I was recommended by a friend to get a full set, pedicure and eyebrows done for my baby shower on 7/10/21. Although, they weren’t rude or anything. They seemed to rush and my NO CHIP pedicure was chipping the very next day. I haven’t done any strenuous activities since I’m 36 weeks pregnant. So the fact they look like this is unacceptable and I paid $123 for the services.

I would only recommend this business to a person I really, really dislike. The experience with staff, the owner and the nail technician was the worst nail/spa experience Ive ever had.First, you must make sure once you sign in that you constantly remind them that you are there or you will be forgotten and passed up, only for you to realize youve been waiting for almost 2 hours. They will tell everyone it is an one hour wait, but in all honestly prepare to sit for 2-3 hours at the least.The nail technician was rushing and skipped multiple basic steps during both the pedicure and manicure I recieved. After reminding them of this, they tried to fix things after the fact while my hands/feet were dry and caused great discomfort. Also, I only realized in the car ride home that they never applied a top coat to my toe nails after correcting their mistakes.In total, I spent five hours in this salon and left frustrated with $110 less in my pocket and my nails nowhere near salon quality. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE.The photo is a fresh pedicure. It looks significantly worse than the pedicure I had walked in with which had been done a month before.

Do not go here. I went for my birthday for a gel overlay and went two weeks later for a fill in. I told the nail tech that the gel was lifting and he redid fixed the nails. Fast forward to today and had the gel removed only to find out that I now have developed a fungus under those two nails.On top of that they kept asking me if I wanted a no chip to cover it up. No concern for what was happening with my nails or their integrity. They only care about the money and upselling your service. Im highly upset and nothing was done to rectify this, so Im now out of money for the service and I have to schedule an appointment with my doctor. Beware!!! Nails are severely damaged after gel removal and will take months for fungus to grow out. What was suppose to be a gift has turned into a nightmare.

Ive come here before, but my first experience was not a good one. I went this time to give it another shot and they did a great job. Im satisfied with the outcome.

I was a walk-in. Manager was very friendly. Can did my pedicure and was almost perfect- a little rushed. I got a no-chip and while he was moving the UV light back and forth, he smudged the polish. I was able to fix it myself at home with a clear topcoat (again he was rushing, so I didnt feel comfortable mentioning it to him to fix it himself). And my great toe, he clipped it crooked. I fixed that at home, also. For $80, I expected better. Ill go back, I just wont let him provide my service. Beautiful salon, all staff wore masks, properly (covering nose and mouth). Clients werent required to wear masks, but I wore one anyway.

This place is huge and clean. The girl at the front desk is very friendly and accommodating. The gentleman that did my nails was very rude and I felt rushed. I wanted no polish on my nails but expected them to be clipped, filed, and buffed to give them a nice shine. I ask him why he didnt buff my nails he then proceeded to get loud and aggressive and said you dont want polish I dont give polish. I replied not polish but at least buff it out so it has a shine. He got even louder and angrier. To keep the peace and not further be embarrassed I left. Why do we keep putting up with abusive behavior from business we regularly support and why dont we own a huge salon like this in our own neighborhood??? I wont be going back ever!

Nice nail salon:) My nail tech was very sweet and took his time. He even massaged my hands after applying my full set, which i absolutely Loved!!! Ill give four stars today to Lotus Nail Salon because its also very beautiful but, i was quoted a different price over the phone than i was quoted in person! Worth stopping in! I would recommend.

Pros- the ppl are nice, it’s clean, quiet. That it. Nails are just ok. Pedicure has my toe nails uneven and just an ok job. My nails are ok but inconsistent pricing is what makes me say don’t do it. I don’t mind paying but I expect better work for $100+. When I asked for a breakdown they were stuttering. I had to ask a lot of questions to get an accurate breakdown. I was charged the same price for a fill as a full set. It’s a no. Find an independent nail tech and get QUALITY work

Absolutely horrible customer service, the guy at the front desk was extremely rude, they overcharged and when they do design ( which is very rare because they usually run out of nail polish colors) theyre too rough and made my nails bleed and burn and are very rushed, they made me sit and wait for someone for 20 minutes right after I sat in the waiting room for an hour plus, did not give me the shape I wanted and was too thick and I had to fix it myself horrible nails horrible customer service some people were nice but a lot of them were really rude, extremely rushed and charges are very sporadic it was $70 for a basic one color because they couldnt do a basic design. I will never come back here again and I recommend you do the same

The wait was long, an hour and 10 minutes. I had called 2 hours earlier to make an appointment, but was told I didnt need it. Henry, was my nail tech and he did a nice job with my milk and honey pedicure.

This was my first experience ever having my nails done. I got acrylic full set. My only problem was that the guy wasnt very personable. Maybe it was due to English not being his primary language. He was also kind of rough cutting and shaping my nails. Ill probably give them another try

Save your money!!!!!! I got the tropical pedicure for $50 it was fairly good. I then got an acrylic full set once I arrived at the register I was told about hidden fees And my nails were $60 $111 total. One nail broke after just 3 days and another after 6 save your money

Don’t go here in a suit before or after work.They like to add $2 to $5 to your services.Their pamphlet say $18 for a manicure, dude said $20. When I called him on it, he said there is an additional $2 fee if your service is under a certain amount. That’s shady.

This place is beautiful with horrendous customer service. I requested coffin shaped nails. The nail tech used to much acrylic and did not shape my nails properly. I asked her to fix them however she did not understand. I asked to speak to management. The guy from the from desk stated he was the manager. I showed him pictures of my nails previously and he said my nails looked the same. 🙄 He then tried to convince me my nail were coffin shaped and my natural nails are just wide. Ive been getting my nails done for 14 years. I know what my nails should look like. His attitude was terrible. $56 dollars for services I did not get done correctly and the nail was inexperienced she couldnt fix the issue. I left here and immediately went to Nu Image nails on 47th and Bishop. They corrected my nails and did and amazing job! She spent about 45 minutes correcting nail that were just done at lotus spa. DO NOT GO HERE. THERE ARE BETTER AND LESS EXPENSIVE PLACES WITH BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE TO SPEND YOUR MONEY!!!!

Really enjoyed my time at Lotus Nails. One of my favorite parts was that I had a no chip and a pedicure. At other nail salons, you pick out your no chip color and then have to try and find a nail polish that matches on the nail polish wall. Not at Lotus, they take the guessing out of it and automatically match your pedicure to your no chip color.

Great service as always. Very Professional! Henry is the Best! I schedule my appointments 2 -3 weeks in advance. Lotus offers a variety of services.

I have been getting no chip polish for years and for the first time my polish has chipped at this nail place. This place is extremely unprofessional, as the nail tech who did my nails made 4 of my fingers bleed, I am not even sure he had a license to complete my service and his lack of English led to him not comprehending that I was in a lot of pain. My nails were not the shape that I requested, the job was rushed, and when I respectfully told the receptionist I received the response “The men here can be rough, try to get a female nail technician next time.” This behavior is tolerated and they’re not talented enough for me to EVER return (not to mention the wait-time). Save your money and go somewhere else.

I had an amazing experience! I tried this salon for the first time today. I received a manicure and tropical escape pedicure. Lanny was my tech and did an awesome job! Definitely plan to return and would highly recommend this salon. The salon was very clean and they are taking precautions due to the pandemic with temperature being taken at the door and adequate spacing between clients.

While my nail tech Henry and I had a great conversation, he could use additional training in basic manicures. My manicure lacked cuticle softening and little cuticle removal. I had to point out skin that needed removing. The polish application was poor. Will I return to Lotus? Probably not.

Got serviced by Henry and it was a great experience. He was nice and fun to talk to. I scheduled for my next appointment no problem. I called the day before to confirm since I got no update. The manager was so distastefully rude. Wouldn’t take the time to look up my name just brushed me off and even put the phone down. Told me I had no appointment and couldn’t speak with Henry. Spoke very rudely and said I’ll have to do walk-in either way. Shame on me for even giving them a chance. Will still to black owned business

Don’t even think about coming here unless you have an appointment or multiple hours where you don’t mind waiting. I got here at 10 AM and waited a full hour to be sat for my pedicure. A tech turned the water on, got me situated and I thought okay finally! U til he said “Someone will be with you soon.” Like ??? Why would you take me back then ?? I dried off my feet and left, and I won’t be back. If you don’t have an appointment you will wait way too long for what it’s worth.

Mindy did my nails and I loved them. Nice, neat, and very quick. Shop is clean will be returning.

Nails and toes sloppy. Tech must have thought she put oil on toes to dry and instead put cleat polish so white polish was dryed all over toes which also caused polish to mess up. She was nice but need good service and personality. One nail chipped next day. Went back and wanted nails redone to avoid all nails chipping sooner and they refused . Guess what happen nail chipped on trip. I would have went back to find another person that does better but im tired of trying people out and if not being happen I will not be compensated. Going elsewhere

The nail tech was awesome. My pedicure was great, but I will never return. I called to ask the price for a pedi and was told $32. I get there check in and began to soak my feet for the young lady to tell me $40. I get to the register for the man to say anything over $30 we charge $3 more.....what? I said you already changed the price 2 times. It went from $32 to $40. He said because you got the milk and honey treatment. OK well the extra $3 is for what? Its an up charge. Our prices went up. I said you need to change all of your flyers then and when you answer the phone explain that....

Nail technician was unable to perform the design I requested… said he could only paint one color. Charged $20 for the fill in $15 for the no chip $10 for a manicure then added a $5 medium length nail charge to paint my nails. They make up their own pricing and are not professionals. It should have been a sign when I seen the Evergreen park police department in front. SMH avoid this place at all cost.

Lisa was my nail technician. She suggested the ombre looked which great with the nice diamond flower design she applied.My senior mom was with me who uses a cane. Her technician (?) was very kind and concerned about her getting up from the pedicure chair.This was my first time at the salon. Im looking forward to my next visit.

This was my first time here and let me tell you that I was not disappointed. David was my tech and he did the dam thing;( I tried the eucalyptus and spearmint pedicure and it was the greatest ) I feel like I have brand new feet because of his wonderful hands. The ambiance in the shop is so relaxing. I will definitely be returning.

Today’s visit was my first. A friend told me about the salon. My experience was a good one. ~My only concern was being charged extra for a ‘cut-down’ when I was having a gel no-chip fill in. I expect a cut down would be a part of a fill in. It makes it very hard to to extend a tip - and Amy did deserve one. **Not to mention the $3 fee for not using cash.~Since I was asked to complete this survey, I hope my thoughts will be considered.

I was serviced by a man named Chong that was very professional. He worked quickly, but not rushed, and did really good quality work. He was polite and courteous as well. Overall the pricing was also very fair and typical for the area so no complaints. & the salon took extra caution due to the virus and everything was orderly and clean.

First timer: $212 for 2 pedicures, 1 manicure and acrylic full set. Apparently the color we picked which was chrome made the bill this high. No one said it was extra, just that it was no chip. Had I known it would have been this much i wouldnt have gotten that color. Also there was a space between my nails and the acrylic which means when water gets in between there my nail would turn brown or if I hit the nail on something it would pull back and off my natural nail which is painful. The guy at the front desk with the headset tried to say this was normal and kept trying to go back and forth with me. They eventually fixed 1 nail, but as a first timer it was just bad service. Also, I understand that we need 6 feet of distance between us and others, but they had my little girl on the other side of the wall getting her nails done where I couldnt see or hear her. Who does that? It was a mommy-daughter date for us with matching colors and shes on the other side of the wall. Also, my phone was used by the employees to find the color we asked for as in they physically had my phone in their hand and they did not communicate what was to be done to the nail tech who serviced me so she messed the polish up. Neither me nor my daughter got pedicure flip flops either. We were just told to get up and introduced to a new person. No one went over the price with me while I was getting my pedicure either when I asked for just the basic package and what the total would be. The 2 ladies (one whose birthday was today) just chatted among themselves in their language. I never spend this much on our nails and toes. EVER! If the service we received was amazing I wouldnt care, but we were treated like a number.

Great service but I wish they spent more time on my actual toes vs the massage itself. I had to re-file one of my toes and she left paint on the side. Oh and they charge a service fee no matter if it’s card or cash. I guess that is their way to secure a tip.

Love this place! They are super clean & polite. I always get the Eucalyptus & Spearmint Pedicure-it includes a hot stone massage & paraffin wax wrap. I always request Helena or Tina, but on days they are not available I’m never disappointed. Henry gives great foot massages. Highly recommended if you’re looking to treat yourself.

Service was great. They made me feel very welcomed. Didnt have to wait, took me in as soon as got there. The only thing was at the end the price was a little too pricey. I asked them the prices when I called but as your there they ask for add ons so that what makes the price shoot up. I would go back.

This place provides a calming environment to get salon services. Ive been a patron there several times for over a year now. I have enjoyed their pedicures because you have for to five options of pedicures services. I upgraded since it was my birthday and I got this great warm neck pillow. Very relaxing. They also gave me 10% off coupon through an email because of their system has your birthday stored. The register even played a birthday song when I signed in which was cool.The only thing I would like more is options with designs. It was very limited. However, they do a great job so I still got my nails done and went to a more trendy place for designs.

First time at Lotus Nails & Spa was 9/11/2020. I received the eucalyptus pedicure with hot stones, spearmint mask, Paraffin Wax, etc. It was a nice, clean place. Decorated very nicely. The pedicure chairs were spa, massage chairs and very comfortable. The sink had a plastic bag lining for cleanliness and protection, which I for one appreciated. My appointment was for 10am. I arrived at least 5 minutes early, and was told to check in and have a seat. Every other seat was blocked for social distancing and everyone wore masks. My technician was very nice and friendly. She clipped my nails, worked on the cuticles, removed the dry skin under my feet, and gave me a warm neck wrap which was a nice, unexpected bonus. The spearmint mask smelled amazing, and loved the hot towel treatment. I looked at my phone and it was a little after 10:35. And she was wrapping up. Mind you, I am supposed to get 55 minutes for just the pedicure. I, of course, didnt want to complain. And I thought, what if they give me a discount for less time. Nope. Before my nails could dry I was walked over to the waxing area. And the polish smeared of course, and I had to get it fixed. I got my eyebrows waxed for the first time ever. An interesting experience. She did a good job, too thin for my taste, which I did ask not to make them too thin. Once the hair is gone theres no fixing it, so why complain? It was a decent job done. All in all, I paid $68 dollars cash and walked out at 10:47. So, definitely not 55 minutes for a pedicure. I would go back if I addressed the time issue. Not for brows. My feet still looked and felt amazing.

There’s a sign on the door advising that an appointment is required. I didn’t know & I was about to walk away when the Host came to the door. He took my temperature (wrist) and I signed in.It’s a beautiful establishment. It has a spa feel. I’ve already booked an appointment for my Mom. It’s her Valentines Day gift. Go. Enjoy.

My eyebrows were done perfect ! I didnt like that the Debit/Credit machine was down. They do have a ATM machine and take Cashapp and Zelle.

These ppl are rude and treat their AA patrons like they’re a problem. They were expensive, condescending, acted annoyed w/me and several other “young” ladies, and rough when handling my hands. I’ve never had such bad service at a nail shop.Also, the guy who did my nails had dirt under his nails as if he hadn’t washed his hands all day. Never again will I patronize this place. We need more ppl if color nail salons. *This is the only place that I’ve be to where no chip actually does CHIP!

I went 2xs once for a full set and a dill in gel nails. My nail broke and there was a fungus under my nail.. removed the rest and 3 nails in the other hand also had a fungus.

Unfortunately my eyebrows at very rush sloppy and not neat had to promp the technician over again that it was too hot. M I was somewhat please with my feet as making a pedicure. So I got names SA charge $2 extra any service thats done $30 under and charged $3 asteroid any service done $30 over As, the manager said due to the pandemic. They do accept debit cards where you can actually put in pin number and a do accept credit and cash inhabit ATM machine

I’ve never really had a salon that I was devoted to. But then I moved to Evergreen Park and had to find something close to home.. Coming here once was all it took. They have a great selection of great services and the place is very nicely decorated. I love how THOROUGH they are 😉 they sure do pay attention to detail.😌 I loveeee the milk & honey pedi, especially after a long day at work.Definitely give them a try. You won’t regret it! 💁🏽‍♀️

I went Sunday August 23rd. I love the security as far as them always keeping the doors locked. Also, the fact that they do temperature checks and social distancing was very well in place. They were very clean, respectful and professional. This was my first time and wont be my last! My Birthday is this Friday and they did a great job! It was a little pricey than what Im used to. But I havent treated myself in a whole year! So it was well deserved!!***Update(08/25/2020): I noticed both my legs are very itchy and broken out in hives from the scrub that was used on my legs.

They over charge for children their prices are not accurate and they do not clean the bowls for pedicures also tried to use already used utensils. There was technician working without a mask as well. Be cautious going there.

Absolutely safe, clean and COVID-19 sanitized. Very professional and friendly! Service is exceptional during a pandemic. You check yourself in electronically and then you go wash your hands.My fill in and pedicure is BEAUTIFUL!!! 1st business I’ve patronized that is COVID-19 ready across the board!!

This nail salon does no do any nail designs which I think is something they just told me. The manager is extremely rude & inconsiderate of the customers time. When I asked to speak with the owner the manager said there is no owner I’m the manager very unprofessional but most of these places are. They have work etiquette when it comes to customers unsatisfied or making a complaint their first reaction is defensive and ignorant

I would say I love this salon. I tried some salon around Lotus Nails & Spa, then I found this. I have had great experiences here. The services are awesome. Everything clean. People here are nice and friendly. I will go there for all my future nail services and will be recommend them to my friends and family.

I love the prompt professional services, I felt it was somewhat rushed I enjoyed it so much I really needed a little more, so I would definitely be back.

We were seen immediately and everything was done professionally and I am very satisfied with how our nails turned out especially for the prices. Everything was cheaper then my precious nail salon. They also offer a wide variety of colors. The place was also very clean and all of the employees were very nice.

My Experience at Lotus was great! They performed at temp check at arrival and everything was thoroughly cleaned and social distancing was at an all time high. Happy they are taking this pandemic as serious as it should be taken. My pedicure and manicure was so relaxing. I wasnt there all day and night either. Keep up the great work Lotus!

Did a no chip manicure that cost $38 Couldve swore the girl told me my eyebrows were $10 and lip $3. Turns out in the end lip was $8. Seva charges $10 for both. Honesty since thats basically what they specialize in you should be able to put 2 and 2 together as to who would do a better job. On top of their high costs they charge $3 for services over $30. Theyre customer service was nice but $59 for a solid color no chip mani and (waxed not even threaded) eyebrows I will pass on.

The bad sticks out more than the good from this experience. Upon walking in, I was told to check in. Even though me and my friend were booked under the same appointment, we were both told to check in individually. The nail technician that I had seemed very nice. But after she began my nails she was slightly rough causing four cuts on four individual fingers. I requested rhinestones for 2 of my fingers and the placement of the rhinestones was nothing of what I asked. The end result of my nails were very nice but with the four cuts on four of my fingers its kind of hard to carry on with day-to-day activities. My friend only got a full gel set with no chip polish and it was $71 and mine was $78. When we asked why it was so much they charged us extra for the length of our nails. After online it said the price for each set would be $38. They charged us $30 extra for the length??? Never going back here again.

Waited patiently with no update on why I watched 5 people serviced that came after me. My fiance was finished with her pedicure and I was still waiting. Never again!

Nice quite and comfortable atmosphere. I have been going to the nail shop since Phase 3 recovery went into effect. I am comfortable with the service because COVID guidelines are being follow. I like the nail technicians too he is hilarious.

I have been to Lotus several times since August of this year. I literally stumbled upon it thinking it was the salon a friend frequents and it wasnt. Nevertheless, I decided to stay and try it out. I have been thoroughly pleased each time. The service is professional and the ambiance is very peaceful. They truly are taking the COVID precautions seriously as Ive witnessed them spraying, wiping down and changing the chair coverings in between each client. Henry, Lisa and Lanny are among my favs! Thank you.

I got no chip polish and pedicure and manicure and a couples days later i see my nails chip why are they chipping and i paid for no chip and my pedicure started to chip as well. They charge too much and there polish chips .

I just wasn’t happy with the result. She cut me and just kept going. Her nail polish application was poor. I actually won’t come back….

Henry, the technician who did my pedicure, was absolutely fantastic, and did an amazing job. I apologize, I didnt get the fingernail technicians name, but he did an amazing job as well. I told them what I wanted, and how I wanted it done, and they exceeded my expectations. I definitely will be returning to this nail salon for future business.

This place is very professional and very clean. Beautiful ambiance and calming surroundings. Every technician had on a mask and a face shield and they cleaned every tool and every surface before you touched it. Very pleasant. They offer a variety of spa services and truly make you feel pampered. Would definitely recommend.

They have great employees they are all so kind today was my first visit and I definitely will be coming Back.

They set my feet in water for 2 minutes and took them out and started doing them. It was a very rushed job and Im displeased with their services.

This was my first pedicure, I enjoyed it and will return at least once a month.

First time at this establishment. Got a classic manicure by Katie on Wednesday, Sept 5th. Its just two days later and most of my nails polish has come completely off (see picture) in one piece. I do not wash dishes, so my hands have not been in water which could cause this. Ill never visit again and will be calling to complain.

Very nice calming even though she hit my toes a couple of times she apologized for it and they gave me and my sister two free bottles of lotion and hand Sanitizer

I went during phase 3 of re-opening. I received a pedicure. I was a walk-in and they basically go by appointment at this time, but said I can wait in the parking lot . It was explained that some people don’t show up and there might be an opening. I gave them my number to call. Maybe about 15-20 minutes later, I was called to come in. They check your temperature before service too. Social distancing is definitely practiced here and they don’t play about wearing a mask inside. A woman tried to come in without one and the person at the front desk immediately asked where was her mask.I was waited on right away. The tech was professional and did a good job. I have been here before and the service was always good. While there are changes because of Covd-19, service was not compromised.

Excellent service wonderful colors great options. I tried the dip on one nail because I wasnt sure how I would like it but it turned out awesome! I love the magnet polish it looks!
