The doctors at El Dorado are extremely knowledgeable and caring; theyve taken wonderful care of our cats and Im grateful for their expertise. The staff here is exceptional, too - its always easy to work with them.We love this clinic so much that weve continued to take our cats there even after moving 40 minutes away!

Dr Bashaw is awesome! Really knowledge, trustworthy, and informative. You can tell she really cares about your pet! Most vets just give you a price list and dont bother explaining options. She takes time to ensure you understand what alternatives are available.

We are so lucky to have a vet so close to us and what a loving, supportive team. All the staff is professional and empathetic. Weve had several pet emergencies this year and each time, they have seen us the same day. Dr. Wallitsch always takes her time with us and listens to our concerns.All the staff there clearly love animals and they interact so lovingly with our pets. They always tell us how sweet they are after their visits. It really makes us feel like theyre in good hands. We would recommend this clinic to anyone in Fountain Hills. Dr. Marshall and the entire staff are heros to my family. I called them in an emergency situation in a hysterical panic thinking my dog was dying in my arms. Kelsey did such an amazing job keeping me calm while we rushed him there as fast as we could. He was bit by a rattlesnake not once, but twice. He is smiling and walking with all four limbs today because of their quick action and in depth knowledge. We are now happy to call El Dorado our main veterinarians.

I found Dr. Bashaw at El Dorado Animal Hospital three years ago. She is fantastic. The previous vet had misdiagnosed both my dogs multiple times and had them on unnecessary antibiotics and other meds. When Cupcake came to El Dorado, she was losing her hair along with some other unpleasant symptoms. Dr. Bashaw diagnosed her with Cushings Disease and has since managed it amazingly well. Cupcake was soon feeling much better and regrew her beautiful coat. When she suffered a nasty dog bite recently at daycare, everyone in the office was very empathetic even though they see injuries all the time. Dr. Bashaw also does a great job with my other poodle, Chloe, administering stem cell therapy. I cant say enough how much I appreciate Dr. Bashaw, her techs Lacy, Kelsey, Cassandra and Alyssa at the front desk.

Once youve met Dr. Bashaw, itll be difficult to trust any other vet with your animals care. Shes that good!I first met Dr. Bashaw when she was just a regular employee of a vet practice in Scottsdale. I had brought my adorable rescue Labrador into see her and was immediately impressed with her professionalism and attention to detail, not only in the exam room but in follow-up emails.Then there was her own special way of giving an animal a shot. They never see it coming and never know when its over because to them, it never happened in the first place. Trivial, perhaps, but it shows the degree to which Dr. Bashaw cares about the comfort of her patients.Her interest in animal dentistry is not to be ignored. It was her expertise that allowed us to totally forgo extraction of up to four teeth where other profit-driven vets had insisted that the animal was suffering. Her examination proved otherwise.I am so excited that Dr. Bashaw has her own practice opened in Fountain Hills. Anyone with animals in the area needing care should not hesitate to get to know Dr. Bashaw and her staff. Top-shelf animal practice at reasonable rates.Thanks Dr. B! Thanks for everything.

There is nothing worse than calling your vet in an emergency situation during regular business hours and they tell you take you loved family member to an emergency hospital. It was very apparent they just didn’t care and did not want to show any kindness to even assess the situation. I will be moving all 3 of my animals immediately. Lack or kindness or compassion.

I cannot begin to tell you how amazing the staff at Else Dorado Animal Hospital is. Unfortunately I had to use their emergency services to put my German Shepherd to sleep, but this staff went above and beyond! I had originally called because I couldnt get my dog into my car by myself and they tried to see if they had someone available. My fiance ended up getting home in time so I had called to let them know I had help and was on my way. Once I walked in the door they greeted me and knew who I was. They helped my fiance carry my girl inside and took us to a private room. The doctor came in right away and explained everything to me. She gave my girl the first part of the medicine and she went at that time. They gave us as much time as we needed to say our goodbyes. I accidentally forgot to grab my girls collar so I had called them and they had it waiting and ready for me as well as her blanket. The staff was so polite, understanding and supportive in this bad time, I truly couldnt have asked for anything better. I also received a card from them today with their sympathy and a note that said they hope my girl rests in peace.. Rest in peace Sammy. It was very touching and a sweet jesture. Thank you so much! You all were amazing! Although we were there for something heart breaking, I would highly recommend El Dorado Animal Hospital!

If youre new to town or looking for a veterinary practice for any reason, you wont regret going to El Dorado. Kind, competent staff and doctors who care as much about your pets health as you do.

I want Megan to know we appreciate her professionalism in helping our beloved dog Axel yesterday. He is now catching frisbees thrown by angles..I called 4 different vets in Payson area to put Axel out of his pain none had the time. Called El Dorado and they said to bring him in right away. We have found our new vets with El Dorado. Thank you Megan for your compassion.

Weve been clients of Dr. Bashaw and her amazing team since a quick Google search for an emergency appointment for one of our cats in 2012 brought up her name. That visit, and every visit after for all of our furbabies, has been top-notch! The front desk staff is friendly and takes a genuine interest in all the animals that come through their door. When we lost our oldest dog suddenly, and told them during an appointment for another pet, they sent a heart-felt sympathy card that touched us immensely. And when it became obvious that the cat that first brought us to her door needed to be gently let go, she and her staff treated us and our beloved Hal with love and respect during that very difficult decision and process. We wouldnt dream of bringing any of our furbabies to anyone else for their care.

Ive been using el dorado animal hospital for about 6 years now. The staff there is very helpful and professional. I cant trust any other vet with my pets so I choose to come here as they treat me and my dogs like family ..

Both Dr. Bashaw and Dr.Marshall are excellent. The entire staff is pleasant and competent. Several vets in Fountain Hills overcharge you knowing that you will do anything to save your pet. This is unprofessional. We no longer deal with those vets, and we are super happy to be working with the team at El Dorado Animal Hospital!

We have three dogs and a cat and Dr Bashaw and the entire staff take such good care of all of them.. It is more like going to visit Family... There is a lot of love and sincere caring about my babies. Great hours---- Anytime there is a concern and results come back from the Lab Dr. Bashaw calls to follow up. Amazing! Love this place.. My 14 year old Baby, Digger recently crossed over the Rainbow Bridge.Dr. Basha performed the Euthanization, and instead of performing this in a sterile exam room, she offered us a very comfortable and private room that allowed my Baby to go so peacefully in a relaxed environment. She explained the process step by step and made sure Digger was comfortable throughout the process.I am so grateful to Dr. Basha, and to Liz & Jenny at the front desk. They made him feel very safe and loved right up until the end when he took his last breath in my arms. I know he is at peace and so am I.In the event you are faced with this very difficult decision, I would highly recommend Dr. Basha and her outstanding staff. They are fabulous!

We trust the care of our three fur-babies and one grand fur-baby to El Dorado. The service is excellent and the doctors and staff are loving and compassionate.
