me to my class, introduced me to the instructor & invited me back the next day for another workout. WOW! The amount of support is so great. I love this place!!

This location is great! All the staff is excellent and helpful. Locker Rooms are very clean. Also all the gym equipment works. I’ve been a member for over a year and never been disappointed. They get A++++++++

I enjoy all your staff and teachers. They are friendly and very professional.The only suggestion I would have is to initiate better maintenance of the womens locker room. It can sometimes be dirty and the floors and counters are always wet. The showers need better cleaning, too.I can only imagine what a task it is to do this. Im sure its very difficult to maintain a level of cleanliness.I do appreciate all you do.Its just my suggestion.Thank You!

The internet (or lack of a QUALITY connection) is my only gripe with this place. The layout is good but for the love of god, it’s 2018 and I’ve been going to this gym since it opened. How is it that in 10+ years of services, no one has figured out how to install a proper Router?

I have been coming here off and on for over 15 years. The current management is so much better than the previous owners. I let my membership lapse and before renewing, I compared all other area gyms just to make sure this was my best option. Hands down, if you want variety Clubworx has more to offer than any other gym in FV or HS. When I came back in and renewed, I felt really welcome. Glad to be back!

Hands down the best gym in Fuquay for parents with kids. They have an indoor pool, childcare, a great little snack bar and an awesome spin class. I highly recommend you check them out - having been a member of the YMCA of the Triangle and been a visitor at UNC Wellness I can confidently say that Club Worx matches or exceeds them in every metric.

Went there yesterday to take a tour and the lady was so rude. I told her I wanted a tour and she just asked what membership option I was looking for. I told her I didnt know the options. She then explained the options and said have a good day. No tour.I went there primarily to find a place to play volleyball but that is separate.

We have really enjoyed the gym and my kids LOVE the childcare center. All the teachers for the classes havebeen so full of energy. They have really made it fun to work out.

Wonderful facilities and classes. however, the membership services are lacking. only sometimes are new members greeted warmly and often they are very busy. not many options in the area, but despite the joining process, i have been highly impressed.

Not my personal experience, I send my elderly mother to this gym for once a week very light training. The personal trainer rarely pays her any attention, preferring to text and play on her phone. I understand she is older and it isnt exciting to help her train, but you have a job. In addition, they are very loose with their personal, cash payment records/receipts. Not recommended place.

The pool is all I use. Which is difficult enough. The Front Desk is unfriendly. They allow boys in the womens locker room even though there is a sign. You try to get help from the front desk to remedy the situation but that doesnt work. Who else sneaks in? Front desk needs people skills. Im just biding my time till I move in a couple months. I want to go somewhere that I am respected.

Probably by far one of the worse places that I ever been to to swim! My friend who had a membership to this place invited me to swim with her ( also keep in mind that I am a African American female who is plus sized. And my friend is white, but she is very developed. ) the costumers over at the place made me felt soo uncomfortable.. there was unpleasant stares coming my way, and they were just so disrespectful. Not only 15 minutes from being at the place me and my friend gotten an complaint that was totally uneeded and petty claiming that we were taking inappropriate photos of one another (( basically trying to say we were opposing child pornography) and claiming that we were posing “ inappropriately “ there’s so many girls who go to my school who goes over there and take pictures towards one another. But the difference was that they are petite girls. But they never get a complaint. But it’s an issue when girls with meat on their body to take a flick. On top of that we were trying so hard to adjust our selfs so we won’t show as much because it was already bad we were getting rude stares from even walking into the place. We even went to the manager about it, and she was nothing but rude towards us. It’s sad that the teens working at club worxs are more help and nicer than the authority’s who can’t even be civil or lenient. So if I were any of you guys who are reading this bad review, I suggest you to take your money somewhere else!! This so called “ family friendly” place is not so family friendly at all. That place is nothing but full of rude conservative petty adults!!! Your welcome.

Not a fan. There gym is nice but I moved away to far so I went in to cancel. I was out of contract and they paid me for an additional month because it was after a deadline for there payroll so I got charge another $55 for a gym membership I hadnt used in month anyways. Another bs rule for them to take more money.

I have had so many issues with billing with this company. They are ridiculous when it comes to cancelling membership. I moved away on 5/2, tried to cancel my membership via phone? Not allowed. Must write letter and send. Got charged in the beginning of May. Then, tried to cancel again in June, this time via fax, which the customer service rep said would be fine. Got told I would still be c harged for June even though I wasnt using their gym, well fine - just cancel it from here on out. Figured it was all fixed and done...NOPE, just got charged for July. Sent a letter and filed a dispute with my credit card company, but the amount of stress I have been through just to cancel a gym membership is outrageous. I would NEVER recommend this gym to my friends and family now, even though I used to go through often and use their equipment and pool. Also its pretty annoying that if you are already paying close to $70 a month for a family membership that doesnt include your kids getting to use the pool plus childcare is extra. I am SO happy that where we moved to has a Y nearby which is much more user friendly.

Small gym with a large basketball court. O2 had better equipment that was more useful. The cardio equipment was good. Large locker rooms that are clean and large showers.

Wow! This is a beautiful state of the art facility. Indoor and outdoor pools, yoga and cycle studios, indoor basketball court, full gym with LOTS of equipment, childcare, sauna, juicebar, etc. It costs approx. $55/mth but has excellent ammenities. Membership fee is high at $150 so just wait for a sale.

Great facility with everything youre looking for. Very clean. Friendly staff. Minimum number of meat head doushebags. Annd they reward long time patrons with discount rates...you cant find that anywhere these days.

Horrible customer service. First time in the gym and I asked to speak to someone about membership options. The girl at the front desk gave me a form to fill out and sat me down at a table. I waited 20 minutes and did not get assisted. I watched the person doing membership plans do paperwork and eat a salad. She saw me waiting on her. I ended up walking out. Poor customer service and the didnt even have my money yet.

I love this club! Perfect fitness facility for families! Very comfortable atmosphere and so many programs for kids & adults!

After recently moving to Fuquay-Varina, my family has been searching for a gym to join. Hearing positive recommendations from friends, I decided to check it out. I was warmly greeted and immediately assisted by the front desk. They were extremely busy, but I was introduced to a membership counselor after only a few minutes. Hollie did a great job on a very busy day showing me around the facility and answering detailed questions about special needs issues with our families. We were very pleased with the prices and services and decided to join. The only thing that I wish could be different is that the only access to the pool is via the locker rooms, meaning that on a Saturday, the mens locker room is grand central station with tons of kids going through.

Clubworx has the best employees! From Moni, Bella & Candace at the front desk to the amazing instructors: Heidi, Beverly and the rest! Ive also made many friends while working out there (mostly during my lunch hour). People are generally courteous and friendly!

Nothing personal about the gym except for their financial department. I moved out of town for work and realized I didnt need that membership. Call to cancel, Im told I have to do this in person. Six months later, begging to have this done I ended up closing my bank account and opened a new one. They are very unreasonable, and the fact that they checked thier logs and saw I havent been in for six months. At this point I consider this stealing.

I have been going to Crossfit side of the gym (Crossfit Pathway) for almost 3 years and have enjoyed my experience with ClubWorx. You get so much when you get a membership with ClubWorx and Pathway. Not only do I get a Crossfit gym that has all the best equipment and coaches, but I get all the inside equipment, locker rooms, showers, indoor and outdoor pool, basketball court, and best of all childcare center that my daughter loves. There are a lot of other things that make this gym great! Check it out. The family rates are very good for the Crossfit gym as well.

I agree with the terrible customer service reviews. When I signed up, I brought my husbands military ID for the discount they offered. They accepted it, gave me the discount, and I signed the contract but one week later, they called back stating they needed MY military ID. I explained that I never had one as we never lived on base and since I had already signed the contract, it shouldnt matter....that wasnt acceptable and the manager said they would cancel my contract if I didnt provide the ID I explained I didnt have. I had to provide proof that I was married to my husband via life insurance to keep the contract! I also never received the sessions with the trainer that was promised despite requesting several times. I did continue to go for my one year since I was already signed up but was also told they could up my fees at any time since I wasnt a military member....never mind that Im a military spouse. So Im getting out before they increase my fees.

Horrible wouldn’t even let a high schooler in petty paid thousands and they don’t care about their customers. Find a different gym.

Staff is rude and openly makes rude comments about the size of their members. There are always little crossfit type classes going on in the weight section of the gym even though there is an affiliated crossfit gym right next door. They block the weight machines and take all of the lighter dumbells from the free weight section. We spoke with the staff about this and we were told that the people taking the classes pay extra money to take these classes so they are given priority over regular members. Whats the point in us regular members staying if we cant work out....not to mention the fact that we cant go there without being insulted by the staff.

I have called three times for a membership quote. Each time I was put on hold or told to call back. The third time I was told that I needed to come in and talk to a staff member in person. I drove by there and was told that the only person who can give pricing works 1pm to 5pm. How does a business stay open if it is so hard to get their services.

ClubWorx is a very good gym and I have enjoyed my membership there for a very long time. I would have rated excellent if it was not for their accounting practices. Every time I have a card expire that is used for my membership it takes several months to get it in to the system. Each and every time I am accessed late fees and have to fight to get them credited. So make sure to save your paper work or they will argue that you did not change it and will not credit them back. This has happened to me for the fourth time now.My recommendation is to scrap the current system and institute a new system. This one has been broken for the ten years that I have been a member.

Sick of this place and their screw you attitude towards their clients. If you can get a machine, the personal trainers will kick you off because they suddenly have an unlisted class. With the bonus of people swearing as loud as they can beside the kids club. Oh and if you ask for a manager, THEY LEAVE the building to avoid taking to you!!

From ancient gym equipment to terrible customer service, everything was horrible. Take your money elsewhere.
