I received a quote from their Specialist, Rob Smith, who was extremely knowledgeable & meticulous in his descriptions of their installations, & the various products they sell. He immediately followed up with multiple quotes which I will consider. So far this company has impressed me.
Normally my experience with Advanced Air is good however they sent a technician to install a Nest Thermostat and he seemed totally in the dark about how to program it. I was told they knew all the details about a Nest. I also asked several the tech guy several questions and he was obviously annoyed. The next time I have a thermostat issue I am going to call our handy man. He knows exactly how to install and program thermostats.
Rob performed an estimate for our townhouse and he was very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. During that conversation, Rob was informed about a very poor experience with another ac company. He took the time to listen and offered advice and a free inspection of our other homes air conditioning system.When he arrived, he again was professional and for the first time in years, I feel like I received an honest, upfront and accurate evaluation.I felt no pressure to sign any agreements and buy unnecessary work. This tells me a lot about who Rob is and how Advanced Air operates. I will be acting on his advice and when ready for my next service and possible new system, Advanced Air will be my first, and only call.Thank you Rob. We bought a brand new air conditioning unit from them. We have now had it for 18 months and it has a leak. It took 2 visits for them to figure out what was wrong. Now we are looking at another 5 days without AC with no solutions for the meantime. Save your money and go with someone better.
Estimate for duct cleaning and sealing. Checked ducts and a/c, and said all was good. Really appreciate honesty and professionalism.
Tech notified us of estimated arrival time in the scheduled window. He was friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. He was thorough in his inspection and provided clear information on results and recommendations. The whole service visit went well and we were very impressed.

Also have my clothes dryer vent cleaned once a year, a service Advanced Air provides. So glad I did!! Just had the roof replaced and the dryer vent had nails, roofing material and bits of tile in it, besides clothes lint. If you have had your roof replaced think about this!
I recently hired Advanced Air for a HVAC unit replacement. The sales guy Jeff was very kind, knowledgeable, and quick to respond. However, I would not recommend advanced air at this time because I recently called for a AC repair on 7/31/21 because a second unit I have wasnt blowing cold air. The service man showed up an hour late, and advised the capacitor needed to be replaced which would cost $350 plus a $69 trip charge. Well I had a manager call me to say I dont have the cool club on both sides of the duplex so I would have to pay $119 for the trip charge AFTER they did the work and wanted to be paid they told me this. Thats not at all what was promised at the time I scheduled the service call with the representative. That Monday I received an invoice which showed the discounted trip charge and $369 for the part. Since I felt like there were some red flags I chose to do research on my unit. I found out from Goodman themselves, the unit was only 5 years old, it may be covered under warranty of 5 or 10 years depending on registration and the part that needed to be replace is $15... How do you charge 24x the cost of the part? I never saw a 20% discount on parts like they stated I would have for the cool club member, and they are clearly price gouging. I will never use this company again knowing BOTH my units were install in 2016 and the issues could have been under warranty. I am truly shocked especially being my fathers house who recently passed, it was all about the money.
This company has an excellent customer service and their employees are very nice, Yuset is always cordial and very helpful.I only paid for the first visit to see the problem and after that, we didnt paid for anything else until my unit was completely fixed, it took several times to get the parts, but that was a factory issue due the pandemic. Overall Advance air is wonderful.

I would give this company ZERO stars if I could. I echo others comments about using Advanced Air & Refrigeration and signing up for the Cool Club membership. DO NOT DO IT. I can only say it is a shell game. We signed up for the Cool Club membership when Advanced Air came out to do a check of our system. Less than four months later, the same issue arose. When we called and asked them to come out, repeatedly telling their customer service and technician that we were Cool Club members, they still charged us a full fee for the service. When we spoke with them about the membership benefits, they were rude, unresponsive, took no responsibility for having to fix the same issue twice in just a few months, and then admitted they had a system glitch and an employee who was no longer with them but they still took NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEIR WORK or the Cool Club membership. Entirely unacceptable. Look elsewhere for honest service, not just a useless upsell.
Absolutely magnificent experience. Our contacted service failed us and have since been dismissed and Advanced Air rescued us. Yuset was professional, thorough and patient with our questions. Recommend the company and applaud the service.
I trust this company and even went so far as to sign up for their maintenance plan. Gives me peace of mind knowing they are just a phone call away, especially in the summer months. READ THIS BEFORE SIGNING UP FOR THE COOL CLUB MEMBERSHIP!! This was our first year signing up for the Cool Club Membership and we are most likely NOT going to renew. We are not renewing simply because we do not feel like valued customers. We had to cancel our first free maintenance visit due to a COVID related issue and we were supposed to call them back to reschedule but forgot, even after the email reminder we forgot. So, we can take the blame for not following up and we do truly regret forgetting to reschedule. Our neglect to reschedule ended up causing a simple clog. That simple clog caused the unit to leak behind our wall causing structural damage to the inside of our drywall resulting in some extensive drywall and insulation repair we’ll have to hire out for. Since the condensation malfunction was behind the wall we didn’t notice until the damage was done. We also followed the unit manufacture recommendations by keeping the filters clean and roots out of the drip line. The clog must of been some sort of build up internally and that service removal would of been included in our free maintenance visit we forgot to schedule, go figure. Our unit was installed for business and used to keep a garage full of live animals at temperature so it’s very stressful when it goes down. This is why we became members because they stated that members get priority service over non-members and when you have live animals that need temperature control minutes are vital. After scheduling with AA in the morning they gave us a 2 hour window at the end of the day. An hour after scheduling we received a voicemail stating that they will most likely be arriving at the later end of the 2 hour window. All said and done they called again and delayed us another hour arriving an hour after the official appointment window. AA also charged us handsomely for that service because we called it in as an emergency. It’s a pretty terrible feeling when you know you have two free maintenance visits that you paid a membership fee for but then have to pay for the same type service because you called it in. If we are mistaken about what the terms of the membership are at this point then AA should do a better job at explaining the benefits of being a member. They also auto renew your membership so we are glad to back out before they charged us again. They state on the members sheet that if AA is not on time and you are not 100% satisfied they give you a full refund, but that refund is for the membership fee ONLY and then they back charge you for the 10% savings on any services that were performed under the membership! It seems like a sneaky way of keeping you in the deal so they make more money. So, we have scheduled our two free maintenance services basically back to back just because we paid for them and want to use them before our annual membership ends, not because we have a problem with our unit. We are giving 2 stars because they fixed our problems when we called but we cant help feeling like our membership has little merit or value due to being charged for the same service as one of our free visits and delay in appointment time. The savings are minimal and they might still delay appointment times with no compensation. Hope this helps the next customer.

BEWARE!!! Heres how it works, You sign up for the yearly program which cost $198.00 includes 2 service calls for maintenance only. They keep your credit card on file. They charge you a reduced service charge of $69.00 since you are a member. The driver did absolutely nothing other than take pictures of the ceiling in the bedroom where the leak was due to the A/C duct needing re-taping. He then quoted me a charge of over $300.00 without ever going into the attic. he then said if it was more than the tape it would cost a lot more. So, I immediately asked him to leave since he was only there to charge for the service fee and never entered my attic. I then called the office to cancel the program since they did nothing. When you dispute and cancel the program, they then credit you the membership charge of $69.00 and the total charge of $198.00 for joining the program. Now since you canceled the service they credit your credit card for the annual fee and the $69.00 fee which was charged while a member then charge your card without authorization the non-membership charge on my credit card without my authorization of $119.00. The manager calls and explained how everything done was agreed to when I signed up over the phone earlier this morning. I will continue to dispute all charges as I will also report them to the BBB.The driver was unprofessional and only there to charge for the service not performed. BEWARE!!!!!

I called advanced air last night at 8:30 pm because my AC was blowing warm air. I spoke to Joy and later to Myrtle. They, both, were very nice to me. Joy called my problem in to the tech. James was at my house by 9:30. He fixed the problem and spent the time to explain and show me what the problem was. He was very informative and professional. I am very impressed with the Abvanced Air team.i signed up for the maintenance program. I, now, feel I have total backup and can count on my AC team. Thank you so much for being here for me.
Angel was very pleasant. He explained everything he wanted to do. He made sure he didnt leave a mess. Also told me about buying filters and got me the right size I needed and left cards for me to get savings for referrals. I would love to keep him as my regular active person.

Very professional service. Scheduling a maintenance cannot be easier. As a customer youre automatically called or receive a text to schedule your next maintenance. If things change, its very easy to re-schedule the maintenance either with customer service or even online. A day before the maintenance you receive a text to confirm the maintenance. And on the date, the staff shows up on time and does a very clean and professional job with a detailed report on your AC status. Nothing more to add. Excellent. Thank you.

A week after buying my house in April my AC went out and I had Advanced air come out and get it running again. First off they are outrageously expensive. What was wrong with my AC he said he temporarily fixed and it may go out again at any time. I signed up for their little 1 YEAR maintenance plan for $139 so I could save a little money and have an additional inspection later in the year. I decided I was going to replace the whole AC so I called advanced air first they quoted me $8000!!!!! I ended up getting the some AC unit from another company for $4000!!!!!! Dont overpay with this company. And to top it all off I look at my credit card statement today and I have a charge of $198 from this company that I did business with 11 months ago. I called and the maintenance plan renewed which no one told me about, even when the guy came out for my inspection he asked if I wanted to renew and I told him no. ( I dont want your maintenance plan ) In addition to that it hasnt even been a year and they charge you $59 more than the original cost. So I would give this company a ZERO star rating, but the ONE star is for Holly answering my questions when I called in about this charge and processing my refund. THANK YOU HOLLY

They charged me for a yearly service and the man comes out the system is only 4 years old and they want to charge me almost $300 for a new thermostat including $77 to program it this is all be under warranty or guarantee so when I question they say if you dont want it well just put the old broken one back in and leave that was their reasoning they actually signed me up for the yearly service without my permission and when the man asked me how I want to pay he already had three of my credit cards on file that he knew beware

My AC stopped working and the thermostat was completely dead. I changed the batteries but still no AC.Called Advanced Air who came out several hours later and found out in seconds that the suspect was the battery metal prongs which where corroded inside the digital thermostat. . Tech fixed the problem and was helpful suggesting a new replacement formy old unit.He was very professional and helpful.

Tony was great. We had just bought a brand new AC system last month, 4 days after we purchased our new home (but not so new AC). Everything worked great until yesterday, but as soon as we called Advanced Air they were on it and had someone come out that same evening. They needed a part so they sent it back the next day with a tech named Tony, who was excellent. Tony was very knowledgeable about our specific system and what it needed, and he did not leave until it was all running perfect again like the brand new system that it was. He was polite, efficient, and determined! I’m happy to say his determination paid off and our house was and still is maintaining a nice, 🥶 ‘Chilly’ temp! 👍

I initially had my unit installed by another company (Florida Heat and Air). I tried calling their emergency service for my issue four times but they did not answer. I needed service because my A.C. drain line was clogged. I did a Google search and found Advanced Air. The customer service agent promptly called me back in less than 10 minutes. Javier was the epitome of customer service. He arrived earlier than scheduled. He was very professional and courteous. He was willing to answer all my questions and make the most cost effective suggestions for my situation. I would say all their other 5 star reviews share the same sentiments as I do. I also enrolled in their $17 a month maintenance plan. From now on I will request Javier from Advanced Air & Refrigeration for all my home A.C. needs.I hope the owners will do everything possible to keep Javier and their other employees happy because it seems they have a very reliable and trustworthy crew.Keep up the great work team!
April 2 2021, Good Friday. A representative was supposed to come and give me an estimate for A/C system installation at 5 oclock in my office. Waited until 5:40PM. No message, no phone call. I have used their services for 4 years now and was treated in such an unprofessional matter. Very sad. Wont use them again!

Plain out lied and and ripped me off for $800. Tech came out as unit stopped cooling, some refrigerant leaked and he said he could not find a leak with his leak detector. Said it might be in the lines because it was not at condenser or air handler. Proceeded to tell me the units was in real bad condition and evap coil was really dirty on system that was only 6 years old mind you.They proceeded to attempt to put refrigerant with a sealer in which may or may not fix the issue. The a/c worked for a few months and then would not cool again. Had another company come out and they instantly found the leak with there sniffer, big leak in evap coil which they said was common. I asked them how did the air handler look to them as it looked clean to me.New company said it looked almost brand new inside, So I was plain lied to by Advanced! New company charged the same to replace coil and recharge as Advance charged me just to charge and seal. Then Advance automatically charged my credit card a year later for a service contract I did not ok. I called them and they admitted that was in error. I let them know my displeasure and told them they should refund me something as they ripped me off.A week later they tried to charge me again and apologized once again but they still made off with my money. Crooks!

We have spent 3 months trying to resolve a service issue, that actually began 3 years ago. We purchased 2 new AC units in September, 2016. Included in our bill was lifetime system enhancements-sealing accessible ductwork per code. It is itemized on our statement separately so we know that we paid for this work. We noticed dripping water around one of the airvents only 18 months after installation. When the Advanced Air rep came out, he indicated we might want to replace the duct work and gave us a quote for sealing only. We said we thought that was already done. Since this time, we have had 3 different people from Advanced Air out. One said we needed to replace all the ducts. The last one said they could seal our ducts but it would be an additional cost. We asked him to please have the service manager or owner call us, because the sealing of the ducts should have already been done. He said it had not been done. After 2 months, no one has called us.We then called Trane and they told us to start a claim, which we did. They also said we should have at least one other Trane certified service person look at our system to ensure that the sealing of the ductwork was not done. We have had 2 other certified reps. review and it has not been done. After reviewing the paperwork again with Trane customer service, they indicated that indeed we did pay for this service. The only item on the check list at the time of installation was plenum sealing, so the duct work was not done. Trane asked us to contact the company again, but with no response to our calls we decided to post this to see if we can get someones attention to this matter.AS A RESULT OF MY POST, THE COMPANY CALLED THE NEXT DAY AND SENT TWO SERVICE PEOPLE OUT TODAY. JOE, THE LEAD SERVICEMAN, WAS EXCELLENT. HE DID IDENTIFY THE LACK OF SEALING AND SUBSEQUENTLY SEALED THE DUCT WORK; SHOWED US PICTURES OF THE BEFORE AND AFTER AND CONFIRMED THAT WE WERE SATISFIED. BECAUSE OF JOES GOOD WORK AND THE COMPANY RESPONSIVENESS TO MY POST, I UPGRADED THE RATING FROM ONE TO 3 STARS. I JUST ASK THAT IN FUTURE IF A CUSTOMER EXPRESSES UNHAPPINESS WITH ANYTHING FROM THE COMPANY, THE COMPLAINT BE ELEVATED IMMEDIATELY.

I paid for annual maintenance, I called for my second visit and they said my contract is over, I need a new contract. I lost my second services. I was a customer for more than 5 years. I 5hink they not know about costumer luyalty.
