Nicest people. Room was extremely clean with everything we could possibly need. Great location too. All rooms are decorated differently and are well done! Highly recommend staying at the Oasis!

Very nice hotel i plan on staying if i come back to Fort Lauderdale. The floors were a bit dirty however everything else was perfect. Loved the 2 TVs in my room and had extra everything blankets, towels, rags etc. the hotel even had bowls, plates, cups, silverware never seen that before! Couch was comfy and bed was too but the frame we had was sooo squeaky any movement by getting off or on was loud. Hotel staff and stuff was so nice they even have a VERY SWEET hotel kitty. A/C was very nice and quiet loved that. Very clean and very nice hotel!

This was the most AMAZING and coziest spot ever. It’s super close to everything and right in the middle of the airport and beaches. The owner is cool and very pleasant. I stayed for 4 nights and it was so peaceful and relaxing that I didn’t want to leave. The surroundings makes you feel like you are on a tropical resort lol and I am so glad I chose this place. Beautiful getaway and I will come back soon. The price is unbeatable and reasonable but the inner peace and good vibes is what really makes this place unique and needed. I loved it here!

Stayed for a week in February 2021 and we had a wonderful visit. The garden and grounds were beautiful, reasonably priced, and a solid location. I noticed cameras posted in common areas as well as the at the entrance to the rooms. Because of Covid, staff do not enter the room after check in & bring you what you need upon request, never had to wait for an item and Nelson was super nice. We will return next time were visiting South Florida!

I was in lauderdale for the weekend and was looking for something inexpensive & simple so I took a chance on the oasis, To my shock for a 2 star it was NEW, immaculate and super cute & quaint, my wife and I loved it . The room was completely renovated, the bathroom new & spotless - will def stay again when on the east coast .

The owners made it very easy for me to check in late. My room was exactly what I saw in the pictures as well as the grounds are well maintained.

Honest review here. And I’ve also never reviewed a hotel, and I’ve stayed at some really nice hotels. Small rooms and bathroom but I’m in a single bed room, not sure if there are bigger rooms. It’s all you need though, at first I was like, “a garden?” But then I went into their garden and whoever maintains it puts ALOT of work into it. It looks great. You can definitely chill back here (where I’m writing this review haha) with friends and bring some charcuterie and wine or some beers and just relax, or coffee and a book in the morning. This place has a price point like a really low end hotel but this is, to me, a solid 3 star. Not many amenities but who cares, in the end you just want a comfy bed to sleep in and a tv to fall asleep to. I’m definitely going to stay here again. 10 minutes from the beach unless you get stopped at a draw bridge because as you know Ft. Lauderdale is a big capital for mega and super yachts to require the draw bridges to open pretty often around here. No coffee pots like with many hotels but a Starbucks is literally across the parking lot, so I’ll be going there in the am. Anyways, save some dough and stay here, there is a futon in the room that can be an extra place to sleep for kids or friends. Everything is fairly simple and the location is pretty nice. Walgreens across the street as well as a strip mall with restaurants and other things. Owner seems nice, he walks you straight to your room. Not sure how long this place has been here but the rooms have been recently updated. Enjoy your stay, and enjoy the garden, if you want a pool, go vacation in Tucson Arizona or someplace where a nice beach isn’t at, you don’t need a pool when the Atlantic is 10 minutes away with beautiful water clarity for snorkeling. Also if you want to book a trip for a party boat, you can take out a private charter with a US coast guard licensed captain to keep you safe while strolling around stopping at a double sided beach. River beach/Atlantic beach, and also a stop at a popular sandbar that is usually only about waist deep. Great company and even greater captains. A few boats hold up to 12 people for a private charter or a bigger boat that holds up to 49 people. The company is called Staying Afloat Party Boat. ( look them up on Instagram, 5 star company and you can see how much fun people are having) You will not be upset with your decision. Each ride can be catered to whatever need you want, even drop you off at a restaurant in style, great sound system on the boats too and plus it’s byob, so you can bring whatever food and drinks you want and have a great time while a captain of your choosing keeps you safe on these busy waterways. Check in is only till 8pm I guess but no fault of my own customs took 3 hours after my flight landed at 6pm. No help from the motel and I showed up and the place was empty. Lost my night and no response from management. It’s a shame that’s how they treat customers

Horrible location; lots of construction; not covid clean; could not reach travelocity; horrible manager; rude; cussing in front of children; bugs in rooms.

Positive: Nothing Negative: The staff was suppose to be there till 8 PM . I arrived at 7:30 PM NO ONE at the desk. I never stayed in the room.

Stayed here a couple nights before our cruise. Everyone was very friendly and I have to say, I enjoyed feeding the little squirrel that they had out back. Our room was clean, quiet, and spacious enough for our family of 3 when we were there.

What a great place to stay! Our room was very clean and comfortable and the manager was very helpful and kind. They also have a beautiful garden in the back where you can sit a relax. Thank you Oasis! I will definitely comeback.

I have traveled to 48 out of 50 States in the Union. I am Currently traveling for the covid crisis. This institution is so poor I did not even check in. My wife, who is the nurse, booked the reservation. I have dropped her off at the hospital and decided to come to the motel and check in so that I could get some sleep before driving home. The gentleman at the front desk literally yelled at me for giving my name instead of my wifes. Then I was yelled at for coming at 10am instead of 3. He was so irate he didnt even realize that I didnt care and would have gladly waited until 3 to check in. I could have also waited for my wife to get off work to check in. In one word, horrible. You could not pay me to stay at a place with such a poor desk check. Spend your money elsewhere.

Chris at the front desk went above and beyond to help us by printing boarding passes when our crise ship switched our rooms. He was also helpful, in general, when we checked in. Very friendly. The room reminded me of a tiny cottage. Cute and very clean!

The rooms: I love the hardwood floors and blue drapes and the tile in the bathroom. The rooms are small and cozy with comfortable beds and good air conditioning. Theres a tiny desk and a small refrigerator and a decent sized closet.But the real reason to stay here is the big courtyard with seating and gorgeous plant life everywhere and sun shades. It is beautiful and relaxing.Overall, this is a wonderful place to stay if you dont need giant, super luxurious rooms.

I had a pleasant stay, there is a need for increasing the cleanliness and a fresh paint job. The grounds are nice. There is a Starbucks nearby and highly recommend the Italian restaurant and Tom Jenkins BBQ. Walgreens across the street. The basics are covered for this hotel, there is much potential for this property with owner interest, this is a no frills place with the basics. A shuttle to your cruise can be booked through the manager. The WiFi was across the property. I enjoyed meeting the hotel cat. $$

It’s a very nice, small hotel - very clean and OK neighborhood. WiFi worked great. Had a beautiful garden with seating and grilling possibilities - we came in so late from Europe, we didn’t get a chance to utilize it, but looked nice. All and all very well kept and great value for the money.

It was a very pleasant surprise. We booked one night before cruise. Just wanted to sleep in it. Found that the manager is really really nice. Our one bag was delayed arrived midnight. the manager waited for the delivery, asked about it, went beyond their duty to help. The room was clean. the bedding was very comfortable. The landscape is very cute.

The place is charming x 10. Horticulturally speaking=TLC. Very pleasant clean updated rooms. Cant go wrong here if you want inviting and warm and non big chain sterile mega-corp hotel. Oasis is certainly what this place is. Love bouquet inns

Would have been 4 Stars but .....The front desk guy saw me standing outside the entire hotel smoking and when I was done I went into the office to ask for food menus and he said,no smoking in rooms and asked what room I was in as if to insinuate I was going to smoke in the room.I swear if the hotel lies and says I smoked in the room there will be legal actions taken on my behalf.Other than that it’s a quaint place for an Day stay.Nice clean room and quiet besides traffic being so close.

We spent the night here here before our cruise. It served its purpose. the only reason i didnt give it a perfect 5 is that it could have been cleaner. BUT...the staff was friendly, the back patio area was awesome. Plus the wife and I both forgot our jackets there. when we went back a week later,they held on to them for us. like i said..Nice friendly staff

I loved this hotel! It was so cute and comfortable. Not big with a bunch of frills. But cozy and all we needed for an overnight stay.

Be prepared - my only standard was no cockroaches, but you’ll find them crawling around your room. Only one person will be able to be buzzed in the door for check in leading you to think it’s an unsafe area. The rooms wreak of bleach to the point where it burns your nostrils. Put the do not disturb sign on your door.

Fabulous chic place. Wonderful well-maintained grounds with beautiful plants and flowers. Clean room with a microwave and a fridge. Starbucks is right across the side street. Walgreens and delicious Aqua e Farina Italian restaurant conveniently across the main street. Great value for the money. Would definitely stay here again. A true gem!

I booked and paid for this hotel on my to Florida. When I got off my plane at 11.30pm I received a message from hotel manager Nelson saying there was no late check in after 8pm and to reply with my email for late check in instructions.I did this. I got no instructions. I called the number and the hotel again and again and they just turned their phone off. I was left stranded in the middle of the night. They refused to give me a refund. They are clearly scum in this place

Great little place to stay the night before a cruise. Weve stayed at some of the high end hotels (and very expensive), but if you want something quaint, clean and affordable, Oasis is the place. Theres a cute little courtyard/patio to hang out with your travel mates.

It’s very quaint but the management and staff are so friendly! And the greenery around the hotel are gorgeous! Huge patio area perfect for hanging out before going out for the night!

If I could give this place -10 stars I would . I have never had a manager talk to me in this manner ever in my life . On January 8,2018 I had a voice mail from the hotel saying my c.c was invalid . I today January 9,2018 called back to see what the issue was . I booked this hotel on a 3rd party site and when booked the hotel(and even called to make sure it was booked correctly) the 3rd party site said I was able to pay at the hotel . When I spoke to the hotel I was NEVER told I had to pay one full night 7 days before . So was confused why the hotel was even trying to run my card . The manger answered and I was simply asking questions and was trying to give my c.c number so I didnt loose my resveration . This manage mocked me said I gave a fake c.c number . Every time I attempted to talk he talked over me . I was asking if the card said declined, seeing how I never had a invalid message come up on my card . He kept laughing saying that I gave a fake c.c. I was trying to fix the issue, I then said if I had a choice I would switch hotels, his response was well you dont have to stay here . Im traveling down to Florida from NY on business and my hotel was booked for 16&17 stay. After he made the statement that I didnt have to stay here and saying my c.c was fake I said to cancel my hotel room . He then laughed even harder called me a fake person, and having a fake card . Once I said I was writing a bad review online he said go ahead your a fake person and you cant do that you havent stayed here . Well guess what I had HORRIBLE SERVICE ON THE PHONE !!!!!!!!!! I have never be downgraded so much in my life by a hotel . I will never ever think of staying anywhere near this hotel or recommend it . RUN!

Dirty and smelly. Asked the man at the for desk for another room because the room smelled like mold and pets, he refused. Stains on furniture and bugs in the windows. We decided to stay elsewhere. The man at the front desk was rude and belligerent. Avoid this gross establishment.

This hotel is absolutely lovely! I was told it was recently renovated. It was a nice modern room with everything I needed for a great stay. At most hotels for this price theres always something lacking, but our room was clean and comfortable. Checking in and out was a breeze. Staff was friendly and accomadating. The location is great, near the airport and everything you need is nearby. I would definitely recommend it!

Im writing this during our stay here, at a Starbucks, where I am literally looking at the hotel across the street). Nelson is a fantastic host. The room is immaculate. What Angela and Baker said below..all true. There is plenty of room, with a futon, desk, good sized bathroom, mini-fridge (bigger than most), microwave, remote controlled AC, HD TV with true HD content, air cleaner with cool blue night light, hair dryer with nightlight in the bathroom, and an extra sink outside the bathroom. We walked to the best BBQ joint (Tom Jenkins) at which I’ve ever eaten, and theres a Walgreens that sells wine (Hello, cruise ship!) across the street. There’s plenty of other great food within walking distance.The price is perfect.Reasons not to stay here: None.

We enjoyed at Oasis very much. It was clean, nicely decorated inside and outside as well, and extremely friendly.

Cockroaches in my room, no after hour number to call, no phone in room, tv signal goes out often. Was here because of an emergency and they took total advantage of my vulnerability.

The rooms where damp felt like you were in a jungle.We forgot a bag there, so we mailed twice without a response. Then when i called he was rude and did nothing to adress the situation. In the end we lost our bag.I would advice everyone NOT to stay here.

BEWARE!! Found out my room was cancelled on cruise arrival day. I was told by owner or manager it was due to a credit card processing issue. They offered a RE-booking rate at a 100% higher price! even through I had a CONFIRMED resevation several months earlier. After seeing similar suspicous cancelation complaints on review site, this a appears to be SCAM to generate more revenue when demand was up. Manager/Owner told me he had calls willing to pay higher rate and hung up on me. BEWARE If you want to to avoid being stranded during your travels. I eventually booked another property with the SAME card used at this hotel to make my original resevation. I am SUSPICIOUS of favorable reviews as legitimate. SHAME on you Oasis !

Uncomfortable beds, electrical problems with the lighting, no phone in the rooms! Unable to contact owner because of their hours, and nobody at reception most of the day even during their hours. We arrived a little early, and they dont even have a lobby to wait in. We left after the first night, and after talking to the owner he refused to refund our second night.

Extremely disappointed. Booked this hotel 3 months in advance and received a phone today 3 weeks prior to our stay. I was told the hotel had overbooked themselves and couldnt accommodate our reservation and that it would be cancelled. THIS IS DURING THE BOAT SHOW weekend. They offered no solutions and didnt seem to care that they were cancelling at all. This is a trip my husband and I have been planning for a year without kids and now 3 weeks prior to the trip I am stressed about where we are going to stay. I had heard good things about this hotel, but now all I have is a bad taste in my mouth.

Accommodating to our last minute reservation after the hurricane

They had everything you would hope for like a microwave, clean towels, and a mini fridge, but the bugs were terrible. Mosquitos flying all over the room, ants all over the walls and windows, and termites in and around the bed. Would not bring a family here. If youre solo, you might be able to handle it.

Great location: easy access to the airport and to visit Fort Lauderdale. Superb garden to relax. Excellent reception. Very good price.

This was our second time at Oasis. Each for 2 weeks. We are absolutely in love with the hotel. It is clean and inviting, the beds are comfortable and the garden invites you to relax and unwind. We would always book again. Greetings to the whole team, especially to Nelson and Meo (the little cute cat) :)
