I bought diamond earrings at Jared’s in Bakersfield (highly recommend) and they had them shipped to this Kay’s so I could pick them and not have to drive all the way down there. I work 75 hours a week and today was my only day off and went to the mall with my 6months old and when I got there both people were busy, which is understandable, but I got no acknowledgement and when I finally did I said “I just need to pick up some earrings” and the woman said “ we will be with you when we have time”. I just needed to pick up the earrings and they could have just took a few min to help and could have spent all the time in the world with those customers I’m sure they would have understood. Thank god I didn’t make our purchases here but will not use them as a Jared’s satellite again. Super rude and no customer service.
People are very friendly an helpful. Always need something to show ur love there important in your life
Attentive service Even though I was not buying anything. Also offered service to adjust a watch which I did not purchase from them.
I bought a ring here, i was helped by Wendy, I waited 2 weeks to hear back from kays, i happen to open my email to say my ring was ready, drove an hour just so they could tell me my ring was returned because it could not be re sized, I was told by the manager that I was contacted multiple times, but I had not had a single call from them, I really feel that this store just goes to show you that they lack customer service because when I bought this ring I was told it could be re sized. Definitely would give Zero stars if I could.
We’ve Been going to Kay jewelers for about 3 years now and out of those 3 years we’ve never had an experience like today . Rosa was super nice, helpful and most of all veryyyy patient . My husband and I were were there for almost 2 hours looking to buy the perfect necklace and Rosa made sure we walked out of there happy with the piece we loved. Kay jewelers you need more Rosas!!
Stay away from this fashion fair mall location. The manager is bad and rude and the staff lies too, they lost my wifes wedding ring and tried to low ball us on the price for replacement and try to have us pay the difference, this has been going on for 2.5 months now I have corporate involved to try and get help. this place lies to you and cheats stay clear of fashion fair mall. I have been a kays customer for more than 25 years and this is the worst manager and customer service I ever received.
Great customer service. Quick sizing service.
Dont buy from this store. Employee Nadia is rude and wont accept returns even though its within the return period. Claims she knows what shes doing, but obviously doesnt. Talked down to an older employee that had just started working there. Avoid unless they get rid of Nadia.
I just love my Leo Diamond engagement ring!!! It is exactly what I wanted. Michael and all the staff were amazing. I was so nervous ordering it, and they were very comforting, and very reassuring that everything was going to be perfect. I just love my ring.
I absolutely love Kay Jewelers! They are my go to jewelry store!
Customer service here is super horrible, need to improve. Very shady, they only cares for the one who looks higher class then the others. Very disappointed. Especially at the manager who tends to just sit and do nothing to help others
Leti was very patient with us as we picked out my wedding ring.
Had a good experience today...Mike Zubia was very helpful and tended to our needs...awesome customer service... thank you Mike...
Great experience came out with a great purchase
This is MY favorite all-time jewelry store hands down. The saying is so true every kiss begins with Kays. 😊 My engagement Ring surely started with Kays. I love the staff that works here & even the new staff are awesome like they have been there 4ever. They are the BEST in town. NO regrets.
Over priced ! Please shop somewhere else look around go to olof jewelry go anywhere else but here. They are so expensive their diamonds arent even that good quality. I purchase jewelry At Kays spent over $4000 I regret it . Please shop around before you spend any of your hard earned money here .
I bought a $300 ring, it split in half, I sent it in, and I got the ring. Not only did it take 5 1/2 months to get it back to me they sized the ring wrong AND THEY TWISTED THE WHOLE RING, the ring is literally crooked. Never buy anything from this location OR Kay’s.
The customer service here needs improvement! Will not be back and will take my money somewhere else. I would not recommend anyone to shop here.
Michael at Kay surpassed my expectations. I went in with questions after my husband bought me my third band for our 10 year anniversary and Micahel was so knowledgable in explaining my options and how to help me. I got a little too excited and changed my entire ring with the decision I made and immediately had buyers remorse, I walked around for hours wondering what I should do and I got up the courage to come back to Michael and explain that I had made a mistake and I was so worried about wasting their time again but Michael was unbelievably understanding and just plain grateful that I came back and was honest with my remorse and he found me a ring that was much more like the one my husband had envisioned for me and much more in my price range. I was so grateful in how Michael handled my change of heart that he has earned a customer for life. We will go to Michael and Kays for all our jewelry needs.
Best service. Very friendly & attentive.
I would leave ZERO stars if possible! Purchased a new very expensive watch from their Las Vegas store with the understanding that if it did not suite me I could easily exchange it at any Kay Jewelers near my home. At the time of purchase the sales associate sized the watch and then re-packed it in its original box so i could pack it safely in my luggage for the trip home. It was a very technologically sophisticated watch so 10 days later, having never worn the watch I decided to exchange it for a more conventional style. The Kay jeweler near my home town refused to exchange. At first they tried to tell me I had bought the watch from an outlet, then when they read the original receipt they said they could not accept it because they do not carry that model at their location, then the manager told me they could not accept it because it had been sized (link removed). When I explained to the manager that it had been sized by a Kay employee, with the original link still in the box, the manager still refused and directed me to call customer service. I called - they do not understand the meaning of customer service- will not over turn or do anything to assist stating it is at the discretion of the store manager. After several calls i was told to call MARIE MENDEZ for assistance. After several voice mails she has not once tried to call me back. The reviews are correct ONCE KAY GETS YOUR MONEY THEY DONT CARE! SHOP ANYWHERE BUT KAYS!!!
Kays was clean, nice selection, friendly, not pushyI will continue to shop there.
Stewart and Michael have been the best! Ive shopped here a few times and have been pleased each time.
The staff here are very polite, caring, and attentive. They welcome you and the atmosphere is positive all around.
Horrible experience, bad customer service, don’t recommend them at all!!!
Ive had my Kay card for years, bought all my jewlery from there. However, I will be taking my business somewhere else because i am disappointed. I bought a ring with engraving on, which is not cheap. The lady told me the insurance covered everything, not mentioning it didnt cover the engraving, which i asked about! So i went in to get the ring resized, cleaned and reengraved. First the lady tells me its 40 bucks to regrave then the manager tells me they cant. So i spent the money to engrave my ring and now its worn out and literally wasted my money. If she simply would of warned me before purchasing it i would of been happy her telling me the truth and saved me money.
Im a little disapointed. I needed a new battery for my watch and they couldnt get the back off. Went next door to DeVons and they got it off right away, and was $5 less then what Kay Jewelers charged for a new battery.
Worst mistake, my wedding ring i love, but kay jewlers as a bussiness it the worst sold me a diamond with marks in it didnt even tell me about it when i call they try to make it sound good saying its what makes my diamond unique and im fine with that but they should of told me before i took it home and they took my money, so thats one reason but what topped it off was i sent my ring out for maintenance the prongs were bent i waited 2 weeks when i get my ring back they didnt fix the crooked prong as a matter a fact they loosened the opposite side i could wiggle my diamond you could clearly see with a naked eye it was loose now i have to wait who knows how long to get it back if i could give negative stars i would ..
My husband was told when he purchased my wedding band that it would be sized down to fit my very small finger. My engagement ring was purchased at this location almost a year before, so the store should have been aware of just how small the band needed to be. Nonetheless, the sales associate assured my husband it could be done. After agreeing to and signing a contract for the custom ring size and price, my husband left the store. When the ring was delivered, and deemed ready for pick up, my husband was told by the same associate, that in fact, the ring could not be sized down; instead 2 beads were soldered to the inside of the ring, making it the appropriate size. With the wedding in NY and nearly 2 weeks away, my husband reluctantly took the ring. When the wedding (and Hurricane Sandy) were over, we needed to figure out what could be done with the ring.It is my opinion that that particular ring should never have been sold to my husband. Clearly it was near impossible for the ring to maintain its structural integrity when such a small size was required. For the integrity of the shop, jewelry, and reputation of Kay Jewelers as a whole, and without full knowledge of what the sizing limitations were, the sales associate should never have sold the ring.In attempts to remedy the situation we contacted the shops manager, only to be given the run around, not once, not twice, but three times by one of the sales associates; all to no avail. We left numerous messages for the manager to contact us whenever it was most convenient. After a week, we still hadnt gotten in contact with her, nor was there evidence of her trying to contact us.Obviously our sales associate was more concerned with making the sale, than delivering a quality and not to mention, contracted product. I still cannot believe the manager has not contacted us to rectify such a huge error. I am so very disappointed with the way this shop and its associates have treated this situation. After spending so much time and $$$ at this shop, I feel we were entitled to discuss our issues with the manager. Almost a month after trying to have a conversation, we have still not heard from the store.Very Unprofessional. In the end, my wedding band, although beautiful and so meaningfully chosen by my husband; blessed by our priest at the ceremony, had to be returned.
Fair prices on the the accessories!
My husband bought a ring for me there and he was told he had to pay for the diamond and the band in two separate transactions. Kay Jewelers used MY acct and charged a portion to my bill! Then they sent him a separate bill! So now I get a bill every month for which I did not authorize
Very nice and very helpful!
