Hands down the best fishing trip in my life. 30 minutes into the trip we were already on the fish, I would have been happy with the Bonita we caught but it got much better and I ended up catching a 7ft Sailfish, a catch of a lifetime. This was a great crew Capt Ian and first mate Ryan were Awesome. I will definitely go out with these guys again next time Im in town.

My son and I came down for father son time. We were pulling in Bonita and King Fish in the first 30 minutes. We had asked for some huge sharks during booking. Ian and David had my 11 year old grinding on a 250lb bull shark in no time. Great trip. Great crew. Nice boat.

What a great day of fishing. Captain Dave and Ian are experts and great guys to fish with and they really know there stuff. We caught 2 Tuna and 4 Mahi and 1 bonita in 3 hours of fishing. I won’t go out again unless it is with Happy Day Fishing.Mike H

Man, what a great day of fishing. Weather was beautiful, the boat was immaculate and these guys are consummate professionals. After a somewhat slow morning, they made the necessary adjustments to find us some fish. Caught several bonitas and blackfins, not to mention two fiesty cudas over a shipwreck! Dave even filleted our tuna up for us to take home for dinner. We will absolutely be back. Thanks again for an awesome experience!

This was our first real fishing charter and wow, did we pick a great one!Capt. Dave and mate Ian were total pro’s and very courteous. We knew nothing about this type of fishing and were a little apprehensive about going, but Dave and Ian were total pros and made us feel very comfortable in no time.It wasn’t long before we were catching fish, we caught fish throughout the entire charter including a 25 lb King Fish. What a blast catching and landing a king fish!The fishing and boating knowledge that Dave and Ian have amazed me! Not only did we learn about fishing, but also learned a lot about the local waters, tides, currents, and weather. I geek out over that stuff!The boat was clean and comfortable, and had plenty of room for all of the guests.I will definitely be back very soon. These guys are professional, fun, and know their stuff-- they are the real deal. We really appreciated learning along the way too. Not to mention, ALL the fish we caught. We were able to bring home a cooler full of fish for the family to enjoy! The kids especially love the tuna. What an awesome day on the water-- we will definitely be booking another trip with Happy Day next time we are down in south florida!

These guys are great! Ian and Dave know what they’re doing. I’ve had bad experiences in the past with other charters. Wish they were all like this. BTW- we caught a shark. I’m sure it can’t stop talking about how well it was treated. 😀

It was worth every dollar. Ian and Dave are very professional, especially Ian. He handles the equipment like he’s playing a piano with his eyes closed. Only caught two king mackerel but it was awesome. Thanks guys, hope to see you soon

We booked a trip with Dave and Ian and had such and amazing time that we had to book them again the next day. We caught a ton of blackfin tuna and a trophy sized amberjack and barracuda. These guys are very professional and they definitely know where the fish are at. If youre ever in Fort Lauderdale and want to have a blast and catch some fish give them a call.

We had an awesome fishing day with Captain Dave and Chris. They were so accommodating to our family of 5. We caught mahi mahi, tuna, barracuda and a giant Wahoo. This was the most fun I have had in a long time. My 15 year old daughter went with me. She was scared to go because she had never been out on the ocean. The captain assured me we would not go if it was going to be rough. The seas were actually perfect and it was a perfect day and we caught some fish. at the end of the day my daughter said, Dad, I had a lot fun today! without me even asking. The crew was nice and pleasant and the boat ride out to the fishing spot was very enjoyable.They filleted our fish and we took the fish to a restaurant two blocks away where they were cooked for us. The name of the restaurant is Quarterdecks. The fishing was definitely a great experience and I highly recommend. I am a big guy and drank over a gallon of water in the 4 hours we were out there so bring plenty of water and some salty snacks and youll be fine. Feel free to ask the captain any questions prior to booking. The crew knew what they were doing and everyone should sport fish at least once.

Capt Dave and mate Dave were awesome. They scored us some nice bait and we quickly got a great Wahoo, 30 plus lbs. A bit later hooked into two large cudas 40 plus inches and got them to the boat for photos before sending them back to fight another day. Highly recommend the Happy Day and Capt Dave

Wow! This experience was 5 stars for the entire experience! We had family in from Michigan and decided to do a last minute deep sea fishing trip. Dave was able to get us in right away for a morning trip, so we took him up on it! The hospitality and professionalism of Dave and Butch were amazing! They felt like family and were very knowledgable and educated us on bait and fish. We had a field day catching a TON of fish! We will be back!!!!

We have used Happy Day Today for many years and every time we have a wonderful experience. Captain Dave and deckhand David are the best! We have caught multiple sailfish, tuna, sharks (hammerhead), king fish, and much more when we have fished with them. We highly recommend.

Excellent charter from start to finish. I called for our options of just 2 people wanting to fish and the owner was very informative about our choices. Upon arrival to the docks on our reserved date we were greeted by the 1st mate who was very friendly and welcoming. The captain (owners son) greeted us a short time later, gave us a tour of the boat and explained the planned trip. We caught 4 kings, 2 black tuna and a baraccuda in just three hours! The 1st mate cleaned the fish for us and the captain told us that we could take the tuna to a restaurant (Coconuts) who would prepare it for us. A phenomenal day for my wife and I.

The captains Dave took us on a great experience in which we hooked both a 3.5 foot barracuda and an 7 foot sail fish, which was huge. Big waves, great boat, better crew. We saw multiple sail fish jump clear out of the water. It was definitely worth the $100 per person. Would absolutely recommend this trip to anyone interested in catching some big fish. An absolute must for Ft. Lauderdale.

My Son and I booked a full day charter, from the off Tom and Dave were great fun, we hardly left the dock and were hooked up with a monster King Mackerel that was only in the box when we hooked up on another fish. This time a 24lb Permit a record fish. The action continued until Dave said we were out of time, then like it was a planned grand finale as we where hauling in the baits we hooked up.This time after a 20min fight we were rewarded with a huge Black fin tuna.Great day lads thanks..Ps pay the extra $40 for live bait to kite fish you wont be disappointed..

While visiting Fort Lauderdale we had the opportunity to charter the Happy Day Today for a half day cruise. We couldnt have been more pleased. We had never been sport fishing before and we were thrilled with the knowledge and experience that the crew had. The crew set us up for kite fishing for sailfish. About an hour in we hooked not one, but two fish at once. With the help of the crew we were able to bring in 2 large sailfish. Once the lines were reset we quickly hooked a third sailfish. Overall it was a very satisfying and rewarding day.

Had a great time on our first ever deep sea fishing adventure. Hooked a few different kinds of fish but our best catch was our 7-8foot hammerhead shark! Defiantly an experience we will never forget! Highly recommended for anyone looking to have some fun in Fort Lauderdale, FL with a friendly captain.

A $200 experience for $100. 4 foot barracuda, 8 foot sailfish. You don’t get much better than that. Dave and Dave are experts in both hospitality and seafare. Good memories with good people. A must for Fort Lauderdale, and the top charter for catching big fish. And I’ve tried the others.

I charter boats from Islamorada to Ft. Pierce and have fished with many different captains. Ive been out on Happy Day Today three times now and it is always a great time. We always bring home a box full of fish and this time we pulled in a 90 lb swordfish. Mark is an exceptional first mate and works very hard to make sure you have a great time. These guys are pros and you will not be disappointed.

Captain Dave and his mate Pete were awesome! Great day on the water! So its fishing right - never know what you are going to get. We went out on Friday with the family for a morning trip and were hoping for a lot of action.The fishing was very slow, but Capt. Dave and Pete were determined to find us fish. We started out trolling which produced no action, changed spots to a local wreck for bottom fishing. We were able to hook into some snappers, but still really wanted the big game fish experience for the family. Capt. Dave decided to try kite fishing and bam!Just before our half day trip was about to end, we hooked into a beautiful sailfish! The fish put on an aerial display to the pleasure of all of us. Pete was able to get the fish close to the boat for photos before release.Pete was friendly, pleasant, hardworking and interacted so well with all of us. Both the captain and the mate seemed to love what they do and it showed in their efforts.From scheduling with Capt. Tommy Zsak through our return to the dock we would recommend this boat to anyone and will be back soon!

First thing price is not what it is they charged each of us $10 extra for putting it on credit card THE SAME CARD!! Then they asked if we wanted to try kite fishing with live bait @$80 a doz ok we did after a slow boat ride out we fished for 3 hours with no luck NOT A PROBLEM CANT MAKE EM BITE put our live bait back in livewell where there was plenty already and took us back to the dock TOTAL RIPOFF went the next day on another boat totally different story all the way around STAY AWAY

These guys know the ocean like its their own back yard. They put us right on the fish immediately and it exceeded all expectations. It was my first time deep sea fishing and my bucket list had a sailfish on it . . . check! Got that, got a shark, tuna, mahi mahi, etc. Amazing experience!.

I cant say enough good things about these guys! We went fishing for a full day with Top Shot September 6th. They worked hard from the very beginning to make sure everyone (including kids) had fun and most importantly caught fish. A lot of fish.....From 800ft deep water fishing experience to hooking a sailfish, it was amazing.
