Clean and well laid out. If you are just getting into fitness or have some experience with workouts they will likely have most of the equipment you want. However, if you go during a busy for there will be a line for it.

Solid all-around fitness center. Really good for cardio (lots of machines) and sufficient for basic resistance training. Hardcore weigh-lifters might want to find a gym more suited to weight-training since this place only has smith-rack machines (no barbell bench presses; though it does have loose benches for dumb-bells). Otherwise I dig the casual vibe, it is CLEAN, and the staff are friendly.

My son whos 12 cant sit in the lobby to do his homework while I work out because they say hes not a member, and is to young to sit in a lobby. Which makes no sense cause Im a member. My son has more maturity in him then some of the clowns that walk in there, joke around and use the equipment wrong. When I asked to provide policy on this, they couldnt provide. As a single full time parent this is not fair. For anyone in my shoes, Golds Gym in Fuquay has a great deal on memberships and has a kids club that stays open till 8pm and is also a 24 hour gym now. They also will allow your kids to workout with you at age 12 along with training programs. Alot more weights and selection to choose from for your workouts as well. I thought Planet Fitness claims its a judgement free zone, well you passed judgement on my son when we walked in the door and you have lost my membership and will be cancelling.

The bros dont like this place because there are no free weights and bars. Anything else that you could ever need is here with generally plenty of room to do your own thing. Great price for plenty of equipment.

I like that I can work out without a mask. Everything is being well cleaned by the staff. I wish individual members would clean more but I do see the staff cleaning.You do have a lot for the price which is why I joined in the first place.

I love the new protocols that they have put into place because of COVID. I think they are doing an awesome job given the circumstances. I like that they are always going around cleaning the machines and vacuuming when Im in there, it really shows that they are trying to keep the place clean. I feel very comfortable when Im working out in there. If someone is around there not wearing a mask, they will go up to the person and address this and make sure they have a face covering on. I love this gym!! I hope we do not go back on restrictions because I really enjoy working out here.

I like this gym a lot. Its always clean and tidy. Staff are always friendly and helpful. I had a problem with my account and they were very thorough on what I need to do to resolve it. I love having the black card so i can invite friends to workout with my. Now ill admit....My biggest motivation to workout is the massage chairs after!

Recently joined this gym and I have to say....I love it! I have never joined a gym in my life and I was super nervous. I wish I would have joined years ago! I actually look forward to the atmosphere! Very clean and great staff.

This location in FV is always clean and the staff is great. No complaints for that ever. We just get annoyed at other members who dont know how to use the circuit training and just jump in and mess up the rotation!

I am so grateful for a gym that is affordable enough that I can go with friends. I love the Black Pass where I am able to invite a workout buddy helping me be more accountable but not requiring the same person every time. I am grateful for the down to earth people there both staff and patrons. I am always impressed with the cleanliness and hard work that everyone puts in keeping it very clean. (COVID-19-era review) Of all the Planet Fitness in the Triangle Ive been to, this is the best! It is newer than others in the area though, but the equipment is well-maintained and more diverse than other locations. The staff are friendly and helpful. They are really monitoring gym-goers to make sure they are wearing masks and sterilizing behind themselves. I really appreciate their work to keep people safe while they want to stay healthy!

I told the guy at the desk. Pretty sure it will stay the same. Three stars now... Fit it and youll get five.Clean but the showers still are luke warm. I didnt bother telling the desk people because it never helps. Would have given four or five stars but cant comfortably use the shower.

This is a well equipped gym for the casual lifter and folks looking for cardio. The staff does a good job of keeping the equipment clean and in good order.

This gym is completely unprofessional. The manager acts like a child & will threaten to call cops on MEMBERS of the gym who are taking “too long”. I would NOT recommend this gym to ANY POC because it’s clear where they stand. People pay good money to work out & shouldn’t have to move from station to station just because a WHITE person wants to work out where they are. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

I would say a good 30+ treadmills, super spacious, an equipment for any exercise you can think off, free weights, and giant life fitness pf 360 machine with rubber band available. Its the biggest planet fitness Ive seen. Just opened too. So everything is new!

I love working out here but every time I try to do the 30 minute workout station people just come in and start sing the machines individually. Sucks!

Good gym. Clean ang organized. Coronavirus has kept people away so it remains to be seen about wait time on equipment when its back to normal.

I really like that PF has shown their concern over COVID-19 but also realizes at some point life has to go on. I appreciate the crowd meter addition to the app so I can plan my times to when the gym is less crowded. Also I like the added disinfectant spray and hand sanitizer being available. I’m all about personal accountability so I understand that everyone is responsible for spraying down their own equipment, that’s how PF keeps their memberships affordable. I have really missed the black card lounge so I’m happy I can now enjoy a massage and/or tanning session after my workout.

My husband canceled his membership in person at this location on September 27, 2020. Today on October 1, 2020 we were charged $40 for the renewal fee. I have called the planet fitness number listed multiple times just trying to get past the busy signal tone it will give you after ring #1. Finally got the call to go through twice today (pictures below) and waited on hold the first time for 40 mins and had to click the option to leave a callback number. The second time I waited 30 mins with no luck again. Extremely frustrating to spend 1HOUR AND 10 MINUTES TOTAL waiting to speak to anyone.

I have been to many planet fitnesses In different states being a black card holder I am able to use gyms in any state which is great. I must say I am extremely impressed by the cleanliness of the Fuquay NC location. I can not believe how much cleaning they do in this gym. It makes me feel so safe vs Covid in this gym. They take every precaution and are so kind and courteous.The staff enjoys their jobs and seems to be proud to be doing their part in fight against Covid. I commend the entire staff. I am looking forward to going back during the thanksgiving Holliday, see you all then !!! Joe

The ultimate work out place!!! Staff is very friendly and helpful. I give them 5 stars for cleanliness as they are always busy doing just that. I have been a member at this gym for five months now and have not seen any broken machines or filthiness as one reviewer reported. Another person stated they thought the prices were too high, but this Planet Fitness is much cheaper with many more perks than previous gyms I have attended. Oh, and to the person who complained about someone walking in on them while tanning, perhaps they should have hung the room number sign on the outside of the door indicating that the room was occupied and used the lock that is on every room !

If you know what you want to get out of a gym membership then this is a great option, traditionally Ive gone to the Y mostly for bodybuilding things a little bit of calisthenics and a good amount of cardio and planet fitness offers all of this with a convenience of being open 24 hours and without any of the inconveniences that come with more traditional gyms. I highly recommend anyone thats interested in fitness considering this as a cost-effective alternative to a traditional big gym especially like lifetime.

Hard to cancel; I have been trying to call these people for months now. There is always an hour of hold; I moved and a new gym wont let me cancel and Im out of state.Im in no contract; they just wont answer the call or call you back.

Great place to workout. Nice and polite workers they go around cleaning and filling the paper towel dispenser as well the bottles to clean the machines. The atmosphere is really great. No jokers trying to lift the world in one lift. Just regular people trying to get fit at their on pace. Nice gym and affordable. RL

Great gym to work out at. The staff are always friendly and they keep the place spotless. Its a great place to start working out and stay healthy. They have tanning and massage water beds if your a black card member you get to use those which is nice after a work out.

I have the black card membership, so I can go to any location in the country- and I have. My home location is Wilmington.I have tried going to this location twice. Each time they scan my card they force me to sign a sheet and tell me I can only come in ten times before I have to switch them to my home account. Can I do it in the facility? No, I have to go online to deal with it.I have been to locations in Cary, New York, California, etc....NONE of them do this. All they say is have a great workout.Also, this was never a rule explained to me when I signed up for my plan. none of the other locations seem to care.Im not going to this location anymore, its really annoying to deal with this.

It’s disappointing to see this new location already with broken machines & filthy bathrooms/machines. The staff still seems lost which I get to a point, but it can’t be too hard to give a tour, & explain to new members the rules. Even house keeping. I’m surprised how dirty it is already especially compared to other older planet fitness locations. The staff does not communicate with one another, during a shift change I was in a tanning booth & they sent another guest to it. Luckily I was about to leave, but still it should have been communicated someone was in the room. Plus I had the number tag they give you like fitting rooms. 🤷‍♀️ Bed was filthy too (stand up which shouldn’t even get that way) i had to scrub it down. Guest here also don’t know the concept of wiping down equipment after they use it it’s dusgusting. Something I’m guessing staff isn’t communicating to new members. Thankfully I have a habit of always cleaning before & after. It’s a shame because I was excited to have this location so close to home, but looks like I’ll keep driving further for the better locations I was going prior to this one. opening.

Great gym to be part of clean not to busy black card perks are awesome. Down side you can only visit an outside none home gym for 14 days so if you travel for more than 2 weeks like I do assure there are multiple gyms in the area and mix it up.

For anyone else thinking of canceling your membership, I have tried for 2 months to cancel and Planet Fitness will not allow me to do so unless I come to the facility in person. Seems pretty crazy; especially because they are closed as well as with things that are currently happening. Just an FYI for anyone else looking to do the same.

Nice facility with plenty of equipment available. The place is clean, and the staff have been wonderful so far. 4 stars instead of 5 for the poor WiFi. I have been unable to connect, and cellular reception is limited to the lobby/reception desk. I would like to stream music while working out. Otherwise, Id recommend!The past few times Ive been in, the WiFi has been working smoothly, so Im bumping my review back to 5 stars!

I have been a member of PF for years and never have I had such a not great experience. First the guy that greeted my sister and I spoke to us with the worst attitude. He treated us as though us coming in the door was a huge inconvenience. Told me my 15yo son could not sit and wait for us to tan because “this is not a hangout spot.” I will never come back to this location. Also, for them only being open for a short while the beds are not being cleaned properly. I will continue going to the Dunn and Cary locations. Their staff is top notch!!

Excellent equipment at a very reasonable cost. So many choices in terms of time, activities etc. Loves the chair massage.
