I am a transplant from New York and was concerned about finding a good gym that I could be as comfortable as I was at my home gym in New York. Around the clock fitness fits the bill perfectly. The staff is professional pleasant and helpful. The facility is clean and well-kept with a great array of machinery so that there is no need to wait for extended periods of time for any station. The showers sauna and steam rooms are impeccable. The price is very reasonable and overall I think I made a great choice. Around the clock fitness rocks! 🥰❤️

On August 2nd, I joined Around the Clock Fitness. I was never offered a Free Guest Pass, if I had, I would have never joined at all. Before joining this gym, I asked the Sales Associate on their Cancellation Policy. She replied that the gym was offering a special for the month of August, and it would only cost me a $1.07 for this month. However, if I was to cancel within 30 days I would not be charged any additional fees. After 30 day’s my card would be charged $49.95 a month plus a yearly membership fee of around $80.00. After a few days of using the gym, I decided this place wasn’t for me. On August 7th., I canceled my membership. A few weeks later my card had been charged $49.95. I called the gym several times and asked about my membership, which I was told hadn’t been canceled yet. DON’T JOIN THIS GYM, RUN!!! THEY Will ROB YOU!!! VERY SHADY PEOPLE WORK HERE!!!

11pm and onward is the most peaceful time. Easily my favorite gym between the franchises locally. Staff is helpful, people that go there are helpful, trainers are trainers, but are incredibly respectful and helpful to anyone regardless of skill level.

Mostly decent equipment however the membership is deceptively complicated but made to seem fast and easy. I wasnt even seated in the signing office, they signed me up at the front desk. Annual payment 2 weeks after the monthly payment and then you have to wait till you pay the next month fee before you can cancel the membership. Easy set up to snag 100 bucks from a client who signed up and wanted to cancel soon after

I like the fitness center and the options it gives its gym members. Stay is generally friendly and prompt in assisting you and can get crowed at time at the gym but that is normal to see at a quality gym.They also have a nice refreshment area for either pre or post workout needs and do like that they also have a child care area to make it easy for the parents to come in and get a workout.

This gym has AC issue so its often so overcrowded you can literally taste the sweat coming off people because the AC system doesnt move enough air. On top of that, its extremely dirty, nobody re racks weights or wipes down equipment, and its so crowded during peak hours you can almost never get on the right machine, let alone the benches.Then theres the annual fee, they take it out your second month which I guess I understand, but when canceling they will take out ANOTHER annual fee despite it not being a year. They tell me this is because of the month notice, but when I originally called to cancel a month before nobody called me back or gave any notice so I assumed it was canceled. I call back just in case to be informed theyre taking $50 for next years annual fee, when it hadnt been a year. So I paid $100 in annual fees plus no special sign up of $20 a month or $1 enrollment that they run constantly i just started before the push for new members. They obviously pocket that money because the AC needs repair so badly and it is the dirtiest gym Ive been to. Planet fitness is at least clean and comfortable and weights get put back.

Crossfit classes here are the best! All coaches are very knowledgeable!! Management could do a lot better though, both to the place (equipment & facility) and making people feel welcomed; canceled with months in advanced because I moved states and still got charged for a month I wasnt there.

Gets the job done. Not an LA Fitness but not a planet fitness either... always super clean and well taken care of but limited pieces to use

Poor costumer service! I canceled my membership 3 months ago and they keep charging to my credit card! I walk in to the gym and the costumer service was very nasty with me! Don’t respect the people, when you enroll they are very friendly, when you tried to cancel the membership is the beginning to the enemy and they are ready to fight with you!

It is the first time that I come to this location, but I have been using this gym for more than 5 years, I have always had the best opinions about them until today, a worker from whom called Becky in addition to being quite rude to me and my daughter, He refused to give me the necessary information to be able to make a formal report on his behavior, I think that is not a way to deal with clients I pay my registration, I do not come for free, better check who they hire

Liz is literally the best front desk person. She is always super friendly and so welcoming. She makes you feel like you’ve known her forever. It’s pleasant to walk in and have such great guest service like that. The trainers rich, Kelly and Ricardo are awesome. They are encouraging and comforting. They making working during this pandemic fun but cautious.

I’ve been working out at Around the Clock for over 3 years I think. I cancelled my membership, than I returned because I always loved the gym. It was always so clean, staff was friendly and helpful.I don’t know what happened lately, but the bathroom stinks, the saunas are broken most of the time and on top of all of that THERE IS NO AR CONDITIONING at the gym for 3 weeks already. Staff says they’re reconstructing whatever on the AC for THREE WEEKS, you can see on their face that they don’t even believe in that either. I tried talking to them because my workout friend was getting dizzy and almost passing out, but you can see on their face how much they are also struggling with the situation. No one deserves to work on an environment like that. When you finish your work out you can literally grab a drink and lay down on the asphalt outside the gym it would be so cool and pleasant comparing to working out inside.The AC bill is too high or they think we need to burn some calories one way or the other... (I’ll take the first guess)If you havent sign up yet, DO NOT SIGN UP here now. If anything changes I’ll come back and post another review. Hang tight people, and keep looking for another gym because this is currently a free experience of working out in hell.

If I could give negative stars to this gym I would. The equipment is falling apart, the staff is rude and unorganized, and the head of the company is disrespectful and and quite frankly a joke to the establishment. The daycare “10 kid maximum” rule is a joke even though the gym is running at full capacity. Oh, and don’t let the “if you call ahead and reserve a spot for them” fool you, because they will still tell you the daycare is full when you get there and “there’s nothing they can do.” Absolutely the worst gym in the area, only reason I still go is because there are so few with daycares in the area. So disappointing since this used to be a decent gym before the previous owner sold the gym and it’s been nothing but a disaster since.

I am on a supposedly month to month... never made it due to covid.. still kept membership that increased on the 2nd month on the 3rd month an annual fee of $49.99 was taken ( even though I did not sign an annual contract) I called to discontinue membership in may I was told I will be charged in june and membership cancelled then .. a supposed 30 day cancel per my contract.... what contract. i am on a month by month ....I am disappointed.....

Great gym. Equipment is nicely spread out and it’s never packed like some other locations. Hope they stay open!

Boyscout gym has not had air conditioning since before thanksgiving 2020.......Hopefully snowbirds do not come back or else it will be a sauna in the entire facility.Not eveyone enjoys leaving like they just took a shower with there clothes on.Been a member almost 5 years and it might be time to start shopping for a new gym that has air conditioning.

Best gym around

No AC for weeks now. I mean come on, we all pay more for a quality gym, the reviews i’m seeing is that it’s “under construction” but no one believes that. It seems like they are cutting back costs immensely. Even the wipes to wipe down equipment were replaced with cheap paper towels and cleaning bottles which everyone just takes to different areas of the gym leaving other areas un-serviced with proper cleaning equipment, which in this climate SHOULD NOT HAPPEN! Often even find many empty paper towel holders. The AC is the biggest issue as it’s sometimes unbearably hot especially on hot weather days. It’s not fair for the paying customers or the employees that have to be there all day. Please get this issue rectified, I’ve always loved this gym but will be going elsewhere soon if not fixed.

Its actually not a bad gym. Great equipment and plenty of it. Place is kept nice and clean. However, they seem to be absolutely resistant in spending any money on repairs in locker room area. The main reason I joined is for the sauna. It works maybe half the time and never comes up to a desirable temperature. They refuse to do anything about it which seems strange. Cant be too much money to call someone in to make proper repairs.

This place is poorly managed and engaged in fraudulent activity. I cancelled my membership TWICE and they continue to bill me. The second time the rep I spoke with even removed my card from their system to prevent them from continuing to bill me. The billing stopped for a few months, then they somehow resurrected my card number and started charging me again, including a mysterious $197 charge. Something is terribly wrong with this place.EDIT: twice now the manager was supposed to call me back and neglected to. No surprise, clearly the guy doesnt know what hes doing. They do have a super nice staff though...which might lend a little bit of doubt to my conclusion, but geeze-louise, just call people back when you tell them youre going to—especially in a professional setting, and especially when youre in a leadership position...and even more so when the person keeps getting billed for a canceled membership!!!

Its a pretty good gym..I think the benches is way to low..and they need some iron plates..all this rubber stuff everywhere you go..but good gym..5stars

Clean location, staff are friendly and they host plenty of classes for people who are into that. Plenty of machines and a fair amount of freeweights, including flat and inclinded benches, dumbells, squat racks and more. Bathrooms are well maintained and include lockers and showers.

Needs to bump the rates up to reduce crowding. Gym was a pleasure to go to when it was Omni and had higher end clientele

This gym likes to automatically take 400+ dollars every month out of peoples accounts. They screw people tenfold.

Its not the gyms fault that the neighborhood is bad. If you want a better experience go to places in nicer neighborhoods? Switched from LA Fitness due to cleanliness and staff...and not disappointed! Such a great gym with genuine employees! Awesome equipment and super clean locker room and showers. Only thing I can say is the same cable machine has been broken since Ive been coming for a few months.

I have emailed them 3 times because they said they wouldn’t charge me, and they have yet to respond. I have never been satisfied with them as a gym. It’s dirty. The equipment is always broken. Staff ignores you at the front desk (except 2 guys they are nice) Literally the only reason I use them is because of the hours. As soon as another gym becomes available 24/7 that’s got the same amount of equipment - I’m going there. I already joined 2 other CLEANER gyms to meet my schedule for CHEAPER than ATC combined during Covid19 . So I’ll likely cancel anyway.

The a/c has been broken for months. Nobody has any answers and nobody seems to care.

I love this gym. I’ve been going for a little over two years. They are the only ATC in the area that still has the good treadmills and not those awful new non-responsive touch screen treadmills.They have a great ab room, several machines utilizing free weights, tracks, and cables. They’re organized in a sensible manner and they have multiple versions of the more popular machines so you almost never have to wait for one to free up. They’re amazingly friendly and helpful.My only bit of advice would be that the personal training really isn’t worth it. I think that’s the case at most gyms though. Their dry sauna also doesn’t get hot enough but their steam room is phenomenal and their locker rooms are great. They have private changing rooms available for more modest people and even their open area is sectioned off and feels private.I’ve only ever attended their yoga classes but those were great as well. For the price, this is a really excellent gym.Edit: I took 2 stars off this review as this gym has now gotten the awful new treadmills. I will probably cancel my membership soon.

Have been trying to cancel personal training since January. Went there 4 times before they shut down from COVID-19 and they told me at the front desk that I didn’t have to worry because they had already sent the request for canceling and my refund. They LIED straight to my face. I emailed them many times and had no answer, and every time I call or go in they never know and can’t help me. This is ridiculous. I’m still being charged even after asking to cancel.

One of the better locations for this gym. It has a nice training area in the middle and just seems better out together. All that said all locations have similar equipment and nice up to date workout machines. It is nice that they are open 24 hours for members and I love the sauna options as well as some of the other perks that come with being a member of these places.

If i could rate this operation a zero star I would. I have continued to be charged months after canceling my membership. I am only able to communicate via email and the personnel at the facility are not able to rectify the situation.

Went in on a Saturday for Zumba class with Valentina. One of the best classes Ive taken in the area. Her music choice is excellent and she is 100% on beat. If you havent taken a class with Valentina, then you are doing yourself an injustice.

Excellent gym with pleasant and professional instructors and front desk staff. General Manager who listens to clients. Great class schedule and lots of options. Yoga schedule is second to none. Gym clean and lots of equipment. Love this gym.

Love this gym, it is always kept clean. The staff is nice, day and night. I usually work out during late nights and it is never packed when I go. During the days however, it can get busy, especially right after work hours. Hard to find a good 24hr gym nowadays, plus one that has very competitive pricing for CrossFit programs, cheapest I’ve seen around.

Love love love this gym I live in Cape Coral and drive to this location because the cape coral location is super gross and the day care is filthy, things broken, weight machines torn up and no way to properly sanitize them when the foam is exposed and people are sweating on such a porous material. Just a disgrace. Dont go to the Cape Coral one! Boy Scout location is amazing though!!!

I have been in a lot of gyms yesterday I went to this gym after another gym was no providing a day pass since Im visiting this place. First the staff was amazingly supportive to the point I was in shock of how good of a customer service they have. Second the place is pack with all possible equipment. Then it was so clean and an amazing vibe. To end up this comment the only bad bad thing about this gym is that they dont have it near my house on Miami lolol this guys better put one there.

I like that place. The staff is very nice. There is a large variety of machines. And everything is clean. 5 stars definitely!

Great gym with a variety of weight machines, lots of rooms with a good number of free weights. I think the employees are overall very helpful. I cancelled my membership because there seems to be a lot of confusion with billing. I stayed away for about a year and I just signed back up because I feel it is the best facility with the best equipment. (And, YES, I did try a large chain gym which shall remain unmentioned and I found it lacked equipment and/ or the equipment was outdated or rickety).

Love this gym! Every time I come to fort Myers I always come here! The equipment is awesome and plenty of room for whatever.

Spacious gym with lots of equipment to choose from. The locker room is always clean, and so are the work out rooms. I love the fact there are many different types of classes to choose from so you will definitely find what works for you.

I cancelled a class in January, but four months later they started charging me $100 a month again. They admitted that they made the error and did not properly handle my request, but they will not refund me the $400. They stated that I should have caught these charges sooner, and basically tried to say it was my fault.Poor customer service! Bad business practices!Not how I expected they would treat a 24 year law enforcement public servant and military Veteran!

2 years ago I signed up for personal trainer for 6 months.No one said anything about auto renewal. And they kept charging me even after asking to cancel.After disputing extra charges.2 years later. Im coming with a guest pass and they tell I cant make a membership until I pay $400 for balance...I dont know why they want all of my money so hard but Ill definitely avoid this place.

From New Jersey.. first time going here this is by far the best gym I’ve ever seen & it kept me motivated throughout my workout. Tons and tons of clean brand new machines & a huge variety of workout rooms & benches/dumbbells. I’m coming here every time I visit Florida. 10/10 no question.

I find it interesting one of Googles top ten searches under Around the Clock is cancellation. I had to try to cancel this gym membership multiple times both in person and by mail. Finally, when they refused to cancel, I had to contact my bank and dispute the charges. Then they try billing me for $297.34, reduced it to $133.74 when they acknowledged they were overcharging me. But that $133.74 is for two months of membership because they add in their annual fee which nobody discloses to you upfront when you sign the membership agreement and all you get to look at is the electronic signature pad and they wont give you a copy of the contract BEFORE you sign it even if you ask. They just tell you youll get a copy AFTER you sign it. I know accidentally refusing to cancel your gym membership is par for the course in the gym industry but that doesnt make it ok. Do the right thing and I think youd be surprised how much more business you get when people can trust you with their credit card information.Its really too bad too since the whole reason I had to cancel was because I went on a deployment and I really appreciated their military discount. Now that Im back I would have liked to return but I hate the untrustworthy and deceptive way they do business.I will say although Fort Myers doesnt seem to have much to offer in gyms, ATC seems to have one of the best gyms in town. Just dont join if you ever plan on canceling. Youll pay for their membership.

Around the Clock Fitness is a great place to work out especially the location on Boy Scout. There was lots of equipment there and lots of people and it is usually clean and well-staffed and well-equipped. That is all.

I like this gym a lot. There is a lot of good equipment there. It is a very big Jim. There are lots of treadmills and lots of elliptical machines and lots of Weights there. It is a pretty cool gym compared to the other gyms that I have been too. I like going there.

Very nice gym. Its pretty big so Ive never had trouble completing my workouts. Theres always the Dbag taking selfies on a workout machine but I havent seen too many here.They have a sauna which is a nice touch. I like the day care area for my kids. Theres lots of things for them to play with and staff was attentive. I would recommend this place.

The instructors and personal trainers are all enthusiastic and professional.The equipment on the main floor and especially in the spin room need to be repaired! At least half of the spin bikes do not work properly, if at all :(

Changed from the past and the improvements are nice but the upcharge is not. Many amenities formerly included or not billed for are closed off requiring a higher cost per month. Stinks because that was the best part of this gym franchise - the extra machines/areas. Lastly, what the heck is up with the point system? These points for checking in or purchasing serve little to no use. Why not offer a percentage off some of your merchandise in exchange for points to help you push some products? Instead of a lousy bottle of water...

Great gym for just about everyone. Except for the usual busy times you can get a workout in and get out quickly. Lots of classes and the rooms are available during times when there are no classes.

This is a clean gym. The staff is friendly. The cafe is great. The childcare center is excellent and clean too.

Over priced (dues and annual fees) they will nickel and dime you for every single thing. Oh and if you need to cancel your membership be prepared to pay the $80+ annual fee charge no matter what. And they won’t pro rate this amount even if you’re months away from it being due, plus they make you pay another full months membership and again will not pro rate. I will never again be a member and will never recommend this place to anyone, in fact I will encourage people to go somewhere else. Worst business ethics!

Tried to cancel membership. They will charge you the $80 annual fee that is due in July for the next year even though you paid it for the current year already. They also charge you $30 for that next month no matter how many days past you are from your billing. Just paid the $30 last week. Now paying 110 on May 2nd. I can still use the gym until June 2nd. Which makes no sense if I want to cancel...the..membership.. okay. Personally, the gym is nice - not a starter gym. Majority is already buff and not there to lose weight. Feel outcasted. Night front desk guy really nice. Besides that, staff is standoffish. I signed up because they offered classes which is awesome. Personal training was a waste of money. Never given a meal plan, $40 for 30 minutes when the trainer was late off another appointment most of the time. Other employees would come and gossip. Make sure if you have the PT to cancel your contract after 3 months if you dont want to proceed. Its not just a 3 month program, they will charge you another set if you dont call and cancel. I give it 3 stars because the equipment variety is nice, the bathroom/showers are modern, and the classes is an awesome touch. Biggest reason Im leaving is only 1 location in the cape, very far from most people - about 20 minutes from me - and I dont go to fort myers if I dont have to anymore. This was my home gym though.

Pretty much your average gym experience- has what you need- offers a good mix of classes at a variety of times.

I love the relaxed atmosphere and no one places pressure on how you work out. I went 2 weeks after surgery and with ATC I was able to get back on my feet quickly by working at my oen pace. My girlfriends children love the daycare and it has amenities for kids of all ages. The Zumba class was banging next door and cant wait to try it out once my restrictions are lifted
