I’ve been waiting 3 weeks to receive a shower chair. I got a call on a Sunday morning from someone wanting to confirm my address, which they’ve had for months and have sent other things to. The call to confirm the address was followed by this rep saying they’d send it out overnight but it wouldn’t be until the next day so I’d get it Tuesday. Absolutely ridiculous!!!!!

We chose One Call Service for fixing our crawlspace mold situation and our bathroom walls restoration. Marco was very responsible and professional. And he was very on time with responding, and respectful. Along with his crew. And the best part was that they made all the proper arrangements so that the house doesn’t get dirty. And they made sure to clean it all up before they left.Our work completed the day before yesterday. And hopefully we will stay satisfied with them because of the warranty they gave. I was so happy that I called One Call Services. Jaime was my project lead and came out to see the water damage and he gave me an estimate by EOD. They were available to start the next day. They always texted me when they were on their way, when they left for the day, they are extremely professional and do exceptional work. I still had not determined where the leak was coming from, although we thought it was the refrigerator. Even the leak inspector commented on what a great job they did getting the glue off of the floor after they removed the damaged wood. They took a tons of pictures and sent me a link that I could share for my insurance and Thermadore appliance. Also, one other comment was other companies I called first at the recommendation of my insurance company wanted to charge me $850 for Covid cleaning of the equipment and only had about 5 lines on the demo. The estimate I received from One Call was totally itemized (59 lines to be exact) and no COVID cleaning. I was able to use Docusign and have a record of my estimate online still. If you find yourself in the unfortunate situation with water/mold damage, I 100% recommend One Call Services.

Lots of companies tried to charge hundreds to come look with a moisture meter, others came without a moisture meter and quoted 2,000 to kill the mold without even looking to see if there was any. One Call Services came with a moisture meter and said the previous leak is all dry so theres no reason to do mold restoration. He seemed really honest and found mold in a different place and suggested the lowest-cost option for me to fix it. Overall great experience and am very glad I found them! Will definitely use them for any future mold issues.

They finished the job as promised and timely, they noted the problem wasnt as bad as first noted so on completion they reduced my original estimate. We hired One Call Services to do mold remediation and duct cleaning in our master bedroom at our home in Portola Valley. Jaime came out to give us a quote within a few hours of our call, explained things well as he walked through and promptly delivered us a very competitive quote that detailed, line by line, the components of the cost. No other company (we had four quotes) provided this level of detail. The team was professional, exceptionally clean, and extremely careful with our floors and walls as they moved themselves and equipment in and out. With respect to the work, they took detailed photos that they shared with us. The work area was expertly sealed; they use commercial grade HEPA filters and dehumidifiers. They have an exceptionally high work standards and do not pull out until all is restored like new. Weve never seen a team work harder while also being so clean and professional. They also leave their equipment running for very ample time to ensure air quality is back to normal and, unlike most companies they retest the air quality and will not remove their equipment until third party air quality tests show no elevated mold. The workers used a swiffer to clean all our floors from the entrance to our house all the way to the back where the work was!They are very responsive throughout and they go above and beyond. The night before the work started I texted Jaime with a question at 10pm and he called me right back to discuss! In addition, Jaime drove over a gallon of spore cleaner for us to wipe down the furniture in room that was removed prior to start of work and also left us with an additional gallon to wipe down adjoining rooms.I also noticed that they do duct cleaning and inquired, because our independent mold inspector recommended duct cleaning to improve our air quality. Turns out One Call has special pricing (that I couldnt find lower) while here doing the remediation. Weve lived in this home for over 30 years and have never had our ducts professionally cleaned. The team of two that worked so hard on our ducts was fantastic.One Call uses a great e-communication system too and their systems alert you when team is scheduled to arrive; when they are on their way; and with links to photos and payment. One Call makes an unfortunate situation into a better one because they are knowledgeable, professional, and gave us the confidence, at every step, that all is being done right.Because they were so good with the mold remediation/duct cleaning we have asked them to return and do the drywall repair and painting. Well do another post when that is completed.

When the scheduled inspector was not able to make our appointment, the regional manager, Marco Herrera, met the need. He was thorough and helpful and explained things we needed to know about controlling mold in our house. Turned out we didnt need further professional intervention. Instead of trying to talk us into expensive contract work that we didnt need he gave helpful advice based upon his wealth of experience. He even refused a gift-card for his trouble, and instead asked for our rating and recommendation, which I gladly give!

Had asked for their help in mold removal and restoration. Jaime was very professional. They started the work very next day. Completed work within the initial timeline they had given. They had to re-do some restoration work and wall paint is still a bit uneven. Also, not sure why they did not take away the foam which plumber had removed even after requesting for multiple times. Would recommend them for mold removal.

Marco is very professional. This is first time that I encountered mold remediation. Marco is able to fix my problem professionally and he only remove materials that are infested with mold. One Call Services and Jamie went above and beyond to clean up some mold that was caused by a slow water leak from behind my dishwasher that went unnoticed. They provided an estimate the day after the inspection and the price was reasonable and once the estimate was approved, they started work the next day. Updated their arrival time via text and sent a text after the days works was done for each visit. I had to have them come multiple times due to more mold being found after they already started work, but they were flexible with the schedule each time. They were always courteous and polite when entering the house and detailed when explaining the work they would perform. I hope I would never need their services again, but if I do, I would not hesitate in going back to once call services.

There seems to be a confusion among the team about the scope of the work on mold removal and water treatment. On the day of equipment retrieval after 3 days of drying, I found out the vinyl was not cut with mold and high moisture underneath. This was to my surprise, since the crew that did the estimate clearly told me that the vinyl needed to be removed. On the good side though, once they discovered this missing spot, they worked on it immediately and left the drying equipment for additional 2 days to treat it. The only downside is I have to live with that loud noisy drying machine for another 2 days.Update: Marko quickly addressed my comments to my satisfaction. Really appreciate their timely correction.
