This is probably one of the best places to volunteer in Fayetteville. They make it easy to become a new volunteer, and their staff are really chatty and welcoming. You’ll definitely never get bored here even if you do end up just making boxes. Be mindful of the heat, and if you’re packing boxes that you’ll be lifting A LOT. There isn’t central AC in the warehouse, just a select number of fans. Dress accordingly and make the best of it.

Volunteered here in celebration if my daughters birthday. This group does the hard needed work for those who are in so much need.

Here we are again. A few times per month, FFWC Family Fellowship Worship Center, comes to the second Harvest Food Bank location downtown Fayetteville, to pick up senior boxes, and up gather other food for our Shepherds Bread Ministry. We feed nearly 400 hungry familys, that show up at our church every Monday.This month this food Bank packed 1000 senior boxes for the upcoming month. I was told it is a beehive of volunteeers serving our community.

It was good but they gave the meat to the wrong truck

Second Harvest Food Bank have your stuff ready for pick up in five to ten minutes, Thank the work crew there, they are a blessing.

I went there to pick up food for fayetteville urban ministries. The people there had our things ready by the time we arrived. They helped us load up and off we went

They have been an amazing help to the communities of Southeastern North Carolina. From the volunteers to the staff, the work done here is to be commended.

All they gave was greatly appreciated. So much fruit and vegetables are so important to all. I appreciate everything they do

It has really gotten popular this year. The wait in line is long but worth it. Nice people that work there and that go there.

Its very easy to donate hundreds or even tens of pounds of food here. Theyre Helping people daily get out of tough situations. Theyre truly doing the lords work.

Great place. I love their cause. I went there to volunteer with a group of students and it was great. The only thing is that the facility does not he air conditioner so be very for the heat. I you have a chance to work in the cooler do it but make sure you bring a jacket.

A tremendous resource for the region. Serving seven counties, they provide the food for over 250 local food pantries, soup kitchens, and other organizations.

Second Harvest is a business to help people from going hungry. They actually have food that most people likes. And they are excited when you come up that they can help you to get food in your home

Its always good to give back, and this place is an awesome place to give of yourself to help others in need.

The people are amazing. It is a wonderful opportunity to get involved with the community and really get a humbling experience!
