Customer care is offshores and have little to no technical expertise. If you have a real need, they pass you around for hours in their phone system. Save your self the frustration and call a local electrician.

Heath, from the College Ave. Fort Collins location did a great job today. He gave me great phone call updates throughout my time window of service of when he was going to be arriving to remedy my Smart TV & how to stream local news questions. He was friendly, professional and genuinely cared about resolving my issue. We really appreciate how he resolved our problem and educated us about the moving target every changing technology. (At the time of his visit, I also happened to be in need of an Allen wrench to adjust a hot water heater valve and he lent me his so I could fix it........ I call this above and beyond ! ) Thank you !!

I was mortified when I fell off of my bike due to an ice patch, thus shattering the entire corner of my screen as well as messing it up to the point of where parts of my screen were rainbow or discolored. I brought it in thinking that (my Iphone 11) would cost around 600 dollars to repair, but it only cost 25 with apple care or 200 without it. Keeping in mind that I am 13 years old, I was able to scedule an appointment due to their friendly customer service. Now my phone is mint condition after less than a day of repairing. Best phone replacement in the world!!!! Thank you geek squad!

The Fort Collins geek squad has a nasty tendency to believe that someone would be willing to pay for multiple diagnostics on a laptop, claiming they could not find the original diagnosis. Or that people would just say okay, upgrade and Ill pay the difference. The laptop is less than 6 months old, why would I put out more money for unnecessary stuff thats probably not getting done or pay for another computer? Worst geek squad system Ive ever encountered.

The Geek Squad at 4040 College Dr in Ft Collins Co is terrible. Their customer service needs a lot of work. My wife and I were told to buy a keyboard for my laptop and come back and they could easily install it for us. I made an appointment and listed exactly what I needed done and when we came to our appointment, all the way from Cheyenne, they said they could not get it done for us that day. They said it would be better to come at the end of the month. Wish they would have called me, I need my computer for work it’s not like I can just leave it there until they are ready. Very disappointing.

About a week and a half ago we dropped my camera off to be sent out and fixed. Last night we received a call about 6pm, rather late if you ask me, informing us our camera was in store and ready to be picked up they then proceeded to have us make an appointment with geek squad. Well our appointment was this morning we got there about five minutes early. Got checked in on time. Waited about 15 minutes for someone from geek squad to help us and when they finally came to help us, with a pick up remember, the man disappeared into the back for what seemed like another ten minutes! When he returned I lit up to sight of my cameras box only to find out the box was empty...We were told it was still being fixed and reminded it takes two to four weeks to be fixed. AS IF we had just decided to drive twenty minutes out of our way to just check and see if it was there. There was no explanation. There was no apology. Just I dont why they set up an appointment with you.So now I have an empty box I guess we didnt even need to bring in. Paitiently waiting for my camera to return.

Took my HP laptop in for help with internet download speed. My internet service that I pay for provides 600mbps download and per Ookla speedtest was only realizing 120 to 170Mbps. Was suggested I have tune up. Paid $149 with the computer there in shop all day. When I got it home, it took 17 minutes to boot up! Ran my own diagnostic and found over 1200 errors/problems needing to be addressed/fix. Ran a fix/clean up myself. After complete, ran speed test again and still had only 133Mbps download speed. Told me I needed to spend another $400 to have the Operating System reloaded and lose my programs. Will never take there again.

I have Geek Squad protection plans on all of my major devices.I had to take in my laptop the other day because of software malfunctioning, but I had only purchased a hardware protection plan, not realizing that there was a difference between that and an antivirus plan. They helped me back up my files and wiped my machine clean again.Great customer service and smart management staff. Five Stars!

I specifically asked them to fix my computer’s crashing problem (can’t open Word or Adobe without the blue screen of death). I come in, they say it’s fine, I get into my car, turn on my computer, open Adobe, and my entire system crashes. Could not be more dissappointed.

I have had a total protection plan through Geek Squad on my Samsung galaxy s7 for almost a year now and didnt have to use it till recently. The phone lost all power so I brought it to Geek Squad to see if there is anything they can do. After 30 minutes of trying to figure out what happened to the device they decided the best thing to do would be to send it in and get me a replacement phone which should take a couple days. Okay great I can deal with a couple days. When the device arrived I took it into Best Buy to and spoke with a Sprint rep to get my phone activated. Here I found out that Geek Squad had sent me a phone for the wrong service! I then had to wait almost an hour while the sprint rep and the geek squad rep had to figure out what to do. They decided that we have to go through the whole process over again. Now I have to wait another couple days for them to send me another phone and still have to send not one but two cell phones back to them. THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS and its all due to Geek Squads negligence. If I have cell phone insurance I expect my phone to be fixed or replaced quickly and without any headaches. Terrible customer experience!!!UPDATE: I got my new device this time for the right carrier. Shortly after getting it hooked up I realised that the screen is malfunctioning in areas and the headphone jack is so broken I cant even get an aux cord in it. Took it to best buy and spoke with a manager this time and all he could do was have me send it back AGAIN. THIS COMPANY BRINGS SO MANY HEADACHES DO NOT USE THEM GET CELL PHONE INSURANCE ELSE WHERE!!!!!!!

Came to Geek Squad to get my laptop fixed, stood at the counter for 10 minutes (making eye contact with about 5 employees over and over. — 3 of which Geek Squad), before walking over to a man and telling him “I have an appointment am I supposed to sign in?” He tells me to sit, and I wait another 5 minutes before somebody comes over and talks to me and ask what the problem is. No comment on the wait (now 15 mins past Appt). Meanwhile I call another store to get a quote. 2 stars is for being $40 cheaper. Still, no apology for waiting past my appointment time and told that I need the most expensive package to help my laptop. I know what the problem is and do not need a yearly $200 package to solve a reset problem. It was obvious that I did not need this extra cost (also I’m in college — lol 200 what? Rocks?) No problem to upsell, I understand the need to make money. But they showed no customer service, only did their service without an apology, and let me leave knowing about this review. I am convinced that they make a solid commission. I love Best Buy but this Geek Squad Precicnt is a sad one.
