I scheduled with Emily Rae Miller and disappointed by the results. After the Loft closed, I was hoping to find a new salon and this one had good reviews. After seeing Emily, I waited a coupled days and inevitably realized I had to go to Great Clips to fix Emilys attempt. The Great Clips stylists could immediately name several problems and weird things she failed to do. Emily left everything blunt and didnt even bother to clean up my neckline. It was like she had never been trained in haircutting. It was odd. The Great Clips stylist did a good job repairing my cut from Elevation 138.Elevation 138 itself was clean and seemed friendly. Not like the Loft was, but it was okay. I wont be making another appoint there (dont want to risk getting a worse cut), but someone else could try a different stylist and probably get a decent enough result.

I can’t rave about Ferida Randolph and Elevation138 enough. She always does an amazing job. Over the past few years she has basically became family to my husband and I. I love that I can sit in her chair and say “do whatever you think.” Finding a hairdresser you trust is a special thing.

The only place I will go to get anything done with my hair. They have fixed mistakes Ive made to myself many times. They are all super friendly and are honest with their opinions. Overall its a great salon.

I’ve taken both of my kids here several times and they have always walked out looking like a million bucks! Not to mention the SAVED my sons hair after THE HAIR DEPT. totally left us with the worst haircut and perm (or should I say NO perm) that I’ve ever seen! Elevation 138 is up-to-date with all the new hairstyle trends and what looks good today. I highly recommend this place

I went to the salon today with a picture of what I wanted done. I came out with a super super short haircut that I didnt want. It looks horrible. I am so upset. If I could give zero stars I would.

Avery is very unprofessional. Couldnt do the color I wanted because in her 3 years of experience what I wanted couldnt be done. She acted like she could care less if she did my hair or not, and to be honest, the feeling of her not knowing what shes doing became very obvious so I walked out after awhile very frustrated that the basic color couldnt be done by someone who claims to be certified, and glad I was not letting her touch my hair. Think she got offended..oh well.. I ended up with Megan at the Lux. She has 20 years experience and my hair color is AMAZING! Highly recommend the Lux!

My appointment was rescheduled, then I was waiting for over 20 mins and I decided to leave.I didnt get a chance to try the hair dressers but my first impression was very poor.

Got a call while standing in the lobby waiting to check in. Avery cancelled my 4 hour appointment after I agreed to come later to fit her schedule better!! Waited a month to then be canceled at my appointment time. How unprofessional

The hair stylists and everyone was professional and friendly. Aliva, my hair stylist, did excellent on my hair color and trim. She was also really friendly and bubbly. I also liked their professionalism. It was my fault our appointment for today was mishandled, but they handled it with grace. I definitely recommend this salon. 10/10.

I felt so special. They did a phenomenal job at making me feel good. I had a facial which was so relaxing and was customized to me. It wasnt a quick thing either. She took her time to make me feel good. She had oils diffusing for aroma therapy too! Then a mani/pedi and the chair had massager on it! My feet felt so good and my nails are gorgeous! Finally I had my hair shampooed and styled which the stylist gave me some awesome ideas of what I can do with my hair. Loved it and cant wait to try a massage next time!

Elevation 138 Salon is the best salon that I have ever been to. A lot of times salons will go all out to offer a premium guest experience, but lack the skills to deliver on the core mission of great hair care. At Elevation 138 they have the right balance of treating you right and making you comfortable without it being an over the top eye rolling experience. I give the salon in general 5 out of 5 for quality of experience and service.When it comes to the stylists, I have had Emily cut my hair for the last year and she does a fantastic job. When I first came in I told her to think of my hair as a blank slate and I would try whatever she suggested. I figured as a dude there was only so much that I could do with my hair, and keep in mind that Ive been going to actual salons over chain places to get my haircut for at least ten years.Well right off the bat she said that I should try changing my part to the opposite side, and that it would work better with how my hair grew. Id never considered something like that, its so basic but at the same time so different from what I had always done, and combined with a fresh new cut style it really revamped my look and I have been happily going back since.So to other guys out there considering giving a real salon a shot, this one is a great place to start, and its very reasonably priced. Give it a try, you wont regret it!

My first time going and had a great experience. Everyone was friendly and Brooke shampooed, trimmed, and styled my hair. Im great full to have found this place to do my hair for my wedding. I will also stay with Brooke that deals with my hair. I highly recommend this hair salon.

This is a well-managed salon, personable but professional people. My particular hairdresser and manicurist Emily, bar none, is a two thumbs up 5-star woman with great inside and talent to know what a person needs or wants even when they dont. Many are talented but Emily is gifted in her work. I would give the salon at 10 Stars if I was permitted. Worth driving the distance just to check they out...and I hope you will.

I go here once a month and Alyssa cut my hair, she is fantastic and i will never use another stylist. If Alyssa moves salons, i will as well. She is that good. Ask for her if you are a new customer, and remember to tip her generously!

Brooke did an amazing job, and took the time to really get my hair the color and cut I wanted! Everyone here was super nice and the environment was great as well! I absolutely love going here! Cassie is my favorite and only stylist I go to. Shes done my hair for almost a year now and knows exactly what I need to keep it healthy since shes awesome with curly hair! (And mine is medusa) Shes also done a fabulous facial on me before and waxes my eyebrows. All around wonderful place with great atmosphere and staff.

I love the way they did my pedicure. For the gel, they paint your toes first and then soak and massage your feet. Said it keeps moisture from getting in under the polish. I loved it!

My first time at Elevation 138 & it was a great experience. I havent had a hair cut in over a year since Iam very particular about who touches my hair but Cassidy did an AMAZING JOB! She listened and did everything how I wanted it. She took time and didnt rush which is a plus. The salon is a very professional setting with friendly staff. I will be a returning customer for sure!

This is by far the BEST salon in town! I have been to alot of different salons in town and this is personally my favorite. The staff is helpful, nice, friendly and professional. Emily does my hair and Ive never had this many compliments on my hair before! I feel great after every appointment. EVERY time Im there I always leave with new tips and tricks.

I was referred to Freida when I had to find a new stylist unexpectedly. Freida is friendly and professional, but I was unimpressed by the haircut and color/highlights I received. The highlights I received were OK, but Ive had better. I also have a small amount of grey (mostly at one temple) and told her it would be great if she could cover up a lot of it, which she did not do. It would have only taken her an extra minute to do this... I mentioned to her at least 3 times before she cut my hair that I did not want to lose my longer pieces in the front. Well, I found those pieces in my lap with her first few cuts. Im looking at about 8 months now to grow them back. She rushed through my shampoo and conditioning. My hair felt dry and brittle afterwards, where Im used to my hair feeling amazing for weeks after I get it colored. She told me she would call me the following week to see if I had anything I wanted fixed or tweaked, but I never heard from her. I suspect that the majority of the problems were the salon might have booked her too busy, but that doesnt excuse the lack of following up with me nor the generally poor quality. I feel if you put me in your chair and Im expected to pay full prices, I deserve quality results. I found the pricing quite expensive for such a rushed and unsatisfying experience.

Highly disappointed I will never go back!! I went in there with platinum hair with brown low lights. I consulted with the stylist, and asked several times if she was confident doing my hair. The goal was to do my new growth and tone the rest. So it would be lighter. Cassidy the stylist said yes! She also said she was going to charge me extra because she claimed to be a level 2 stylist and she was more expensive and I was ok with that. Then wanted to charge me $30.00 to trim my hair after the color. 4.5 hours later after she washed out my hair and dried it I ended up with orange, gold, brown, purple, and white hair. My hair is dark and has several color bands and several colors. This is going to cost me alot of money to fix it, and several visits. This has been by far the worst salon experience I have ever had.

Everyone here is so nice. The owner is always running deals and specials and regularly cuts hair there. Prices for mens cuts are reasonable.

Cozy atmosphere, welcoming staff

This place is super expensive. Paid way to much for cut/color and didnt get what I specifically asked for. I do not recommend this place and if you do decide to try it out, make sure you ask the charge for EVERYTHING they put on your hair. I asked for bleach blonde highlights and got yellow. So she put toner on and it did nothing. Yet I was still charged an extra 30 for the toner. Ugh! I will never go back here.

All the ladies Ive met here are extremely friendly, professional, and pretty as pictures. Location is cool, their musical selection helps me relax and I love having my beard shaped.

Elevation is friendly and very helpful. I have had a couple bad experiences with specific stylists, but Ive been going here for two years and my overall experiences have been fantastic

They have shortage of staff. Whenever I call for appointments they have reasons and give odd timings, though I call them a week before. Their service is costly too.

Spent over $150 for my wife to get her hair cut and to get an ombre. Spent over 5 hours there and not only is my wifes hair completely chopped up and almost gone in places, but the ombre isnt even relatively close to an ombre. It just looks like her roots grew our for 2 months. This place was an absolute ripoff and I cant recommend anyone ever visit here!
