I like Johnathan, I will keep his name on my refrigerator when the time comes for additional services. He showed up on time, introduced himself and went over with me the repairs he suggested and those that I approved. Every time he moved from one location to the next Johnathan showed me the equipment he was going to use and when completed showed me the final product. Very professional, and sharp. Val Sanchez from Blantons Air, Plumbing & Electric was outstanding! When we got a reminder, we called Blantons about scheduling our annual plumbing check & refresh. They were able to get a tech out to our residence the very next morning! Val arrived and asked if we were experiencing any issues before he got started with the check. I informed him that our guest bathroom toilet had a seal that needed repaired. He set about conducting his checks on all the plumbing and then provided a detailed assessment of suggested repairs. He had to run back to the shop to pick up some parts and a water heater, but was back within less than 90 minutes. In a few short hours, he had repaired the toilet, installed a new redirect on the guest bathroom shower, and removed and replaced our 15 year old water heater. After we saw the shape the old water heater was in (the bottom was rusted to the point where it almost fell out when he removed it), we were glad he suggested the replacement. Now we have a new 50 gallon water heater with a no hassle 10 year warranty. I also appreciate that Blantons supports the local community and hires veterans like Val. We got to talking while he was making some of the repairs and turns out we chewed some of the same ground back in our uniformed days. Overall, Blantons has always delivered outstanding service with professional techs that do quality work.

Dustin did our repair work. He was kind, courteous, and professional while working with myself and my in-laws. He provided multiple quotes for our repairs and answered all our questions. He arrived on time and finished the work on time. If we need more plumbing work done, we will definitely check to see if Dustin is available.

We were at our wits end fighting with our home warranty program to just get a service to even come and help us! We had been out of AC since early June into mid July and the whole family(including pets) was getting sick from the heat in the house! Finally, the home warranty people said that they couldn’t find anyone to help us and we would have to get someone and pay out of pocket. I called Blanton’s and they sent someone out same day! He was honest, respectful, professional and super nice, he said that it was abad system and said he could send a Comfort Air specialist out.The next day Kyle Snyder came to our home and talked with us about a new system. He was so knowledgeable, respectful, honest and friendly! We decided on a new AC unit and they were able to schedule an install the next day! The next day Thomas Jackson and Daniel Braun came to install our new unit. They worked so diligently from 8:30- 6:30 to install a new unit that is amazing! They were knowledgeable, helpful and wanted to make sure we knew how everything worked before they left! We wanted them all to know how much we appreciated them and the wonderful work they did! From the excellent customer service on the phone to every single person who came to our house to the after care we’ve received, Blanton’s was and is an amazing and wonderful company! We have told friends, family and neighbors that if they are looking for an AC company that will help, Blanton’s is the best! My husband is a disabled veteran and they were so respectful and wanted to help him to be comfortable, I can never say thank you enough for all the work and effort that this team did for us. We had a great experience with you all. We had Mr Blake and Mike out yesterday to install our 22 kw whole home generator. From the very beginning we have used you guys and y’all did a great job on our generac yesterday. Very efficient and I couldn’t be more pleased with the look of of everything Blake and mike knocked it out the park treat those guys as good as you can because not many people can work like they did yesterday anymore. Also shout out to Will in your office he was very helpful over the phone getting me all set up for the install and answered a bunch of questions we had.

Andrew M. and Samson R. came out on time and knocked out the entire HVAC system in the time I was told. Before they started working on anything they walked me through everything they would be doing. They were clean (they laid out blankets from the front door to the unit) and went right to work. They kept me updated on any snags they hit and not just to tell me there was a problem, but how they were going to fix it. Really appreciate the work they did. My home feels much cooler and is more quieter than with the old unit.

Blake White came out to take care of some issues in our electrical system that we had. When he arrived he was very professional, we told him a little bit about our issues and he went ahead and looked through our system to ensure no further issues, he gave very good repair quotes and gave fair pricing he got the work done and it looked great! Super professional guy and I will from now on only want Blake as my electrician. I will be looking to give you all a call in the future. We had Dustin come out to our house to fix a gas leak on our water heater, and replace a bib out front for our hose. He was incredibly professional and communicated with me throughout the repair process and he took extra care in repairing our stuff. And for the work that was done, we got a great deal on it. I would definitely recommend him to anyone seeking plumbing repairs.

BEWARE: Contacted Blantons to replace a garbage disposal and asked for a quote over the phone. They let me know they have a $99 trip fee but could not give a quote over the phone. I asked if they had a price range and they said no. So the tech arrives when my husband and I are at work, my mother in law lets them in. They let my husband know they need to replace the garbage disposal and price is $761. Trip fee is $99, garbage disposals range from $100-$150. So you mean to tell me it’s going to cost $500 in labor for a job that took less than an hour? My husband calls 5x to let them know not to proceed, as this is too costly. The tech does not answer and proceeds to work. My husband breaks down the charges of $99 and $150 and asks why the labor is so much, he is told they are not charging in hourly rate but a flat fee for the work. If that’s the case, why not give a price range over the phone so the consumer can shop around without being stuck with a trip fee? After all this back and forth, they offer my husband a military discount of $50. Please beware as $761 can be a mortgage payment. The company ridiculously overcharged and know exactly what they are doing when they get started on work without prior approval.

Brandon and Kyle were my reps. Brandon came to view the air conditioner units and Kyle explained more into details with my hubby (overseas) on the phone how he could assist us. We have 2 units and had just had one of our units put in August 2020 and now it no longer worked and it is stankingly hot in the house. We tried to contact the ones who fixed it but they no longer are in business. The were wrong in how they did us because they gave us an old unit and kept all of the old wiring and did a half-a… job and we thought we were paying for a new unit but it was a rented unit. The other unit was dead as well. We will be getting two new units tomorrow so that we can breath again. I want to say thank you very much for the 2 reps that came and provided me with valuable information and the company comes with a warranty and people to assist with just a phone call away. Thank you Brandon and Kyle.Andrew M, John A, Tyler B and Pedro M were the ones who came AUG 3, 2021 to install the two units and they were very professional and knowledgeable and took time to explain to me the millionth questions I asked about installation and how to use. It started off as a great experience with their smiles and positivity at the front door before starting the projects to the end even though it got hot. I want to say thank you to all.

Update: If you do not like to see anything other than a 5 star rating then as per our conversation about someone contacting me to fix the issue may raise the stars if it is done in a timely manner as you mentioned I would be called, which I have not.When I made the appointment to get my panel upgraded I asked Ty when he was available. Ty is 5 star and I imagine Ty is not capable of being anything less than 5 star. I was disappointed to find out the day before that Ty would not be doing the work and kind of felt a bait and switch situation but trusted Ty. Ty told me that Matt would be coming by to do the work but it ended up being Rod. Rod was friendly enough, came in and got set up. I am a big believer in people following the golden rule and being respectful in life, especially when entering a private residence. Rod came in, put on his headphones, started singing loudly during his working on the panel. Rod didnt take a moment to gauge the vibe of the house of what was appropriate or what was overstepping. Despite reptile cages within eye shot that were too big to be moved or dogs that were being calmed down, or a roommate who was working late night shift, he thought he could come in and take over the house by singing loudly. He received a telephone call during the time he was working and he was essentially screaming on the phone and laughing like a hyena. VERY disrespectful. I ended up having to have a talk with him which I dont think I should have had to do as he is an adult working for a company which I hope has principles of respecting their clients. He talked of having his own demons and I wish he would have left those at home as it is not my responsibility to have anything done but the work I paid a lot of money for. Ty assured me that Matt was the same as his work ethic but then I got Rob and that went out the door. He put the panel in and the panel looks like it works great but cut a larger hole than the panel he put in, despite the old panel being smaller and sealed it up in a chop shop sort of way that looks very unprofessional and tried to sell it that this is the way it goes sometimes. UNACCEPTABLE!! IF you dont know how to do a professional job and wash your hands so that my walls are not black with fingerprints then that is on you!! The house I owned before this I had the panel replaced and it was seamless, this was far from that, a rubber caulking that I cant sand down to even out with drywall mud to make this look haflway normal. The best I can do with this chop shop patch work is but a piece of artwork over it. If you charge over inflated price you better make sure your work is impeccilbe! This was like hiring an unlicensed person who threw the panel on and patched it up in the most ugly way possible and then telling me that this is the way the work it goes. Good luck with that but no!! I did not pay 2400 dollars for a panel upgrade to be left with this!!!

The young lady who made our appointment was charming and authentically friendly. Even though our situation was not an emergency, we were offered a next day appointment, so there was practically no waiting. Our technician, Conor, was competent, personable, and completely professional. Now we know why the Blanton trucks are in our neighborhood so often; their service is so excellent, that they will always be called back.I cant say whether their pricing is competitive or not because this is the first time weve had to call a plumber. We would be glad to pay a little more for this high level of service.

Service was prompt and the tech Jawan was knowledgeable. He worked fast to get the type of water heater we wanted and had it installed the next day. He even updated a valve and piping. He also took old heater away and left no mess.

Dan and Val were extremely professional. They were very thorough, they inspected everything I requested (even if some of my requests may have been unnecessary), they were patient with my countless questions and clearly explained everything, they made sure i was satisfied with their answers and followed up when i still had further questions, they were ready and willing to look into other problems I thought I may have had unrelated to my original call, and they gave me complete estimates of everything at all different price points. I requested service of my ac. They scheduled the repair for just a few hours later. Jon called 20 minutes prior to arrival. It only took 15 -20 minutes to find the problem and an additional 15 minutes to make repairs. Jon was very professional and personable. He was genuinely concerned that I was thoroughly satisfied with the repair. Blantons is the best company for ac and plumbing needs. I havent had the need for their electrical work yet.

Your technician Blake came out to access my outside outlets were out he found the issue very quickly. He gave me some choices on the repair and allowed me to pick out of the variety. Once I selected he got them repaired back on and running correctly in a timely manner. Very professional it’s hard to find service that is so good I found it very interesting they shoot you a text with a picture of your technician with a bio so it was like I knew Blake before he even got here super cool. Dustin arrived on time, made a careful study of the problems and gave me a quick estimate. He then did a very professional job of fixing the problem, describing as he went any changes or problems. The tech was very friendly, and did a great job. I have problems with your prices, though. Labor went up, Im sure, but not that high. I can do math. The unit was about 110 to 120. When I saw 650 for a 1/2 hp garbage disposal, I asked what the labor cost was. Flat fee, I was told. Then I see 215 to replace flow valve on outside faucet. What?!? Thats a 7 dollar part on Amazon. Shame on me for not reading the 1 star reviews. I let them do the disposal because i was already out some money, but you really cannot justify 650 for a garbage disposal replacement.And when people edit and resubmit positive reviews, so that the newest one is positive, it only works when you remove the date in the text.

It was 95 degrees outside and our ac unit stopped working! I called Blanton’s and 10 minutes later a technician texted me that he was on his way. Within a couple hours, the technicians replaced the thermostat and fixed our ac. The technicians were incredibly professional and a wealth of knowledge! And because we have their service plan, we were not hit with a HUGE repair bill.

Technician did a detailed inspection and checks on my HVAC system. Checked the duct work in crawl space. took pictures of possible issues. Technician was knowledgeable and professional. I signed up for to use Blanton for scheduled maintenance. I had a another company doing summer winter maint, but they didnt offer the maintenance inspection Blanton did.

First off they were to come out yesterday....Never Showed....I had them come out to my home today..( arrived at 1 20 pm was told they would be here 8 30 - 9 am) to give me a price to change out 6 light fixtures, they walked around the home and then came back with a price of over $ 3,400.00 WHAT A JOKE......The lead tech told me it would take him about 3 hours....2 guys....so $ 1,133.00 per hour....I already had new light put together.....I would never recommend them for anything....that sound so nice on the phone.....then they have the nerve to ask for for a 99.00 service fee....i gave him 100.00 and asked him the leave.

Jonathan was excellent!! Beyond excellent!!! My AC stopped working and bright and early the next day Jonathan was there right on time to repair it and to see about my comfort. He explained everything in detail. Assured me that he would get my AC working again and he did. Many accolades to Jonathan!!

Had a free heating/air replacement system consultation with Kyle today. He was professional, knowledgeable, and very compassionate about his product. Also extreme loyalty for his family based company. I am not an easy sell, nor do l trust easily but if the product is as great as a pitch l will be very impressed. I will also be very pleased as l have decided to use Blantons versus the competition for various reasons. Great job Kyle, you are an outstanding representation of Blantons.

I have used Blantons over the years on several occasions. Some of their people did a good job, others not so much. The good thing is that if they do a poor job, you can negotiate with them and they will fix it. The bad thing is that they started charging completely insane fees recently. These fees are at least double if not more of what you can find if you shop around. I therefore stopped using Blantons and do not intend to ever come back.

Never imagined I would be paying $700+ for a garbage disposal replacement. I agreed to the cost of the dispatch which made sense and I definitely understand the cost of labor if it was hourly but they were here less than an hour so for sure will not be using this company again. Trust me you would benefit from waiting for another Company or person to view your plumbing issues. The plumbers were trying to upsell me on replacing my toilets just because there’s a possibility of it having issues, not that they actually had any. “40% parts, 40% overhead and 10% hopefully to make a profit because it takes a lot to pay for this business to include the people managing the office” was the explanation for why it cost $300-400 over the national average to replace a simple garbage disposal. The only positive I would say is they came same day I asked but now I see why.

I call 3 different companies and none of them were as accommodating, professional, knowledgeable, and as friendly as Blanton’s…Their maintenance Packages, pricing, and financing options made the work I need done reasonable, without killing my pockets. AlsoMatt is an amazing technician who really knows his craft, as well as how to engage professionally with customers.

Blanton’s was prompt. The technician, Kyree called me 30 minutes prior letting me know he was on the way. After explaining what was going on with the unit he was thorough in his work. It turned out to be an issue with the HVAC drain pipe. Which clearly the other service company used previously missed. He wore a mask and had shoe covers on whenever he came back into the house. I highly recommend this company for your service needs. The service was excellent and the professionalism was a breath of fresh air.

Very unprofessional service, seems like the technician was more engaged in selling the company’s maintenance packages than actually providing solutions and conducting preventive maintenance and servicing the AC units and HVAC systems as requested over the phone. Wyatt B. and associate did a fantastic job. They came to our house for a leak and an estimate to move our water heater. They handled a bunch of questions and did additional work at a very reasonable price. In addition to our leak, they replaced a PRV that was broken (100 PSI out!) and our Water Hammer Arrestor (we started having that hammer sound in the walls!). What makes this fantastic, is that they have all these parts on their truck and more! Both spoke to us in a very professional and friendly manner during our discussions. They are the best above the rest!

Proposal was three times the cost of the other two quotes I received. Neighbor cautioned me, he’s been with Blanton’s for 15 years but when getting other quotes they were 2-300% more expensive. Call Cape Fear or Bell Cow. Same quality of service for 1/3 the price. Blanton’s quote must have reflected an up charge to pay for that brand new facility. I will pay more for quality, but you can’t convince me you’re quality is 300% better than your competition.

The technician was on time, very knowledgeable and extremely customer focused. He educated me while doing the inspection and as a result, I an not confident in the state of the plumbing in my home and my options for needed and desired repairs. I definitely plan to do business with Blanton.

This place had the audacity to charge me over $240 for less than a 5 minute fix, so if you want to be overcharged by $140 for your problem too be my guest. Then you too can experience this pleasure! Never again for me!!! The receptionist asked me how can we make you smile today? How about not ripping off your customers by overcharging $140 ! That would be a great start!!!! Another plumber I asked who surveyed another problem after this company overcharged me, said he would have charged me $96 plus tax so $100, a much more reasonable price, dont you think? Plus, the plumber who quoted me $100 shook his head in disbelief and said thats just plain wrong. I agree...Therefore, Blantons overcharged me a good $140 bucks. Congrats... You wont ever see me calling your office AGAIN!!!!

Kyle Benito was the technician dispatched to my house when I was having issues with my Hot Water Heater. He quickly resolved my issue and gave me tips to look out for in the future. He was very professional, knowledgeable about the equipment, and efficient with his work. The Blanton’s team did a great job from receiving my call until Kyle was finished with the repair.

John and Tyler were outstanding installation technicians. They answered all my questions. They were very professional and did an outstanding job.

He was very professional but did not complete the job on the first visit. I had to get him out here three times to complete the job. He left the water in the hole with a slow leak and didnt put a good connector on to stop the leak. On the last try he drained the water and put a better line down and I felt like that should of been done on the first try.

Called Blanton’s to have a gas line installed for a new stove. I may have paid a few dollars more than their competitors charge, but they were here on time, professional, and they stand behind their work. With Blanton’s, I always get the quality service with quality work.

Ty was punctual, fast, informative and most importantly he fixed our main problem plus a couple others. Im very pleased with the service and I would absolutely use him again.

Chris did an excellent job diagnosing my irrigation backfkow system problem. He was able to move my backflow to the side of my house which provided a cleaner look. He’s also very punctual and kept me informed along the entire way. The work was done in one short day which exceeded my expectations.

Gil handles all aspects of dealing with customers in a professional and honest manner. When it comes time to service our unit we will definitely request that Gil is the technician sent.

The whole experience was excellent from start to finish. Our AC went out last night & I completed a request online. They called me first thing in the morning & had a technician here before 11am. The technician showed up on time & identified the issue within 20-30 minutes. He had our unit fixed & running in no time. There was just some little motor that had to be replaced. I’m honestly surprised at the service & happy to have cold air in this sweltering NC heat.

ChrisH was friendly, prompt and efficient. I highly appreciate his thorough application of the job. Had to replace a water heater, bathtub faucet, and toilet flapper. There were so many plumbing companies to choose from, I am glad I chose Blanton’s. Although I hope not to have to call back soon, I am certainly keeping their card handy.

The plumber inspected the areas that could have caused the water 💧 leak and we decided that the leak was caused by condensation in the ceiling. I agreed with him and he told me to keep a watch on it. The service and appointment desk is always friendly and helpful every time I have had to call. Response times to being onsite are consistently acceptable. Matthew Popp is a consummate HVAC professional. He explains issues discovered and the corrective actions needed to be performed in a logical, easy to understand way. He was friendly and very respectful of our home.

For starters, how about an appointment window of 8-12 oclock that arrived at promptly at 8. Great start. Travis was truly an outstanding service person and company rep. We were explained each step in the process of replacing 4 faucets and options available. He was neat, professional and extremely competent. Thanks for a great experience! Had Blanton’s come out to do a quote. They charged me $100 just to show up. They was here maybe 45 minutes. Their estimate was way overpriced for a simple installation and repair. Probably twice what it should be. I will never call them again.

Clif B. did the assessment and repair. He was punctual, thorough and extremely professional. The pricing was a bit steep, but with the work that was put in, and the damage that had accrued over time I honestly cannot even complain. If I ever need a repair or assistance again in regards to my HVAC or water heater, Blantons is who Ill call, and hopefully the same technician will be available!!!

I paid the coming out fee but did not use because it was too expensive. He wanted to charge me$648 including the diagnostic fee for a job that the hard work was already done. I have since gotten the job done for $144 including the part. Price of a service call plus part.

We had Blake White and his crew of guys I didn’t get the chance to catch the names of the others but they came and finished up our generator install and it looks great. They did an amazing job showing out for your company. Thanks again we will tell everyone we know to call Blantons!

I had wyatt came out and unclog my drain. He was very professional and friendly. He toke time to Show me and explain what he is doing and why. He stay until after 09:00pm at night to get my drain unclog. If you need a plumber from this company ask for Wyatt he gets the Job done and leave until it is done.

This was a scheduled service as part of my maintenance program that I have set up with Blantons. Larry has been out to my place a couple of times and always does a great job. He never tries to pressure you into anything, is always courteous and covers all the bases when it comes to checking out your system. When he says its in good shape, I know it is. And he keeps me abreast of those things to keep an eye on in the future.

Matt replaced and serviced 11 Ceiling lights where some were defective. The new lights were installed professionally, and worked great after the insallation was complete. Matt was very helpful with information and how to care for the lights or if any problems happen.

I bought a ceiling fan for $145.I installed it myself- even connecting the ground wires. Blanton’s charged me almost three times what I paid for the fan/light to connect two wires.I feel fleeced - good thing it’s summertime.Never using Blanton’s again for anything.
