Nobody can compare to going out with Captain Tim! My husband and i went for a getaway vacation and looked for charters. Found Captain Tim and had the best experience. I dont think it could have been any better than what we experienced.! He was very knowledgeable about being out on the water! Started off catching live bait went Tarpon fishing and had all the experience of it. Choose Captain Tim!

Captain was very experienced. Fished an extra 30 mins because we didn’t catch anything and took us snook fishing, ended up hooking into a big tarpon and bringing it in. Had great tackle, really nice guy. Let us bring our own rods and beer on the boat. Had a great trip. Hooked 3 tarpon in one night and brought in a nice one after 10 different tarpon charters in south Florida, throughout 10 years, this guy was the only one that brought one to the boat. Highly recommend. 5 stars.

Tim is awesome! He made us feel right at home on his boat and by the end of the charter it felt like he was one of our longtime fishing buddies. We boarded the boat before dawn and within five minutes we had a bait well full of live bait. Tim located the Tarpon with ease and put us on 10+ within a few hours. His knowledge of the local bite and waterways made all the difference - 40 years experience pays off. I would highly recommend Tim to anyone who likes to have tight lines often. I had the pleasure getting out on the boat for a 1/2 day. Even though the weather did not cooperate Capt Tim was able to keep on some fun Tarpon all morning. Tim does know his way around the water and always strides to make the experience one of a kind. I will be out there again very soon with the veteran Capt.

If your looking around to do a inshore Tarpon trip look no further. Captin Tim is the reel deal. My only complaint about him is how bad my arm hurt the next day from fighting Tarpon. I promise you wont find a cooler guide anywhere in Florida.

Captain Tim OConnor is the best charter captain Ive ever fished with hands down. Hes a true professional with great energy and passion for fishing. I was blown away by the entire experience. My Father and I came over from Naples to do a boat charter and a beach charter the following morning because after watching Reel Reports, I KNEW Capt. Tim was the man to put me on my dream fish and boy was I RIGHT!Our boat charter was great!First off this man picks us up absolutely STACKED with bait. Hes got big mullet, hes got medium mullet, hes got finger mullet, I was blown away. That is rare! Anyone out there spend 1-2hrs. of your charter catching bait? I have, so this was impressive.We jumped 1 Taroon, I landed a 20 lb. Jack that gave me a great fight, and my Dad caught a beautiful slot snook, which we revived and released. Also saw amazing blow ups on the beach with Tarpon and even spinner sharks in the air.My Dad and I had a great time and really enjoyed Tims passion and energy on the boat.The following morning I met Capt. Tim on the beach for another charter and it all came together for us. Tim found a school with Tarpon and texted me where to meet him, the weather was perfect, water was glass, and the feeding frenzy was on!We jumped a couple fish over 100 lbs and had a couple other bites, but on our last attempt we hooked in to a 60lb. Tarpon and I landed my dream fish (off the beach too!!) And got the photo I came for of me holding a huge Tarpon in the water.I knew Capt. Tim was the man for the job and he was worth every penny. Ive never seen anyone work so hard to put a client on a fish, it was truly a pleasure to watch him work and I learned so much from him.If a Giant Tarpon is a bucket list fish for you as well... youre in luck! My wife and I had an awesome day on the water with Captain Tim! First line in the water, my wife had a fish on. Captain Tim was professional, fun and a great time! Our charter flew by with good jokes and lots of fish. We caught exactly what we hoped too, a little bit of everything. We will definitely be back to Naples and on a charter with Captain Tim.

I have gone out with Capt Tim now twice and I must say that it has been the most enjoyable experience Ive had chartering a fishing guide. First let me say that Capt Tim has no ego and was willing to share his knowledge with me. My objective was obviously to catch fish but also to learn. On my first trip we went offshore and tried to hook up on sailfish. While we did not hook up we did see sailfish tailing not far off. Wanting to put me onto fish we then went inshore tarpon fishing and Capt Tim put me on to an 80lb tarpon that we leadered. On my most recent trip last week we went strictly for tarpon. I had a 100lber (see pic) and I also jumped one that was way bigger. A great trip! Also would like to add that the Twinstigator is an immaculate boat rigged for fishing. All the tackle was ready which made for a memorable experience. I highly recommend Capt Tim to anyone.

After 2 months of quarantine the family needed a change of scenery and some fresh air. Capt. Tim advertises kid friendly trips and I wanted to take my 10 y/o daughter to catch some fish. Mission accomplished! We went 1 for 3 on tarpon, with my daughter boating a 40 lber. When the tarpon stopped bitting we went to look for snook and caught one in the 40 range. Great evening of fishing and we will definitely book Twinstigator again.

We had amazing fishing trip with Captain Tim. He was very professional, great fisherman and tour guide. We all caught fish and got to see the sights. Highly recommended if you are in Fort Lauderdale!
