SuseJs is the most pleasant, polite, profanity free business I know of. My 3 sons have gotten their hair cut there for 20 years! The owner and all the stylists are professional, courteous, and very skilled in their profession. Everyone is welcome, all ages, genders, ethnicities and hair types, and everyone leaves happy!

Suse J’s gave me an awesome haircut despite walking in and not having an appointment. I used to go to Sports Clips on Ramsey but they were never consistent. Highly recommended!

I took my 2 sons for haircuts for the first time today. The shop was clean and Ms. Shirley took great care of my boys. The atmospherewas friendly and wholesome. The haircuts were done very well and there were no complaints of discomfort as weve had a different shops.

May be a great environment, but my experience here was awful. My first time coming here this past weekend cause my barber was out of time and lady clearly doesn’t know what a taper fade is more or less a fade at all and can’t keep a steady hand. Ended up shaving my whole head once I got home. Should of never even paid for the poor cut. Not recommended!!!

I was skipped over twice while waiting because 2 regular clients came in on a time crunch, and then was asked to wait 1 more time because the barber and regular client were on a time crunch. These werent appointments, they were walk-ins, as was I. Absolutely disappointing. Does anyone have suggestions for a decent barber on this side of town?

I am in love with this salon and barber shoppe. I have been a patron of Sues Js for more than 10 years. My favorite stylist is Erin Fish. She does an amazing job keeping her clients hair healthy and colored beautifully. I highly recommend this establishment for all your hair care needs.

This was my first, post-COVID haircut. I let my GPS find the closest place that was open (beggars cant be choosers). I am very glad I was close to Sue Js. I got the haircut I sked for from a friendly barber in a clean friendly environment. I took my son there a week later, same results, just great.

Ive been coming here since I was a kid. Its a good environment, family friendly and has quality staff. I drive an hour to come down here because I trust them. Highly recommend them.

I used to go to this barbershop for about 6 months and the prices WERE great! They all do good haircuts BUT they recently drastically raised their prices from $14 a haircut to $20!!! Not just a couple dollars increase. Plus their Christian “rules” they have in the barbershop are very strict. God forbid if u have kids that don’t sit in one spot😐 so I’m my opinion this WAS a decent barbershop. I’ll be going elsewhere.

I first came here about a year ago. A regular hair cut with a neck shave and a hot towel cost 14$ (Active Duty price). The low-cost and high quality made me keep coming back. On the downside, they have no sign in or waiting method except to assume who you’re after. At times that can get a bit awkward. I always get my haircut by Shirley and when the price was 14$ I gave her a 20 and let her keep the rest because she always did a good job. Just recently, they raised the price by 6$ and a normal Active Duty priced haircut now costs 20$. While cutting my hair, in front of other customers, she talked loudly about how the price was fair for their services, quality, etc. She went on to complain about 14$ not being fair and the staff getting the short end of the stick. The price was raised suddenly and not steadily over a period of time. Considering their size, availability of barbers, lack of organization for waiting, and the amount of wait time; they have lost one of the few qualities that makes them unique amongst the hundreds of barber shops in Fayetteville. The low-cost for a good quality haircut.

I have been to Suse Js about 6 times now and each time I was greeted with a smile! Ive recieved cuts from three of the employees there and all three cuts have been exactly what I wanted. There is a discount for service members as well! Amazing establishment ran by amazing people! You will not regret a visit here!

Great service...A+++. Very clean. They honestly pursue perfection with every cut. Very professional atmosphere. No profanity ever .I been going for 5+ years. I do have my preferred barber but I would let any of them cut my hair. They even gave my boy his 1st cut.

If you go...only go for Chris he is an excellent barber. I tried the other lady working there today because of the long line waiting for Chris and I’ve never received a worse haircut. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and not only was my hair not how I wanted but what is left of it is poorly cut. Will not be returning.

I went there on Friday October 26 and got a mid fade. I told the lady that symmetry is very important to me and that often Barbers do not focus on that and even still she didnt do as I asked. I was press for time so I decided to not even complain and to just leave after I paid. I am very unhappy with my haircut and dont see myself coming again

Suse-Js is hands down the best barbershop in Fayetteville. Shirley, Chris and Ron are all excellent barbers, capable of cutting any style, at a ridiculously low price. The shop is clean, welcoming and well decorated, with a friendly, comfortable vibe. I once went to the sport clips down the street because they were giving away free haircuts. They mangled my hair, so I went to see Chris and he fixed it in a matter of minutes. If you need a cut, just do yourself a favor and get it here. There simply isnt a better shop in town.

Great cuts

Im basing my review on 3 main points:1 - The environment in the shop is very warm and welcoming.2 - My high fade was done correctly and in a timely manner.3 - They have Netflix and Amazon Prime.

Best spot in town. Hidden gem. Dont try to be in and out quick on a Sunday, but the haircuts are worth every penny. Tip them well, they treat you well and never leave you disappointed

This is my wifes account. I always go to Chris and have never been disappointed. He is worth the wait. After bad haircuts from other places I found SuseJ and i have never looked back.

Not a family (kid) friendly shop. Expects toddlers to stay seated in a chair while there are 2 people currently being cut and 6 people ahead of us. Child was simply standing in front of me, not climbing, not being obnoxious nothing just standing/walking in circles in front of me. And as “Chris” states their rules are strict the only rule I saw was parents must watch their kids at all times which was being done. A child standing being quiet is better than a sitting, screaming child looking disobedient. I would not recommend this place to anyone who has kids that can’t sit for long periods of time. Very judgemental workers who do not like children!

My barber is here. Hes always on time and makes sure Im happy with the cut. Im pretty sure all the barbers could probably do just as good of a job.

This is the only place that I go to, to cut my hair. They always do an amazing job.

I am suprised none of my fellow soldiers have reviewed this place yet: you want to go here for your zero-defect haircuts. Whenever I in-process a new post I find a barber that can cut my cowlick so I dont look like Dennis the Menace and I am glad I found these guys. Theyre located 15 minutes east of the Honeycutt gate, just north of the Walmart on Ramsey. $10 + tip for milltary; done right every time.
