We lost one set of keys about three years ago and the other set a week ago. I called the dealership for options. They explained the car has to be towed in and a new set of keys must be laser cut and then programmed.Everything was very smooth and professional from that point on. We arranged the tow from AAA and in a day I received an email telling me the car was ready.Overall very courteous and friendly service from beginning to end.
In this world of dealers who take zero responsibility, it is amazing to see a dealership step up the way Fremont Chevrolet has. They truly care and it shows. Ive been the victim before of some techs taking my car for a joyride, and the dealer responsible(who wont be named here) of course did nothing about it. Erik was great in explaining all the services I need. Took down notes on whats wrong with the car. I had to leave the car at the dealership for service as some electrical component was on back order. He constantly updated me on the status and also let me use rental while the car was at the dealership. Overall great experience at the dealership. This is where I go if I have an issue with my car.
Highest price ever !!! Replace 1 tire cost me more than $300 . I should get from Walmart it’s only $80And the service is very slow I called hundreds times to make sure they can finish that in same day.OMG.That’s my bad idea to go dealership to do service so regret. I learned that !!!

June was great. He was not a pushy salesman. He was very accommodating to all our requests and followed up later with how to videos etc. Very knowledgeable about the car as well. Was very transparent about the entire process. Overall we felt like we were having a very honest car buying experience and no one was trying to one up us.
Up selling me too hard and then not providing the 27 point inspection list until I insisted, I had to be kind rude about it and then only received it in black and white instead of color and so the list was not easy to understand. Asked about specific items in the inspection list and told everything is fine even though I had specific questions about certain items. I was dismissed and left to wait a long time and treated as if I was asking for too much.
I brought my truck in for a oil change, and it turned out the lifter were bad. It was a new truck that only had 4800 miles on it. They told me that it would take about 2 weeks because the parts were on back order. I was not happy about that. It was out of their control, and I understood that. I did need my truck by the end of two weeks, and they made sure it would be done, and it was. They were very responsive every time I called to see if my truck would be ready on time. The service department was excellent!
As a customer at a very different Chevy/Cadillac dealership who experienced poor customer service by catching the mechanic tech on video taking my CTS V home while I was in the waiting room and hearing your dealerships story how you guys handled things with your own situation, I will definitely be looking to buy from your dealwrship in the near future. Hands down some great customer service from this place.

I got there ahead o my appointment, was asked to wait in the waiting room for the shuttle bus, but after 20 minutes of hearing nothing I decided to go check and the service advisors did not even have my car entered for its recall service, so they said they would expedite.Shuttle bus took too long, so my wife picked me up instead. They should set expectations on when the shuttle bus will arrive.Also was told it would take several hours to complete the service, but 10 minutes after leaving the dealership, they called to say the car was ready!
Beware! Dont service your car in this place. I booked an appointment for oil change and after keeping the car for almost 2 hours, the dealership told me they dont have time to service the car as they are about to close. They dont value customer time at all. I talked to their manager and asked that they should have informed me through call before I come for appointment but they dont care. Also, I checked their prices for services are the highest compare to other dealerships. If you value your time and money avoid this place.

Went in to get my 2018 Chevy Volt serviced and to fix a recall. I worked with both Edgar and Justin who were both very personable, kind, and helpful. The techs seemed to take special care with keeping the car clean as they had a plastic liner for the front seat that they removed right before returning the car to me. The only complaint I have is that I had to wait quite a bit for my car to be returned--I assumed it was because it was being washed because they had offered to do so, but someone saw me waiting, came to check on me, and then went to fetch my car (and it was unwashed), so there was definitely a drop in the communication and hand off there. All in all though, still great service.
My experience is limited to the sales and delivery team at this point, but so far the experience was great. I ordered my car through them and they reached out as soon as it arrived and they had it ready for pickup the next day. The delivery was great and everyone was professional and pleasant. Everything was clearly explained.No complaints. Will update after the first service.

The technical team is very responsive. However, the very high labor cost for even the simplest task ($250 seems to be the standard rate to perform, for example, rotating the tires) causes even a standard service to quickly add up to thousands of dollars.

I went there for an oil change and they wanted me to pay over $458.90 ...$243.95 oil change tire rotation & 21 point inspection + Change brake fluid exchange & 37.500 miles maintenance $214.95. I mentioned to the advisor I had oil change (79.95) coupon that included 20 point inspection and tire rotation. I own a 2015 Malibu with 37,770 miles I had done a 30,000 mile maintenance done about 1.5 years ago. I ended up paying $248.50 for oil change and and brake fluid flush. It saddens me when they try to push services you know are not needed and this point.

Im part of Santa Clara Corvettes and just shared in the group that one of your mechanics took a 150 mph Joy Ride through Fremont and even managed to street race a customers car with a Dodge Charger. This was all captured via the PDR system. Having owned two corvettes, I would never take my vehicle to this location. Corvette owners tend to do their due diligence when researching which dealership has the strongest reputation when it comes down to working on their vehicles and I will make sure when speaking in my car groups to mention your lack of professionalism and pride in your work. Unfortunately for your business, when the reckless actions of a single carless employee hits national news by endangering the lives of the local community, it will hurt your P&L Statement.
TLDR; these guys will charge you thousands for a repair and then not even totally fix the problem. I needed to get my Suburban that had a recall fixed and they charged me 2000 to not even fix the problem. Money grabbers, and terrible customer service.I normally take my 2015 Suburban to Dublin Chevrolet. Always have a good experience there. This is my Third Chevrolet suburban which I took over to Fremont Chevrolet in June to get a recall fix on the Air Conditioning. Eric Hamlin was the service advisor. I was told that the recall was not covered because the mileage was just over the 60K limit. I was charged $1994.54 to fix the recall and I was okay with that because it was mid-summer and I wanted the AC to work. They replaced the defective Condenser and re-filled the Refrigerant.After the fix was done the AC worked but would not cool the car for long time, it almost took 4-5 miles of driving before we will feel any cold air.I made an appointment on August 5th and took the Suburban in. I explained the whole problem online when I made the appointment.I met a service advisor (not Eric) when I went in and explained the issue. His first reaction was that he will get Eric. He disappeared and came back after 15-20 minutes and said that Eric was busy.First thing he said was that he will have to charge me $200 diagnostic and find out what is the problem. I told him that I just paid 2K to fix the issue and I am sure that they did not put enough refrigerant in and all they have to do is put more refrigerant.He rudely said that I have to pay $200 for the diagnostic and more if they find other problem.At this point I felt that he just want to make more money and I left. Stay away from Fremont Chevrolet Service. If your get anything fixed here these guys will over charge you and not honor the warranty on the repair.

I really appreciated how Chris helped in my new lease in the following ways:1. Chris was very clear and transparent about the effective monthly fees, different options over the phone already, so I had a very clear picture of the situation before I met Chris in person at Fremont Chevrolet2. Chris also gave good information on what was needed to finalize the lease over the phone so I came prepared and helped reduce the time I need to spend at the dealership3. Chris worked hard to keep my time at the dealership short so I was able to drive home a new leased car even though I arrived at 6pm and they close at 8pm on a Sunday.This is surely the best experience I have had at a dealership so far. I remember one time I got very tired buying a new car after I had to spend the entire afternoon at a dealership waiting between making small changes in offers, checking for car availability, ... etc.
I was quoted a very high down payment on a lease at Fremont Chevrolet by Sergio. I was quoted 18k down and $508 a month.I called another dealership and was quoted $5,600 at 600 a month. (Stevens Creek Chevrolet).So I called Fremont again, spoke with a different sales man and was quoted $5,600 as well with the 600 monthly.After that I told Sergio I wasnt interested. It upsets me after decades we still have the sleezy sales man type. I suggest these guys build value to what theyre selling and theyll get the sale. Instead its a dishonest pitch that comes back to bite you.I spoke with another gentleman there who was straight forward, no BS. Unfortunately at that point I felt like I couldnt trust Fremont Chevrolet.
Brand new vehicle with dead cell on battery and GM is apparently aware of bad batch of batterys and not being pro active. Poor customer service. Shuttle service is horrible driver took off mask during ride. Waited over an hour for pick up from Fremont Bart after being told 15 eta. Just to name a few issues. No loaner vehicles available and had to rent a car even though supposed to be provided one. Still trying to be reimbursed for rental.

Once you walk off their lot, you can forget receiving any customer service or care.I have a service contract, but still cannot get in touch with anyone.I made the mistake of buying two vehicles from this dealership.At this point, Ive been trying to reach them since July 2020 and havent had a single call back. I have been trying to be patient because things are especially challenging, but going a full calendar year without a callback or acknowledgment is excessive.
Heard about the owner stepping up with that covette incident.... Why wouldnt you go there with standup ownership like that? Bad eggs work everywhere and things happen but its how you handle these issues that defines you!
The sales people were very busy and we ended up waiting quite a long time to purchase a car with cash. However the sales person, Chris Finneke and his colleague McNabe (mostly Mc Nabe) helped us by helping us by finding some great discounts that we did not know that we were qualified for. Both of them were very patient and I liked working with them. I felt a little sorry that they were so busy, perhaps the dealership should consider employing more sales people if possible. The process of test driving a car was definitely the best we had.. Chris went out in the car with us and showed us all of the features patiently. I was frustrated by the fact that I had to wait 3 days for the website to function correctly so that the salespeople could connect me with Q merit. I believe that this is on Chevy or the dealership Im not sure. I really like the car except for its spotty connection with my phone, Samsung s21. I am going to test with my sons Iphone today to see if it is an issue with the Samsung. The other thing I dont like is that the car did not come with a tire repair kit, like they do in Canada. I bought one with points for 16 bucks, though, not bad. Yesterday I drove for 40 minutes and the cars charge only went down 9 min, the brake regeneration system is very efficient. Overall I am very satisfied with the car which I named Cobalt. Thank you.

Horible horible horible ....I scheduled an appointment for full synthetic oil change. I scheduled it online at the Fremont Chevrolet website for $79.99 including tire rotation. I asked the advisor that calls himself José about a car wash and asked how much and he replied Ill get it washed for you.Then he comes up with an estimate of $110 charging me $20 for a tire rotation which is supposed to be included.I went to the manager Kevin, showed my confirmation with cost and also a coupon for an additional $20 from a Chevrolet.com email but José wouldnt honor it.José was very condescending and rude.After 2 hours I asked him about my car and he got on his station then tried to sell more services. Hes doing his job, I get it.I am guessing the oil change was done and sat back there or out back for an hour because they werent busy and they brought it up immediately.Joses attitude and behavior was appalling. He shouldnt be in any customer service position anywhere.NEEDLESS TO SAY THE TIRE ROTATION WAS NOT DONE AND THE CAR NOT WASHED AS PROMISED. I was actually willing to pay for the wash.Also, if the person ( service personnel ) needs to adjust the seat, they should not touch the height adjustment nor the seat back adjustment. They arent driving it on the expressway.

Brought my car in for a recall. Needed a recall certificate for the DMV. My service rep Adam let me leave without it. I specifically asked him if there was anyCertification I needed. He said no my receipt was enough it was not. I had to return and ask for it. It was a good thing I was still on Fremont. I reside in Oakland. The other thing was I was told I had a nail in my tire. They offered to repair my tire for the price of a new one. I told him I would take it to my own tire repair shop I did they found no nail. I did get the recall taken care of that was the most positive thing that happened. I purchased my car here. This company is the only shop to service my car. This is the last time I will bring my car here. FH Dailey will work on my car next time I need service they are closer to my home and I hope will give me better service.
Freemont Chevrolet’s service went above and beyond and I hope this will continue.I was here last week and had a caring and honest service experience (unlike other Chevy locations)! The person who received my car was courteous and my car was ready much faster than expected. I went for a run while waiting and the staff even suggested a route to take and offered to pick me up if I had issues.

I was sending my leased car for battery recall. However, Service Sales said the vehicle required the maintenance ($660.00+) since I am closed to the leased return target 10/2021. I double checked Chevy Sales when I picked up the car and confirmed that the maintenance is not necessary. its very disappointed for Chevy Fremont and the leasing program.

Based on our research, my husband and I had a feeling that the bearing on my 2013 volt failed. I first took my car to Stevens Creek Chevy. The service advisor was anything but helpful. He was more focused on telling me the cost of inspections rather than listening to my concerns and thoughts and even said that most the time when people do research on their own, they arent right. Which Im sure may be true, but that doesnt mean you should discount your customers idea of what the problem could be.Any who, I then took my car to Chevy Fremont, hoping for a better experience. I told Justin, the service advisor about the whining noise my car was making and was about to say that I believed it was the bearing when he beat me to the punch! THANK YOU JUSTIN! He was very knowledgeable and just having him actually listen to my concern was a breath of fresh air rather than just being told I may not know what Im talking about lol. Anyways, he was upfront regarding potential charges if it wasnt covered under warranty or if the problem wasnt the bearing after all. Luckily, the problem was the bearing and it was totally covered under warranty. They took care of my car, charged the battery for me, and ran it through the wash. Chevy Fremont restored my faith in dealerships and I will 100% be a repeat customer at this Chevy.

The advisor did tell me there would be a diagnostic fee, but they didnt tell me it would be $200, and they swiped quickly over the price for my signature. I signed out of trust because of many years doing my service there, but I now regret.also its ridiculous that it would take almost $1k to just change the driver side window switches. just ridiculous.

We, my wife and I, talked to a young salesman Anthony Ramirez, who listened our requirement and showed the trucks available at the store at that time. We test drove one Silverado 3500 HD High Country truck, that we liked the model. Anthony helped us to finalize the price after multiple rounds of negotiations and finally we settled down a sale price that we agree on. The manager Jason was very kind, who completed the paperworks immediately. There was a mistake on my paperwork, however he fixed the paperwork by the end of office hours. We found all the stuff at Fremont store are customer centric who are ready to help potential customers. Since the truck was not ready on that day, so Anthony delivered the truck at our home, an amazing experience. In overall, we had a very warm and welcoming experience at the store. Harpreet our service advisor kept us informed about progress on our car. He texted us regular updates . He had the software in the head unit updated to try and fix a flickering issue we were having. He told us to call back if we experienced any flickering. We did and he ordered a replacement unit and we are getting it installed this week. Car was available sooner that we expected. Agreed verbally to a price with the car salesman and while we were doing the paperwork to sign the contract he comes back and said the price in no longer valid. Is this how business is conducted? I wasted 2 hours of my precious time at this dealership. I see that other people have experienced the same as me before and so will never do business again with this dealer. Go buy a Tesla as you will never have to haggle and you know your final price as soon as you hit the submit button on the website. June was very helpful and saves me a lot of money on my purchase of the Chevy Bolt EV 2021.He explain very well the features of the Bolt and connectivity I highly recommend it to my friends and family. I can see that the Bolt EV is well built unlike my other GM car the Lumina and Silverado pick up which are really poorly made and did not last long....Hope GM change this time my Bolt EV might be different experience!!!
