My family and I went fishing on the Flamingo we had an absolute amazing time! Ryan was the best first mate! Captain Matthew was awesome!! We went on the morning and afternoon trip caught a few fish but definitely enjoyed the beautiful weather and great conversations!! I have went back a few more times just to enjoy the beautiful water and views! Seeing sea turtles coming up for air!! Beautiful nice and relaxing definitely worth every penny!!! And of course reeling in fishy’s 🎣🐠🐟

We flew down to FL specifically for the tours at Flamingo Fishing. In the past theyve always treated us well as they did this go around. We did four tours with them this past weekend. The morning, afternoon, and evening tours all have their own special experience. The staff, the Captains, and the deck hands, all were great. They are there to help and work to find the fish. The price point is amazing compared to other tours. Its the best value in South Florida. Special thanks to Ryan and Joe for assisting us on all of our trips.

What a fun trip! Crew was very kind, professional, and helpful! For those of us with minimal fishing experience - Joe was super helpful in explaining how to cast, reel it in, whatever we needed to know! Captain Sonnie took us to multiple locations, then would tell us how far to drop our lines. We didnt have many bites thanks to the weather. But Joe visited with everyone & kept us entertained & informed. All-in-all, an enjoyable trip, and great memories for my kiddos. Thank you guys! Dont forget to tip Joe! It was just a nice boat ride. Advertising a little questionable!! 20 minutes to the fishing grounds. Might want to question that part..the mate however was outstanding. The boat was very comfortable and clean. For the value overall..if your not overly interested in catching fish and just want to relax and enjoy the sites I would recommend them

My family and I went on this fishing boat recently and the captain and 1st mate We’re extremely friendly and helpful. I recommend this trip to anyone looking to have a good time.

This was the worst experience. We took our daughter who has never been and she got really sick to where she passed out and needed medical attention. All the captain of the boat kept saying to me was if my daughter doesn’t get on the ambulance when I call them she will go to jail. At no point did he ask if she was ok and if we needed help I had to demand for him to call for help. Even though my daughter is a young adult she still needed medical attention. The worst feeling is to know your kid needs help and all the captain kept yelling was how she will go to jail. Worst experience!!!!

My husband & I love Flamingo. Cap Tom & Garrett are a riot with great hospitality and sense of humor. We try to go once a month. Theyre open all year round -- depending on the season weve caught our lunch -- yellow jack, triggers, grunt. Someone caught a massive king fish & shared some fillets with the group. Love this crew, they are professional and have A LOT of experience. They also told us of a couple restaurants close by that will prepare your catch. All in all, a great experience!! If you’re looking for a great fishing experience, I’d highly recommend them.

Did the half day deep sea charter for my dad’s birthday. Ryan was very helpful. The only negative was we didn’t care for how crowded it was. We were lined up like sardines to fish which proved difficult in choppy water. My dad was the only one of the four of us to land a fish, which tangled 10 lines on the reel in. Ryan was quick to get us set back up tho.

Great fishing trip, highly recommend! Joe was the best! Hooked a huge fish, fought it for 10 minutes,it was awesome! Coming back next week for sure!!

Crew mate Ryan and Captain Matthew were PHENOMENAL. The conditions weren’t the best for fishing today and we still caught plenty. They were friendly, funny, and very committed to making sure we had a great time and caught some good fish. We will MOST DEFINITELY be back. I couldn’t recommend this drift fishing company enough. The Captain and crew of the Flamingo did a great job! Had an awesome time on board. Everyone caught fish. If youre looking for an inexpensive way to try salt water fishing this is it.

We deep sea drift fished in April 2021. Trip was wonderful. Crew was attentive and fun to be with. We caught plenty of fish. Boat was well controlled and not over crowded. While heading back to shore we spotted a school of Mahi-mahi and the captain turned us around and we fished an additional hour. It was truly a great day.

Have you ever fished on ocean before? If the answer is no then do this first. Totally reasonable and the staff was friendly, and helped with everything, you dont need a thing except maybe bring a few drinks and a small snack. Literally just get on site down and listen to the instructions and enjoy yourself.This trip will give you an idea of you want to spend some bigger bucks on a more private trip out on a smaller boat. We didnt catch any fish but several other people did - thats just the luck of the draw.For Midwestern folk or those that have weak stomachs. The water is pretty choppy from what you are used to. This not like any lake even on a rough day you have been on. Even the tough guy dad might feel a little sick on this boat ride... Put your man pride away if you have not been on the ocean a lot and buy some Dramamine and take it ahead of time! Just do it, the whole trip will be that much better.Oh... They do sell soda and snacks on the boat typically for a fair price... you guys should sell some Dramamine btw.

People that have been rating the Flamingo poorly on the basis that they did not catch anything are sore losers. The boat targets king mackeral fish. The boat literally self describes itself as a drift fishing boat which means the boat drifts along in the current mimicking a school of bait fish waiting for the King fish to strike. The boat wants to and strides for as many fish to be caught as possible. Dont listen to the first timers that are upset they didnt get anything. Give this boat a try, you may or may not love it. Ive been many of times and continue to fish with them.

2nd time out with this boat. 2 years ago we had a great time. Shallow fishing and my son caught several fish. This time out the captain wanted to go deep water fishing. 3 hours out only 2 shallow fish caught on the entire boat. We come down once a year on vacation and we will look for another boat to go shallow fishing.

Went out this morning with my family. We are experienced anglers and had a great time. Boat is clean and in order and Captain Tom and mate Victor worked hard to keep everyone catching something. Everything was as advertised and we had a great time and everyone on my party caught a few fish. Will definitely be back, would recommend. Price is outstanding.

For the price it cant be beat. We did exactly as first mate Anthony told us and ended up catching 5 Bonitas and a King Mackerel. Was a great time for our first saltwater boat fishing session.

Went out today with some family. Caught my first Sailfish!!! Boat was good and the crew very helpful.

So we decided to give this company a try. First the crew was friendly, and the boat was clean... They do try... Unfortunately sticking 30 people on one side of the boat to fish and well you could only imagine. Tangles lots and lots of tangles... We spent more time fixing tangles then we spent fishing. Out of the 30 people, we caught 3 fish and each time a fish was caught it ended in a big mess and you really could not tell who actually caught the fish! They should definitely limit the amount of people but for 40$ probably not cost prohibitive... Would never waste my time again, you are better to save your money and jump on a sport fishing boat....

Full boat only about 4 of us caught less than 10 fish in 4 hours. They offer you a chance to win a few dollars by paying $5 per person into the fishing pool where the biggest fish takes home all the cash that everyone put into the fishing pool. Don’t do it, it’s a hustle or scam on the flamingo. We were top competitor for biggest fish and toward the end of the trip the captain told everyone to pull their lines up and low and behold someone catches a fish at the last second. Only problem is that the captain, who is not allowed to fish during the trip, well he is reeling in a huge trigger fish from the second level of the deck where only the captain and his crew have access. Rather than reeling the fish all the way up, the captain hands the rod to one of the customers below and the customer finishes reeling in the fish. Needless to say I brought it up to one of the mates and asked if that fish counted toward the fish pool and of coarse he didn’t know. But when we returned back to the dock, the captain walked directly up to the guy he handed the rod too and gave him the cash. I called and complained to the office and they swore up and down that I was seeing things and that there captain would never do such a thing. I told them that I had several witnesses to what happened and they hung up on me. So I decided to just write a review, on how they treated a 100% Disable Veteran On Fathers Day On June 17, 2018.

Fished with Capt Mathew me and my family had a great time. Boat is clean, unlike the other nasty boats and crew in the area. Rebecca was awesome, game great directions to the boat and was helpful with other ideas to keep the family happy. Would definately fish Flamingo next time we are in Fort Lauderdale. Caught some fish to boot

Great service and very nice people running everything. Down to whoever answer the phone in the office and Joe on the boat. He help my baby catch his first fish. Too bad mommy and daddy didnt catch anything lmbo. But we had a lot of fun as a family.

Best party boat fishing charter Ive ever been on. I took my daughter and even though she got sea sick she had a blast. The boat wasnt fully booked, a total of 4 passengers and 2 crew, and they still took us out. That is customer service at its best. Not to mention that Joe the mate took very good care of my daughter while she was sick. The Captain put us on fish at every spot we stopped. I WILL DEFINITELY BE USING THEM AGAIN!!

This is a tourist level fishing boat to say you went fishing. If you want to catch fish go elsewhere. The crew was nice and attentive. The captain was just there to just get you to the reef. I know fishing is just that and fish bite when they want but IMO one of the captains jobs is to put you on the fish. Didn;t happen here.He put us on the reef to drift....and drift we did, almost to the beach where the fish arent on the sandy bottom. I would have liked to stay more on the reefs here the fish congregate but the captain paid no attention. Fire up that boat more OCaptain. Sure its more effort and $$ in gas but youll have happier fish customers. Im heading back to Fish City Pride party boat for my fishing

Captain fishes where ever TF he wants too. Your over a reef for about a whole 2min then its sand the other 3hrs. Dnt waste no more gas than you have too capt. Crew was nice and helpful. The ride, fishing and everything else was horrible and you smell like rotten fish hours afterwards from the bait (after taking multiple showers)

This is just a tourist level fishing boat but with poor service. I dont think they want you catch fish. We just wondering 4 hours with nothing. only 2 fish with 20-30 people on board!

The fish were biting and our Captain knew where to find them, because we have had no idea what we were doing but still caught a bunch of fish. Thank you for a great time!!
