Absolute best charter weve ever had! Captain Mike and Danny were so personable and knowledgeable.... Never a dull moment! We caught all kinds of fish.... We caught Jack Cravalles, Horse eye Jacks, and a variety of other fish but the real highlight of the trip was catching a Hammerhead shark that mustve weighed 300+ lbs! What a great day with Lewis and Jedd! The perfect top to our week in Ft. Lauderdale. The boat was beautiful and clean and the crew were friendly, knowledgeable and highly skilled! We trolled for a little while with no luck, but went a little farther out, anchored on a wreck and had a great time fishing! Yellow tail snapper, mutton snapper, a barracuda and a 5 foot shark! Talk about exciting! I would highly recommend these guys and this company. Fun, professional and a great day fishing.

What an awesome time. Constant action from Bonita’s, Snappers, King Mackerels and Jacks. Took my son out for his first trip and we were on everything! After reeling in some nice fish he got to bring up a couple of nurse sharks and a beautiful 8’ lemon shark. The only bad thing about this trip is my son is going to think every fishing trip will have this much action. Next time we are in town we’ll be booking with Hooked Up!

Captain Dan and first mate Mike were awesome. Was a once in a lifetime experience that I would recommend to anyone. Caught an 82 inch sailfish, a few mahi mahi, a wahoo, several barracuda.

Great experience! Captain Taco actually couldnt make it due to personal reasons but he was still great at communicating the days before the actual trip to make sure we know where we were going, parking, etc. Tacos crew Dan and Mike were extremely helpful and easy to talk to. Mike drove the boat so we got to know Dan a bit more which was great since he was knowledgeable about the different type of fish and also had great fishing stories! We caught 2 king fish, a Bonita, a tuna, and a small mahi. The great part was Dan dressed the fish for us so we could take it home and eat it! A few of us did get a little seasick which is no fault of the charter but my advice would be to make sure to plan properly for that just in case. Overall had a great experience!

My very own Shark Week momentIve been obsessed with Shark Week recently and decided I wanted to get up close and personal with a shark. I have no interest in swimming with these guys, so we felt shark-fishing was the way to go. We called Taco and told him we were interested in going sport-fishing with one goal...catching a shark. Taco was on board and we went out that afternoon. For the first hour we did a little troll fishing and caught some bonitas as bait. After that Rusty (First Mate) was awesome at quickly changing all the rods to larger ones and hooked up a kite and new bait, ready for when we were over the deep, deep waters. Time to catch a shark he says. When I tell you it didnt take 5 minutes. Snag goes the pole.. I jumped on it and reeled until I couldnt any more, then it was my boyfriends turn, he reeled and reeled and Rusty jumped in to help. If you think catching a shark is easy, Ive got something to tell ya. Its HARD work! After about an hour at this, taking turns reeling, I hear Rusty yell Its a Tiger Shark! instantly my wishes came true. A hammerhead would have been cool (we actually saw one swimming by), but a Tiger Shark is Shark Week level. Taco and Rusty are a great team and the guys you want to go fishing with. Theyre relentless and werent gonna let us go until we got that shark.. and finally, we did. 10 foot Tiger Shark, approximately 700+ pounds. It was amazing! I would recommend these guys to anyone looking to have a good time and catching some fish.

We had a cancellation from another local company early this morning and called this company. Taco specifically was extremely helpful, friendly, and got us a slot ASAP. We even had to cancel the reservation because the first company wouldn’t give us a refund on our original charter and taco waived our reservation and cancellation fee. 10/10 would recommend and the next time I am in the area I will be booking through Taco and Hooked Up Charters!

Again you guys nailed it out of the park! We came back again this year with a mission impossible. We wanted sailfish when no other charters were successful. We booked a fishing trip with tacos hooked up fishing, we have fished with tacos before and had a great time so we naturally booked with them again, we gave them the tall order of getting us hooked up with a trophy sailfish when fishing had been quite slow as of lately. (That was what was said by the charter fisherman on other rigs, the barometer and cold front certainly didnt help things) we met Greg and Alan at the dock and you could tell they were confident and sure about themselves getting us on fish, once we got out fishing I could hear murmurings on the radio that no one was faring well so of course one would think our fate would be the same! NOPE! MY FATHER AND I HAD A FISHING TRIP OF A LIFETIME, we not only hooked up with my trophy sailfish we hooked up with three others, and at one point my father was in one chair battling an 8 sailfish i was in the chair beside him battling one myself! MONEY CANNOT BUY the experience that I had the pleasure of having with my father but it can get you on the premier fishing boat in ft.lauderdale called tacos hooked up fishing! Alan was an experienced mate and made the trip fun and Greg is a smooth operator at the wheel and a true artist at his craft. Why would you want to book anywhere else?

Absolutely the best experience of my life. Greg the captain is amazing. My buddy and I wanted to catch sailfish. Greg told us he would try. Needless to say Greg put us right on them. Not only did we catch one but we caught 2!! We’ve used Greg 4 times now and will not go with any one else!!

When we were looking for a fishing charter, we called Taco, and knew we were going to have a great time! He explained everything and worked with us to book our trip. We felt reassured from him communicating so well. Once it was time for fishing, Taco and his deck hand Mark, made sure we felt right at home and caught some awesome fish! We were thrilled at reeling in little bait fish, and even more excited when we were catching Bonita left and right. The best part was the black fin tuna that we took home and cooked up on the grill. These guys are THE BEST charters in the industry! After many charters around the world, my visiting friend and I found these guys off google late Thursday night after 8pm, hoping to secure a last minute trip for our short availability for the next morning. We were turned down a few times by other companies, but Captain Taco answered right away and not only “hooked me up” with a morning trip, but gave us an unbelievable deal so we had the entire charter to ourselves. The boat was unbelievably nice and the guys couldn’t have been better and more hospitable. Felt like we were out with friends, honestly. Best part, we caught incredible fish including a 35lb mauhi, which they prepped perfectly on ice for us. My experience with Hooked Up Fishing was the highlight of my vacation! It was such a fun time and had a super welcoming crew. We began catching fish within just 30 minutes, and went on to catch a huge shark, which we released. Couldn’t be happier with my experience with Taco and first mate Rusty. Taco was extremely friendly and accommodating from the beginning. As an Iowa native I have little experience with deep sea fishing and this charter made it easy! We were on fish within 10 minutes of putting lines in the water and the day ended with a 9 foot trophy Atlantic shark. What an adrenaline rush! I’m still smiling from ear to ear about my experience days later and will most definitely be coming back to fish with Taco and his crew at Hooked Up next time I’m in South Florida! Worth every penny!

This was my first time trolling and it was a great first time experience. Captain Greg and First Mate Alan were friendly and most accommodating. There were six of us on board (four friendly men and us girls) and we all caught at least one fish. To our credit, us females caught the most, reeling in three king mackerels and 1 large bonita. (Alan did mention that he shouldve had the women take the first turn!) It was a great day on the water and I would definitely book again with Hooked Up. Also, Alan expertly fileted our mackerel which we took home and feasted on. Our only disappointment was that Captain Taco was not with us, but Greg and Alan were both great, knowledgeable, fun to be with and took good care of us.

What a fun day of fishing we had with the Hooked Up crew! Captain Greg and Rusty are seasoned veterans and made sure we had some good bites. We caught numerous Bonita’s for bait and we even caught some Mahi and Tuna to take home and eat. Make sure to bring plenty of water and sunblock as it gets plenty hot out there!!!

We have done lots of charters across North America - you catch some, you lose some and only the fish decide. These guys work very hard to set you up for success. We came at a bad time of year so there wasn’t a lot happening but these guys kept shifting strategies to give us the best odds. We were quite happy with the few small snapper we caught since it wasn’t lack of trying on the crew’s part but near the end we were able to bring in a 73” bull shark! I went fishing with my family in Fort Lauderdale on tacos boat and it was awesome!!! Taco and Rusty were very knowledgeable, helpful, and so fun! We trolled the waters and ended up catching mahi mahi and tuna. They cleaned the fish for us and we took them home to eat. Highly recommend fishing with taco!!

EXCELLENT OUTING. The captain and deckhands were VERY knowledgeable and worked together as if they where all one fine oiled machine. We caught Bonita, amberjack, jack, king fish, and a fine trophy bull shark all in a four hour trip.( two days earlier they also guided us to 4 limits of black fin tuna) This is a very organized outfit and you wont be sorry if you book with them. If the fish are biting they will find them

Had a great day and caught a bunch of fish. No big Sailfish or Grouper but its fishing you dont catch those every day in Florida. JB and Nathan we very helpful and answered any questions I had. They cleaned some of the fish and recommended a local restaurant that cooked them for my lunch. I would definitely recommend this charter and hope to do it again next time Im in town.

Great trip yesterday morning with JB & Cheesie... got a HUGE blackfin tuna less than 45 minutes out, capped off the day with a beautiful sailfish & caught a few tuna & a nice king in between... I’ve been out on a few boats since moving to the area, but I think I’ll stick with these guys from now on! Highly recommend!!

We were warned that the quantity of fish we would catch might be low due to weather conditions, but we were told that if we were able to get into fish, they would be good size. My first time sportfishing and it was a BLAST! Greg and Alex were great hosts providing a safe and fun trip out on the water to catch some dinner. My boyfriend, another couple, and myself went out for a half day and definitely will be back!! Great time.

We went on a 6 hour trip with Capt Rob and first mat Troy.Capt rob did not disappoint. Even when the seas picked up to 4-6 feet. They made sure we all got to bring in a fish. Troy you are amazing.Thank You!!! We will be back!

Nice guys but be aware. Firstly, if you’re going with kids, instant gratification is a long way away. Especially if they kite fish. We sat there for 3 hours and nothing happened. Our 11 year old was bored out of his brains. If you are looking for an uncomfortable experience while drinking beer and not catching anything, then this might be for you. If your like an actual fishing experience where you cast and actually fish, this is not for you. We basically let the mate set up the lure and then waited for 3 hours for nothing to happen. Came back at 150 bucks a head poorer and then gave a tip. Hey, it’s fishing, but go in with your eyes open.

Craig and Dave did an exceptional job on Saturday to find fish and make for an enjoyable experience. You could tell their combined 60 years of experience fishing in the Ft. Lauderdale offshore waters really paid off. We caught around 15 fish and had a wonderful time. The boat was clean, safe, and comfortable. They work hard all day and did all that was possibly to catch fish!And just like Dave said, the fish we pulled up from 300 feet was the best eating available - it was delicious last night - even my young daughters enjoyed the meal.Many thanks Dave and Capt. We had a great experience at hooked up sportfishing today with captain Taco, he kept us on fish throughout the whole duration of our trip. He takes pride in his business as well as his customers and creates a laidback environment and cracking a few jokes on-board. Just got back to Michigan last night from another incredible trip with Capt Taco, Mark and his friend Adam. Did sword fishing and had 3 hook ups, landed a 46 incher which was released and landed a nice 55 incher. The last hook up we fought for about 30-40 minutes and it was still down about 1500 ft. Unfortunately hook came out of that one, but we had another incredible time on the Hooked up. Can’t wait to get back there bro and do it again!!!Great job

5 star experience caught a Bull shark

Hooked Up was recommended by the owner of the condo we rented in Fort Lauderdale. I contacted them directly which worked out well. My son and I took a shared afternoon charter. Caught a bunch of kingfish which we just finished eating. They were delicious thanks to the recipe from the crew! The captain and mate started us out trolling and after catching several we moved to kite fishing and we landed a 7 ft sailfish. Very professional and super friendly. We had a great time and well be back with them next time we visit.

Ran out of bait and blamed us for not catching any bait fish when we weren’t even fishing for them. 6 hour charter for $800 ran out of bait fish after the first (and only) caught fish so ended up with two rods in the water for six people - talk about getting ripped off. A charter should be straight forward - a rod in the water for most people on the boat. They had two for six people. No hidden costs, ITS your fault...you didn’t pay extra for bait... only a rod or two in the water for a whole boat full of people because they try to save money on bait “Boss bait is really expensive” - really?? Go some place else not worth the risk and money - trust someone else to show you a good time.

My family and I took a fishing trip with the crew at Hooked Up. We had a ball! We caught a huge Hammerhead Shark - about 10 feet and over 500 pounds! The crew was excellent and were very prepared. The kids each caught fish and were just as excited as my wife and I. I would highly encourage you to get Hooked Up with Taco and the crew if you ever want to fish the waters around Ft. Lauderdale. You will have the best time!

Captain Taco and All Hooked Up are a great outfit. I came down last minute with my 11 year old son. I called 2 days in advance and Taco was able to squeeze us in. We did a shared charter, there was a total of 5 of us . When we started heading out the second hand man, Matt, brought all of us in the cabin and explained in detail everything we would be doing and if any of us were interested in mounting if we caught a big one so he knew what way to bring the fish in. Needless to say the water was really choppy that day and a rough trip for all boats on the water. There was not much talk over the radio with anyone catching anything, we were not the only ones. We stayed out 4 hours and only got 4 bites, but the crew and Captain Taco couldnt apologize enough for the bad fishing that day. I will definitely book with him again because this guy cares and sometimes thats just fishing.

What an amazing day on the water with Capt Taco & Lou. This father-son team was amazing for my very first deep sea fishing trip! I was pretty intimidated going into the whole experience but hours later my arms were burning from reeling in 5 fish (smoked my boss) and my stomach hurt from all the belly laughs.Get on the water with these guys!

Awesome experience we did 2 full days! We caught lots of fish - including 2 huge sailfish. You cant make fish bite - so the 5 stars is for the crew - really capable deck hand Noodles, great boat Capts Darren and Lou. Great attitudes and made us feel at home

Had a awsome time with captain Taco caught a lot of fish definatly recommend them. First mate worked his butt off for us. I will use them again.

The hospitality was impeccable! This was my first time trying this sport, and I must say, it was ROCKIN!!! The crew was knowledgeable, friendly, and and a TON of fun! Didnt even have to miss my Steelers play, as Full Circle had us covered for the entire football ticket! Thank you Full Circle for creating memories, one wave at a time. (waving)

Taco is very knowledgeable and honest. He makes sure that my fishing trip across the state of FL is worth every penny. I would recommend him to all skill levels. I look forward to my next trip.

Dave, Pete, and Greg were awesome! They put us us in the right spots and worked really hard to get us the fish we wanted. We caught a big bull shark, Mahi, some nice tuna, a barracuda and an awesome sailfish! Thanks again and well hopefully be back next year.
