Everyone that answers the phones are always very polite and helpful. They were able to quickly come out and diagnose our A/C issues. Once we decided to get a new unit, Jose was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He was able to get the parts quickly and then get them installed within just a couple of days. This was one of the best service experiences we’ve had. We have used this company (and Jose) before and we will continue to use and recommend them!

Waited days in broken hot AC for my appointment. The wait is expected, whats NOT expected is for them to then tell me they cant repair or even look at my system because the repair may be maintenance related??? I told them I didnt want a full replacement, just wanted my system fixed back to optimal performance.They said they only do maintenance in Aprilish. Really these guys only want to make money on replacements. Thats fine, but they shouldnt hold themselves out as AC repair company.

We had all three systems replaced since the original equipment was still in place from when the house was built 18 years ago. We used Trane units and the process could not have been smoother with no issues during the installation. Jose Garza and his team covered all the floors and also wore shoe protectors and never once touched a wall removing the old equipment or bringing in the new. They swept the entire floor of the attic and you can’t even tell they were in the house all day. I highly recommend them as they have exceeded my expectations in workmanship and professionalism!! I recently purchased a new home and used Air Masters to have the A/C inspected on the property we were purchasing. The inspector from the inspection company stated the system was fine but I still wanted a second opinion. They not only came same day and were very professional but they found that the system was actually not going to make it through the summer. On top of that the freon being used was going to be illegal after the beginning of the year due to new laws. The seller agreed to replace the system before our closing. Then the week before closing the AC actually leaked and caused damaged to the flooring and walls. Air Masters then came even earlier to replace the system so that the sellers could get all the repairs done before we closed and moved in. This proved the inspector was incorrect and the AC was needing to be replaced. Thank you Air Masters for being knowledgeable, honest, efficient, and handling this with urgency! You saved us thousands of dollars not to mention a lot of stress being first time home buyers! The customer service rocked as well and I will only use them going forward. I recommend them to everyone.

The evaporator coil on our downstairs A/C unit failed, and I was not happy with the solution provided by my home warranty company and its HVAC contractor. So, I decided to research well-regarded service providers, and I heard wonderful things about Air Masters. I gave them a call and spoke with Jennifer whose customer service over the phone was absolutely top notch. She listened to my summary of the situation and within 30 minutes, she had Jose at my door to give my system a once-over and offer recommendations and an estimate. Just like Jennifer, Joses level of customer service was second to none and he was extremely friendly and willing to walk me through the detail of his suggestions including rationale. The price quoted was almost the same as the out of pocket portion that my home warranty wanted me to pay as a supplement to the coverage they were providing. In addition, Air Masters was offering to install a Trane unit rather than an off brand that the home warranty was planning to install. I was so impressed by Air Masters that I decided to not use my home warranty to address the issue. Air Masters came back the very next day and installed the new Trane evaporator coil, and my house has never felt more comfortable! In addition, Air Masters installed some manual dampers (at a very reasonable price) and solved a long-standing problem where our downstairs master bedroom was constantly not as cool as the rest of our house during the hot summer. I cannot recommend Air Masters strongly enough and will most certainly use them for all HVAC needs moving forward. Best in class customer service, fair pricing, and quality workmanship!

Jose Garza knows a lot about HVAC’s and can answer your questions in a way you’re sure to understand. His prices can’t be beat! Recently installed a Trane furnace and AC, as well as fixed a hot South atrium window / door issue. I can now leave my blinds open during the day and with working from home that is a blessing. Had asked for the crew to have gloves & masks on due to COVID-19 and everyone did. I’d definitely recommend this small family-owned business to anyone. Big HVAC companies have big overhead & that gets passed on to the consumer. Felt good to help a small business during a pandemic.

While its never fun to wake up one morning and find your heater not working ... its nice to know that there are people like Jennifer and Randy out there that can help you out. Within an hour Randy was knocking at the door ready to see what needed to be done. He and his wife and team are all very nice and very professional. I sourced bids from multiple providers in the area. Air Masters was competitive with all of them. However, it was Randy that pushed them over the top. He was very helpful and recognized that we had some areas of the home that were not cooling as well as others and recommended a solution as part of his bidding process. We replaced 2 A/C units and heaters and feel that Air Masters treated us well and we will continue to use them as the need arises in the future.

They came out the same day, did a quick minor repair even told me my parts were under warranty from Carrier so I just paid labor, thought it was nice that they brought it up because I had no idea that we were within the part warranty window. Scheduling was a breeze, and they came out on time. However, I have been told by multiple people as well as other AC guys that I was overcharged for a capacitor replacement. I was also informed that the compressor on my unit was going out. I didnt have $3,500 in my budget, so I called my home warranty to have someone come fix major repair. It took a week for that to be scheduled, but the entire time, the AC unit was working in my house. When the second-look came in for the compressor repair, they notified me that it is working fine and as it should be.Bottom line: I feel like I was taken advantage of, because I dont know what needs to be fixed and what doesnt need to be. We put our trust in having an expert come out and fix, but I feel like I was recommended a major repair that really didnt need to be performed. It has been another 2 weeks now, and my AC unit is still cooling the house properly.

Trustful, fast, good prices.The AC wouldnt cool, and it was frozen. So we called them, in about an hour everything was fixed. The service was great, the guy explained everything he was doing, and recommended things we should do to keep problems from happening again. Definitely will be calling them again if we ever need them. :)

I have hired them twice to replace worn-out units. I was impressed with their explanations and assistance in choosing a unit, with the professionalism of their work, that the sales rep was actually the lead technician on the install, and that they identified and solved other problems with ductwork that were reducing comfort and efficiency. I hope out third unit holds out, but Ill hire Air Masters if it fails!

The tech arrived 30 minutes after I called which I appreciate because my AC was not working on a hot summer day, however, they charged me $288 for a 30 minute job. I looked up the cost of the part on Ebay and it was $10 so I guess the other $278 was for labor. The next day, I asked a tech from another company who was working on my neighbors AC how much he would have charged me. He said he would have charged $120. So as you can see, these people are punctual but watch out because the price of their work is high.

We have an older system and called Air Masters when it wasnt cooling very well. The service guy was out within the timeframe scheduled and had the part to fix it. It is old and probably would be better served to be replaced but we werent looking to replace it at this time and they repaired it quickly and didnt pressure us. We have already recommended them to a family member.

I was in desperate need of a new Heating/Cooling system. Obtained several second opinions and estimates. The money for the new system was about the same for all of the estimates but the one from Air Masters was by far the better system. This was due to Jose who examined my system and told me what all of the others had said. But Jose listened to my problems with the current AC and designed a solution that addressed those problems. This solution turned out to be a much better system than any of the other proposals for the same money. Jose explained the hows and the whys to me in detail so that I knew what to expect and why it was done. The crew came when they said they would and they worked so hard to remove the old and install the new system. This was no easy task in my house. One poor soul was in the attic pretty much all day but in the end all was done exceeding my expectations. Now I reside in a blissful 70 degrees without the system running ALL the time like the old one did. Now the temp is constant, the power usage is less, and we are happy. Not sure what more one could ask. To Air Masters - keep Jose. To others - for me Air Masters cant be beat.

These guys are great. I had a a/c that was on its last leg for the past four years. When I called for service they would come bring life to it again. A few times it was simple like a burnt fuse which was replaced for no charge and no charge for house call. I bought a new system last month and man now I have to turn the ac down so I dont get cold in the summer.

Air Masters refused to support my three Trane HVAC systems! I was referred to Air Masters by Trane to replace my now-bankrupt dealer. Air Masters refused to support my equipment because it is too new and under extended warranty. This attitude should be warning enough to avoid Air Masters.UPDATE: Trane confirmed -- when I called to report this dealers behavior -- Air Masters refusal to support my equipment is a violation of their Trane dealer contract. If Air Masters will violate a Trane contract, you dont stand a chance.UPDATE 2: Interesting response, Air Masters, but I contacted you requesting preventative maintenance -- a paid service -- not warranty work. When you learned my equipment was covered by extended warranties, your agent told me, We do not make any money on warranty work. Thank you for confirming your violation of the Trane dealer agreement.

Definitely like the work that theyve done; responsive & thorough. I tried some of the bigger names, and they would barely give me the time of day, but Air Masters has always been there for me.

Best service I have ever had. They were clean, personable, professional, and did I say CLEAN I have white carpet, and they installed a new air conditioner the same day in my attic it was a 104 degrees. And my carpet is still white, they wore shoe covers and put down tarps I was just so impressed. Jose brought his crew out here and not only put a new air conditioner in for me but he educated me on how the system should be maintained so it will last longer and save me money on my electric bill. True Professionals you have got to use this company. Ask for Jose he is cute too.

Air Masters did a great job working with me on getting a new 5 ton Trane unit and coil. My second unit is probably not too far behind (unfortunately for me). Ill certainly go back to Air Masters for my future HVAC needs.

We have been using Airmasters for around 10 years. It is always great when you can find service professionals that you can trust. I ask a lot of questions and they have always been excellent about explaining what they are doing and giving options for short-term and long-term planning. We have replaced our main unit this past year with a much more efficient system. Airmasters came in and in one day installed the system, enlarged and added returns and added a couple of different pieces to help with my sons allergies. The result for us is a system that is much more comfortable and much less costly to run. We debated for a long time because the cost of a new system is pretty significant, but we had been seeing increasingly bigger and bigger electric bills as our previous system was running overtime to try and keep the house cool. We feel we made great investment in our home and have certainly been feeling the benefits inside the house. I never hesitate to recommend Airmasters to my friends.

No AC, Texas Heat - and 2 small babies - I thought for SURE we were in trouble!!!Outstanding customer service!!! WAY above and beyond!From the moment we called (which, by the way, was AFTER HOURS on a Friday night, in the middle of summer!!!) Our AC went out and we have two small babies!! Staying in a hotel with 2 small kids is never a good idea. But that seemed to be our only option. Our AC went out in our 2-year old home. We called the builder and they referred us to the AC place that installed the unit. They were kind enough to tell us that at 2 years and 2 months, we were OUTSIDE the warranty window. Not only that, they would be unable to service us that night :( :( :( :(We had no choice but to pack a bag, a pack-n-play, and head to the hotel for the night. BUT, we managed to get ahold of someone at Air Masters. They had been highly recommended through a friend at church so we thought, why not.Randy came out, within 45 minutes (Bless you, Randy!!) and figured out what was wrong. I dont even remember what it was, but he worked with Trane to have them help cover the costs. Although we were outside the warranty, we were only a few months outside. How wonderful of him to: 1) come running to our aid on a Friday night 2) work with us on the costs 3) work with us on the warranty requirements and write-up 4) earn our trust so quickly by providing ONLY and exactly what we needed and 5) becoming our #1 and ONLY AC repair & service man for not only OUR AC units, but also for my in-laws and every person we meet or hear that needs AC repair. We LOVE Air Masters!!!

Right from the point of providing us the estimate to selecting the right unit and brand for our home to the actual installation of the unit was handled in the most professional manner. As the other user stated, I was charged $289 to replace the capacitor. The next day, I asked a tech who was repairing the AC system in my neighbors house how much he would have charged me. He said $110.

I called out Airmasters for what I believed to be a bad capacitor. The tech came out right at the appointment time and confirmed the diagnosis, offering a couple of repair options. I ran out for a minute leaving him to his work and returned to the tech hurriedly cleaning up and preparing to leave. He indicated he had a personal emergency he needed to attend to but that he had finished the repair and it was cooling fine. He apologized and said that the office would call for payment the next day. I understood completely and the office did call as scheduled and payment was made and an invoice emailed. Now, five days later, it appears that the same part has failed. I have them scheduled to come back out tomorrow and will update the review based on the result of the follow up appointment.
