Got charged for annual fee without my knowledge. Saw that happen to a lot of people. Trying to cancel the membership immediately did not help. Probably a system well organized.Anyone was able to make them wave those fees?

Very nice people!! Helpful from moment 1 on day 1! I was in my feelings about starting in a gym being that I am a big girl and all… I was feeling pretty down on myself… but they welcomed me right in, encouraged me, and helped lift my spirits about the whole thing. This was a GREAT start to a new beginning!! I’m thankful for that.

The membership is great. And they have classes for your needs. The staff is great.

Very helpful and friendly staff. One of the cleanest facilities Ive been too, they have a ton of equipment so theres no waiting around to use a machine while someone else finishes a set. I really enjoy the womens only area which is secluded in the back of the building.

I hope that normal hours will resume soon before the fall semester starts. 24 hours Monday-Thursday was a great deal ( it would be better if was 24hrs for the whole week though!!). As of now, hours are reduced and the gym is always packed from 6-8 pm on weekdays and I would prefer to stay in the gym a little longer than past 10 instead of waiting for equipment and rushing through my workouts before closing.

This place has a great of amount of equipment and maintains its cleanliness, but it would be better if they could extend the hours from Fri-Sun. Absolute Fitness just down the road has longer hours on those days, and Im thinking about switching if hours arent extended during the fall of this year. Other than this issue everything else is awesome and I wouldve rated this place higher if it werent for the hours.

Feels different that 24hr fitness & planet fitness and I mean that in a good way! The equipment is more up to date at Fitness Connection, its cleaner and I can actually breathe in there. They have a section just for women. They arent just after your money. Staff is cool..

Large selection of work out equipment, lots of treadmills, lots of dum bells and freestyle weights. The locker room is huge, i think they have a sauna, its was out of service during the pandemic. The staff there is very friendly and very positive. They also have a few work out products available for purchase like pre-work out and select energy drinks.

Good basic gym for the money. However their trainers, coaches, etc are very expensive. Customer service associates were friendly, but I did not sense a depth of knowledge about workouts and their effect on improving health. Do have a roll-in shower for mobility challenged persons.

The amount of machines this gym has is crazy, private gym for girls, clean lockers, a basketball court, staff is friendly machines seem to always be clean, I’ve never had a bad experience with this gym and I truly like it, specially for the price it has and all the things it offers you is amazing!!!I think by far is one of the best gyms in the DFW area!

I can’t even explain everything negative that has happened at this gym. But some of the people who work there (not all) treat there guests very poorly. I was once told by a staff member that I couldn’t take a selfie in the gym mirror even though I had seen other people doing it, and I myself had done it before! I understand not taking pics in the locker room but I was in the main gym in a corner too myself. It was very embarrassing for the employe to say loudly “You can’t take pictures in here” then roll her eyes at me and walk away. I have now canceled my membership due to this and other reasons.

Be Warned, This place is ok at best if you have Money to throw away that is, but know this I would not advise giving them any type of credit card or debit card, I broke my knee and had to cancel my membership, and you would think after that they wouldn’t charge your card anymore, and that exactly washtub and honest company does, Not this place i canceled several Months ago, the next month after canceling they charged my card so I called and they said my account was still active so I cancelled again long story short this happened again this month, I’m disputing through my bank, So Save yourself the stress 🤪

Joined recently and have really been enjoying the gym so far. Large beauitful workout area with womans only section. A great Basketball court and pretty much anything you could want for getting into shape.

Very impressed with how the gym has been handling the pandemic. I cancelled my other gym membership and chose to stay here because of the professionalism and taking the proper sanitation precautions seriously. They’ve done a great job creating an environment where everyone pitches in to clean off the equipment. Staff members make the occasional rounds to ensure that gym goers are wearing their masks (I catch a lot of the young lifters lowering the masks occasionally below their noses in between sets, but there’s only so much the staff can do). Overall I am grateful that FC made it possible for people to workout safely again. Thank you for all that y’all do.

Please make the gym 24 hours 7 days a week. We are living in a pandemic and it would be a lot smarter if you guys would adjust your hrs as a whole so everybody won’t be working out at the same time.

I had a great experience with the staff and the environment. I even had a trainer. But due to her negligence I had pay an extra month than what I wanted to. I received little help in this matter.

Wrecked a motorcycle couldnt do anything for almost 6 months n was unable to physically make the call to cancel, charged me all kinda if maintenance fees, wouldnt help me out even tho I called 1 day after a 50 dollar charge.. then said they will have to charge me 1 more time because they require a 30 day notice.. crooks..

Clean affordable good amenities great gym. Only drawback is the hours which used to be 24. Hopefully will go to that soon

The kids club is still closed and they have no idea when they will reopen it. Everytime we ask they have no clue or avoid talking about it. It is very frustrating for us the parents paying for a membership and not being able to enjoy working out. Dissapointed...

The gym is amazing! They are really taking these safety measures serious, I’m surprised I saw the general manager out on the floor with a spray bottle disinfecting the entire free weight area! (His name is “Beware” or something like that. He also has some cool hair.) I mean who does that? You would think he has something better to do. But that just shows his character and leading his team to ensure everyone is safe and people like myself can feel comfortable and get a good workout in. Love this gym!! I cancelled my membership at the beginning of Covid.They’re still actively charging me for one of their employees mistake.Do not join this gym.I got charged the “annual” fee after being a member a couple of months, then got charged the same annual fee less than a year later. I’ve been on hold an hour and a half and still no answer.You’re better off anywhere other than this gym

Be warned if you want to terminate it takes 30 days. I tried to cancel mine last month while it was still frozen and he said to just wait a month and come at the end of August to cancel. I went in today to cancel and it takes 30 days to cancel. So I’m being charged for a month I won’t be using it because of the gloves and mask requirement. Awesome!! (And no, it’s not just the $10 plan.)

Staff is nice. Temporary hours after the lockdowns are ongoing. Don’t see the local FCs ever becoming 24 hours. Forest Hill location has a better layout and is cleaner.

The gym is big and great I give that 5 stars. Very clean. When we went in we were going For our one week trial that we were referred for which she said they didn’t do one week trials but after we paid our enrollment fee she wanted us to refer people for a one week trial. She got pretty upset when we didn’t refer anyone to her. She also went on and on about how it was just $10 to start. But when we went to check out it was somehow $25. So customer service isn’t the best which really is not big deal at this point we’re there to work out not to chat with them.As for the kids club, the people are great with my 3 month old and 18 month old. The only reason for 2 stars was that they call me every 10 minutes for the smallest stuff like ‘he’s crying’ or he wants to be held. I understand it’s free so I can’t expect the best service but don’t have a kids club if you don’t wanna watch our babies for just an hour while we work out for a bit. The main reason we got the membership there was because we heard great things about the kids club. Don’t get me wrong the people are great!! But it’s hard to get a straight 30 min work out in.

This is my favorite gym. Lots of machines to work out with. A cycle room. A classroom. 2 free weight areas. A wall squat area. Loads of treadmills, elliptical and step machines. A sauna and a beautifully equipped private exercise room designated exclusively for women. There is a lounge area in the womens bathroom with ample showers and grooming space. There are huge TVs everywhere and humongous ceiling fans for circulation. In addition to all of that... membership is $10 per month. I got it on sale, but I hear they have the sales frequently. Oh yeah, they are open 24hrs.

To begin with, the staff is not friendly at all. Of all the people who work there, only two are friendly. The girl in the early morning with blonde hair, but unfortunately she is not there! She was very friendly and always smiled at customers. But the other smaller girl who also has dyed blonde hair is very bad at serving customers. It doesnt matter if its 5 in the morning, the customer comes first !!! Staff never say hello, they never solve problems ... you should change the whole staff.On the other hand, they do not control all the people who go without a mask in the gym. If they dont care about their health, I do care about mine! The gym doesnt encourage customers to mess with machines and it really sucks when you go to a machine and its full of sweat. Now there is no one monitoring that biosafety protocols are being complied with.

Gym is overall nice with plenty of equipment and helpful staff. Also super easy to cancel your membership if need be!

Great Workout Facility 💯

Since I’ve been working out with Dave, I have been making wonderful progress on much needed strengthening. My balance has greatly improved. When I started, my heart rate was 117 just walking in the front door and has since dramatically improved. Kudos for great workouts.

Fitness connection is a great facility for all levels of fitness, the staff is great and friendly! They have tons of equipment for any type of workout you can think of. The facility is very clean and well taken care of, i would recommend this gym to anybody!

I prefer this place to PF, especially since I like lifting weights (dont try weight lifting at PF). Better lighting, music, and crowd. Even during peak hours there is space. Good variety of machines and equipment The TV programs even pump me up. This place is very affordable. They have a basketball court, non coed sauna, classes, womens workout area. They have 7 day trials too. Ask for Vanessa if youre signing up. I guess I only wish they had towel service but I also cant complain at 10/month.

Absolutely love this gym! Friendly staff, wide selection of machines and my favorite, the sauna! Love to call this my home gym and will continue to come here. Definitely recommend this gym!

Gym is nice, clean and spacious. Lots of room and machines so it never feels crowded. Management sucks though... I kindly asked one of the front desk workers that I wanted to cancel my membership and she rudely just gave me a piece of paper and said to do it online. The cancellation policy requires you have to mail them a written notice 30 days in advance, so they will charge you another months worth even if you’re not gonna use the gym. Such a tedious and extra way just to simply cancel a membership.

Shout out to Bewar for the awesome customer service. We switched from planet fitness and could not be happier here. Customer service has been outstanding since day one. If you havent joined Fitness Connection your missing out. Great job Hulen location.

The worse customer service I have experienced at a gym! I want to cancel my membership!! Its a beautiful facility but as for the people that work there. They put very little efforts in making sure that you are happy. This is the first gym I have been to that does not care about members being satisfied. Better attendants and management need to be hired. Ill get the names of those who lacked. Mesquite location is A LOT BETTER!

The staff had great energy. All of the equipment is kept in good shape. There is also enough equipment for everyone, I didnt have to wait on any.

Its cheap, the staff is friendly. Great for a gym.However, if I had to complain about one thing its that I wish they would keep wet wipes instead of paper towels and spray bottles for keeping the equipment clean.

It can get crowded due to covid forcing them to close alot of machines but the place is clean and the machines are up to date

Ric was very welcoming and friendly, helped me upgrade my membership with ease and had me on my way, amazing service will be coming here often very clean as well.

I like the gym itself and the staff is great and helpful but they dont have anything in place for mothers with special needs children. My daughter is not able to attend the kids area due to her age but shes also not able to work out. This typically just results in me paying the fee month after month and barely being able to attend the gym. Wish theyd put something in place or even a discounted membership so she could walk on the treadmill etc. My daughter is 20 and too old for the kids club.

Nice gym and always busy. I like the concept and space of the gym. Im curious as to why its taking so long with the 24 hrs? On every review they are saying the same thing about it. Its already 8 months. Id rather for them to be honest and say it is not going to happen. At PF I liked that I could go at any time.

Place is brand new as of 1/5/2019. I have gone twice, and this place is awesome. I currently have a membership at the 24 hour fitness, which for my wife and I is about 65$ a month, and this place is 1/3 the price, and twice the gym. There are, so far, plenty of squat racks and flat benches, and plentiful machines for resistance and weight training. I haven’t had to wait for a machine yet, as there are plenty of each kind. The equipment is the same as was in lifetime fitness in my Austin gym, and this place is 1/6th of the price. Kids area is free with membership, and restroom/locker rooms are nice and new still.update 4/8/2019:The gym is still nice about 3 months later, the staff is friendly and the facility is mostly clean. However, I will say that I have been using my 24 hour fitness gym about 60% of my gym visits, over fitness connection. Reason: This place gets crazy busy after normal work hours. The parking lot fills up, there are lots of high school kids with mediocre gym etiquette standing around, and lots of people sitting on machines working out their thumbs on their phones. It is still pretty good if you are going during off hours, when I go before work there are only about 50 people in the gym, but it doesnt open until 5 which may not give some enough time to work out before work.

Their cancellation policy is as criminal as it gets. They require you to send in a written cancellation request that does not actually process the day you send it. Instead, it takes effect 30 days after it is received. Email and phone cancellations are not accepted, only snail mail. And they will claim they did not receive it every time if not sent certified. My wife and I moved away to a place that did not have fitness connection. We ended up paying for multiple months afterwards just because we couldnt cancel. They lock you up as much as they can. They deserve to go under for how difficult they make it for valued club members to leave.

Up untill recently Ive worked out at the Fitness Connection in Arlington and overall had a positive experience free classes free kids club and a variety of state of the art of equipment however the Hulen location truly blew me away I still cant believe its only $10 a month!!!!

It’s a great gym! They have a Kid’s club that is included with the membership. All classes are included and you just walk into them. The women’s area includes the same equipment as the main floor and boasts a movie theater as well. The locker rooms are pristine and offer restrooms, dressing rooms, a digital scale and a dry sauna.The gym will go 24hours in February which will be a big plus. Otherwise hours are limited as they finish staffing and training the employees.

Got there this morning (5am) for a workout class. A big crowd is sitting outside the door. No one showed up to open the gym! Came a few weeks ago to the body pump, class (5am) is cancelled with no notification.They have an app, that has an announcement section. Nothing. Yall need to get it together!

Went in today for the first time, there was a you lady by the name of Drea, who was very polite and helpful she smiled the entire time. Made me feel comfortable my first time at the gym. I will definitely be coming back.

Good facility. Its clean most of the time, but the spray bottles arent always clean or stocked. Some of the employees have good customer service, but not many.

I love it ! Everyone so helpful, especially ric, helped me and my friends set up our memberships and everything 😁 can’t wait to keep going back !

Update. Again no one is here to open the gym...when a gym opens near me I will be leaving this one. Should have two employees opening the gym so this didn’t happen again.I love this gym but I am currently in the parking lot at 533 AM and no one is here to open it. I have already taken my pre workout as well. I’ve been coming here for about a month and if this happens again I will be leaving this gym. I hope they correct this and ensure doesn’t happen again.
