Great work out center. Good people, the owner is there everyday, just a great place

I joined the gym the end of December 2020. I liked that it’s a smaller gym that has everything you could need to get a great workout.I signed up for personal training (6 months) with Elijah. He’s awesome! He pushes me and encourages me. He’s taught me so much about working out!I highly recommend Elijah as a trainer, he truly cares about people! I plan to sign up for another 6 months of training with him :) Thank you Elijah for your knowledge and support!!

I was doing personal training and myself and trainer cancelled my training and yet they continue to take out payment for services I am no longer receiving. I have reached out several times via email and phone call however no one returns my call. The trainer no longer even works at Anytime but I have still yet to be reimbursed on this for something I am no longer receiving. This is a $365 monthly payment that they are taking an no one is taking care of the issue. Please be careful they are not professional and do not return back calls or emails to correct the situation.

Very clean, limited interaction with staff (limited staff hours, 24 hours open gym for members) has been positive, not packed like other gyms which is especially nice during COVID.

Very clean, nice neighborhood, owner is very nice and equipment is on par. I just wish they had a pool and sauna because I dont sweat and need the sauna and I love to swim. It near my home and I feel very safe. Negative side is only 3 people wore mask in this pandemic although there was just a handful of people.

I was recently charged for a membership I did not want. I did the 7 day free trial and made sure I went in on the last day to cancel it. I started it March 22 and came back March 29 to cancel my membership which is Monday-Monday because they are closed on weekends or I would have done it sooner. I have gone in multiple times try and get this resolved but have received no satisfaction. I just went in today again to get this resolved after being nice about it for over two weeks and he disrespected me in front of the whole gym when he couldve handled it privately. And after trying multiple times to contact him in person, over the phone and email he had the audacity to say he does not have time to check his email or phone calls because he is booked up on training sessions. Maybe he should make time or not over book his schedule. He also had the audacity to say I came in a day after my trial was up. This was not true I do not play around with my money especially 104 dollars when I am a college student living pay check to paycheck! Also went in physically multiple times and I had to speak to him while he was training people or come back when he would be working WHILE he was training people and today I had to wait 30 minutes until he was done. Not good customer service very disrespectful and unprofessional. Do not do the free trial unless you know you will be getting the membership because if you check google reviews there are multiple people that are going through or have gone through the same thing as me. Very disappointed. Also the equipment is not the best and you can go to a bigger gym with much better equipment for cheaper and no contract. I recommend LA Fitness in gulf coast town center. Great customer service and big and good equipment.

I received a call from the gym for my inquiry on membership. The guy who called became very angry and rude when I asked for monthly rate foe membership. He said that he cannot disclose anything until I visit the gym. I said that all I want is membership rate for basic membership. He got very angry and said to call back when I decide to take a tour. My question was as why would I tour the place without even know how much I will be paying. Be careful. Some kind of trap.

I love this gym!!!! I been a member here for the past 3 years. The trainers are amazing!!!! The gym is a smaller location but still has everything you need. Weights, machines, cardio equipment, showers etc. it’s never too crowded during peak hours, (but has more people though) and is my happy place! I’ve been there 3 years plus!

No gym is perfect but this gym is a perfect fit for me. Not too big, never too crowded, friendly people. The manager is receptive to suggestions or requests. I left another gym to come here a year ago and have no regrets. I also love that my Anytime Fitness membership goes with me when I travel.

Should have contacted me Elijah. I’ve made several attempts to contact you to cancel a membership that as Ive said, I can no longer use. I no longer work in the area and cannot use your gym, it is too far from my home. I haven’t used your facility since the start of COVID-19… 2 years ago. I’ve been paying for a membership I can’t use. I’m only asking to cancel it… I’m not asking for my money back. Bad customer service. Buyer beware, he’ll sell you a bill of goods, but doesn’t deliver them. That’s too bad, cuz I’m sure your a nice person, but not returning customer’s calls so that you keep charging them, especially during times like these. SMH 🤦🏽‍♀️

Just moved here from Boston and was extremely satisfied of how I was treated when I walked in the door. Elijah was the person who helped me out and was so nice. Highly recommend coming to this gym if you want to feel welcomed!!!

Love this gym! Been coming here for a couple of years. Its always clean and the staffs are super friendly. Elijah and Eric are great coaches, i personally recommend them if you need a trainer or would like to do boxing classes.

This isn’t my home Anytime Fitness gym, but whenever I want a change of scenery I have enjoyed my visits here. I cannot speak to the staff as I always have come past staffed hours, but the gym has always been clean and not heavily populated. It is a smaller location but it has everything you’ll need to get a good lift in.

Clean, positive atmosphere, the gym is just a whole vibe.

I cancelled membership months back and now I got a paper from the debt collector that I owe the gym money when I cancelled and no one wants to answer they avoid and I’m not about to pay that and I paid cancelation fee for the rest of the months of the contract smhh

Trainers are well informed and professional coaching your mental and physical health. Gym is clean and has every machine you need get your body right!

We all know keeping healthy is a mindset as well as an action! But finding the right place where you feel encouraged not judged, a place where everyone of different ages and abilities can feel safe to do what works best for them, with goals in mind is rare. Weve all been to the Gym where the Tuff-guys hang out and dominate the equipment. This is a fitness center that helps you assists you and guides you. We need that this year 2020 and every year. I love this place!

This gym is amazing! When I started my journey to loose weight and get in shape a little over a year ago, I felt lost as many of us do especially just starting out shortly after I meet Elijah for a free gym lesson on the equipment and I ended up signed up for personal training with him, which I was leery about with having knee issues and my previous experience with personal trainer”s” before over at around the clock and that was and awful experience! I’ve been training with Elijah for just over a year now and I now see him twice a week, my transformation has been amazing!! I’ve even had some set backs with knee issues and he has always been great with helping me through it with some myofascial release and altered exercises. Elijah is definitely worth every penny, he is highly knowledgeable, very personable and great at his job, no two people are the same and neither are his fitness routines! Overall great gym with cleanliness, great equipment and professionalism!

This gym is very spacious and brings a great environment! Very clean & up to date with an additional massage bed, yoga/mirror room & squat racks! Elijah makes the gym experience phenomenal & I recommend to anyone in the area to check it out!

Went for a FREE 7 day trial and got charged $58! When I went to get a refund I was treated like the charge was my fault. Elijah was very unprofessional, he kept saying he was all about customer service and that i had nothing to worry about because he was going to take care of it. Its been 4wks later and still no refund. I have had to call them over and over and still have not been contacted. All this for a 7 day trial that I only used one day from. I decided to not do the 7 day trial because the place was too small. It only has two small bathrooms with only one shower in each bathroom, no locker rooms and not much equipment. all this for $35! When i can go across the street to around the clock fitness for less than that! Way better gym, two floors of equipment for less. I contacted corporate and still havent heard back from them. Please save yourself the hassle and dont do the 7 day trial. If you do, dont give them any payment info. This same thing happened to my friend who signed up with me on the same day. So this was not an isolated issue. Hope this helps, Good luck and chose carefully.

Signed up for the gym. Went there two times in one week afterwards I called because I did not like the fact that it was too small. I called to cancel 2 months after and still they a billed me and take money off my account. They are not easy to get hold off. voicemail nobody will call you back.

Staff is always in amazing moods, friendly and help motivate you during workouts. The positive energy is contagious! The gym is one of the cleanest gyms around which is important during times like these.

I started personal training sessions with Elijah at the end of August. I wanted to achieve a fitness goal before my 40th birthday. Elijah put together a personalized meal plan and workout routine that works just for me. He has a background of an athlete and the knowledge and science of training. He is extremely professional, always motivating, and pushes me to limits that I never knew I could achieve!!! I always leave feeling empowered. The results were so good after my 12 week program I signed up for another 12 weeks!The gym is always clean and the bathroom is spotless. Great friendly atmosphere and the location is perfect.

I have been with this gym since it first opened and it has been and still is an awesome gym. The manager/Elijah is awesome. He is professional and personable and really shows concern for the gym and the success of the members with their experience at the gym. I have had numerous friends sign up and they love it. I would have told them about this gym if I didn’t believe that it was awesome!!’

They gym is fine very adequate. The issues are everything is dirty, I’ve never seen anyone clean in the gym. Also the wipes are out and don’t get replaced till a couple days later and the bathrooms are beyond disgusting, pee on the seats and floor sometimes the soap dispenser doesn’t have any soap and I’ve been going here for over a year

Great environmental clean non judgmental. Management very nice. Way less stuffy than around the clock fitness and lots of room u don’t have. To wait to use equipment.

This gym is more concerned about profits than customers. Would rather continue to charge customers month after month that have not stepped foot in the gym for 6+ months, maybe a courtesy call to check and see if I am ok or why I havent been in the gym for months and months.

I absolutely love this gym. I love the size of it and it has all the machines you need to get the body you want and be in fit. The staff is wonderful and very friendly and will help you with anything. Great price per month and the other members are friendly and willing to help in any way . If you want to get fit amd have the body you want and deserve you defintely need to check this gym out and great location

I have noticed folks who give the worst reviews of a business are the ones who have never owned a business! The hardest part of customer service is dealing with people who want to be treated like royalty but treat others like servants. I like this gym. I like the manager. I like the equipment. Most folks who use this gym are really kind.

First off nice location. Gym is new and still has that new feel to it. Equipment is clean, well kept and generally members care about their gym. Showers are hit or miss on the cleanliness depending time of day. There are plenty of sanitize wipes spots to clean up after each use. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable and generally care about its members. Nice place, easy to find and get to. If in the area and need a place to work out, do yourself a favor and stop by.

Not my normal gym, had to use this one while mine is under renovation. It, like my normal gym, is small but much less crowded. They have a good selection of great machines and a small activities area. I would go here again if I couldnt use my normal one.

Ive been a member since August and have had nothing but good experiences with the facilities and staff. Elijah, the general manager, was very friendly and helpful during my sign up and is always available to help with any issues and answer questions!

The employees at this facility do not take care of this place. The gym is constantly out of the wet wipes so patrons are unable to properly clean the equipment. Many of the machines feel sticky and built up with grime. I had to leave the gym early today because I was unable to wipe the equipment down as every dispenser in the gym was completely out of wipes. I didnt feel right about working out and not being able to properly care for the equipment. Not to mention, it grossed me out. Additionally, I wish there were plyo boxes for box jumps at this facility but there arent any. However, the big issue is the cleanliness of the machines and equipment...its gross. I will likely be going back to Around the Clock Fitness where I was much happier.

This place, and the people who work it, are absolutely phenomenal. Ive never been to any gym where I felt as welcomed, supported, encouraged and just generally cared about as the Anytime Fitness on Bernwood. Stephanie, the owner, and her daughter made me feel right at home from the minute I walked in the door. Tonight, I just left my free, new member session with their personal trainer, Sara, who took TWO HOURS with me, going over each of the exercises in the weekly strength training routine I brought in and showed her. She was, not only very knowledgeable, but seemed genuinely interested in my personal success. What a find!I really cant thank you guys enough. Youve definitely got a member for life:)I highly recommend!!!

If theyre locked in a year contract they understand they have more to lose and if I kick them out, I still get to keep all the money.Were not fully staffed so its up to the members to maintain the gym. Im not your maid, Im not going to clean up after everyone.He also didnt even bother showing me around because he said, people usually leave when they figure out I only do annual memberships.I was looking find out more about making an account and Ive never experienced such aggression when inquiring about a membership.Make your own opinion with that but it seems to me like the owner: decided to go with one of the easiest business models, doesnt truly care about customer service, and wants the customer to solely maintain his business.

After calling many times, leaving many voicemails, and writing several facebook messages, it took me over a week to get in touch with someone. The owner told me hed take care of it and I would not be charged. I was charged. It took me over 2 weeks to get in touch with him again. I had to go into the gym in person 5 times in addition to calling many times to finally get in contact to make sure my account was cancelled. He told me he issued a refund but I was double charged instead. It took me several weeks to finally get in contact with him again to get a refund for both charges and he told me he contacted corporate about getting me a check on Dec 20th and it would take 10 business days. IT IS NOW FEBRUARY AND I HAVE RECEIVED NO PAYMENT AND HE WILL NOT ANSWER MY CALLS, VOICEMAILS, OR FACEBOOK MESSAGES. I contacted the billing department and was told that he never issued a refund to my credit card like he had said and there was no record of him contacting corporate either. HE IS A LIAR AND A THIEF!!! I am still owed $78 that I could really use right now and he has ghosted me.

Convenient, clean, and worth the price. This particular location has plenty of free weights, including squat racks and dynamic training equipment. Of course, you have access to cardio machines like treadmills, stairmaster, and bikes. They do offer classes for a fee and they have a hydro-massage table for $10 a session. There are seperate mens and womens bathrooms with shower available. 24/7 access to this and facilities worldwide are what sold me. Go ahead and join, you wont regret it.

Anytime Fitness is unique, not the one size fits all attitude of other places. Owner is great, cleanest gym around and they make it fun to work out! Who can say that! Thank you!

Very clean gym. Open 24 hours is a huge plus. People come here to workout not hangout which is a huge bonus in my book. The owners actually work here and listen to the clients. A novel concept for sure. Great gym.

Theyre gonna bind you to a 1 YEAR and a HALF agreement no matter what. You cannot trust their word! They told us the contract was just a formality and that we could cancel it when we wanted if we needed it. Now they wont even return our calls! The owner did that to us!Edit: I did initially sign the paperwork for an 18 month agreement. However, I made SURE to ask the owner during the time of signing the application if I could cancel at anytime during the contract. The owner LIED to me and said I could if I needed to. I fell on a few hard months financially, tried to get out and was then told that I couldnt back out. You might want to tell your future customers this information or they will lose trust in your business.

Signed an 18-month agreement only because the father of the owner said it was only a formality and that I could cancel whenever I wanted. Now, for my surprise, theyre going back on their word and wont let me cancel the membership, even after explaining my current situation. You cant trust their word! Youre going to get stuck with that membership for 1 year and a half! I advise you to stay away from that gym! They dont even say that you have an option for a shorter 12-month membership. When I called, they told me that one of the owners would call me back. They never called...

Went in to find my sister there a policy that I wasnt aware of that you have go have the pass or you cant get in one of the member that was inside seen me standing there for a minute then he kindly open the door for me and as soon as i come in I hear the owner of the store yelling at the the guy because he let me in i wasnt expecting that from her at all i have came in there before and there was never a problem ...But overall my experience in there wasnt that bad but theres not that much equipment that works out all the body parts all there equipment works out the same thing I recommend around the pick fitness its better there

Theres no actual classes just one tiny room for single person virtual classes which are totally unmotivating and not fun and the room is ALWAYS taken. I literally pay for a membership and never go because its so annoying to never get the room regardless of the time of night/day. Also the gym is super small and the people working out are rude.

The key fob isn’t working for anyone today. They have a number to call and they pickup and the guy says it’s the wrong number. When he sends you to voicemail it says it’s John from anytime fitness. Yes it’s Sunday, but this is a business.

My goto gym when traveling. Clean facility, friendly staff and just about any equipment you may need.

Obviously they don’t want your business if you fill out a 7-day pass and don’t let you workout with it.
