Please please please BLACK PEOPLE... stop using this place. They DO NOT appreciate us. They make you wait hours, poor service, rude as hell and act like we need them. More than they need us. If we support more Black busineses we will uplift our community. This shop is cheap & a JOKE. They talk so so bad about us in their language, yet we keep going. Do not support rhis place...

The manager becomes nasty & rude when you have a compliant no matter how nice you explain it. Their turnover rate is high. Most of the nail techs barely speak English. You can tell that most of the nail techs are newly recently trained.I stopped going there in 2019.

Great nail detail n fast service

My wife and I used to go to this place all the time. We loved it. We’d drive an hour just to come, especially for the perfect service. We came here again today for the first time in a really long time, and I can actually say I absolutely dislike this place now.All new employees who are extremely rude and not attentive. When I pay for a pedicure, I want them to scrub my feet well, the guy that did it, scrubbed two seconds, needless to say, my feet are still rough all over! Super upset. My pedicure probably lasted 15 minutes... On top of that when he told us to take a seat, he walked off and expected us to find where there was water in a pedicure chair. He didn’t take his time at all. I’m super disappointedMy gel manicure was okay. He didn’t file them evenly which really bothers me. All in all, I will not be coming back here again. What used to be my favorite place is no longer my favorite place. Though ChiChi will always have a place in my heart, I will not be coming back here again.Side note, there was a female getting a manicure next to me, and there was a specific design she wanted. But when the guy told her how much it would be, she said, “no that’s okay, I’ll just get a regular manicure”. But he wouldn’t take no for an answer. He kept insisting he do it, saying “you should do it. It’s nice design”. This poor girl had to repeat “no” about 20 times. I could tell she was uncomfortable and not happy.

I love this nail shop. It is a little pricey, but worth it. Im always greeted, my nail tech Tony hasnt disappointed me yet. I also get my eyebrows done and they always look good. Many of the techs in there dont really talk much, but its not an indication of rudeness to me, I go there for their services only. I am a happy customer and encourage at least 1 visit to see for yourself.

Yesterday was my last visit to this salon. I obviously had a new nail technician who clearly needed more training. I received poor pedicure followed by a sloppy nail polish job. The owner observed this and said nothing. My toe nails were shaped at a angle and I had to correct the shape. The nail tech had black polish on her hands which ended up on my feet. As nice as the nail tech was trying to be she needs more training and her boss shouldnt sit and watch her do a sloppy job and say nothing or offer to guide her correctly. Poor management!!! I went down the street to Generation Salon were it was a friendlier environment and I received a proper pedicure and manicure. The money I wasted in 3D the nail tech should get more training with.

Prices are fair; more on the low side. First time here and location is nice, however I was left with a bunch of glue on my fingers and shavings on the side. Also, I brought my own polish and the tech kept suggesting it was one of theirs.

Me and daughters went to 3D nails today. My manicurist Tina is the best. I mean this woman has an eye for making nails look great and perfect. She gave me the perfect no chip French manicure. Will not go to anyone else. Thx Tina!!!!!

To all the future customers do not waste your time nor money. You will be harassed and bullied on what services they feel you need. I visited the salon on Friday 11/13/15 for a manicure, I was given a 15 min lecture on why I was wrong for getting a regular manicure and needed to get a no chip manicure. I also witnessed other patrons being talked into getting extra services that they were not interested in. Now I get my nails done quite often as I am well aware that no chip is better in visual and lasting potential. My intention was to get a regular manicure that would last at least a week. I have also been to other salons where I received a regular manicure and it lasted more than 12 hours. I was highly disappointed in the services I received. The quality of my manicure was poor. The polish was chipped the following morning. The day after I went into the salon it looked as though my manicure was two weeks old. Dont waste your time!!!!

Me and my friend went to the salon for some acrylics. As soon as we walked in we were greeted and asked what we wanted andWhen we told them we were asked to go pick out a color if I’m being honest I felt rushed to pick my color. I was seated first and my friend had to just sit there I understand that they had other costumers but there were many able bodies to help and at least get her seated. When she sat down a woman was helping her and the man who was helping me the they switched off between the 2 of us. The man used some sort of tool on my nails and got too close to my skin and my finger started bleeding it really stung and he just put some random liquid on my finger to make it sting more and they didn’t even use the stuff to make it stop bleeding. To be honest i don’t know what he used. The woman was working on my friends nails told her to go wash her hands and while she was gone the man and the woman switched off again the woman was quite aggressive with my hands and she also mumbled a lot. The man was doing my nails and just got up and helped someone else while still working with me. It’s an hour later after i got my nails done and my finger still stings because they didn’t properly take care of it. My friend had gotten a dip a few weeks before and still had it on she asked to get the dip off and get acrylics on. I don’t know what they did they kept her dip on and just painted over it and didn’t give her what she asked for. She still had to pay for acrylics even though that’s not what she got. I’m being generous giving them 2 starts they only deserve 1. My sister has gone there before to get her eyebrows waxed and they make her wait 20-30 minutes before she can get them waxed. Once she was scared to get them waxed so i held her hand. The woman told me to let go of her and was honestly quite rude to us. #costumerlost

I have been there thrice, my first and third visit there were amazing. My second time there was annoying, the attendant didnt do very well;his service was poor.I must confess, they very good with the Eyebrows waxing.

Im sitting in the salon now. No one greeted me or asked me what services I need today. I just sign my name on the book and check off what services I need. Today I just want my eyebrows waxed. The wait is too long for anything else. After 5 minutes of waiting I ask how long for eyebrow waxing and Im told it will take 15 minutes. This is unacceptable. They only have one person on a busy Saturday to provide this service. Im not coming back after today.

I love this nail shop, I have been going here for 3 years and they are the best. Great customer service, you are treated with care and they try their best to get you serviced quickly when theres a lot of last minute people. ViVi and her husband Anthony work hard and they have great employees, if you have a issue they take care of it because they believe in the customer is always right. I have brought a lot of people to this nail shop and they also continue to come.

DO NOT COME HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE! They have the absolute worst customer service ever, and their gel nails are horrendous. They are extremely thick, wide, and they rush you. If you have any complaints, they dont care. They specifically told me that they dont care about what the customer wants. There is a lady there with glasses who also does eyebrows, and she does not know how to do eyebrows. You will be extremely disappointed.Each time I went there, they cut my skin from doing a careless job and my fingers bled. No apologies either time. They are extremely unsanitary and rude. I would highly recommend going somewhere else.

Im extremely picky when it comes to my nails and toes, so I was hesitate about trying this spot. Now I love this nail salon only because of my nail technician Henry. If Henry isnt there I wont let anyone perform any services. You have to let Henry take care of you and youll be satisfied.

On 1/24/2019 Thursday afternoon around 2:45 pm l walking in this salon and the the overall look of the salon was professional and presentable. I was greeted at the door and asked what services l needed. I told the technician dip nail set and l also told her l needed to soak off my old set. She took me right away to soak my old set off. After that l was given a back manicure before my dip services, which l’ve never experienced any shop on the southside to do this. I was pleased. Felt like my pinky finger on my right hand could’ve been coated better but still decent services for $40. My overall experience at this establishment was cool. I’ll see you guys again, thanks 😘

Use to go here and its your typical chop shop.... Forcing services (Gel nails) on you after youve told them no numerous times. Cutting your cuticles.. praying you dont get an infection.

Very Rude! Awhile ago I got my no chip and pedicure done - it was very sloppy so I went back, they redid everything but very uncofrtatable because i know they were talking about me in their language! Inernt back a couple more times and still felt they same way! Today I walked in they asked what I wanted and told them and the owner said something and everyone started laughing! I walked out and went down the street to Generation Nails and they were super nice and Calvin did a great job! Cleaner too!

Slow, ..not enough people to work on you, ..but plenty of stations! Took tooooo long, ...wont be back. Quality of work was ok. Not a large selection of polishes to choose from either.

I was not happy at all. The young man giving me the fill-in did fine. I had chosen a nice spring design 2 help my mood Through The Long Winter season here in Chicago. Unfortunately the lady that did my nails did a horrible terrible childlike rendition of what I chose. When I went back the gentleman at the front desk told me that I could only get 50% of what I wanted because I chose a short nail. How ridiculous! The lady that did my nails yelled across the shop at me insisting that she did a good job. I am still ticked off! I only get my nails done a few times a year, when I do get them done again it wont be there. The gentleman at the front wanted to give me $10 back and to keep the horrible design on my nails. I posted pictures of the horrible job that was done. And the spring colored design I was asking for. And whatever happened to doing the cuticles and the full manicure treatment. Now I remember why I dont get my nails done often

They almost act like you didnt walk in. I have had my name skipped over after waiting for an hour. This will be my last visit. The nail tech gave me a very sloppy no chip due to a dried out bottle. Because it was late and they were closing I told them I would have to come back. When I returned the woman( owners wife) treated me very unkind and consistently rolled her eyes after I reminded her that this was a do over and no payment was required. I am very unhappy and will not return. Rude!!!

I just left the location on 98th S. Western. I requested Teresa who I typically let do my nails. They stated that Teresa is not there. All of the previous staff members were great at their job.It has been about 2.5 weeks since Ive had my nails done. Obviously they are under new management or staff....but whoever is there is not worth it. I needed to get fake nails remove an the guy in the first chair just took my whole, yes, whole nail off and it started bleeding. He prompt to spray acetone on it because he did want the other customers to fret. I will never, ever go back there. I DONT EVEN KNOW WHAT TO DO ABOUT THIS NAIL. I have a band aid on as I type.

UNPROFESSIONAL....I went to get a fill in at 12 noon and when it was finally my turn, the tech put someone in front of me. She told me to have a seat in the chair and she will be right with me. Then she called another lady name who came in 30 minutes after me whom I conversated with while waiting. No, she didnt have an appointment. I waited for a tech after my name was called to have a seat in the chair for another 15 minutes. I looked at the tech who spoke with me amd she stated again, I will be right there. OH NO....NEVER WOULD YOU GET A DIME OF MY MONEY!!! I have been there only once and the first time all I got was a full set ONLY. I was there for almost 3 hours just for nails. I thought it was just crowded because it was Saturday and maybe under staff. They are just slow and too busy talking to each others.

So for the most part, Ive been pleased with the service that I received. On the last 2 occasions Ive dealt with a very rude lady at the location to the point Im reporting her to the Better Business Bureau.

Some of the people working there have very bad attitudes and act as if they are doing you a favor. And the people in charge dont care. They have lost my business.

For starters I made an appointment the day before so that I wouldnt sit there 5 hours because their service already takes the longest time ever, but anyway he confirmed that I was in I get there and he has no recollection of the appointment and wants me to wait because their are 4 or 5 people ahead of me smh. I explained to him that I couldnt and proceed to make a new appointment for 3 that same day, when I return at 3:00 its the same thing, now I want to act a fool but I refrain as I not be returning to this Nail Salon ever after today and I have been coming here exclusively for two years now smh. This is the worst service I have ever received from a place that is supposed to be know for such Im extremely frustrated.

I will never return to this shop, the female manager is rude and a liar, she is not worthy of my hard earned money, one disgusting display of unprofessionalism is enough for me to stop spending my money hete. If you decide to come here, please dont ask for almond shaped nails, and dont sit with the older, balding gentlemen in the middle row. Please he tried to overcharge me and my nails were very misshapened.

The best person that can really do pedi and mani is RUM!!!!! He really gets in the nooks and cranny with you feet....toenails! I will wait for him and him only to do my pedi and mani. If I go in on a day hes not available......I will choose another if its a must or come back.....mainly come back for RUM!!!!!!

She questions where you got it, touches without asking, while talking about you in another language to her coworkers. She even has tried on customers shoes and coats/jackets without asking. I didnt know paying a business to wash and polish my toes, and/or fingernails entitled you to my attire as well. I went to get a fill,repair, & polish change on my toes. The tech put my repaired nail on crooked then proceeded to repaint my toes without completely removing all the old polish. I told him to just stop & asked for my money back for my toes. He got an attitude & snatched the toe spacer off my foot.
