Corey and his Fort Collins team did amazing today. Although they were short staffed they worked together to be efficient and had amazingly positive attitudes. Keeps me coming back.

The line was sooooo deep this afternoon. Only had one bay working and multiple people just standing around. They must be having staffing issues. Im taking my business elsewhere. Used to be a loyal customer. Everytime I go now the line is 8 deep or they ran out of my type of oil. Poor management here.

Spoke to this manager about issues I experienced with employees at their Windsor location. He told me to drive all the way into Fort Collins and that he would make sure I was taken care of that day. Once I got there, their computers were down and they couldnt help me. Complete waste of my time 2 straight days! I used to be a loyal customer but after these experiences, Ill never return. OWNER, take control of your business!

The staff here had such a professionalism to them and I loved their sense of humor. They made me feel welcomed and that my patience and time were much appreciated. I liked that I was also shown the difference, informed and explained to by my mechanic what was going on under the hood of my vehicle. Thank you Les for servicing my vehicle! It drives so smoothly!

I seriously love this place! I work two jobs and having a day off is a rarity and I really didnt want to change my oil today but it needed to be done. Plus I just got my truck back from the shop after a year so I already new I needed to fix a ton. I have always gone to these guys for many vehicles and they have exceeded my expectations every single time! They always make sure to tell me what they are doing and what needs to be done, I love that! Plus the general conversation with these pros is awesome! I can appreciate a good sense of humor, on top if that I came in kinda close to closing (sorry about that) but they didnt slack at all! Just needed an oil change for our company car and of course was in a rush. The manager Jeff was amazing. He and his staff got me in and out in the time I walked over to the convenience store next door to get the guys some drinks. When I came back 3 guys were working on my SUV, Jeff had me checked out so all I had to do was pay and go. Much appreciated!

I needed a oil change and my transmission fluid changed. I own a Nissan and it required a special type of transmission fluid. They had everything I needed in stock and the work was done fast and perfectly. I definitely will return in the future for my next oil change.

Corey, Les, & Zakary were absolutely fantastic. It was just three of them on staff. They had an upbeat attitude and we’re so helpful with my Jeep. These men were working in the heat and were understaffed but provided great service please give these men a raise!

Service was prompt, quick, and correct. The technician also made sure I got the best price and saved me $6 on my oil change.

They were very fast. I was in and out in about 10 minutes. But when they were reviewing the other services my car may need, the advisor, Corey, informed me that my antifreeze needed to be changed over to coolant for the summer time. This is gross misinformation and I was not impressed. They also checked my transmission fluid with the vehicle off, which does not provide an accurate reading. Thankful for the speed, but a little more knowledge of how vehicles work would be appreciated. Most likely won’t be back.

Extremely slow, lazy, and incompetent. Crew loves to chat and not pay attention to their work. I’ve been going here for years and will no longer pay money to this place. Waited in line for 45 minutes just to tell me that the last time I was there they printed my sticker mileage off wrong, 2,000 miles earlier wrong. Last time I was there they also forgot to put the cap on my oil tank!! I was there to get an oil change and they ruined everything they could’ve about it. Horrible experience. Never again.

So I got an oil change and they changed my back brake light. The oil change went excellent but I just don’t understand how it takes 4 guys to find a simple brake light bulb for them to insert the wrong one and end up burning not only the wrong bulb but ended up causing electrical problems that I didn’t even have to begin with. That $11.99 brake light bulb turned into a $300 problem. Thanks Valvoline I appreciate you. I hope none of your employees pursue a career in mechanics or auto body.

My partner came here for an oil change and left with $280 out of her pocket. She was swindled into accepting services she had no idea about. l understand that its the workers jobs to upsell, but come on. There was nothing wrong with her differential fluid or transfer case fluid.They also filled her tires to 40 psi when its clearly recommended by the manufacturer to aim between 29 and 35 psi. Im so incredibly disappointed. Her familys been taking vehicles to Valvoline locations for years. After this experience? Never again as long as I can help it!Shame on you, Valvoline.

As a tiny little woman that drives a really large diesel truck, I’ve had my fair share of getting screwed by oil change services and dealerships. This was by far the most professional, fastest, and most personable experience I’ve ever had. Corey and Mike were a great service team, and thoroughly explained everything to me. I was in and out in under 15 minutes and an oil change that typically costs me $140 cost me $93 because of Ladies Day Tuesday. I will ABSOLUTELY be going back to this place! Thank you for your work!

Do not go to valvoline!!! They will break your car! With in the past 3 times Ive been there with this vehicle they have managed to break my oil pan, this time they failed too check my transmission fluid, which is now messing up my transmission. I will never go back. Zachary Russell the manager at the North Fort Collins store will cuss at you and try to Mansplaine you in a circle of stupidity. Do not go to valvoline unless you want your car to break.

Once again I’m posting a negative review. Valvoline either didn’t put an oil filter on my Mazda or didn’t tighten which led to all the oil spilling out and my engine seizing up. I’ve tried getting ahold of the owner all weekend (granted it was Mother’s Day) but every time I call they tell me that they’ll give me a call back. Nothing not a single call from anyone after they totaled my engine. Extremely unprofessional. Don’t go here unless you want to ruin your car

My usual experience with Valvoline is good if not great, however this past time on Thursday August 27th was not the same. Putting aside beliefs, I was under the impression that it was company policy to adhere to the Colorado mask mandate. This was not followed by either associate helping me. I was also not given the usual walk around of my vehicle checking my lights (which wouldve been helpful considering I have a turn signal out), did not have my washer fluid refilled, and I was not shown my final engine oil level. Im disappointed as this is not my usual experience there, but my judgement stands as these were the norms that were allowed to be broken. I used to recommend this place, but that wont be happening in the future.

Brought a Volvo in for an “instant” oil change. I waited 45 mins before they told me they didn’t have the oil my car needed and were running to the auto parts store to buy some... I waited around 2 hours and it was twice the coat of any other oil change I’ve ever gotten in town.

I took in my 2008 Suburban for a simple oil change, I figure any monkey could do it and I dont have to climb under my vehicle when its cold outside. Well, I online like to use the best oil money can buy so I bought my own Amsoil (13.50 a quart, x6 quarts) with my own Amsoil oil filter ($17 filter) and for a couple months probably less than 1,000 miles put on the vehicle my sister is driving it into town and she hears a knocking noise from the engine and the oil pressure gauge is running low, she pulls over and checks the oil, nothing even registered on the dip stick, so shes forced to buy $30/3 quarts worth of overpriced (Ironically, Valvoline brand oil) from a small convenience shop and even with 3 quarts it was just barely reading on the dip stick, the vehicle only takes 6 quarts so that means that there was maybe 2 quarts? 1.5 quarts? of oil left in the motor. Meanwhile Im working 150 miles away staying in a hotel for a week and cant obviously go check to see whats wrong. So the vehicle sits in the driveway for a week until I get home theres a huge puddle of oil underneath the vehicle. I look at it, apparently they dont know what a torque wrench is or how to properly secure an oil filter because the stupid thing is halfway loose and just dripping oil.So I figure okay, just to prove a point, I hook up my truck to my trailer and load the suburban onto the trailer and drive an hour into town (I live in the middle of nowhere) burning a gallon of fuel every 7 miles (Its not cheap) and I pull up to Valvoline and simply tell them I want a refund for the oil I bought $72 worth and the $35 or whatever it was for the oil change, they were nice and the manager or whoever said he couldnt get ahold of his manager who has to authorize a refund being a Saturday I figure thats okay. He took down my number and said Id get a call on Sunday before 10 AM to talk to customer services. He did offer to re-do the oil change and clean up the massive amount of oil thats now all over the bottom of my suburban, but I said no. And the reasoning is if you cant do it right the first time how are you going to do it right the 2nd time? Are you just magically going to grow a brain and learn what a $30 torque wrench from Hardborfreight can do? Anyway, no I dont want another garbage job done on my vehicle. Sunday morning comes, no phone call, Monday comes, still no phone call, Monday night comes, heres me typing my review because theres still no phone call. And dont even worry about calling me back. The issue here isnt the $100 I wasted on an oil change, the issue here is that you almost blew up a $5,000-$10,000 motor because you cant use a little bit of common sense, and who knows how many thousands of my miles you took off of the life of my motor because it was ran extremely low. If I had half a brain Id get lawyers involved but Im honestly too lazy to do that. When I drove my $50,000 truck with a $15,000 dollar trailer with a $60,000 Suburban on the it buying Amsoil I thought the message was clear Im not worried about the money, but if youre going to run a business you should really understand the cost benefit of keeping customers happy because now Ill be leaving a review on every single sight possible. I hope the $100 refund was worth the thousands of dollars youll be losing in revenue, just like the thousands of dollars of damage you caused to my motor.Lets add up how expensive the most expensive oil change Ive ever paid for cost:$75 for oil now polluting all over the highway$35 for the oil change itself$30 for another 3 quarts of oil after it leaked 4-5 quarts out$25 for fuel and wear and tear on my truck and trailer to prove a point$75 for another 6 quarts of Amsoil I had to buy to re-do the oil changeAnd the worst part of it all, I had to do my own oil change - PricelessLets not forget you ate 3 hours of my Saturday for a trip that should have never happened.There we go, a $240 oil change.After you screwed up my brother-inlaws transmission fluid change I should have known to stay away.

I have been going here with for several years with 5 or 6 different vehicles. I have always have been satisfied in the past and posted 5 star reviews for them too. However, this last time my wife went they took advantage of her by overcharging her for her oil change. They also charged us for more oil than they actually used and admit to doing so as well. Needless to say they have lost a very loyal customer!

I went into this Valvoline Instant Oil Change for the first time a few days ago. My husband has been a regular customer there for years and years but a week ago he received poor service from the team lead working. He called the manager, Harold, to let him know about the service issues and Harold responded immediately with corrective actions to fix the issue. My husband also mentioned that I needed a transmission flush on my vehicle, but after his experience, I made the decision to go elsewhere. The manager went above and beyond, coming in early with his assistant, and they personally flushed my transmission fluid and ensured that I had a fantastic experience as a new customer! From my experience alone, I would definitely recommend this location!

The crew at Valvoline in Fort Collins are great. Theyre fast and professional. Its clear that each member of the team is communicating with one another to ensure quality service. They check tire pressure and fluid levels, topping them off as needed. They check lights, wipers and air filter. More importantly, they double-check the oil level to ensure a proper fill amount. They even showed me the level on the dipstick before they closed the hood, so I knew there was oil in my engine before I drove away. Superb.

Once you enter the bay, its super speedy and convenient. Tech always informs you of manufacturer-suggested service. Ive only ever done the oil change. Coupons available online or by email. Staff is always friendly.It may be inferred but just to verify, this shop does work while you remain in your vehicle. I believe there is also WiFi available should you need it.

I have been using this location for quick oil change for 30 years. The name on the sign has changed a couple of times, but I still keep going. I want to add to my previous comments by saying we are still using this store and continue to be very satisfied. The people here work very hard to make this a pleasant and speedy experience. Nice to see, they recently upgraded the driveway and waiting area with new pavement. I am especially pleased with how they make a comprehensive list of recommendations without being pushy about it. To be honest, I have a full service mechanic who does the heavy lifting and some of my service needs are met there as well. Nevertheless, VIOC Fort Collins provides an essential service I cannot do without. Thanks!

Have I not reviewed this place already? Well, anyway it is fast drive thru oil changes and friendly knowledgeable staff not trying to upsell you everything. I mean, who knows, maybe they are but they dont let on. Often not a line to wait and they work hard here and are honest if it may take a while. Great find!
