Bought a Washer/Dryer stacked unit as we live in an RV and needed space. Eric was very helpful in assisting us as we needed the unit to be 110v and propane for dryer. He helped us pick out the right unit (we did have to order propane kit and have a plumber come install it). Very satisfied with product. We had to have some warranty work done with the belt on the dryer. Benny and Jason were prompt on coming out and took care of the issue in no time at all. Benny shared a little knowledge on the unit which will be helpful in the future. Great team and products. As soon as we are ready to move into out next home we will buying our appliances here.

I was shopping around for a Maytag dishwasher to replace the one I currently have. I shopped all the big box stores in the area and was unable to either locate one or if I did, the prices were extremely high.Years ago I purchased some appliances at Oliver Dyer, so I thought I would give them a call. I talked to a salesman named Ben and he was very helpful. Not only did they have the dishwasher I was looking for, they were significantly less expensive than other prices I was quoted.In addition to that, their installation cost was extremely reasonable. Ben has been able to move up the installation date, so Im very happy with that also. Highly recommend Oliver Dyer and I will use them for any other appliance purchases I need in the future.

I called and wanted to purchase a dryer but it was getting close to their closing hours. I wanted to give a heads up and called letting them know I’m on the way to pick it up. A buying customer mind you… He proceeded to tell me warehouse locks up before actual closing time and I couldn’t talk to anyone that would help me. He can sell it to me but I couldn’t pick it up because the warehouse locked up before closing. A little disturbing. I proceeded to let them know I’ll take my business somewhere that will accommodate a buying customer. Stay away is my recommendation. Thanks.

My dish washer flooded, so our land lord called this company to come see what was wrong with it, he told us the issue was that it was old and that it may be better to use dish washer pods rather than liquid Cascade. We took the technicians advice, however, he told our land lord that we used Dawn rather than detergent making a complete mockery of us to who we were renting our house from.He also continued to complain about us to our land lord over issues not involving the dishwasher or his work at all. Overall he made us feel very uncomfortable while in our house and made some back handed and accusatory comments. I would not recommend using this company for a service or repair, there are plenty of better options in Fort Worth.

Our GE induction cooktop blew a burner and a circuit board. We needed a replacement fast, but every other place we called said they were backordered 3 months. To whom it concerns -I hate for this review to be so negative. That stated, I have done business directly, or with my family for the past 30 years. I have always recommended them until now.I have been paying for an appliance repair that has taken them almost 90 days to throw their hands in the air. My $$$ and my time are lost.In my opinion I have been nothing but patient.I have had their repairman out to my house 8 times where they performed 3 different repairs - 4 of those visits were evidently to visit and eyeball and never correctly investigate what the issues were. I have asked for different technicians to show up for second opinions - but they have ignored my MULTIPLE requests on that simple courtesy. The technician was professional, but he was human. I am not going to blame him - I just believe he was missing something - much like the person taking either my voice mail down, or to whom I directly was speaking when I specifically stated I wanted someone else to investigate the issue.I was not satisfied with the work the technician provided. This was due to the multiple visits, and intervals of time in their response to repair or correct errors created by oversight from the technician on each (the initial and subsequent) repair jobs. The cascade of cost was ultimately the stake through the heart.Simply put - my refrigerator was broken when I called them, but ironically it worked better before the repair work began and then when it ultimately ended.What stated as thermostat and computer board became three additional thermostats, a heating element, and last would have been an additional (~) $1700 (~) job to repair either (or both) the condenser, the cooling line and replace coolant.I have edited this a large degree since my first post as I spoke with management. They had disappointed me in the lat 90 days do to some communication and technical issues, but the store manager did make giant strides to assist and make correct any issue I was having. And they did send a different technician - it was just too late in the game.That stated we could not reach a place of common ground. Nonetheless I needed to delete the text that contained my vitriol.I think they can still do better. The people there are accountable - perhaps this was only a perfect storm.Sincerely,Andrew

I have been buying from Oliver Dyer exclusively since 2008. They have a great staff who have been there for decades. They treat the customer fairly and dont try to sell you something you dont need. On top of that, we did a kitchen remodel and had paid for an install that had been done by our contractor. Well, Id forgotten about it and Oliver Dyer called to tell me that they owed us a refund. Theyve been honest above reproach for us and thats why Ill continue to use them instead of the big box stores. Also, if you buy Samsung or other Korean products from the big box stores, parts have to be ordered from Korea and take longer to get. Oliver Dyer has parts on hand or are able to get them quickly for their brands (Whirlpool, GE, Kitchen Aid, etc.) . Keep that in mind when your dishwasher/washing machine/dryer goes out due to a power surge. You want it fixed quickly.

Good place to buy an appliance, bad place for repairs. Years ago paid them a service call to fix a 3 year old Jenn Air side by side fridge that was leaking water when it defrosted. Didnt fix problem. Then last year had circuit board go out on same fridge. Internet searches told me that Whirlpool no longer made that board, but you could get an aftermarket rebuild for about $285.I called Oliver Dyers and told them they could not get the board from Whirpool any more. They said I was wrong and they could get a new board for about $280. They said they would have to pay one service call to come out and verify that it was the board (I had already done that).They would then order the new board and charge me another service call to put new board in. After they came out, they told me that, guess what, the board was $585, not $285.This fridge was marginal anyway, but we had made the decision to fix it if we could do it for under $500. If I had known that it was going to cost $800 we would have just bought a new one.

Skip Home Depot and Lowe’s all together and just go here instead. Their prices are lower, their appliances are better, they deliver faster, and the sales associates are more knowledgeable. I appreciate them calling at a reasonable time in the morning to confirm the delivery time later on in the afternoon instead of only 20 minutes prior. We definitely won’t be going anywhere else for appliances.

Went in on Saturday morning (busiest time of the week) they had 8 salesman and 2 women in parts. Waited 15 minutes for help (one lady never got off the phone) a elderly women finally waits on me, has no idea what my part is (part number is on the part) and insist I need a model number. Sorry Oliver I used to get great service, something has to change.

We had a problem with my Moms oven and they were there quickly to assess and fix the problem. Its reassuring there are companies still around that are local and care about customer service. A rarity nowadays. I highly recommend them!

Called and scheduled for repair man Steve or Steven to come out and fix washing machine, they told me it would cost 242 plus tax but when he showed up he was rude right away took a look at it and asked me if I new how much would it cost. As soon as I told him he started being even more rude and unprofessional saying he is leaving and not doing it. I told him that I would call someone at the store but he kept saying you dont need to call anyone I am not doing it unless I pay additional 188$ . When I called the store they told I was quoted the wrong price and as we were trying to figure it out he just started to yell he would not do it for less and just got up and left. He was so rude and unprofessional and almost yelled at me, he would not even wait to have it figured out as I really needed washing machine to be fixed. I am still in shock the way I was treated .

Awful service! We told the repairman the issue with the dishwasher before they came out. JD came out and didn’t even pull the dishwasher out. He said it was a power issue. That’s exactly what we said it was on the phone. He didn’t take anything apart and still charged $100! Scam!

Went to Oliver Dyers last year for our new appliances recommended by someone I work with. It has been exactly one year and 6 months and the appliances are junk! Washer went this past weekend and they told me that $304 will fix it. Refrigerator is making weird noises already too. They are terrible and I would not recommend going there. Nice sales people to sell you then they just dont care after the sale. For the cost of repair we now have to get a new washer and will not purchase from them or recommend them, ever!!

Good local business that cares about their customers. Got a refrigerator from their scratch and dent and compared the price to Lowes and Home Depot and I saved over $1000.00. Needed an element a year or so ago for our dryer on a Saturday and they had it. The price was a little more than I would have paid if I would have mail ordered but that is expected. Anyone knows that convienence has a bit of a premium. Highly recommend.

Have gotten 2 washer machines in 3 years from this appliance center,totalling over $1100,6years prior we bought a used washer and dryer for $150, that second hand washer lasted twice as long as both new ones,we have have that very same dryer for 9 years and still works great,my question is how much money do you have to pay to get a washer that lasts over a year from this Oliver Dyer clan
