I had an appointment for Tuesday at 7:30 originally and went to Darrell Waltrip. While I was driving, I received another e-mail that said my appointment was on Wednesday at 7:30. I was a little distressed that I had driven out there and it had been changed to the next day. Brandon, who I have worked with numerous times, came out and greeted me. I told him what was going on and he said, no worries, that they would get me taken care of. I knew that I was going to have to wait awhile since work was being done on my brakes, so I went and waited in the waiting room. Brandon came in after about 20 minutes or so and told me what was going on with my car and I decided what I wanted to get done. As usual, he was very curtious and helpful and said that it could be a couple of hours, which was fine. He checked on my several times to make sure I was good and told me they were working on it. I got my car a couple hours later and the work had been done, my car had been washed and I was ready to go with no hassle or problems. Brandon walked me to my car and got the tags and stuff out and wished me a good day. It was a completely pleasant experience!! That is what has kept me coming back to Darrell Waltrip Honda for the past 15 years.
Jerry is a fantastic Service Representative who always works to help me get the service I need and identify the service I dont need. Derick was our Service Representative for Darrell Waltrip Honda when we needed diagnosis for issues with our Honda. This young man handled our waiting time there miraculously informing us throughout the diagnostic procedure. We noticed how all the Representative handled their customer in same way as we waited in waiting room. Very impressive how this dealership takes care of their customers. Mechanics diagnosed our problem in replacing our two faulty rear tires, rotating tires, balancing and making all the adjustments. They informed us that our Michelin tires had cupping in rear tires that still had 8/30 seconds tread. After several attempts to get Warranty, Derick was denied. The denial in our opinion was unacceptable. We highly recommend Darell Waltrip Honda to anyone traveling in Tennessee area. Thank you for your service.

My first time buying a car and I could not recommend them enough. I had Adam Bozeman as my sales rep he was absolutely wonderful! He had great integrity compared to the other car salesman. He helped walk me through everything and was very professional and courteous. The manager Jimmy was also great to work with. They went above and beyond to work with me on every aspect. I had a bad experience previously, but both Adam and Jimmy more than made up for it. I will Definitely buy a car from them again! Make sure to ask for Adam if you want good service.

We had an amazing experience with Darrell Waltrip Honda. We purchased a 2022 Honda Odyssey. The sales and finance staff were wonderful to work with - not pushy/salesy at all. After having the vehicle a few days, we experienced some mechanical issues. This team went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of, communicated extremely well every step of the way, and made sure we were happy with the end result. Mechanical issues happen - its a car. But, the way they handled the situation was exceptional. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.
The service department here is efficient and professional. The representative for us is Brandon. He is so helpful in communicating what is recommended (by miles or age of vehicle) for our Honda Accord.

Had a maintenance appointment scheduled for 7:15 AM for only an oil change. I asked if they could have the change done by 11:30 or 12 PM since my lunch is the only break I have during the work day. Representative told me that that time should be absolutely no problem! I ended up getting back there later than I originally estimated (arrived at 1:20), only to be informed that the car was not done yet and had not even made it into the shop! Only giving two stars for the kindness and apologetic nature of the rep. Its ridiculous that it takes over 6 hours to do an oil change, especially since I scheduled an early appointment for that exact reason, AND gave a time of when I needed to have it done by. I understand being busy, but the actual issue here appears to be time management. Would not recommend coming here for service.EDIT: Thankful for the kindness of Vince! My car was finally done at 2:20 PM, and he offered to have someone come drop my car off at my workplace instead of me having to find a ride once again. Very nice and considerate. Thank you!
Easy car buying experience. Found the car I wanted through a 3rd party site. They contacted me for an appointment. They had the car ready for me to test drive. They had no hoops to jump through. Came back the next day to pick up my car and the paperwork was all ready to sign and go.
Really appreciated the time and individualized attention I received at Darrell Waltrip Honda. I visited a number of other dealerships before going to Darrell Waltrip Honda and this was the only place where I received the level of respect and sameness in dealings (regardless of my age and gender).They did an amazing job working with my wishes and budget and I walked away (with a vehicle) that I felt good about. Im pretty sure if you looked up the word amazing in the dictionary, you will find a picture of Nick Ward. Nick went absolutely above and beyond for us on our hunt to find an Odyssey for our growing family. It took us weeks to even find a dealer in our area that had used one, but once we got to Darrell Waltrip it had already been sold. They didnt even have a new one for us to test drive! These things - new and used - were flying off the lot and Nick felt so bad for us. He called us as soon as they got in a new 2022 before theyd even put it on the lot because we had never even driven an Odyssey before and he was determined to make sure we were comfortable and that we made the right decision. He worked so hard to look everywhere, across all of Hendrick Autos other locations, to find us what we were looking for at a price we could afford. They finally got a lease turned in that had more miles than I originally wanted, and Nick and the rest of the team worked tirelessly to get it to a place we were comfortable with. We would absolutely recommend the team at Darrell Waltrip to anybody. Went in for an oil change this past weekend and the staff was great as always! Rick was very pleasant and made the process quick and easy. About an hour after the service, my tire light came on, and I wasnt sure why. I called Rick, and he made sure to make time for me to come back for inspection. He assured me that everything was fine. I was offered a great deal on trading in my 11/2 year old 2020 leased, Honda Accord, with less than 7,000 miles, and driving away with a 2021 Honda Accord. I went to Darrell Waltrip for a basic oil change & inspection. The guy that was checking with everyone as they came in was very nice, and did let me know my advisor would be out soon! They did take their time with me and did not make me feel rushed. The wait is very long. So someone like me trying to take care of the car on my lunch break is inconvenient. Not their problem I work the same hours as them! The dealership is currently in a mess due to the construction, but other than that the waiting area was decent! I will be returning for all my service needs as I did like they dont push other service on you-They tell you what is recommended, but letting me know instead of pushing makes me want to do just as they say! :)
Really easy and great experience. Went in to get a car for my mother. We had been to several dealers in area and everyone mostly was pretty nice. Mark Bobo really took the time to listen and find the car we wanted. There was not much selection in hybrid as you can imagine but he offered several options with a low key sales methodology. After several test drives on different models and questions on trim we found the right car. Funny thing is I was really not actively looking and he did a great job of offering me options as well that I ended up getting a car as well. Sales manager was very responsive as well as Mike from the finance side. Really a no pressure feeling from start to finish and very much appreciated over pushy in my face sales people. When I had a question they answered it and when I was talking to my wife or mother they backed away to give us privacy. Do not regret the choice to go to this dealer. My only and I mean only thing is I just wish they were closer so I could use their service dept as well

David Needham was on top of the inventory situation for us and was fantastic with communication. He went above and beyond to get us the vehicle we wanted. The chip shortage means having an attentive and responsible salesperson keeping abreast of the arriving inventory is essential. He followed up after the sale offering assistance or to answer any questions about the vehicle.

I had an appointment to have my oil and filter changed on Friday, September 11, at 10am, with Rick Nicholls. I was greeted upon my arrival, and then Rick came out to confirm the work to be performed. As Rick said, 1 hour and 15 minutes later, my car was washed and had the oil work completed. This is my second time dealing with Rick for an oil change, and both have been stellar. I highly recommend Waltrip and Rick Nicholls.

I usually DREAD going to a dealership to buy a new car, but this was the best experience Ive ever had. Had a recall on my vehicle no biggie. Took it in and service tech text me that other things needed to be done due to time and mileage. He wanted to change brake fluid, transmission fluid, air filter and cabin air filter. I told him no and his reply was oh strange. The air filter was $76. All together it was close to $700 in services they suggested. But for the tech to send oh strange makes me think twice before buying another vehicle from there. This is the 3rd we have purchased from them. Need to train your service techs to not be rude.

After the horrible experience I had at a dealership in Columbia, I was a bit hesitant to work with any dealership for new vehicles. However, these guys sold me a brand new civic that I am in love with. Julian was the man! He never pressured me into buying anything. Had some strange computer glitches of error lights. Went in and the service men couldnt find anything wrong and no answers as to why. They took my car in and did all sorts of recalls on it. They were extremely kind and understanding about the glitches and assured me nothing was wrong.

We were on vacation traveling across Tennessee when the CRV would not start . It was a Sunday and no shops were opened so I made a mad dash to setup the appointment at the service department. Fortunately Derek was able to get the diagnosis ( thank the Lord it was just a battery) and we were back on the road by 11 am to head down to Lynchburg. The team was spot on with the fix and got us back on the road with minimal outage for our vacation. Mic appreciate they were able to get us in.

But Im still giving em a 5 star because of the no-pressure visit, and It was a long, busy afternoon, but the sales manager, Jimmy Harris, and the GM, Bill Berryman, were both aware of the purchase and made themselves available . Darrell Waltrip Hondas service department is PREDATORY. I went in for an oil change and they completed a regular check up of the car. I was not sure where I was on general maintenance and left my records in the glove compartment of the car, so this was appreciated. My service rep said he could SEE in inspection that I needed brake fluid and transmission fluid service as well as a new cabin air filter. I said I would do this later as I was on a time crunch. When I got back to my records, my transmission fluid service had been done by another facility less than a year ago (its a 60,000 mile service). There is no reason that I would need this other than to charge me for unnecessary services. Im glad I kept my receipts and I will never go back.

Had an issue with the drivers side window after a recall. Booked an appointment for 11:00 Friday. Got there a little before 11:00. Asked how long it would be before I know what the problem is and was told at least 2 hours. Asked why so long and they said they are taking cars as they come in to which I replied I had an appointment. Appointments mean nothing if someone came in before you and I was told I could take my car to another dealer if I wanted. So go back home call another dealer and schedule another appointment a week later after wasting 3 hours driving back and forth . Came back in at 1:30 and there was no status so I had to rented a car. Drove home, a 1 1/2 hour drive and still no status so I called at 4:05. Still no but said I would be called back. So the car costs a minimum of $35 a day not sure if its the same during the weekend. Received a call back at 4:30 and said the part is $150 and labor is $250. Found out that service is scheduled through the Call Center and the service department has nothing to do with scheduling and getting the cars into service on any schedule. Asked the guy why should I buy the car I just test drove when I can get that car from any Honda dealer. I buy a car based on the car I want and the service I get from where I purchase it.Suggestion to anyone, check other dealers with reputable service departments and fairly accurate schedules. I have purchased 2 vehicles at Darrell Waltrip but it will not happen again.

I got my car appraised somewhere else before I went here thinking that this place would be close enough to the $$ amount to make the convenience of the trade in worth it. They offered $3,000 under and I was still willing to go through with the sale only to find out that the numbers the 1st sales lady showed me were only estimates. They didn’t take our info for the credit check until close to an hour of sitting in 2 different offices. By then our kids were crying while several employees ran(yes they were running) in and out of the trailer asking questions I had already answered to someone else. We’ve been to 2 different dealerships (bought 3 different cars) pre-covid with little credit history, with babies in tow and the waits were never that long. This place is not straightforward at all and this one very pushy lady came back to tell me that the manager did us a favor by bumping our trade in value up. I took a chance on this dealership only because of the good reviews and because it had the car at the lot. By the way it would’ve been a better approach to offer us cars similar to the one we wanted if we had already said twice that the monthly payments they were showing us were out of the question. The moment the lady started telling me to think about the kids I was already ready to walk out.

Darrell Waltrip Honda covered the cost.Repairs were done promptly, I received my text message and came to pick up my car that was also washed!While I cant speak about service prices I would recommend Darrell Waltrip Honda on basis of efficiency, convenience and overall experience.

We’ve always had good experience and good service for our car at Darrell Waltrip Honda in Franklin. Service advisers Brandon Tidwell and Kwame (can’t recall last name) have always been attentive and explain items that sometimes come up or that the mechanic notices during service. But I also like that they don’t do the ‘power up-sale’ which can be really irritating.
First time purchasing a Honda and doing business at this dealership. We did a lot of online stuff and texted back & forth with Mark Bobo. It was very streamlined. Once we had all the numbers, we proceeded to the dealership to finish the details.Our finance manager was Gary and he was very professional. Once we left his office to leave, Mark Bobo had the car pulled up with the windows tinted already, washed and detailed and we were gone.I would do business with them again and recommend to friends, family and colleagues. I had a wonderful experience at Darrell Waltrip Honda. When I walked in, everyone wore masks (which made me feel safer about being there in person). Luis B., my sales person, was very patient and knowledgeable. We had a lot of questions and he answered each one of them. I needed some work done on my car before taking it home and they gave me a rental to get around in until my car repairs were finished. The staff was very nice. The finance person (I believe his name was George) helped me to find the best interest rate for my loan (better than the one I was pre-approved for). I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone.

Great Work- Professional people - never on time with delivery. Let me explain- I have had service here multiple times and they will tell me your call will be ready at 4 pm as an example. Every time I have arrived, met with the service advisor all of which is very professional. But 4 pm turned into driving off at 4:30 This is a reoccurring theme All thee service calls same thing.But I would factor in that if you do service here dont show up until 30 minutes PAST the time promised
Original Hankook tires on my 2019 CRV were cupping and causing vibration at 10,986 miles. Dealer said all four were cupping, but the two on the rear were worse than the two on the front. Dealer could not identify any cause. The dealer moved the front tires to the rear and put two new tires on the front. I next went to a Hankook tire dealer and was informed that cupping was not considered a tire manufacturing defect. I drove about 800 miles and took the car back to the dealer because I could still feel vibration. I also considered to two cupped tires on the rear a safety issue. I also explained that having two defective tires and two new tires would prevent normal rotation because I would never want to rotate defective tires to the front because I believed that would create an even more dangerous situation. The dealer again inspected the vehicle and still could not find anything that might be causing the cupping. The dealer replaced the rear tires with new ones.
