They over charge! I cannot stand place that nickel and dime you this place is definitely one of them. My daughter is very unhappy with her nails, did a pink color on her nail bed instead of a natural colors which just makes them look weird. They wanted to charge an outrageous amount for two colors that were a design when I have done something way more intricate at many other salons for half the price. Will never go back and definitely do not recommend. My daughter won’t even let me take a picture of her nails.

Vincent, you are a true gem! They started to get busy as I sat down for a fill around 4pm, after them being so slow earlier today. He made sure to acknowledge each patron as they entered, and never skipped a beat while servicing me. I had to set up my laptop for work, and he got me situated comfortably to work and get pampered. I have never been more satisfied with not only the assortment of design options but also, the customer service. Vincent and the staff make you feel appreciated for coming to them. They are also taking great care to keep all chairs and tools sanitized during the pandemic. I have definitely found my forever nail salon.

At first I wasnt happy the day I got my nails because of the shape and also my nails were weak so I was in pain.... but I have changed my review due to them communicating with me and the nail tech Mai fixing my nails! Im a person that is in the same industry and we just had mix communication of what I wanted my nails to be like, but now I know and Im happy they are fixed 😁

Please stop getting offended when customers chose the lesser $30.00 manicure. And most importantly stop telling your clients they need to come get services more often because you have to work hard to remove calluses from their feet. You are just enjoy being rude!

Nice place, regular prices. Good massage chairs. I think everything is great but I mostly get pedicures because I am looking forward to the foot massage, instead, I always just end up getting a lower leg massage 🥺. I’ll be looking for somewhere else to go.

I was trying to get a last minute pedi but my normal spot didnt have any availabile appointments so I ended up at Modern Nails. I called ahead first and they told me 15min wait. They were closing at 6 so I was a little surprised (happily) that they would take me at 5:20ish knowing a pedi usually takes a about an hour. I did have to wait a little longer for them to finish with other patrons but I was at least seated in a pedi chair with my feet soaking. The place is a little older but they still seemed very clean and are definitely customer focused. The person working on my feet took his time and was very thorough with my cuticles and the paint. The prices were more reasonably then my normal spot so I definitely will be back.

Ive never rated a nail salon until I experienced the wonderful services at Modern Nails. Vincent listened patiently with a smile to what I wanted. He was friendly and kind during the entire time. My services were full-set nexgen on my hands, modern pedicure, full-set acrylics on my toes. Well, let me say Vincent came through for me in a big way. Hes a master of his craft. He pays attention to detail. The smallest thing he sees not right, he fixes it for perfection. I paid good money for all my services and will do so again. Vincent is that man!!!! Now tell me, are these a thing of beauty??????

I believe my techs name was Mai, she was nice and had a great personality which I couldnt benefit from bc I was on a phone call. She listened to what I wanted told me the prices for the different services and delivered. Ill be returning prob sooner than later 😉.

I got my nails done here 6 days ago. The lady who did them did great on my pedicure but horrible on my manicure. I felt she rushed because they were about to close. I got Next gen and she insisted I needed tips added because my “nails beds are small.” I went along with it even though I didn’t want them. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and my nails look nothing like it. She didn’t even get all the way down to the cuticle so they already look pretty grown out after only a week. They are lumpy in spots because she didn’t smooth them down enough. They clearly look like she rushed and didn’t take her time on them. I won’t be back to this place.

I am a picky person when it comes to where I get my nails done. I have visited several other salons in the area and ended up leaving frustrated. I have been here multiple times and different people have taken care of me but they have all been consistently professional and do a great job! I love the atmosphere, the price, and the way they do my nails.

Upon my experience at this nail salon, I felt as though the staff was extremely prejudice and rude. My sister and I were in the process of getting our nails done sitting side by side. Throughout this time period, each of the people that were doing our nailskept adding prices out of nowhere. For the length, the shape, etc. which is understandable however, at the time my sister and I were a bit confused and asked questions multiple times about the pricing. The woman doing my nails began to yell at my sister, and rushed my nails. She even cut my finger. To conclude, as I went to pay, she asked me why my tipwas such a small amount. I SHOULD NOT HAVE EVEN TIPPED HER and still did. I do not recommend this nail salon at all.

I was in on Friday March 6th for a manicure and gel pedicure. Anytime Ive had gels done before, which is frequently, I get at least two weeks out of them, often three. Kevin did my gel manicure. It was so bad that the manager had to work on it additionally before I left. I think he was the manager, he might have been the owner. Very nice man. He evened up nails that werent filed correctly. He redid the polish on a few. They looked okay when I left. But theyve already started to peel on three nails, and it hasnt even been two weeks. I have photos. I would like to get them redone at no cost once this crazy health scare is over, maybe in May or June.

Ive been roaming around getting my nails done by what feels like every nail place in Frisco. Yet I keep coming back here. Im done searching... I have my nail tech now for life if she will have me. She does my nails right every single time. They always last the full time they never chip and I dont have to say much she knows what shes doing. Plus good conversation. Not going to say who it is just because I dont want her to be too booked to see me lol yes Im being selfish

Always my 1st choice when selecting where to go get mani pedi and much more. They have a happy hour which saves 15% or more depending on the current offer. Great personalised attention. If youre rushed get hands and feet at the same time while relaxing in the massage chair. Great refreshments!

This was my third time visiting the nail salon and the only time I was extremely disappointed with my nails. I went in last Thursday with my mother expecting the same great service I’d received before but ended up with a mediocre pedicure and an uneven, roughly filed manicure. I believe my technician’s name was Kevin, and while he was very friendly, he definitely did not do as good of a job as I had come to expect from my previous visits. When I pointed out that my toes were not painted well, (there were several unpainted spots and multiple drops of paint on and around the skin) to my mom that was waiting for me, Vincent overheard and asked Kevin check. They were “fixed” by the artist adding another layer of paint. Check out the pictures to what I mean. If you do try them out, I suggest Mai or Anna. They were awesome Ana did a great job! My mom’s nails also turned out week and I believe she has her pedicure done by Tina. Overall the place is clean and relaxing... just not always consistent I guess.

Vincent, the manager, does an amazing job with Nextel powder hombre. He has crafted my nails at least 8 times now and has done an amazing job each and every time. Very nice, and polite.

Never again...came in to have my nextgen removed due to surgery and specifically requested clear nail polish...the lady removed the nextgen but barely filed my nails, no clear coat was put on my nails and charged me and left my nails looking HORRIBLE!! She didnt smooth them out they look all patchy and disgusting. So disappointed.

The salon is very clean and inviting, the ladies and gentlemen that work here are all great and friendly. I want to thank Vincent for the beautiful work he did on my nails, not everyone can do a great ombré finish. Vincent was very knowledgeable in this field and knew exactly what I wanted. I also want to thank Kevin for my pedi. I suffer from ingrown toenails and Kevin was gentle and took care of my pain. Both men were great to conversate with.I will definitely be back!!Looks like I found myself a new nail salon for my needs.Highly recommend ladies and gentlemen!!

Was just in! They took amazing care of me and my mom. We had nexgen and a pedi, I was so relaxed and it was much needed pedi that I didn’t realize I needed it until Kevin started massaging my feet. We will defiantly be back!!
