This is a great place to stay if you are going to mpt for classes. Its a 10min walk to mpt and their is plenty for stores around you for all your needs. Im so impressed with the way the company always responds to emails. Dont hesitate to stay with them.

The check in process and checkout process is streamline which makes it so easy to book...everything is hassle free. The 1 bedroom suite was well appointed and impeccable. I liked the location of my house. It had a very simple, clean and spacious layout. Great location to marinas, the beach, supermarkets, food and bars.The back garden was incredible and I spent lots of time out there. My only complaints are 4 girls to one bathroom and the location and number of outlets in my room werent ideal. Overall, happy with my stay and they were a very easy/accommodating company to work with.

Fantastic accommodation! I had a great little place just off SE 17th...perfect central location within walking distance of many amenities. Apartment was equipped with MORE than I needed...cooking supplies, utensils, toiletries, garbage bins, even a Tupperware container! I contacted SmartMove via their email support and received prompt, friendly replies. 10/10 will return again!

As soon as i arrived to Fort Lauderdale, i had a bad experience with another crew house company. I immediately called smart move and Busi was able to help me immediately and i was moved in within 30 minutes. She is super sweet and responsive. I never worry about her not picking up the phone whenever i call. The comfort and location is worth the extra few dollars per night (trust me, i experienced how bad the cheaper ones can be). I don’t plan on ever using a different crew house company.

Very nice accommodation. Room well cleaned before you come in. The location is well suited and close to major shopping malls. You can reach them on foot. The staff is very professional and engaging. They continuously check on you and always ready to help.

I’ve been nothing but satisfied with the crew house I was placed in, including the cleanliness, and in particular, the great customer service I’ve received. My friends in houses run by other companies are jealous of mine and are trying to move into mine with me! This was a random selection by me and I feel lucky to have fallen into the perfect place at a great price.

I do agree and disagree about pricing. Yes it is pricy for a month yet if in a hotel around here wow! Id have to say the only downside is being close to a hospital and hearing the sirens. Yet the staff via online and in person are exceptional! I will have no problem booking again!

This business had my previous review removed.I was a renter in a property managed by this establishment. They were extremely unresponsive in getting problems resolved and they are rude. I had a water heater leak that flooded the wood flooring in the bedroom, and because of their slow response I had to go 10 days with cold water and a total of 1 month with my bedroom tore up. I had to leave the unit while the repair was finally getting done and when I came back the place was a mess and had construction debris. When I asked they still offered no cleaning service or reduction in rent to compensate any of the above issues.I had to break the lease early soon after that for a job opportunity out of state. I ended up having to pay a cleaning crew $180 for a move-out clean due to all the saw dust left over from the new floors that were put in. They inspected the place and said they would not make any claim against my security deposit, however they later tried to tell me in email that they expected me to pay 4 months rent for early move out. They backed down when I said I still have my lease and it clearly states 2 months rent to break the 1-year lease. They were holding a total of 3 months worth of rent by this time and they told me that they were keeping that additional $1,150 ..... just because they feel like it, I guess.At this point they just hang up on me when I call and dont respond to email. It is impossible to get ahold of the actual person I need to talk to, and of course nobody knows anything.I ended up filing a complaint with BBB and with the county to try to resolve the issue and get my money back that they stole.

Smart Move are very helpful when it comes to arranging accommodation. Customer service is very good and I wouldnt hesitate to use them again for crew accommodation!

A great escape!In the midst of everything going on, was looking for a peaceful escape- Busi was outstanding, and helpful listening to needs, and accommodating with a great unit.Clean, spotless pool, great maintenance, quiet and private.The neighbors were very friendly, and location was awesome, close to beaches and its great to walk the 17th street bridge and take in the coastal air.Great proximity to Starbucks (walking distance), and Tom Jenkins BBQ is a must while staying.One of the best places Ive stayed, and the rental process was seamless- Busi, thanks for taking such great care and providing outstanding service and a great place!

Was a tenant at a property managed by Smart Move. They were slow and sloppy to respond to a water heater leak, which left me taking cold showers for 10 days and ruined the floors in the bedroom for a month. The manager is never available and staff is rude. Now that Ive left the property they refuse to return the extra months rent that I paid - so now Im filing a complaint with DBPR and Dept of agriculture and consumer services.---------------update:#1 - you can say anything you want, but there are hard/factual dates of how long the work took. I have the emails too…. Which I submitted to the county, BBB and a law firm.#2 - you stole my last months rent, which equals $1,150#3 - you were rude on the phone and now you refuse to talk to me. You dodged me even before that but blame me when I grew a shorter fuse after getting the run-around during my entire lease.#4 - It doesn’t take a month for water to dry#5 - I have no correspondence saying that you are giving me $115 and I told you I am out of state (the reason why I even broke the lease), so that is a lie.#6 - I finally was able to get one of you to admit that you stole my last month’s rent and that you were holding it hostage until you got the mailbox key back, which (again) I’m out of state.

Busi was most accommodating in finding us a comfortable long term housing arrangement in the middle of a difficult family emergency. We cannot express how nice it is to have some stability during this period of uncertainty in our lives. The process of locating an apartment, through the booking and move in was seamless, with excellent communication the entire time. The photos and descriptions are accurate which is key when committing long term, site unseen. We are very thankful to be moved in and appreciate the comforts that a hotel just cannot offer.

Clean and nicely situated apartment in a great location on jnctn of Miami Rd and 20th Street near facilities of 17th Street open air shopping mall and a big Publix supermarket. All facilities necessary were there. On site laundry room was a huge bonus.

Crew houses have everything you need in a contemporary and relaxed setting. Convenient check in process, full kitchen, nice dining area, comfortable living space with wifi and entertainment options, great A/C, simple, but nicely decorated bedrooms. Weekly house cleaning and outdoor lounge areas are a bonus for longer stays. Staff is friendly and helpful.

I have used Smart Move for years! My most recent time with them, I rented an apartment for an extended amount of time, and it was an amazing experience. Prime location and the apartment was a nice, cozy place to call home! The staff is always professional and courteous. Their rental properties are nice and clean, and their locations are close to downtown and the beach which is so nice. Fort Lauderdale is a great place to visit, and staying with Smart Move is so much better than staying at a hotel both for the amenities and the price. I would recommend using Smart Move to all my family and friends!! Love them!!

Smart Move is just that: a smart move. I dealt with Busi, and she was kind, helpful, and more than accommodating. The house was clean, comfortable, and actually felt homey, rather than the normal crew-hovel where the whole place feels like a mental institution from some horror movie. The other guests were quiet and respectful, and while that may have been luck-of-the-draw, nice places encourage nice behavior. I will stay with Smart Move again, most definitely.

Office staff is extremely understanding & accommodating, they go above and beyond to assist as best as they can. The unit was very comfortable & honestly felt like home. Very quiet neighborhood and location was perfect.This will be my choice of stay moving forward.

I enjoyed my stay with Smart Move very much, the house was what youd expect, living quarters, kitchen, living room, porch and spacious back yard. They had everything youd need to cook a meal. They also provided towels and had an area for laundry. It was very affordable especially if your down there participating in course through MPT or any other establishment. It was a lovely little home. I will be back in the very near future.

They are absolutely amazing. You have to call or email. I actually went into the office after speaking with Busi on the phone and she was extremely helpful. Later that day she emailed me pricing, photos, and the address so I could check out the area. The location was in a great area near a park with an awesome school system. You cant beat the prices and you definitely get what you pay for. Well furnished apartments in gorgeous areas.

Crew house was very clean and well kept - basically brand new. The house was conveniently close to MPT where I was taking classes so I could walk there in under 15 min. The management was very sweet and quick to respond all communication. Would definitely stay here again.

I stayed here for some classes at PYT. The room was so damp all the time, it made my papers feel wet. Then the bed was like cardboard and the shower wouldn’t stop dripping for 2 hours after use. It’s now been 17 days and I haven’t received my $250 security deposit, even though I have asked them to look into it twice since my checkout. I guess the room was clean when I got there so I should give them a star for that...

The accommodations we cute, friendly and safe. It was family oriented with the booking agent Busi making sure all was comfortable to the kids in the house making everyone feel welcome.A good spot for taking classes as its close to MPT. I chose to study off sight mostly where I had a bit more peace and quiet but for those wanting a social spot to stay this is certainly the place!

My family and I have been renting from smart move for almost a year now what we thought was going to be short term has turned into a longer stay. The staff is available at all times for any issue and is very responsive. Very pleasant.

The 1st place I rented with Smart Move was a bit small, so I upgraded to a larger apartment this time. The accommodations were very nice with a clean scent greeting me as I entered the apartment. You could tell that thought had been put into renovating the place. I enjoyed my stay and found the space clean and comfortable.

Smart Move is a breath of fresh air. Great customer service and wonderful apartments! After being in the apartment for a week, my TV started acting up. It was fixed within a few hours. Next time I stay with them I will be getting something bigger--cant wait!

Great crew house!

Smart Move have been a welcome asset to the Fort Lauderdale community, for myself in particular and the yachting community. I used their services as a crew member when needing short term accommodation for the crew, and for the last 5 years they have very successfully managed my duplex. I can highly recommend them for your accommodation needs, and also management skills of your property.

I lived in a long term rental with them for a year lease. Overall my experience was fine, not terrible and not terrific. We had some maitenence on the kitchen performed but never finished, but did get a new air conditioner installed. My rental was fine for a year... moved due to house location and found a nicer rental closer to work.

Booking my stay with Smart Move couldn’t have been easier. Busi found me an apartment that worked perfectly. She really listened to what I needed. Can’t beat their prices or service. I have used other companies in the area before and these guys leave them in the dust!

Issues with safety and cleanliness. There was a bong in the kitchen of the shared house I was placed in, that had been there before the present tenants had arrived and not removed. This leads me to believe they allow/are leniant with regards to marijuana use. There were drugs (marijuana) used at the house. There were people there who did not live there most nights, staying late into the evening partying in the backyard. Also, the sheets and pillowcases on my bed had not been washed and smelled of sweat. I informed Smart Move immediately and the issues were not addressed for two days. I vacated as soon as possible and emailed the owner regarding my experience, to which I have not hear back days later.

Great value for longer term stays. Rooms are clean and bright, and the staff are helpful and friendly.

During a difficult time of relocating for a job change, Smart Move provided an ideal solution for me with a reasonable month-to-month accomodation. The staff was very efficient and helpful in finding available options for me and very responsive to a small maintenance issue that arose. They even assisted me in finding a solution for a storage problem I had for some belingings of mine. The only qualm I have is the tiny parking spaces at the efficiencies, but then again, I have a big truck, and such is life.

It is my second home, Busi and all the support staff are very kind and supportive... i have come to know and respect them as my family.

Busi at the front desk is great! When I first booked my accommodations, she was very sweet and helpful on the phone. I was concerned because my flight arrived late at night. But, she reassured me that it was no problem (as the house and rooms are sucured by keypad code). I would definitely recommend Smart Move to any crew. First time with Smart Move and they are now our go-to people when we are in Ft Lauderdale. I changed my mind 3 times on how many bedrooms we needed as they accommodated every single change. They were simply wonderful! Our coffee machine stopped working 8 days into our stay – panic mode!! They brought a new one over immediately. It’s the small things that really make a big difference. I am a clean freak and was really happy with the cleanliness of the place we rented – nice change for me. The cleaning fee caught me by surprise but after seeing how clean the place was I have no problem pay that single cleaning fee every time we stay with them.

Could not get anyone to answer my calls, very poor service

Had issues connecting to WiFi several times this week. When I called the office the first time the woman was rude. We ran out of TP, paper towels and garbage bags one day after I arrived. When I called again for a restock I also asked for basic cleaning supplies to be provided, as crew houses are crew houses. The woman was super rude and told me to buy them myself, as if it was absurd I would expect them in the House I’m renting. I don’t know who she was speaking for as I met the owner who came to check on the property that evening and made the request to him directly. He was friendly, said no problem and the next day we had several items for cleaning along with basic household supplies. Anyway as I write this review from my phone the WiFi has been off for an hour and the password given for 301 and 305 are invalid. There goes computer work goals for this morning. I’m so over having to call the office to speak to a rude person over things that shouldn’t happen to begin with. Have been treated way better by other crewhouses like Anchored, and would have been there for this week if it wasn’t booked up. My first and last time with smart move.
