Danielle blows other nail salons/artist out of the water. Shes been in this profession for a longggg time. She definitely knows what shes doing. But most importantly her hand drawn nail art is fire 🔥 this time I did a quick fill because Im getting Ursula nails for Halloween but thats not for another 2 weeks so I had to get my current nails done because I was wayyy overdo fl and they wouldnt have lasted another 2 weeks (I had my nails done at a different salon the time before this). I just let her do whatever she wanted this time and she did not disappoint. Would highly recommend!! Love you Danielle ❤️

I really enjoy going here. The staff is super friendly and they do a great job. I always get gel manicures and pedicures, and I have always Loved my nails! Prices are average for services. Great location.

The first and only place I go to since I’ve moved to the fort. I’ve never been committed to a nail shop living in Venice because I just never found the right shop, French tips would turn yellow, nails would break the next day, etc. but at profiles I can have my nails at a 3Or 4 and they won’t break a whole month if I miss an appointment. Everyone is very nice and helpful and talented. Really good atmosphere and the decor is hip.

I got a gel polish full set done Tuesday, the next day the gel polished lifted on one nail & I called back and was told they would fix it for free. I didn’t have transportation to get back so I left it alone. Then come Thursday my point finger nail starts lifting and I left it alone so it didn’t pop off completely and now it’s Monday, 6 days later and I have 2 fingernails left on my left hand and 0 on my right hand. I got a business card with the technicians name on it, she was super nice & the nails were nice the first day they were done. but I won’t be returning to this salon

After I left, the gel on my nails sunk and I had all these little depressed circles in them. I dealt with it.didnt feel like going all the way back because I dont drive.. Then after a week the gel was chipped and my nails were broken. Also my nails are not shaped consistently. Other than that my manicurist and pedicurist and the receptionist were very nice.

I had a very unprofessional technician who went as far as spreading rumors between me and one of her other clients. In my experience in this industry this is a zero tolerance matter. How unprofessional and immature. As women we like to go into a nail salon and have a nice conversation with our nail tech as they do our nails for us. But apparently we can’t trust them nowadays.

Did a very nice job on my daughters nails. We have been to many places and this was the first time she walked out having my first reaction being “wow”. I was very pleased with the price and service. They did a good job resembling a picture she brought in. We’ve been to other profiles but we like this location the best. It’s nice to walk around the shops and have lunch nearby afterward.

They do some really good work you will not be disappointed. The staff is very friendly as well.Definitely worth it.

If Im going to pay nearly $100 of my hard earned money for a full set of acrylics can you at the very least make them look like you care about what youre doing.. my nails looked kinda sloppy.. more attention to detail please. Shouldve paged $20 for what I got.

Eyebrows werent even all she did was wax and she made one thinner then the other. She left stray hairs since she didnt pluck them. I also had to ask her to trim my eyebrows.

I have been to dozens of salons in my lifetime and this is by far the worst experience I have ever had. Imagine spending $74.00 for a really bad manicure and pedicure and then having to go somewhere else to have them redone. If you are looking for the spa experience this is not the place! Nail Art or JJ’s will blow this place away for half the price.

Love the fact if I ask for something specific they have no complaints or get attitudes. Also I can understand them!! They have no problem on giving a truthful opinion!!

Love this nail salon. Amanda is my nail tech and she is awsome.

This location does decent work but honestly, and I feel bad giving bad reviews but, the atmosphere and staff are overall unwelcoming. Maybe it was just to a new client like me but the entire bar of nail technicians were just very gossipy, talking about other clients and such, I couldnt help but wonder what they would have to say about me once I left. The girl who did my manicure was new and very nice but I dont think she was part of the clique yet. Then, as I was leaving, the receptionist was giving a girl who had booked an appointment a hard time. From what I could hear, the receptionist had booked through this girls appointment with walk ins and basically told her she could wait or leave. To make it worse, I believe it was prom weekend and this girl looked about the right age to be needing her nails done for prom. I felt really bad for her and the treatment she got. Overall I would just be wary of the staff, especially if your prefer a more inviting, caring experience.

Dont go to this location. If youre use to the typical profiles standard, you will not find it here. Instead you will leave with unattractive nails, lots of nicks and cuts on your skin and the opportunity to hear the employees swear and talk about drugs. I am a regular of Profiles in Punta Gorda but was staying on the island so chose this one and I regret it. As soon as I left the downtown location, I sat in my car and called Profiles in Punra Gorda to see when they could fix it.

Always love getting my nails and toes done at profiles. But on my last visit downtown I had 3 nails break off (and Im talking about not opening beer cans, or anything other the writing for work and school) I called the lady at the front desk who told me they dont do much more then replace the broken ones (while in 700 miles away) so I called the delprato location who gladly set me up with a whole new set for when I get into town. Thank you delprato location!!!

Skip this place at all costs if you can help it. Rude, unprofessional, misinformed, RUDE, RUDE AND DID I MENTION RUDE STAFF! From mgmt to Technicians they are rude beyond measure.As other reviewer’s have stated they tell you to walk on in and you get there and they don’t have any room for you for six hours. Completely on empathetic or understanding to the mistakes that their staff have made. If it were possible as others have said I would give it less than one star.

Do not go to the downtown location! If I could choose no stars on this review, I would. I’ve never been so disappointed at any Profiles before. I left there today and had to book an additional appointment at another Profiles (DelPrado) where they took good care of me at no cost. I was even willing to pay again, so kudos to them.Anyway, as soon as I walked out the downtown Profiles my nails were falling off. The owner was snobby toward me when I went in and used my gift certificate. She gave me a junior tech obviously straight out of school, which was fine at first.Two nails fell off when I got to my car. I notified the owner and she did not even apologize. I was never rude to her either. She told me she has never seen this happen before (in an accusatory tone). Not to mention she had partially charged me for the service even though I had a certificate clearly stating it was for a full set. I received the certificate for donating money to a good cause.Despite the condition of my nails, I went back in and asked the owner if I could only get one of the nails filed off because it was lifted pretty bad. She told me I had to wait till the tech was done doing another set of nails. I was already at the salon for over 2 hours and I had children with me getting tired of walking downtown with my husband.What I was asking for would probably take 3 minutes. Does that make sense to wait 2 or more hours for that? Maybe the owner could’ve done it? My nails at the downtown Profiles were not done correctly. My nails were really thick, unbalanced, crooked, and I was bleeding. The glitter and gel looked muddled and runny. It was the last day of my husbands vacation so I left and went to the Profiles on Del Prado. Not a great way to spend our vacation, getting my nails done all day.On DelPrado they took care of me quickly and didn’t charge me. They told me to call in case all the other nails fall off. I will be making my future appointments on DelPrado.Unfortunately, this was not my first incedent at down town profiles. This was my second chance for downtown Profiles. Last time another client rudely referred to my kids who were playing and laughing while supervised in the waiting area. The client said loudly and angrily “can somebody tell these kids to shut up”? My kids even heard it. All the other clients and employees agreed that the woman was rude. Once again, I never got any communication from the owner.Today was my second visit and I let the owner know about the incedent months ago. She did tell me she heard about the incedent but no apology. Sadly, I will never be able to enjoy getting my nails done at downtown Profiles. I will never recommend my favorite franchise at this location. Great idea to have one downtown but terrible terrible service.I even feel bad for the employees there, they did not look happy. I even felt bad for the girl who messed my nails up. She was really sweet but she deserves better training, the owner did not even inspect her work. Neither did the owner ask me about my nails. The junior tech was basically fed to the wolves. So with all that said, I may be calling corporate real soon to let them know about my experiences there.I love Profiles franchise and I have been a longtime client at all the Profiles locations since they first opened (in the Publix plaza in Cape). I never refer or visit anyone else for nails but Profiles. Unfortunately the downtown location won’t be getting any credit from me.

Awful place, downtown profiles nails . Got a full set done not even 12 hours down, 3 broke. Got an appointment to fix the three, went well. Soon as I got home every other one that was not redone. Broke. With all this going on they tell me to walk in to get them fixed but get turned away everytime due to no availability (but I was told.by the manager to just come as a walk in) . Woke up today with a call from karen,caren) how ever you spell her name. Shes a manager there blamed me for my nails breaking, rude nasty attitude, does not let you speak at all. Long story short the 3 nails that they fixed are still fine. Which tells you the first set that was put on were ALL not done right the first time. If things where done right the first time, specially after paying a premium amount and tipping our nail girl really good. To get awful quality and disrespectful services specially being a customer who referred everyones here. And as a side note. The gossip and talk the nail techs have there towards customers is near disgusting. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION GO TO THE ONE ON DEL PRADO. beautiful atmosphere. Very polite and understanding
