Had a fantastic experience for a extraction. You can fill paperwork via email before your visit saving time in the waiting room. Once in your room they provide the best distraction Ive seen in practice via TV mounted to the ceiling and the wall. My local was applied sparingly before the procedure and towards the end so that soreness was not a issue while waiting for prescriptions to be filled lasting me 2 hours after my visit. Very competitive price. No judgment from the staff as a person needing alot of work done it was a nice professional interaction.

The experience at Show Me Dental alleviated all worries and stressors I had about the present and any future dental appointment.They were non judgmental, kind, patient and provided me with a detailed list of what I needed, what insurance would cover and what my out of pocket expense would be.The back of the house staff was amazing!!I say back of the house because everyone I felt with after the receptionist was beyond exceptional.I say everyone but the receptionist, because the young lady (blond, front of the desk) is not very welcoming, she comes across rude and gives the impression she is either put out doing her job or super judgmental, I can’t tell which. In addition, she feels the need to refer to customers as ‘hun’ which might not bother most people and maybe it’s a southern thing, however, It is off putting to me.I am a grown woman, with a college degree who does not appreciate being called hun, honey, sweetie or anything other than my name.I did mention this to her, in a polite manner, which wasn’t received well by her. I also mentioned it to my technician when In the dental chair. I just now called and she called me hun again.I do understand that maybe she does not know that I’m the same person, however, she should refrain from calling anyone ‘hun, honey or sweetie’ that is a patron of show me dental. It is a misogynistic term that is degrading on many levels, especially when it’s directed to a middle age women by a 20 something young girl.I’m hopeful that management will have a conversation with her snd strongly encourage her from using the ‘pet names’ from her vocabulary.It is only because the rest of the staff is over the top amazing that I return to Show me Dental for my dental care.In addition the facility is cleaner than any dentist office I’ve ever been in and my doctor was the kindest, most understanding and helpful dentist I’ve ever encountered.I will continue to recommend and be a patron of Show Me Dental.

I believe this is my second review ever but felt it was needed so active duty military do not have the same customer service here in the future. Some at the front desk (I believe her name was Lindsey but could be wrong due to her unprofessional attitude) need to get trained on how active duty military insurance works.So this review has nothing to do with the dentist, my last visit in 2018 went extremely well. It went so well that I made the decision to start scheduling appointments here for my wife & two daughters when covid slowed down. Well well take our 1 oral surgery, braces and 2 cleanings needed currently elsewhere.

Visited two other dentists before driving an hour to visit Dr. Urling and his staff in Farmington. Dr. Urling was the only dentist to take an extra few minutes to discuss my desires and options for a potential root canal.His rates are very reasonable, staff very professional and kind, and I appreciate Dr. Urling’s willingness to work up a plan with me for my tooth health.I will be making Dr. Urling my dentist for all exams, cleanings, and teeth procedures moving forward.Thanks Show Me Dental for the very pleasant dental visit. I look forward to my next visit!Update 11/2020: Dr. Urling successfully completed a tooth extraction and implant procedure to replace a decaying tooth. Almost no pain, very reasonably priced for the operation, and was able to get me in the same day as my exam to complete the one-hour procedure. Continue to be very impressed!

Things started out well with Show Me Dental. I went in for a consultation for an extraction and implant. I was seen in a timely manner, quoted a much more reasonable price than my regular dentist (with insurance), and scheduled for the procedure. I had had the procedure done before on a different tooth and knew what to expect. I asked about the risk of dry socket since that happened before. I was assured this was not a concern. As soon as the anesthetic wore off, the throbbing started. I returned the day after the procedure for a routine recheck and was told everything looked perfect and they had no idea why i was in so much pain. The nurse/assistant was rude and dismissive about the amount of pain I told her I was having, but the doctor prescribed more pain pills.Four days after the initial procedure I went in again because the throbbing pain would still not stop. Dr Urling took off the covering and lo and behold, there was the dry socket thats been causing so much pain. He just kept repeating, Ive never seen this happen. Im baffled. He then gave me a gel to put on the exposed nerve and sent me on my way to deal with the pain with no remedy. I was told theres nothing more he can do about it, but I should expect 8-10 more days of suffering. I explained that Ive had dry socket before and have received other treatments that were helpful, like a numbing topical. They offered 5 more pain pills and said thats the best they could do and the doctor would be gone for a four day weekend.Now Im understanding why the treatment here is so much cheaper than other places. Maybe this is a great dentist if things go according to plan, but they are clearly not if things go wrong. I didnt want more pain pills. I wanted a different treatment that might offer some relief, but I was dismissed and treated like a drug-seeker for trying to get relief from the procedure gone wrong. Im very disappointed, not to mention in a lot of pain. I guess Ill be seeking out a different dentist to help patch up what this one started.

Where do I begin..Most people dont enjoy going to the dentist, but this office is TOP NOTCH! I never leave reviews but when looking for a dentist you want the BEST. And this IS! Dr. Urling is PHENOMENAL! Friendly, caring, professional, clean atmosphere with state of the art technology. Went in for a root canal scared out of mind and he put me at ease. Seriously folks this isnt a fake review, ( you know how we wonder that sometimes) its definitely mine! The comradery is like nothing I have ever seen. So if you are looking? Dont look any further you wont be disappointed I promise you!!

Bada Bing -Bada Boom!! I broke a tooth last month and urgently needed a new porcelain crown. Show Me Dental quickly worked me into their schedule. You may know that, most crowns can take two office visits with a week of in between lag time for crown prep. That day my tooth was first prepped and shaped, the void dimensions precisely measured using 3D digital imagery - and then amazingly- the computerized model was transferred and shaped from a small porcelain cube, using a 3D printer lathe, and then cast in an 2000 degree oven -in their lab! I was lucky to to watch the entire process. So in summary, from start to finish, I was numbed and glued in less than 3 HOURS and in only ONE office visit . Great Technology! Great Job! Great Staff! They Showed Me!

Hubby had a broken tooth and was in a lot of pain. Went to Aspen Dental yesterday. Not only did it take all day to deal with them but.still came home without them doing ANYTHING except pushing a $2500.00 care plan. Called. Show me Dental is a modern dental office with the latest equipment, including a 3D x-ray machine. No more painful films stuck next to your multiple times for x-rays. You stand still and the machine circles your head for the tooth images. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Erling is outstanding. I need a bone graft, dental dam, and implant for a back tooth. My regular dentist recommended Dr. Erling.. Dr. Erling took the time to explain the procedure and answer my questions. He is gentle, yet effective in his work. My case is difficult as I have a gum membrane which is super thin. Dr. Erling talked to me about my different options. Fortunate for me, before my next visit (yesterday), Dr. Erling took training on the newest approach for dental dams. He keeps up with the latest dental techniques. He sought out an easier, less invasive technique for cases like mine. More to come....next procedure in a few weeks. PS his prices are very reasonable!!.
