As a student who is out of state most of the year, it has been hard to get appointments scheduled regularly for cleaning. This year, my insurance plan changed and had to switch providers. From the first phone call, I could tell this place has employees who genuinely care for their patients. I explained that I needed to get seen by the end of July before I leave for school. Due to covid-19, they were booked until late August! I asked if they could call me in case someone cancels, and to my surprise I was able to get in just 3 days later. My hygienist, Brittany, was extremely kind and genuine. I ended up needing a deeper clean than a regular 6 month appointment. She explained the process very clearly and we were able to do it that same day. She took approximately 1.5 hours to clean my teeth, and was very thorough with her work. Dr. Palmer was pleasant to talk to. Overall, it was a great experience and Ill continue to go there for future appointments!

I hate to be that guy. But I must share my current experience.Both my wife and I are newer patients we immediately felt comfortable with the staff. 3 to 4 visits a piece without any major problems ( had to go back a couple times to have fillings re shaped due to painful bite) I guess thats not common but not the end of the world. We moved 30+ miles away from Farmington but kept this as our dentist because we liked the staff .My wife had a couple major issues we were working on with her teeth. Long story short she needed a couple crowns. We were presented what our insurance would cover and built a plan around that. Everything was covered with a minimum co pay minus 2 crowns. So we went ahead and did everything minus thouse 2 crowns as once the new year started we would be able to have them cover in that next insurance year.October we get a call from the receptionist stating that wow our insurance year actually starts in october . Great news! We can get the last 2 crowns done covered by insurance . Procedure was scheduled and performed.Fast forward to today my wife goes in for her routine cleaning to find out we have an active bill of over $1600 . And the receptionist told her yea we apologize the insurance didnt cover your last 2 crowns absolutely shocked by this she refused to pay and came home to tell me the news.Here is were it gets bad. We contact her insurance who confirmed that yes her insurance reset in october and it should be covered. After some calls I find out the insurance company refused the claim because the procedure was NEVER NEEDED IN THE FIRST PLACE!!We were absolutely lied to by the dentistWe were lied to by the receptionist ( I like to believe she just didnt know what she was doing)The board of dentistry has been notified as there is an active investigation.Hopefully this is a one off incident but my wife and I felt we were betrayed lied to and essentially robbed! Initially I had a bit of anxiety about going to my first dentist appointment in years, but I was quickly reassured upon arriving. The staff is superb to say the least. Professional, personable, and very welcoming. My cleaning uncovered some issues; I appreciated not being scolded, but instead being educated and supported. I was able to schedule this other dental work in a very timely manner; making it as quick and painless as possible (pun-intended). Overall, Ive had a wonderful experience, and would highly recommend!

Always a happy group of people. Dr. Palmer is excellent, as are all the staff. Sara is the receptionist, and is a very patient person. Ive had several technicians/hygienists and am impressed by all of them. This is a group of dedicated professionals that make sure your dental experience is always way above average.

I was having a lot of issues. My teeth were in pretty bad shape, to the point of I really wouldnt smile anymore. I hated having my picture taken, or I would make a funny face instead of smiling for the camera. I really hated laughing. I would always cover my mouth. And so I had decided that enough was enough and decided to get something done. I looked into the Clear Choice option but that was priced way out of my league at about $50,000.00. I then checked out Aspen Dental and Midwest Dental. Aspen Dental was pretty comparable in price, but when I went to Midwest Dental in Farmington I didnt so much think about the price because the atmosphere of the whole office was so earthy and had the real hometown feel. And I had even met the Dentist, Dr. Palmer, on my first visit and thats what won me over. She was so warm and friendly, and made me feel so relaxed to discuss my situation that I felt like she was a sister instead of a doctor. I am so glad I picked Midwest Dental. The entire staff are very funny and welcoming. They really made me feel important and comfortable. I would highly recommend this team of dental professionals to anyone that was looking for dental care. Now, I love taking pictures, laughing and being out in front of people. My self esteem has been restored and I get a lot of compliments on how pretty my teeth are. Its truly an amazing feeling and I owe it all to Dr. Palmer and her team.

As a college student, whenever I’m in town, it usually isn’t for more than a few days at most. Midwest Dental Farmington always accommodates me exceptionally well. Most recently, within two days I had my checkup and teeth cleaning, a cavity filled, and molds taken for a mouth guard. The staff is very professional and knowledgeable, and the atmosphere is familiar and friendly. The amount of consideration I’ve seen the staff give to make young children feel comfortable is exemplary. If you’re looking for a family-oriented practice, with attention to detail, ambiance, and expertise, Midwest Dental Farmington is the place to go!

Dr. Palmer and her staff are friendly as well as professional. My experience has been one of the best experiences in my life. They were able to notify me of a problem I did not know existed and promptly referred me to Advanced Oral Surgery. Highly recommended 🤓

The staff is amazing! Sara is friendly and knowledgeable and always knows what I should pay and what insurance should pay. Kelly is very thorough and always is so accommodating with my quirks (my mouth doesnt open up very wide) and Dana and Dr. Palmer are great. When I first starting going to Midwest Dental, I hadnt been to the dentist for a very long time. I had some major dental/gum issues going on, after a very disciplined and comprehensive plan, things have been improving and at least stable. I would highly recommend!

After receiving multiple conflicting dental opinions I came to this office and received excellent services. She thoroughly explained all my options and helped me decide on the best option for my situation. The entire staff is very supportive and makes the experience enjoyable. Services provided are always the best in current technology and I always felt the charges were reasonable. She is my new favorite dentist. Plus theres a really great coffee shop next door!

I had 2 teeth worked on and now I am doing the teeth whitening. Everyone is very pleasant and helpful. Any questions are answered very thoroughly. I would recommend Midwest Dental to anyone.Ive now been back and have had work done. Again, 5 stars for everyone at this office!!

Just switched my family to this practice after belonging to an overbooked practice. Got all 3 of my children in within a week of calling all at the same time. Everyone was super friendly and helpful and great with my young kids. Appts started on time and we were in and out in no time! Great first experience :-)

Our last dental office shamed us for having any dental issues and really made you feel bad about yourself and my children dreaded going there. We started going to see Dr. Palmer and immediately we were comfortable. She was very compassionate and so reassuring that my children actually look forward to going to see her. Had to take my boyfriend in for an emergency tooth pull and every person we spoke with was very helpful and supportive and all around pleasant. Unfortunately they didnt take his insurance but paying out of pocket wasnt bad. We will definitely be returning on a regular basis.

The staff working in this office are beyond wonderful. I, like many people, have some anxiety about going to the dentist. The staff here does a great job to make you feel comfortable and listen to your concerns. The dental hygienists are great at what they do and made me feel less anxious while sitting in the chair. The free electric toothbrush I received after my first cleaning has really helped my teeth and gums overall. They have never felt better.

Just had my first appointment for a cleaning and I am really happy with this place. This is going to sound dumb but it felt like home. Everyone was welcoming and friendly and it felt like I wasnt just another patient they were checking in and working on. The person who cleaned my teeth did a great job and was very personable and knowledgeable to answer my questions. As I was leaving I could hear them working with a young child and it made me smile how they were explaining to him what they were going to be doing. I will definitely be going back.

All of these reviews must be from friends and family! This place is highly unprofessional.I was told I had several cavities that I did not. Was also told that I had a chipped tooth!They were trying to charge me like 600 for everything. Ended up going to a much more reputable dentist and I only had one cavity which cost 60.00 with my insurance. Be careful please there are still people out there just out for your money!

Staff was very friendly and very experienced. I had an exam, cleaning, and x-rays. I was thoroughly informed of what needed to be done, and how it was going to be done, and how much it would cost. i was also informed of fluoride toothpaste that would help my teeth and I was over all pleased and made another appointment to get fillings done.

I found Dr. Palmer and her highly skilled staff professional and accommodating. The personal attention given to each patient is unprecedented in other dental practices. I previously had issues with dental work that was substandard. Dr. Palmer was quick to correct the work that was causing pain and worked with me to make a plan that fit my time constraints and financial needs. All of the work I received was excellent and pain free. My crowns feel like my original teeth and are fully functional. Her understanding of anatomy, cutting edge skills, along with exquisite artistry is a winning combination that makes a visit to the dentist a pleasure. Excellent work!

Dr. Palmer is excellent. Everyone from the assistants to the reception makes you feel valued as a patient. They are always happy and friendly. Most importantly, Dr. Palmer does amazing work. She is the first dentist I have ever had that actually waited for the medicine to numb the area before starting. I have had two fillings done by her and both times it was like nothing happened. When my kids get a little older I am bringing them here!

Dr. Palmer and the girls that run this place are top notch! Talk about a group of ladies with awesome personalities, they had me relaxed and even laughing my first visit. I have had pretty bad experiences at the dentist in the past(waking up during wisdom teeth being extracted with chisel and hammer bad people!) I am actually excited to go back and see them again and again! I even made appointments for my kids before I left. Now let’s get to BrittAny with an A, she is amazing! Informed me that I should not use crest pro health because I am allergic to it and it was causing pure jungle rot in my mouth (that’s extreme I do have niceish teeth people just bad breath and some cavities)so off her suggestion I switched to a new brand and my mouth feels so clean! Hats off to her for having to clean that icky mouth up!Caelee, now this girl is a rock star, the way she worked with Doc Palmer was flawless and comforting you would think they have worked together forever! They have now filled 9 of my 12 cavities and have not judged or made me feel anything other than comfortable the whole time. But seriously floss people! Don’t skip that it’s no joke. Oh doctor Palmer is a female who is super nice and seems to really care for her patients and she is not the same doctor Palmer (male)that shot the lion in Africa just in case it crossed your mind reading this.

I switched to Dr. Palmer this month after my husband and little girl have been going there for a year and they loved it. Well, I loved my first visit!! I normally hate going to the dental (my least favorite place on Earth), but I was at ease there, I got a fantastic cleaning, pointers on flossing, and you know what? I have a terrible bite (over bite and under bite in front), and I hate to even smile in pictures. She was the first dentist (at least in my adult life) who with her first look at my teeth asked me if I had any troubles with my bite and has. Well, yes I do! Im now looking into invisialign. They dont try to sell you on anything either. My husband at our old dentist was on a 3 month scaling schedule, and is now on a regular schedule!!

I have only had two visits but so far the service has been excellent. Clean office, prompt service, friendly and helpful staff, and pretty much pain free procedure. As always the novocain injection was the most painful part and even that wasnt too bad.

I dont like going to the dentist - EXCEPT - this one. The people are nice, caring and you do not feel like one of a crowd. They know who you are. Im going back

Well over a year ago I started my Invisalign journey with Dr. Palmer and her team. For years, may I even say decades, I was a inwardly embarrassed about my teeth not being straight and not quite having the smile I wanted for pictures and for meeting people. I have now completed the work and have that smile I was looking for! I could not be happier! Dr. Palmer and her team know exactly what they are doing. One of her dental assistants, Katie, is extremely knowledgeable with Invisalign and orthopedic work. This too gave me confidence that the experience would be a success. Dr. Palmer accurately predicted my timeframe of treatment, kept me progressing throughout the journey, and didnt let me go until I was 100% satisfied!
