The Arctic Circle tour guided by the military-veteran, Josh, was the highlight of my trip! The Dalton highway was so dangerous in the winter, but Josh drove it with skill and confident. Josh also very kind and knowledgeable about the area and told many facts and stories. He took care of everyone from feeding us hot cocoa, hunting aurora, to make the restroom stops. Thank you, Josh!

We took a shuttle from Denali to Fairbanks with 1st Alaska. Our driver was great with relevant narration, and he was a professional and skilled driver making it as comfortable as possible for passengers by avoiding the bumps along the way. Would highly recommend!

Did the yurt aurora tour and was so happy we did. Our first attempt ever and we were lucky enough to see the aurora around 1AM and it was incredible! The tour guide was knowledgeable and fun, the yurt was a nice place to warm up in-between viewings. Would highly recommend if youre looking for a comfortable and warm way to experience the Aurora if youre lucky enough to see them.

Thank you 1st Alaska Tours and to our incredible guide Randy! We were on the Arctic Circle tour last night and was not disappointed!Randy was extremely knowledgeable and the scenery was breathtaking! We were also very excited that the northern lights came out to dance in the skies above! Knowing that the northern lights cannot be guaranteed, we were very happy that the skies were clear and the conditions were perfect for a great sighting! Thanks again!

I visited Fairbanks, Alaska and went on a dog sled, dinner, and aurora lights experience. My tour guide was fantastic Holly. She was so friendly, knowledgeable, and interesting to talk to. The musher Bob from Belgium was great as well. I would highly recommend this company and excursion.

My friend and I enjoyed a lot our tour to Chena Hot Springs with Brooke, who was amazing and accommodating. Brooke went out of her way not only to make sure our group has a terrific experience at Chena and seeing the Northern Lights, but also for us to have a picture! She went above and beyond of what the tour was about, sharing stories, chasing the Auroras best viewing location, and not looking at the time. Thank you so much for great memories!

Alaska ...Exploring the Last Frontier...as our plane landed in Fairbanks, we knew a wonderful Adventure has already begun. Feeling the freezing temperature brushed our face as we stepped out of the airport was already quite an experience itself for us who come from a tropical country. To be continued...

The tour guide, Robin, made the evening enjoyable. Otherwise, the wood was wet and actually made of pieces of a dog house that created a smoky and weak fire. The van had a broken seatbelt. The office was unorganized and gave us misinformation regarding start and stop times. I dealt with a different person each time I called or wrote. Lastly, they wouldnt let us reschedule for another night when the lights were active even though we called the morning of. This I understand the most of all as no one has control of the weather, but the workings of the business were not worth the money. Go to another tour company.

Heartless. DO NOT BOOK. Had to cancel entire Alaska trip for unexpected medical situation. Every other vendor including airlines issued refunds after providing proof EXCEPT this one. More interested in $$ than being a human being. Hard line stance on sticking to no refund policy with zero compassion or understanding or even trying to come to a negotiated mutually acceptable resolution.

We had booked the Chena hot springs excursion with the Ice museum and chance to see the aurora borealis. The package itself was appealing but our guide, Joseph made the whole experience exceptional. He was very friendly and kind with an Alaskan-twang. I loved his stories about his old trapping days. He even brought along a few treats to keep us entertained. Even though weather was not on our side we enjoyed the hot springs in Chena and I appreciate Joseph’s company and dedication to his job. 10/10 would recommend this tour and ask for Joseph!

We went on the one day arctic circle tour. Our driver was very knowledgeable about the area and was an avid outdoorsman with some interesting stories. He was very accommodating and made sure we had plenty of stops. Breakfast at the Hilltop truckstop was big and hearty and delicious. With all of that said it is still a very long day on rough roads. The scenery is great and we were happy with the experience.

Just returned from 2 tours with 1st Alaska. The best!!! I had a couple of tour guides, Cassie for the Arctic Circle and Rick for the Chena Hot Springs. They were both wonderful, taking care of every minor detail, on time, and explaining and answering all my questions as we went along. The trip to the Arctic was driven by Steve, who made me feel very safe, and helped us with the cameras and comments about Alaska.I truly recommend this company for any tours in Alaska. They are the best!!!! Thanks for the wonderful memories. Elena Puig

The most UNCOMFORTABLE, UNEVENTFUL, OVER PRICED tour company in Fairbanks. Unfortunately booked 2 different tours and they lied to us. Packed us in an old junk, stinky, dirty van like cattle. Customer service complaints do not matter to these people! Very rude after they get your money. Beyond disappointed.
