John Peek, who evaluated the issue with my A/C did a great job. He explained clearly what the issue was. Also, Air Repair extended a Veterans discount as well as a cash discount which definitely saved me a bit of money on this substantial purchase.The installation crew of 2 was equally impressive. These two technicians have been with Air Repair for over 11 years and it really showed in how they went about installing the unit. They knew what they were doing. They were efficient, friendly, and they cleaned up when they were completed. Scott Hull was a fantastic tech! He was very thorough and explained everything to me that I had questions about. His work ethic and efficiency was spot on. However, the price for replacing an AC capacitor which is about $16-30 dollars was extremely expensive. Unfortunately this part is nowhere to be found when you need it and of course with Texas heat, it sucks dealing with heat. I wish the prices were a little better with installation and labor. That is my only complaint. I can however praise Scott and the company for being willing to come out on Sundays and fixed my issue because unfortunately, you never know when a situation will strike. Minus the price, overall, I had a great experience!

I am a new customer and unfortunately had to replace my entire AC/heating system. Air Repair Pros provided excellent service. No pressure and very informative. I spoke to  Amanda on my initial call. Her customer service skills were awesome, which seems rare with businesses these days. She was friendly, emphatic, and  answered all my questions. Called Air Repair Pros on the recommendation of a neighbor to finish the install of a mini split unit that I had attempted.The technician did a top level job both in repairing a leak in the line set, as well finishing out the install and making it look nice and professional. When I came home, my shop was nice and cool! Great follow up both with the office and tech. Would recommend. Work is high quality.

Great experience all around! From the scheduling which was quick (they were out within 24hrs and mine wasnt an emergency) to the communication prior to and most importantly the service from Cole M.Cole was knowledgeable, personable and professional. He walked me thru what he was doing and why as well as what the readouts meant (Im typically a service call hoverer b/c I like to learn about my household appliances, etc.I was on the fence on the annual plan, but felt better about committing after having Cole go above and beyond on the basic tune up / service call with a couple of things I know he didnt have to do. Edit - Confused by the owners reply of thank you for your 5 star review as we did not rate it 5 stars. We left it at 3 stars even though we were contacted and offered the $67 service fee as a refund if we changed our rating to 5 stars. Had they simply called and said we are refunding the $67 service fee since you made the repair, sorry for any misunderstandings - instead of offering it only if we changed to 5 star as a condition to receive the service fee back we would have likely raised our 3 stars to 4 stars.Cons:- The only other real gripe/con I have is that they tacked on a $67 trip/service fee. Typically in my experience these fees are waived when a repair is made and these trip fees are to compensate them for their time if they show up and the customer decides to not make the repair with them (which I completely agree with charging that in that situation because as a business owner myself time is valuable!). Now you can have this fee waived if you join their club which I was not prepared to do on the spot. Yes I should have seen on the site when I booked the appointment that it was only waived if you were a comfort club member so that is partly my fault. Had I seen that I would have gone with another repair company that waives that fee when you do the repair. Just be aware if you use them and are not a comfort club membership your repair will be $67 more than what the actual repair cost is!-repair on the unit was done prior to our authorization. Tech fixed it, then sat us down to go over the cost of what he fixed even though we didnt authorize the repair. We would have still likely made the repair, but still should have asked us if we were ok with the price first, gotten authorization, then made the repair.Pros:- Service repair was professional, clean, and did a great job. Very happy with how the repair was done.- quick appointment to get us back up and going within one day and even offered to come quicker but our schedule wouldnt accommodate the earlier time (appreciated the call to ask us if we wanted a quicker appointment as well)Again happy with the overall service and repair, but I dont know that I will use them for repair again because of that service fee that inflates the price of the repair when I can use other companies that dont have that service fee if I use those said companies to make the repair.

Air Repair Pros were quick to get a specialist out to my house, obviously a huge plus in the late July Texas heat. John was a great guy, very friendly, and knowledgeable. He clearly covered all aspects of the review and fix, as well as cost breakdown, and future suggestions/recommendations (not pushing the sell but making sure that I was aware and that it’s on the radar).

Our A/C stopped cooling in one zone only. After much research, I called Air Repair Pros and they were able to come out the next day. They diagnosed our issue and sourced the part needing to be replaced on a Friday and came on Monday to complete the repair. It only took 45 minutes with a 3 man team, and we were cool again! They cleaned up and left and we were very happy. The techs we interacted with and the office staff as well were all knowledgeable and helpful. We are grateful to have found an ethical A/C company that is customer-service oriented. We will use them again if the need arises and for maintenance.

We purchased a new home only to find out one of our AC units stopped worked, ugh! We called Air Repair Pros and they were able to squeeze us in the same week, no other company was able to get us in. He discovered that one of the condensation drains was clogged and unclogged it at no charge during the routine service of my AC units. This company is extremely impressive! We called on a Sunday looking for same day response and they were at our home in less that 30 minutes! Karen took my call and she was delightful and helpful and the technician who’s name is Cole was awesome. Tim came by to do a spring tune up on my AC and was very helpful, informative, and prompt. I was able to get someone to come look at my units within 24 hours which is incredible given the season.Tim identified a part that wasn’t operating to full capacity, offered a great repair solution, as well as helped set us up with a club membership to save on future tune ups. As we are new to the area it is great to find reliable help for standard home utility needs. I would highly recommend this company to others.

BUYER/CONSUMER BEWARE!I had Air Repair Pros perform what I thought would be standard seasonal maintenance for my dual A/C system. What I received was a high pressure sales experience to buy a laundry list of recommended services and an annual service contract (totaling over $2000 for a 5 year old AC unit). During their inspection, I think the only thing I received was a bunch of their stickers posted all over my AC units and they didnt even clean the AC unit as part of the visit. Needless to say, I did not trust to do anymore business with Air Repair pros and had another well rated A/C company perform the same maintenance check. None of the recommended services by Air Repair Pros was also recommended by this other company. In all, if you like to be ripped off, burn money for fun, or pay for unnecessary junk then call Air Repair pros to work on your Heating & Cooling. If you want a trustworthy and honest company to do business with - look elsewhere.EDITS: Owners reply confirms my suspicions. A good company will work hard to please dissatisfied customers. Instead they choose to belittle and discredit them as well as betray any customer/business discretion. Read through other owner replies of bad reviews and youll notice a pattern. Why does it matter if I took a month to write my review...seriously? Their statute of limitations is quite short I guess.Many other reviews mention their high prices. Perhaps they do decent work. But if you want more value for your buck then I would shop around. $300 to treat surface level (likely caused by condensation) rust that posed no serious or imminent need to fix? $400 for 2 switches and the tech didnt even know if it was required within my localities code? $350 for 2 run capacitors (look on Amazon and they are parts that cost less than $50)? $700 for 2 aftermarket start circuits (will this really extend the life of my unit commensurate with its cost - the original manufacturer didnt think them to be necessary)? $300 to hose off 2 AC units (why wasnt this done as part of my seasonal tune up - other companies will clean it for you in that tune up service)?I appreciate a good company pointing out what I should do to protect my investment and save money over the long haul. This is not the approach Air Repair takes. They just want to squeeze as much money out of you that youre willing to give them - think old school stereotypical auto repair/used car salesman. Im sure they would have no qualms with recommending ocean front property in Oklahoma if youre willing to pay them.

Called to make an appointment to have the R22 removed from the system and was told they dont do that! Its like calling a plumber out to replace a toilet and they say, they dont do that! Or they pick and choose which part of plumbing they want to do. Or calling a lawyer that handles family law and decides that theres not enough money to be made and wont handle your case. I called them after I came back from vacation and found that my ac was out and was able to get an appointment the next day. The technician told me what I had already suspected, that I needed a new system. My prior system was over 20 years old and I knew it was already on life support. I was offered a top of the line Trane system at a fair and competitive price.I chose AIR Repair Pros not only because of all the positive reviews and accolades. But because the salesman was able to present a powerful and compelled case of after sales support which I found valuable.They installed my system the next evening and sent a Quality Assurance team out 72 hrs later to check all was well.I ABSOLUTELY recommend them for all your HVAC needs.

The compressor on our condenser stopped working on a Sunday afternoon, so I called them out as the first available option on the weekend. The tech was friendly, but either not honest or mailing it in late in the workday.His solution was to install a start circuit (hard start kit) and add refrigerant to the system. He claimed the evaporator coil needed to be replaced since it was leaking refrigerant, saying it was about 10 years old and that is the typical life for that component, which is somewhat true. The estimate for the work was about $4500.However, he did not take time to test the system and confirm any leak, and the date on the unit states it is only 2 years old and thus under the 10 year original warranty. I confirmed the warranty with the installer afterwards (different company), who then came out to inspect the system and search for the leak. Their tech spent hours looking and found no leak, and did not find any evidence refrigerant had been added. I was not present for the initial call to verify any was added, but did check to see if the circuit was installed, and it was (a $13 part which they charged $389 to install). The property in question was not mine, so I had no context on previous installations.It is extremely infuriating that AC repair companies continue to take advantage of people who do not or cannot educate themselves on engineering basics of HVAC systems. After this, I will ensure not to be taken advantage of should a similar issue occur. If I hadn’t been present, my mother would have shelled out an unnecessary several thousand dollars because of dishonesty or laziness. I was very disappointed given the number of positive reviews for this company.Chalk it up to another poor experience in a very sketchy industry.

Scott, the service technician came right on time, and services the condensers. He was very professional for the whole visit and did not try to up sell at all. I’ve not had great experiences with various hvac companies in the past 6 years so I decided to try Air Repair Pros for my routine maintenance I have done twice a year. The gal I spoke with to schedule an appointment was courteous and helpful and efficient. The company sent me regular email and text confirmations and reminders and updates. Five stars for communication which I find critical. Techs arrived within the two hour window. They were masked and also wore booties. The maintenance was performed in a timely manner. Some issues were noticed and photos were provided of the problem areas. All work was done in a timely manner and I was happy with the outcome and satisfied with the pricing. I also have a rental home where they went after my home and did the tuneup. No issues there. I signed up for regular maintenance for both houses.

These are real pros. They arrived on time to access the issue. When it was decided to replace the heating unit they responded within an hour. In one hour and a bit we were getting heat in the house. Very efficient, cleaned up after the job and very friendly technicians. Given current high demand for furnace repairs, Air Repair Pros stand out. Others were not even going to come out for 5 days. Air Repair Pros came the next day. Highly recommend them.

Our Air Conditioner went out on a Saturday. We called Air Repair Pros. The lady who answered the phone was friendly and helpful. She sent John out to see us that very same day. We had a new Trane Air Conditioner up and running on Sunday. Glen and Matt did the install in 3 hours and all is literally ‘very cool’ now.
