This place knows what they are doing. Seriously. I started coming here last year and I am not going anywhere else. Excellent service and quality cut every time. They even use a straight razor to close cut the back of your neck. Very impressed.

I have really bad anxiety and getting haircuts used to be an awful experience so to find a place I truly feel comfortable says a lot about the venue and vibe. I have been getting my haircut here several years. I have gotten my haircut from all three barbers with excellent results every time. If you want a great haircut you have to come to East Patrick Barbershop.

I came in for my first time and it was fairly good. The fade was great compared to previous barbershops. However, Im a little upset at the fact that I asked for one inch off the top and he took off around four. He also cut the right side of my bangs too short so I have to comb it to the side. Other than that, the service was great and I will most likely be returning.

Went in for my usual with Jay, good kid, humble. Gives the place new blood, so far the only one that seems to change his hair style. We like since its a mix between classic and new. He gets down with fades and pompadour, the kids seem to like going to him too. The owners pretty cool too seems like they have a chill vive going on. Highly recommend! I go by appointment due to covid, the wife know them well too. Clean and good pricesUpdate: cuts here are just NOT the same. Sometimes tension is felt at the barbershop. Maybe its just me but weve had a hard time adapting after Jay left. He was our barber. His attention to detail left us with expectations. If you are looking for a no-frills no-nonsense mens haircut place that is reasonably priced, East Patrick barber shop is the place to go. Its small, does not offer a lot of amenities, but the barbers are very good. I have never been disappointed. They are the only barbershop that I go to. Reasonably priced. Very quick and efficient. It wasnt bad experience or anything. I went there thinking the haircut was going to be around $25 but when I was about to pay the barber said $31. I thought that was very strange. I just cant help but to think he overcharged me. The haircut was ok and it took him less than 10 min for the haircut. So the haircut is definitely not worh $31. I wouldnt really go back there personally.

Walked in at 10:30 on a Tuesday, metered street parking steps away was easy to find. 2 barbers working and one person waiting. I was in the chair in less than 10 min.David gave me a quick, comfortable clipper cut and an expert fade. Finished with a sharp neck shave with a single use straight blade refreshed just for me.David is clearly a classy guy and added a comfortable bit of conversation.I used the ATM inside but they do take cards.Many compliments on my cut and I know Ill be back for another.

Called Saturday morning and made an appointment for 1 PM. Arrived at 1:00 pm, got seated in a chair and was out by 1:25 PM. A great job by David. It is a great place to get a haircut.

Going in for my 4th haircut & shave since I first discovered them a couple of months ago. For decades, I wore my head bald because it was easier but my spouse prefers that my hair & beard frame my face. All the barbers at the shop are awesome. They have become “my barbers” at “my barbershop”.

First time visiting this shop I was recommended by a friend and I am so glad he did. I was always trying to find the right place to get the cut that I was always looking for specially a good price. Excellent price for an amazing cut. I am extremely happy with my haircut and I am definitely coming back. I will recommend this shop to all my friends and family members. I was able to see a few of the barbers cutting there clients hair while I was there and they all did an excellent job. All barbers are pretty good and very friendly.

Am visiting from out of town (my barber back home was on vacation), and am very satisfied with my experience. Its probably best to just use the parking garage like I did as parking in front of the shop is limited. I noticed their prices are much better than some others in the area too.

Best cut I could ever ask for. I previously tried the place across the street because it came with a complimentary beer, but east patrick cost 50% less, took 1/5 of the time, and my head looks 100x better. This has been my regular spot for quite some time now. I recommend it to any of my friends in the area. Even when I was in college I would wait until I came home for a weekend just to get my haircut here (where I knew I wouldnt be disappointed). Give the place a try, you wont regret it!

My go to barber shop in Frederick. Prices are reasonable, they accept walkins and it can get crowded. If you walkin around opening time on a Saturday or Sunday though it normally is very quick. All the barbers are friendly, skilled, and will help you out if you are unsure of how you want your hair cut.

Went in with high expectations, and wasnt disappointed. I normally dont go to barbershops, but the reviews here convinced me to try it out. The haircut was quick and one of the best Ive had in a long time. Not to mention the workers were friendly and it was very reasonably priced. I definitely plan on returning.

What a great place! Id seen the place before on my occasional visits to Frederick, but never stopped in. I got my hair cut by a Honduran gentleman at the chair furthest back. The best, most painstaking haircut Ive had in years, complete with the hot lather and straight razor touch-up around the back and sideburns, all for $15 + tip. And you can believe the tip was a nice one. Ill definitely be back again, even if it does mean driving 60 miles from my home.

If you are looking for a traditional mens barber shop that can give you a great cut, or straight edge shave, and not selling you shampoo or beard oil, then you wont find a better place in Frederick county.

This place is great! I came in with a photo (of Ruby Rose of course) and the barber replicated it beautifully. I was worried about my cut getting feminized or not going short enough but he did it just as I wanted and took my additional requests in stride. I think his name was Eduardo? And as a bonus the price was totally reasonable.Ill totally go back for another bomb haircut!

Today we went looking for a place to get my two year old sons hair cut. Ive been to a few places around Frederick and havent been to happy with the outcome mainly because my son has some major cowlicks. I read the reviews of this Barber shop and my family and I decided to give it a try. After a short wait Marcelo cut my sons hair and he did a really great job. Its the first time Ive ever been really happy with the outcome. I recommend this shop to anyone.

Just got my haircut by David and he nailed it. Best Ive had. I got tired of getting bad haircuts and started cutting my own. Have a wedding coming and figured I need to find a good barber and ended up finding the best. Easily the best barbershop of any Ive tried in Frederick or Montgomery County.

The barbers here really know what theyre doing. I was a little worried at first because I showed one picture to them of what I wanted and he nodded his head and just went to town. If youre looking for a quick, cheap, no frills haircut, this the place to come. They all do great fades too.

I had a hispanic guy that i believe his name was Jared but im not entirely sure about his name. He was extremely nice and cut my hair insanely well, not only did he listen to everything I wanted, but he made it better than I expected. 5 STARS!

Not the best I’ve seen, the guy literally asked me for tip that he doesn’t deserve and when I gave him 10% he shaked his head in my face. What an unprofessional thing to do, tip is earned based on a good service not because you just did your job. You provide the service and if you go beyond that then you deserve a tip. I didn’t think a good service was provided therefore I wasn’t planing to tip. Not sure where the 5 stars reviews are coming from but I think 3 is very fair.

This is my favorite barber shop. The people who work here are very friendly and quite obviously experienced. They will give you a cut perfectly to your liking without any mistakes. I have no fear of getting my hair messed up here. They work with kids, teends, adults, even girls. They are very efficient too, sometimes takes less than 10 minutes to finish with someone. The place is comfortable to be with a tv on for people waiting. If youre trying to find a reliable barbershop, go to them and see for yourself

Just got my hair (whats left of it) cut here. Great haircut, great price, great barber/owner, David. Turns out we went to the same high school, BCC. He knows a lot of the same folks that I do. We had a little memory lane conversation about Bethesda Back in the Day. A true old style barber shop. Ill keep patronizing this place even when I move back down county.

Im 71 and this was the worst haircut I have ever had. Barber could not follow a simple instruction - only 1/2 inch off. In a month or so my gorgeous wavy hair might be back!
