The administrative staff was very rude and did not tell us that normal cleaning is not available in clinic and they are trying to push us for deep cleaning, the costs are very high compared to other dental clinics. And another important thing is that they demanded money to get my x-ray report even though they got money from my insurance. I took the appointment without seeing Googles review, please do not make mistakes like me, please refer snap attached from a review.

Cleanings: I have enjoyed my cleanings from Gina. She has been gentle, thorough, and expedient. The key for me is gentleFillings: No filling that I’ve ever had has been pleasant, regardless of dentist. That being said, Dr Patel and his team seem prepared, efficient, and thorough. I feel like I always get their very best every time that I need work done.Staff: Professional and pleasant. They are helpful, kind and seem caring.Invisalign: About to begin this journey at a great rate. Normal charge appears to be 5000 but am getting mine for 3500. We’ll see how it turns out

Bright Side Dental is the place to go for any dental problem you are having. I have been going here for well over 5 years and they are the absolute best! Recently I just had an appointment with Dr. Patel, Sammy, and Shelly. I got some not so great news about my teeth but the staff was very quick to comfort me and show me that they will do whatever they can to help. They really are AMAZING here.

I love that can do all my treatment in one location. They have general dentists and specialists in one place so I dont have to go to different offices. I can get my cleanings, fillings, root canal, implant, crown, Invisalign all in one place with the doctors working together as a team. Everyone is warm and friendly. The quality of care is great and Im really happy with the work and care Ive received. The also have convenient hours. Its hard not to love this place!

I have been going to this location for close to three years now and the ladies at the reception desk are very polite and welcoming every time I have been in. Their office is clean and nicely decorated, no matter what time of the year. They clean and disinfect everything thoroughly, especially now during COVID time. They like playing 80s music, which I enjoy so the anxiety level is less than at a regular dentist office. All the assistants that have helped me have always been very helpful and informative whenever they do their prep work and the hygienists are always nice and gentle. I especially enjoyed Kay. She made my last visit quite enjoyable.

This is a great place to go take care of your teeth. All the people here were very gentle and kind to me. The dentist was very nice and informative.

Same day appointment-on a weekend (plus); paperwork filled out before appointment via text (plus); clear instructions on arriving to location; arrived 10 minutes early and texted as instructed and was able to come in early; met with smiling faces and very nice staff (Shelby, Shaine, Allie, Bethany & Leo); Leo made me fill very comfortable and explained everything thoroughly before doing anything. Dr. Sarna was very pleasant and did the same with thoroughly explaining what was going on in my mouth. Facility was super clean. The technology used is amazing. My overall experience (plus/plus/plus) was surprisingly awesome (because I dont like going to the dentist) and I will be bringing my family here for now on.

Got some fillings done by Dr. Patel, and he made the process very comforting and easy! Not the biggest fan of needles. He used a stronger numbing jelly, and I did not feel a thing! All the staff are so welcoming and friendly. Dr. Sarna is also great too! She explains every procedure throughly, which eases any of my anxiety! 100% recommend this office!

I was a nervous wreck when I entered the facility with infection in the upper jaw. The front desk staff made me feel right at home immediately when I walked in the door. The reception and the waiting area was very well decorated and comfortable.Met with Dr. Remy Sarna and she examined my problem very thoroughly and explained all the options for treatment with complete understanding. Finally procedure was performed with NO PAIN and got my smile back. I must say the best dental care I had ever experienced. Now I no longer have anxiety about my dental appointments. I had an appointment today with the hygienist for my regular 6 months cleaning. I usually have Kay as my hygienist who is a very friendly and kind soul. She makes sure you feel comfortable and works along with you to provide a very easy and breezy experience. She is a gem. Unfortunately, today I worked with Gina. It was a very painful and bad experience. She did not seem to be in good mood and my 30 minute cleaning session was unbearable. She wasn’t friendly at all and I am surprised I got this kind of treatment as I am regular at this clinic. Certain areas were very painful And sensitive during the cleaning. Gina did not provide a numbing gel and was unbothered by my discomfort. Seeing the dentist should be somewhat an experience that puts a smile on your face and today was the very opposite. I am disappointed.

I was able to get a same day appointment and I was greeted by friendly smiles. I was comfortable for someone who dreads going to the dentist. They took their time and answered all my questions and concerns. I was able to receive a finance plan that works with me. Dr Patel was very nice and gentle as well. I really like this office! For one thing, I feel they are honest, which is obviously a HUGE thing. I had an experience with a different dental office and I swear, the dentist did unnecessary work with the sky-rocket bill attached. I left his office after that and sought out a new dental office. If I get one whiff of no integrity from a dental/medical office or really any business I am dealing with, I am out of there. Rest assured with this office. They even offer an annual discounted plan for cleanings and check-ups. I like it!The office, equipment, etc is clean just as it should be. They truly live their motto of pain free dentistry. Everyone in the office (I have seen many of the dentists here and hygienists) has always made it a priority that I am seen quickly and am comfortable throughout. I came to them with a mouth full of problems and my previous dentist had all but given up on saving my teeth, but everyone at Bright Side has calmly and tirelessly worked over the past three years to set things right. I moved away from Farmington but I still make the drive back here because I just don’t trust anyone else to care for me as much as the staff here does.

During my recent visit I had a great experience. The staff was friendly and helpful ranging from the front desk to the assistants in the back. The doctor explained my treatment clearly and helped me understand what was needed now vs in the future. They were not pushy in trying sell procedures and give me all the info that I needed to make an informed decision. I would highly recommend this office!

I take my husband to this dentist. He loves it there. They take good care of him. They are aware of his dementia and double check with me about the things he tells them with no embarrassment . The staff is very kind and helpful. When I was frustrated with their new paperless system and had to answer questions I had no answers for, they took my phone and filled in the information they needed so we could continue with the scheduled appointment. Very helpful and considerate since I was more than frustrated with the task at hand. Oh, and his teeth are fine.

In all of my years visiting the dentist and orthodontist, Bright Side Dental-Farmington has been the best! The front office greets you immediately when walking through the door. Im never sitting for an extended amount of time before being taken back, nonetheless the waiting area is cozy and gives off a home environment. The insurance coordinator Stephanie takes her time to explain the cost of procedures, benefits, and payment options. I generally have the same nurse during my visits, Ramona, who is so friendly and patient focused but also down-to-earth. Lastly, Dr. Sernas bedside matter is impeccable! Shes an expert in her field, but yet warm, gentle and thorough. I would highly recommend this office!

After moving to Farmington Hills from over 2500 miles away I am happy to say I found am excellent location for all of my dental needs. I have now been going to this location for over a year and it has been a diamond in the rough when looking for a dentist.Just the other day I stopped by for a routine cleaning. My hygienist Kay and her assistant Rocio did a wonderful job cleaning my teeth and removing any stains. Dr. Patel then stopped by to review the X-rays they had taken and found some issues that needed to be worked on. Soon enough the front desk crew of Shelby, Stephanie, Ann, Amanda, and Bethany scheduled me for a time that fit my schedule to have these issues solved.

My experiences here have always been top notch. They do a great job at making you feel comfortable, and are transparent and honest with you when it comes to the things you need to have done. On August 3, 2016 I have my teeth cleaning appointment, I arrived extremely early, I told them that I was going to go and get something to drink and then come back to sign in for my appointment; I wasnt gone but maybe 15 minutes and they called me on my cell phone and said that they could take me now. How may dental offices would do that. I like the promptness and that they dont try and get you to do work that isnt needed. All the staff and dentist there are extremely friendly. I would highly recommend Bright Side Dental of Farmington to everyone.

The staff at Bright Side were amazing. I came in as a walk-in and they were able to see me that day for my cleaning. They took my x-rays quickly and comfortably. My hygienist was gentle but thorough and Dr. Sarna explained everything to me very clearly and made me feel at ease. Definitely will be coming back and bringing me family too!

If you are courteous enough to call and tell them you are running 5-10 minutes late they cancel your appointment, yet they are running half an hour late and dont try and accommodate you in the schedule. Sorry I dont have half an hour to waste if your lobby while your sitting in the back laughing instead of helping get the rooms clean so patients can be taken faster.

I visited Bright Side Dental today to get a cleaning and filling replacement. I havent been to the dentist in years, so I was a little nervous. Based on my experience today, they will be my new permanent dental office. Everyone was really nice, and I was amazed at how gentle my dental hygienist was after how long I had skipped my cleanings. They were very upfront with everything, and I liked how clean everything was (plastic coverings on computer mouse, machine handles, etc). Thanks Kay, Roscio, Ana and Dr. Sarna! When my dentist of 30 years retired, I needed a new office. I decided to give Bright Side a chance based on the reviews online and location convenient to my fiances office in Farmington.We had a little bit of a wait after we filled out paperwork, but I think we were early for our appointment so it made sense. We had a second wait after our cleanings, but we both had extensive work that needed to be done and it was busy Friday so it wasnt unreasonable.The technician was great with my x-rays, and Gina gave me the fastest cleaning Ive ever had. I particularly enjoyed meeting the dentist (Dr. Patel, I think -- Im bad with names). I have TMJ and my previous dentist was pretty dismissive of it, but Dr. Patel had some good advice on avoiding pain and not making the problems worse. He was also very kind and considerate during my filling at my follow-up appointment.The ladies at the front desk were chipper, personable, and efficient. I spoke to Shelby several times before our first appointment getting insurance worked out and she was consistently friendly and knowledgeable.I feel confident returning to this office and am glad we found such a good office off the bat after hearing several horror stories recently from friends dealing with problematic practices.

Extremely well trained staff. Great team work and communication between staff members! Dr. Sarna is smart and confident in what she does and she does it well. Ramona is kind, patient, intelligent and compassionate. So is the rest of the staff I have interacted with... Shelby, Steph, Amanda and Ann.

From the minute I called to make an emergency appointment, I was treated awesome. The dentist saw me within an hour! Once I arrived, everyone was so friendly and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. The dentist was very thorough and took his time. I highly recommend!

Super friendly and nice! They told me exactly what I needed done and why and how and even showed me exactly the problem. It’s a dentist, which is never fun, but at least it’s helpful! I recommend this place for sure!

I have been going to this Bright Side location for about 2 years (2 crowns and a few cleanings). The service is usually good but I feel like they are to pushy and constantly trying to push services I may not need. They call constantly very early in the morning and leave messages when they say its time for your 6 month teeth cleaning. I suspect this is because the insurance I have pays for most of it? Not sure. The final straw was I scheduled a cleaning from their website and they called to confirm as you cannot confirm it on the site. The girl looked up in their system and saw i am a current patient. I scheduled it and showed up the next day. Upon siting in the dental chair ready to get my cleaning, they refused to clean my teeth unless I did xrays. I told the hygienist that I was in a hurry could come in later for xrays and exam. She said that she would have to ask the doctor. A few minutes later a rude office manger told me since its been a year and half i can only do the xrays and schedule the cleaning later. This was in a very rude manner so i decided not to get into it with her. I told her that i had a cleaning before without xrays but she refused to let me do what I came in for. I told her i will have to reschedule then as she kept talking to me as i walked out in a very condescending manner when she spoke to me. My last words were I am the patient! This office manager is terrible and has no customer service skills. It only re-enforced my perception its all about money for them. If that is their policy or ADA policy I do not know. They could have let me know this when i scheduled it in the first place! Bottom line I will not be taking my business there any longer.

I had my cleaning at this location in Dec 2016. Usually i go to Redwood dental - they are really great but they are far from my home. So, I chose to go Bright Side this time. They said my cleaning should be covered 100% with my insurance at the time of scheduling an appointment and visit. Later, I ended up a receiving surprise bill after couple of months. I wish I could give zero stars if there is a possibility. Be careful!

I was seen at a different location for othodontic services. I was told by them that my case was something that they would not be able to take on. I was sent to the Farmington Hills location for a second opinion. Right away, the entire staff was so welcoming and nice. I was seen by Dr. Daia, who decided that even though my case was difficult, he was going to take it on. I am now 6 months in to treatment, and we are all so impressed with the changes we see already in my smile. I have gained a confidence that I never expected!!! The entire staff at this location is amazing!!!!

I LOVE THIS OFFICE! I had never been to this office before and I was in extreme tooth pain to to the point of not being able to function. The office staff told me to come in now they were waiting for me. They were AMAZING very gentle and made sure I was out of pain before they even touched me! We are now patients for life!

The staff here is so friendly and welcoming - they made me feel right at home! The atmosphere in the office is fun and inviting. Dr. Sarna was extremely helpful in not only explaining procedures but also educating me about them as well. I received Zoom! whitening treatment and also had cavities filled. Both procedures went smoothly and were quick and painless. Im beyond satisfied with the quality of care that I received and look forward to my future appointments in this office.

Ive always had a MAJOR phobia of going to the dentist. So much so...I was never consistent with my appointments. This weekend, I had to have a deep cleaning done. The entire office is amazing but this time I dealt with Emily and Danny! Emily set me up and took my X-rays and Danny did the deep cleaning. Danny walked me through the entire process, explained why it needed to be done and the benefits moving forward. I loved how he was always concerned about my comfort and he numb me so good I didnt feel a thing! I absolutely love this office and would recommend Bright Side Dental - Farmington to anyone that is looking for a dental office that truly cares! Ive overcome my fear/phobia...thanks to this office!!! xo

I have been taking my brother Anes to this dental office for over 3 years now. They are always accommodating with his school schedule. The staff is fantastic and the doctors are great! They were even able to do his fillings on the same day as his cleaning appointment. Great place for anyone in need of a new dentist!

This place was great, my tooth hurt a little after the filling and they got me in right away to adjust my bite. Ana assisted Dr. Patel and I felt very comfortable the whole time.

Painless, easy, affordable, very comfortable, extremely friendly, cordial, hospitable.I had a massive tooth ache and got both of my wisdom teeth removed and it was fast, professional and best part - pain free.Would recommend this to anyone and everyone !

VERY friendly office staff. Doctors and dental hygienists are exceptional and treat patients with respect. Moreover, I never have to worry about recommendations for unnecessary work.On a side note, I recently got my braces here. Their prices are excellent, and they even provide a free Oral B electric tooth brush.Overall, Brightside accomplishes the challenging task of making dentist appointments fun.
