Tyrina is an excellent nail tech!! Very detailed and friendly at her trade. Truly providing loving southern hospitality when your in her care. Plus anyone that can do their own nails and yes you all they stay fly. I knew she would be my nail technician. Once you sit in her chair youll see why shes so fly just stop on by....

Beyond disappointed in the quality and service I received today. I went with my sister to get our nails done for my birthday and the owner, Don, was my technician. Throughout the appointment he seemed very rushed and disinterested. when I asked if we could use a matte top coat, he said he “didn’t think that would look good on my nails.” Yet the execution of line work that he seemed so confident about makes me feel like he didn’t even try to make it look good. So not only was the work subpar, but the customer service alone was a determiner for me to take my business elsewhere. My service today was $45. I wouldn’t have paid $20 for something that looks like I did myself with my left hand. My sister’s nails were done well but they weren’t like the photo she showed her tech, not filed how she asked, or the colors she chose. I absolutely love supporting local businesses, as they are the literal backbone to our communities.... but there is no way to support a business that does not value the quality of work it provides, nor the individuals within it’s own community who choose to support them.

What i wanted vs what i got two hands us what I wanted. I was trying not to give the lbs a hard time that is why I just left. Wrong shape and I can paint better than this she charged me extra for color, design and shape I ended up paying 75 and was disappointed when I left. I will not be going here there again. The nail tech really sent me to the sink then when I got back she was gone when she came back she smelled like a pack of cigarettes. I WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN.

They are very nice people but when I went to get my nails, toes and eyebrows done. I sign my name and wait a whole hour until around they was closing.. the lady she rush to do my nails and she did not take her time. when I told her I want my eyebrows done she tell me to come back tomorrow because she was tired. The man who did my toes he polished it but I haven’t notice until I got home he did not polish my pinky toe. I will not be going to them anymore.

These ladies made our Mommy Daughter nail outing very special. The nail technicians were so gentle, very professional and our nails looked top notch! Its going on my 3rd week and they still look great! First time getting our nails done and it was totally worth it!!! Thank you Sugarcoat Nail Salon!

Good atmosphere, my nail tech was nice.The nail polish started chipping off really quickly less than a week after getting it done and the whole nail wasnt painted (like on the sides) on 4 out of 10 nails. I feel like it could have been better no matter how many people you have walking in, take time and get better products.

Best experience Ive ever had getting my nails done. Not only were they super friendly but they were able to give me exactly what I wanted. They were also amazing with my little girls. Will definitely be going back.

Everyone was very friendly and outgoing, and they were accommodating to any needs of my group. When you go make sure you get that pedicure with the saran wrapI:). If I lived closer I would definitely come here more often.

Terrible outcome having my nails dipped at Sugarcoat. 3 days after having them done I had to come back so they could smooth my nails out because it was so uneven and bumpy AND a nail cracked. 10 days later, two nails completely broke with the product completely off of it, one nail is broken at the edge with product off and another with two big portions of the dip came off. Never go there again!

I aske for blue with clouds on the pinky and ombre on the middle finger. My nails are purple and my pinky where there were supposed to be clouds there are blue and brown squiggly lines. Last time I visited sugar coat I had a different person but all the colors were still off. I dont think I will be returning to sugarcoat.

Great experience! Very attentive and polite. I waiting a few days to see how my nails held up before I wrote a review and they’re holding up really well. My eyebrows look fantastic and it wasn’t extremely expensive. May be my new spot

Today was my first time visiting this nail salon. Initially I was skeptical because I normally dont allow anyone to do my nails.When I walked in, the salon was clean, modern, and fun looking... Vibrant! I was greeted by a young lady who was able to point me in the right direction to get a fill in, cut down, and gel polish. I had the pleasure of meeting a gifted young lady by the name of Q. She was pleasant to talk to, professional, and met my expectations. The price for the services rendered were reasonable and worth it. If I decide to switch nail techs, she will be first choice. I will be back for my next fill in and I will probably try some of their other services. The owner was pleasant and she even worked in her own nail salon.

Sugarcoat came highly recommended so I came in and saw Jessica. This is the only salon in Florence and beyond I felt great after leaving. Jessica is a master of her craft and really gave me an amazing experience. My nails have never looked this good!

The people here at Sugar Coats are soooo nice but the nails I got where absolutely terrible. And I’m sorry to say it wasn’t the first time I got a botched nail set

I waited for 3 hours after I came to sign in because they are only taking a few people because of corona. The sign said to leave my name and number and they would text me 15 minutes prior to my turn. I waited 3 hours for them to text me after waiting for such a long time I decided to go to the salon I saw that I was the next customer and then this man came out and took the clipboard and the sign inside and I told him I was the last person on the list. He was extremely rude and said he came and looked outside for me but that I wasn’t there I told him that I was waiting for my text message they said they would send me, he was rude and brush what I said off and just kept saying he came to look for me around 8 which was a lie because I got there around 8. I should’ve just stuck to my nail tech 🤦🏻‍♀️ So unprofessional!!

Ive found my new nail salon! Both times I came to sugarcoat Ive had great service and they got right to me with barely no wait. Jessica was my nail technician today and she was very friendly and AMAZING at her job. I was a customer at another nail salon for over a year now but left because of long waiting times. Sugarcoat will be seeing me every month now, they have earned my business!!!!

I had an excellent nail tech named Kim. The owner, Don was a pompous jerk. I went in on my birthday for a manicure and pedicure, After being placed in a broken massage chair during the pedicure, I was offered a free hot towel and sugar scrub that I never received. My bill was $58 dollars and I was the last client. When it was time to dry my nails my technician left and I accidentally bumped my nail on the drying fans. I told the owner it must be the fans that caused my nail to smear and he became immediately combative. He stated, oh the fans did that huh, so its my fans fault that your nail is messed up? I told him, you know what, dont worry about it. A broken chair, broken customer service, this is not the way to gain new, loyal customers. No wonder they are called Sugarcoat. They are flawed, superficial, and poorly maintained. For a great technician I would recommend this place. But broken equipment and lousy customer service are not on the high list of priorities.

I absolutely love this nail salon. Its the only one I take my daughter to. They have butterfly chairs for the children and are very welcoming to children.

I have been using this nail salon since 2013 and havent ever had any issues. The staff is super nice and I never have a long wait and am very pleased with my nails every time. Its the only nail salon I use.

My husband and I have been looking for a place for a while to get pedicures . I think I have finally found it! So many of the places in town are just rude-the one in the mall last let my husband sit in the oedi chair for 30 minutes then just left- he waited for awhile and then we just went elsewhere. The young man here who did my nails was nive- I think his name was Cameron.

I got my nails done Valentine’s Day and today a week later my nails are off! They popped right off! I’m so disappointed because I’ve seen their work on others which is what prompted me to go but my nails and experience was awful and for the price this is completely unacceptable!

Buyer Beware! Purchased a gift card for my wife last year from here for a massage, manicure and pedicure for $70. When trying to redeem they told her it was not valid and there was $0 balance on the card. When questioned if it expired no one in the salon had an answer. I understand if their GCs expire but let the consumer know and inform your employees! Be cautious!

The acrylic nails are not good quality and they dont last for a long time.Plus the selection of colors and designs is not big.But the lady that did my nails was really nice, and the guy who i suppose is the owner is a little not nice.

Very upset for my first time visit... The OWNER did my nails and it ended up bleeding. Then she tried to wipe it with the brush (which was so nasty and unsanitary! She didnt discounted or gave any apology but charged me full price for everything. Then I put up a review on Facebook and SHE TOLD MY FRIEND TO NOT BRING HER (ME) UP IN HERE AGAIN and that she will delete my review! I feel like I have a freedom of speech and I can write and expressed any review!!!! BUT DONT WORRY I WILL NOT GO BACK TO HER BUSINESS AGAIN!

The man who did my nails, did not do them right they have been coming off in a week, the place did fix three of them which i appreciate but more of the nails he has done have been coming off without me doing any thing rough for them to come off.

I’ve only been once, I got a pedicure. It’s a really nice salon, they did great.

The staff was nice but my nails didnt last 2 days later 2 nails broke went back in to get them fixed they wasnt the same length or shape like my other nails and the same nail popped 3days later

Finally getting around to posting this review. I went in to have my nails done. Checked out Facebook and everything before hand found some designs they had done here. Thought this should be a good visit. I got there and had a design I wanted black tipped and black stars on a silver background on my ring fingers. Jess had done a terrific job with the Black Tip. She wasnt able to do the stars. So she went and got another lady. Who did 5 little stars spaced out like you would find on dice. I wasnt happy with it. She wiped it off, promptly stood up and curtly told me well I guess youre done have a good day and walked off. So, Sitting there a few minutes Jess comes back asked what happened. I told her she apparently could not do stars either but I still wanted some design. So she gets the other lady to come back. I ask her what she can do so I dont ask for something she cant. She huffily tells me to look online and that she was going to start another set of nails with someone. Jess just ended up doin some polka dots for me. What was supposed to be a relaxing afternoon turned into a huge aggravation. Jess was kind but for $60.00 after tip I am happy to take my business elsewhere.

This is literally the most disgusting nail salon I have ever been to. I wanted in to get a pedicure, sat down and put my feet in the bowl and immediately looked around to see gunk on the foot bowl dust and grunge on the chair and all the supplies. I just dont understand. We got up and left.
