Zachary and Derrick were by far the greatest people I’ve ever brought my car to. From the minute I stepped in, I felt safe and taken care of. They walked me through the problem and as a young woman it was very appreciated how patient they were and also made me see the issue and understanding the pricing. Zachary made me feel like he was fixing my car for his own kid, where safety was the top priority. Thank you for being knowledgeable, patient, and kind, I will be back for any issues in the future. Noticed one of my tires was leaking after having driven from Providence down to Little Compton, and this was the first place I called about a fix. Zach was kind enough to squeeze me in when he heard about my situation. He checked but couldnt repair the tire, so I ended up needing to have all four tires replaced. They took care of it quickly and got me on my way. Really grateful to have found these guys in my hour of need! Didnt catch the younger gentlemans name but both he and Zach were extremely kind and considerate, made me feel like I was at my usual mechanics! 11/10 would recommend, wish I could give more than 5 stars.

Brought our Toyota for a routine oil change. The guys working on the car found that the oil pan was cracked and needed to be replaced. This guys did they’re best to try and fix it but no dice the pan needed to be totally replaced costing hefty chunk of change. Well the manger realized we have been loyalty customers for couple of years and that the crack in the pan should have been addressed at our last visits. Knowing this they chose to replace our pan free of charge. A pretty stand up staff and excellent service.

Went in this morning for brakes because they needed to be done desperately. I dont tend to love Monroe, but my visit was great at this location. They pointed out another issue that I had let slide for too long (Im a careless car owner) and worked with me to get both jobs done in one visit. Friendly workers, came to check on me a few times. In and out in an hour and a half. Shoutout to Zachary and Forest!Edit: I have brought my vehicle crack twice due to an issue involving the breaks I had to replace. They had two opportunities to fix their mistake and they didn’t. When it became too unsafe to continue driving I had to get it fixed at another place.Now they refuse to refund because “they don’t pay others to fix their mistakes”. They apparently don’t fix their mistakes either.Customer service goes a long way. Would no longer recommend.

Friendly staff, very professional and polite. They did a great job installing my tires. They told me its good to get an alignment when you change your tires, so I agreed. I didnt actually need it after they inspected it. I appreciate the honesty of their staff. When most mechanics would try to take advantage of a woman and complete work that was not necessary, its good to know I received an honest answer and service!! Well done guys!

As a woman in the car world, many of us can relate to dishonesty, the run around, over priced services but NOT HERE. Dennis took care of my Cindy (my car) with care and not only that he literally gave me a complete break down of what I need and why I kept having to replace my tires with a different company. What I require when I pay for a service is honesty, I paid for it! And that’s what Dennis did for me and I know without a shadow of a doubt he will do that for you. Signed a repeat customer :)

I went for an oil change and tire Rotation. I specifically asked if the tires were rotated. He said yes they were. I left and checked my rims, they were never rotated not even a finger print on the break dust. I paid for this service plus I purchased my tires there..this was all said by the Manager, Dennis Furman. I called him he said oh I thought he did it. He offered me to come in another day to have it done..No, I was there to have it done. He should have offered a free oul change or a refund...Absolutely nothing..liers dont get anywhere.

4 years cust Went to get an oil change in July had some younger kid . spill oil all over my alternator. When I replaced the unit still coverd in oil stay away from this place even the customer service did nothing after pics sent with oil all over the alternator . they did not care at all. 20 dollar oil change cost me 200$ .

The prices are very resonable so i started bringing my vehicles there. The older gentleman that runs the shop is knowlegable but i made the mistake of bringing my vehicle there for an oil change when he wasnt there. Next day i smelled something funny so i decided to get my car looked at by a BMW dealership. Took a dew days to get in to be seen and now 2 blown gaskets due to too much oil being added. The only reason they knew was because the oil level was still max level after it leaking all over the exhaust causing the burning smell. Now its a $2000 repair for another shop to do it or about $500 if i just do it myself. If the older guy is there to supervise and give insight then you may be ok but those younger guys going unsupervised caused me a degree of difficulty that im not willing to risk again. Sucks i thought i found my go to shop in Fall River for oil changes.

Had a safety recall that was fixed at the dealership, while there I was told I needed new brakes and rotors front and back. They quoted me over a thousand. Called Monro and they checked all my brakes though I did need rear brakes and rotors the cost was no way near what the dealership wanted. I will definitely be coming back. Very helpful and friendly staff

Going there with working car for oil change, then they call that your key is bent and it doesnt ignite the engine..) then checking and seeing that they broke key engine cylinder.. and wants 299 for part and 100 labor which goes to 400 for old 2009 hyundai sonata... and im checking autozone and they have part for 100 $.. man i just wanted oil change

I had a flat tire on 195 headed east on Friday afternoon, bummer. I had recently purchased the tires from a different Monroe dealership. Because I had purchased the protection plan I was able to get the tire fixed on Friday afternoon for free, the new manager was incredibly helpful, they were able to take me right away.The service team to take a little bit of time, but it was explained that they wanted to be sure that the glue is fully dried before balancing the tire. Manager was very helpful and I was happily on my way. Really like the fact that I can purchased the tires at one dealership and have the support of all the Munro dealerships. Great experience.

This place really helped me out when I needed brakes. Now that you can look up prince ranges for automobile repairs I am proud to share my experience. They had my car. It needed brakes all around. I brought my vehicle in for a much overdue oil change. During their inspection I learned I needed new brake pads pronto. I knew this in my head but hadnt thought about it. They also noticed my tire bolts were not all the same which required a return visit. But they did get everything in order and I feel safer. The guys there are friendly and great and explain everything. The only miss was my windshield washer was empty. Other large oil change places refill fluids. So I still have to run out and buy some windshield washer. Not a biggie but it is one more chore.

Up until recently I would not have gone to this site. But I am quite happy to know they have a trusted manager on site. Joe worked in Swansea where I was going to after bad dealings in fall River. I always got treated very well and service was always trusted. Yesterday I showed up at the end of the day with what was an emergency (to me) Joe and his guy working took care of things instantly even though the bays had much work to be done already. I am truly thankful for their kindness.

The mechanic working on my vehicle was polite and answered all questions I had to the best of his ability. I went in with a p0300 code and asked them to fix the misfire on my 2005 silverado . They charged me $370 and did no work to it at all . The code is still on and it is still misfiring. Do not go here these people are CROOKS. BE WARNED VERY DISHONEST!

I needed my oil change after a run to the Cape. I called Monroe in Fall River & spoke to John, who was very accommodating. He took my car in right away & not only changed the oil but checked out everything on the car. I would reccomend this place to anyone.I did find the oil change price to be high but John also used a coupon available to bring the price down.

Update:I’ve been using Monroe’s for years for oils changes, Jan 2021 I was due for one and they discovered the oil pan had the threads busted from last oil change.Zac and others assured me they could do a plug switch and when that didnt pan out* they replaced the parts only at cost of parts. I’m thankful they were accommodating. I thought I was going to have to get a tow and they worked with me, especially after seeing how many times I been there over the years.Great customer service helpful informative and very smart. Oil change was done in a timely matter and they were flexible to encourage coming in earlier than the apt because as time!

I had a scheduled appointment for an oil change on 12/8 at 12 at the business located on Rhode Island Ave. Due to my rushing to arrive on a timely manner, I had forgotten the coupon/special received through mail. I had attempted to address it to the “supervisor/manager” at front desk. With a tone and an attitude he stated that he didn’t know what I was referring to, and brushed off my concern of saving and or which oil to use since I wasn’t able to bring/provide the coupon. Along with myself waiting, was another customer with his wife. He was conversing with her in a low tone. And the “supervisor/manager” later came from behind the counter to get in his face and argue with the customer, and in front of my children. When my car was ready to go and service is complete, I get in my car and it had a strong odor of marijuana. If a customer’s car is being serviced, it shouldn’t be returned smelling like marijuana, cigarettes, etc.. I’ve been a customer for about 6 years. And this was a very unpleasant experience.

I come all the time and i swear it just gets worse. Going to have to rethink about coming here again. There staff pays zero attention to you. Came in 20 minutes earlier then my appointment. He told me it will be 30 minutes or so before i get in. Okay fine. No one took my key and he didn’t print out my sheet that i just needed and oil change and tire rotation. The main guy left for awhile and the staff was honestly bringing in there friends vehicles to work on and skipped all of us who were waiting. I can’t lie, the main guy came back and was saying why is that guy still here waiting for just and oil change. They looked so dumbfounded. I think his name is John, the only guy who doesn’t lie to you, he needs new help because those 3 other guys standing in the garage section smoking and laughing arent cutting it. Fire them and get a new staff. They are honestly just stealing money from you because they do nothing! End of rant.

I had tires shipped there from Tirerack. I called and made an appointment for 4:30 PM the next day. When I showed up to drop the car off the employee who took my keys told me it would be about an hour and a half. I was already wondering why they quoted me almost triple the average time to perform the service (Google it) and I was incensed when I returned about an hour later to find my car wasnt even in the garage yet. I asked a different employee what the deal was and he told me that my car would be ready by closing time (7 PM). Two and a half hours for a mount and balance WITH AN APPOINTMENT? I told him to give me my keys and that Id come back tomorrow on the condition he guaranteed my car would go in the garage at 4:30 PM sharp. I brought my car back the next day and they started working on it as soon as I dropped it off. It still took them over an hour to mount and balance, which is slow considering they only had to pull tires off three of the rims (I swapped a bad rim out with a new one). They were very apologetic and gave me 25% discount which is the only reason they didnt get one star. I doubt Ill go back if I can find a nearby place to mount tires I didnt buy from them.

If I could give it a zero I would!!!I was told it would take 35 minutes to balance 4 tires (already mounted on wheels) and swap the left tires front to back and back to front. It took them 45 minutes to an hour just to put my car on the rack and has been on the rack for an hour so far with only 1 tire balanced ............. not happy.ZERO STARSUpdate....2 1/2 hours later....done

They helped me out when I really needed it. I was left with a puncture flat tire and no spare after going over some debris in the intersection near Reds; and when I went to change my tire I saw that Town Fair replaced the wrong one and left me with the flat I wanted replaced. I got to Monro and they helped me right away. I left my car there overnight, and was able to come by the next morning and pick it up with the tires I needed. Even cost less than I feared it would too!I highly recommend going here for auto service.

Used to be a good experience but the past 3 times I went there was a time issue. First it was supposed to be a half hour wait that turned out to be an hour & a half. Second time I called & they said come right in its a half hour wait tops. When I get there they couldnt even see me b/c they were so busy! Then finally a third time (only b/c I had no where else to go) I call & ask specifically are you sure its a half hour wait, how busy is it? He reassured me that if I came in it would be a half hour wait so I drive there. He asks if Im dropping off the car & I say no. He then says well I can maybe squeeze you in before the end of the day!!! THAT WAS 2 AND A HALF HOURS FROM THEN!!! Im all set w/ that place! Time for a new oil change place!

Went there to have tires put on, Joe the manager explained in detail everything that they were going to do, Liz the tech noticed while doing a pre inspection that my shocks were Shot, so I had them replaced, overall service was great, nice to know that there are honest people left in this world, I would highly recommend Monro for All your service needs.

I went to check out a brake problem this Saturday morning. The manager (didnt get his name) had only 1 mechanic and explained that to me. I agreed to stay and after a bit of a wait, he (the manager) had my car on a lift. He found nothing wrong with the brakes - they were clean. He rotated the tires thinking that might be the problem. Ill find out. He charged me nothing for his effort. THAT is customer service!

Great place for the usual things your car needs. Shop has really improved since nick has taken over. Only place to go for vehicle maintenence in the city of Fall River. Brake service and specials going on all the time gets me free wipers and tire rotations for winter free of charge. Make an appointment though.

The worst experience ever in my life. They sold me 4 tires and 1 was no good. To get it replaced was hell. The manager was supposed to order the tire and did not. The workers didnt want to help me either. The true fact is they treated me like crap. If you have a bad experience, call their corporate office. They will do their best to make things right. They gave me $50 gift card to redeem at any other Monro aside from Rhode Island Avenue. If only I could give them zero stars.

Never going back here again. I scheduled an appointment for a simple oil change and it took them over 3 hours to finish. I came to check on my car unannounced and saw one their employees whipping my car out of the parking lot and speeding down the ave, cutting off cars. Just because I have a new sports car, doesnt give them a reason to go for joy rides and beat on it. I vented my frustration to the manager and it barely phased him. They lost a long time customer.

Dont ever go to monroe auto service in fallriver on Rhode island Avenue. I went there the other day to get a oil change and along with it they are supposed to fill my fluids up and check them I went in there with little transmission fluid and radiator fluid they said they filled them up. Today my car started to smoke and not kick over I had to get it towed to my house from work so when I get home my fiance checks my fluids and still no fluids. I called them up asking if they fill the fluids up and check and the guy his name was Joe said yes. So I said ok my names natasha I was here the other day for a oil change and my fluids are very low my car was smoking I have pretty much nothing. He goes well you would have noticed well before hand you had no fluids before the smoke I said yes but you said you fill them up. He goes well I dont know why the guy didnt do it Ill talk to the guy but theres nothing we can do for you and hung up. He didnt offer to fix the problem, to fill my fluids up, or even a apology he blamed me for something they didnt do which I paid them for.

Monday, July 18 2016.Worst customer experience you can ever get! I went there because I needed answers. 1st I called and he didnt answer my questions and told me to go there to see what they had, I did exactly that. The tall heavy men wearing dark sunglasses spoke to me like an a-hole, he made me feel like a piece of s**t literally. Very bad attitude. I do business and this is not the way I treat my customers, Ive been doing customer sevice for 10 years now and Ive never make my customers feel ignorant. I am definitely not getting my car serviced there at all or suggest my friends, family members or even customers this place.I left the place very angry and frustrated with no answers. I drove to Monro from New Bedford, MA during traffic hours in the afternoon.People just do not consider this place please.

NEVER GO TO MONRO MUFFLER BRAKE & SERVICE IN FALL RIVER, MA!My husband brought his car in this past Friday just to have them replace the sensor for the tire monitor system. They told him it would cost $50. Didnt hear back from them, so my husband called the next day. They had NO IDEA what they were supposed to do to the car even though my husband explained it to them when he dropped it off. They then said they would have it done. We called the NEXT DAY and had to come in to talk to someone. They charged my husband $88 and denied ever quoting him $50. My husband paid and as he got into the car, it couldnt start. THE BATTERY WAS DEAD! And now were stuck here!The service is terrible. We dont trust anything they say. WERE NEVER GOING BACK.

Horrible Service. I went to this place looking for help and left my vehicle almost the whole day. When I got the call from the place super expensive price and they did not check the whole vehicle. Worker there was in a hurry, and careless of custumer needs. He literally could not take 30 seconds to write down what was wrong with one side of the car. Basically, did not care. Again, horrible service, custumwr service and personel. Go somewhere else.

Busy smoking cigarettes. Walking around. Got my car done two days later then I expected. Had to be home in two days.Wouldve fixed it myself if they gave me a true time frame will never go to a monro ever no matter what.

After paying for oil change,got into my vehicle and there was a nip bottle on my seat,went back into the store and told the manager he denied it was any of the workers liquor...then stated that the guy just left whom was on the clock drinks but he wasnt working on my vehicle...if that makes any sense....very concerning!!! Your putting peoples lives and safety at risk!!!will NEVER AGAIN go back.to this location or any other location! I should be.entitled to a refund!!
