Just watched the staff kick a lady and her autistic son out. Rather than use empathy and patience, they refused service and stated they didnt want the kid to break anything. Would rather kick them out than take the 10 extra minutes to help a customer. In a time where we are all struggling, we gotta help each other out. When a business takes the low road, they are not here to provide a service to a community. The staff/owners would benefit from classes on how to interact with customers who need a little extra help.
I do a lot of UPS shipping for my business and have shipped through this store several times. However, I went in today to drop off a USPS prepaid package and they said it had to go directly USPS. This isn’t true. Very disappointing they wouldn’t take. I’ll have to go back to my other mailing store down the street who will happily take my prepaid USPS packages on occasion. I will also take all my UPS shipping to this competitor down the street.
I have been using them for many years now, I have mailbox here and I would like say really nice things about this location but its getting harder and harder. For starters its a little more expensive than other alternatives but Im the type that believes you get what you pay for, customer service and all of that. They provide all the services that they they say they do but in a very penny pinching kinda way. I also understand that they they are running a business and to make money too.Normally I pop in a few times a month to check my mailbox but im currently waiting for an important piece of mail that I was sure would be there by now so I popped in Saturday and it wasnt there 😔. What drove me the write this review today was because I am home right now working remotely and getting time to head out during the day can be difficult at times so I give them a quick phone call to see if any new mail has come and I was told that they dont do that, I get it...Just seems like these little things would go a long way for a business like this especially when the mailboxes are right there 🤷♂️
I think this store is the best. I first got a box because of a rash of porch thefts, but I stay for good service and friendly staff. They know my name....kind of like Cheers.
Rob & Caroline are incredible to work with. They always go the extra mile and are quick to respond. Highly knowledgeable about anything print related and have helped me immensely over the years. I would highly recommend!
Superfast service. Friendly staff
I have used this location for drop offs both USPS and UPS a handful of times in the past. They used to take USPS but charged a small fee for each package - something I have never encountered at other postal stores. They explained the business reasons why, so I begrudgingly paid them to ship the parcels I had already paid to ship via online click and ship.Today I came by with a prepaid UPS package that is roughly 32x22x4 and they refused to take it due to its size.I haven’t ever encountered another small business less willing to do business than this one. They same like nice enough people, but they do not seem to view prepaid customers as their customers.
Excellent Service! Best prices and Excellent work! I wouldnt use anyone else!Tara SilicioWindermere Real Estate
They won’t take prepaid labels (Amazon return) packages unless you “pay them”. Don’t bother, just go straight to UPS
Excellence in service, Excellence in quality of detail & workmanship! In my business thats important! so all my important printing is done here! and I work in North Seattle, its worth the trip.. I am so glad Rob & Caroline were referred to mea few years ago!
It was fine. But I felt pretty embarrassed when both employees made negative comments towards my kids behavior, which I’ll admit wasn’t stellar but there were no other customers in there, my baby was screaming and I really needed a form notarized related to my Mom’s death. A little kindness would have gone a long ways for me in that moment but there was no kindness. But my form did get notarized and that’s what I went there for, so it got the job done. I would just recommend not lugging your 3 kids in there if you can avoid it (which I obviously couldn’t).
We have a mailbox as my husband and I travel for his job, so we are out of town a month at a time. We have had packages arrive before we get back and they charge us for keeping them there. They have charged us 80 dollars and a 100 dollars before. I am only staying for a little more as i will be moving. I would not use them. Also they are grumpy. If i could give a zero star I would.May 15, 2020We have been on the front lines delivery necessary supples for the 48 states. They sent an email and they said they would hold them for as they knew we wouldn’t be back. Well they did but charges us 108.00 oh but she could have charged us 200.00. I do not recommend this place ever -ever
If I could give zero stars, I would. If you want your package delivered safely, take the time and drop it off at the right place, not a 3rd party. They lost my package and didn’t even care to help me since it never got scanned, couldn’t even get declared value insurance. Terrible customer service, will never come here again!
The Lady would not let me ship my box through them and told me to do so elsewhere.
The gentleman wanted to charge extra $5 for UPS drop off because it is his busy season. Bad service and work ethic. Don’t waste your time.
This place is awesome. Ive never had to wait in line, and the staff is so friendly. Doing my mailing here saves me a long drive to the Mill Creek PO, and an even longer wait in line there.
Rob and Caroline have been my go-to shop for all of my printing. As a new author, I have asked them to print drafts of my book many times. Without fail, they have the draft ready in less time then it would take me to print it out at home and much less expensive.I have asked them to help with visual aids for several speeches I have given and they have always made me look like a professional speaker. When I needed multiple handouts for a training session, Rod and Caroline offered great suggestions and, again, made me look like a professional speaker.I recommend them highly.
Discriminatory against people with medical conditions. Used to be a regular customer will no longer be using their service
Best service, the owners are doing so well to serve you that they had the good fortune to hire some great employees, Christmas shipping is always a pleasure. They greet me by name and even remember what services I generally use. Love the!
Best customer service ever. It is so nice to be able to talk face to face to someone and have them help you design a flyer for a customer or meet whatever need I may have at the time. Super friendly, courteous, and great pricing! I have used Postal Annex for the last 2 years for my real estate business and wouldnt think of going anywhere else!
I have been going here for several years now and have always had exceptional service.
This location always goes above and beyond with my orders. They take the time to make sure everything I order looks perfect for my clients.
I have 11x17 posters printed here every month for church activities. Caroline is super friendly and always has them ready when I come in. Its so easy to email the PDFs to her. The quality is outstanding and the price is right!
Rude associates! I didnt get the guys name that freaked out on me but he just had the worst attitude. It wasnt even busy. I would not recommend coming here at all!
Went to postal annex today, try to drop off packages for the UPS after I brought the packages in, lady at the counter told me that they were just too big to be stored there so she told me to repackage them and put them back in my car, very poor customer service.
Shipping UPS and FEDEX I have had nothing but great experiences. USPS is priority only so expect to pay a bit more if you go that route. They will pack your items for you (small charge) and have all the shipping things you might need.
Ive been using these guys for about 5 years, they are great! I dont know what the negative reviews are all about, this couple is courteous, fast, and on point. Never had an issue with them and you wont either.
I had THE WORST experience at Postal Annex+. I got there with an open box with my own packaging & tape. The guy rudely took my box, said he would package it bc he does it “all day” He wanted to charge me $1.50 to package it, which isn’t much but I told him I could do it. He said I couldn’t use the counter so i told him I’d package it on the floor. He said i couldn’t use the floor either. He said I’d have to go outside and do it. I will NEVER go there again!
Wont take prepaid packages, even though I had dropped off multiple times! As soon as the lady saw I had prepaid packages she immediately told me no and to drop them off at the post office. I WAS about to buy my stamps there after dropping off my packages, but thanks, Ill go somewhere else where my business is wanted.
I have been working with Rob and Caroline for years. Hands down great service and great products. From printing, to shipping this is my go to place for consistent quality products and service.
My go to place to mail.No lines like Post Office plus nice folks too.A1
I can not give a negative star so I will give a one star(even that is considered generous). They would only take a pre stamp USPS with a 1.50 charge. The young guy(maybe the owners nephew or son, I dont know) in there was really RUDE(in caps) for emphasis. I stated that we already paid and I am not paying any more. For the owners benefit:BUSINESS 101: A. Sometimes you have to do things at cost(really nothing out of their pocket with only time dealing with customers) to build a business or maintain one. I know since I have many businesses and that is what I do(my businesses are still making money and growing by the way). BUSINESS 101: B: If an action like this one is driving customers away, then STOP. Bad reviews and bad customer relations equals no sales now and in the future.
Its now $1.50 to drop off a pre-paid UPS box, with the added bonus of a snotty attitude delivered by the man-bun wearing kid at the counter. We get it! Its too much work to accept UPS drop-offs! But does the staff have to be rude and disdainful? Over the years, Ive endured off-putting attitudes and overcharged for shipping at this place, so this is the last straw. Not going to darken their doorway ever again.
Wow this place is Owned buy Satans minions. A true Athiast or Satans minion, They dont deserve to survive as a business, they have no community spirit and no humanity. Choose a servicer that has heart, dont support people or businesses like this, they are the killers of the American spirit
I have to recommend this postal annex to anyone who needs Great Mail service and help with UPS ! I dont know the reason why people Hate them but they have a great New Store. Friendly service Great prices and Local too !! Next to Fred Meyers also and When the holidays come i take my shipping to them. Hats off to PostalAnnex+ !!!!!!!!
I received great service here and will return for more shipping needs
I went there to notarize something. The service was swift and professional.
I have been there twice and both times they really helped me pack up what I was sending quite nicely. Seems like they care about it arriving safely.
Cant give negative stars, thats the only reason its one. Rude, refused to take a package directed to be delivered there by Amazon. Wouldnt take it because, it looked heavy because two of us carried it in. It was not, but it was easier to carry through non easy open doors. Threw a card on the box and told me to take it elsewhere, and went back to counting his register. Probably the worst customer service Ive ever received outside of a car dealership. AVOID.
If you want for package lost and nobody giving a rip, this is the place to make that happen.
Absolutely the worst possible service anywhere you could have. They are rude and do not care about you as a customer after you give them your money. GO ANYWHERE ELSE BUT HERE!!!!!
Been using these guys for years, love love love
I went in looking to ship two large items. One I had already boxed, the other I needed boxed. I first spoke qith a lady who was very nice and seemed very willing to help me. I showed her the items and she gavw me an outrageous price quote. When we went back in the store she transferred me to a gentlemen. As soon as I started talking to him I could already tell he did not want to help me. He said it would cost even more then what the lady had already quoted me. He also said the cardboard packaging I was using would not work because it had already been used for shipping once before, even though it was in perfect condition. He kept saying, cardboard loses fifty percent of its life everytime its shipped. He was extremely rude and no help what so ever. I went to the ups store and they had me on my way in less then ten minutes. This place needs some serious personnel change.
The good reviews for this site all read the same and feel forced. The staff has been rude to me on multiple occasions, ruling out the idea of someone having a bad day. They are in a convenient location for me to drop some of my return UPS shipments. My last interaction with them was 2 days ago. I walked in the door with a package I was told as soon as she saw the pre printed return label that the package was too big and too heavy for their UPS driver. Interesting. There is nothing in this world that I hate more than being lied too.So I pushed the issue a little bit, really too big for your UPS driver? Yep and too heavy. She never weighed the item, the item was just shy of 25 lbs. Rob and Caroline, really now their stuff. Yeah, sure do. Like exactly how much something weighs without even weighing it.On exit, I called UPS to let them know of my experience with this drop location. So here is the history of this particular too big and too heavy package. The Box was shipped from Portland to a UPS store location a couple of miles away from this site. Who had no problem with this shipment and when I dropped it back off, also had no problem with the size and weight of the package and they actually weighed it. I find this interesting because the UPS stores are also independently owned and operated. Just like the Postal Annex. Ruling out the notion of different rules for different locations. Now, too big too heavy for the driver. NOT TRUE!A quick search of the UPS careers website says...Driver and driver helper job description - This is a physical, fast-paced, outdoor position that involves continual lifting, lowering and carrying packages that typically weigh 25 - 35 lbs. and may weigh up to 70 lbs.SO - My package that was under 25 lbs was not too big nor too heavy for the driver.I have over 20 years of sales and customer service experience, janitorial, small business owner, equipment and finance sales, wholesale supply, residential and commercial carpet cleaning and painting. Lots of different styles of customers and various customer needs in 20 years.Something I learned at very young age, NEVER LIE TO THE CUSTOMER! You will loose all creditably, regardless of the field you find yourself in. Never lie to the customer.I would never expect my grandma to wrestle a 25 lb package, maybe instead of being dishonest with a customer you could simply request they move the package to a spot convenient for you.I would have been happy to help you in anyway possible, then again customer service is in my nature.
The worst customer service I ever had! and the grumpy old man is a sick a$$ hole. that would tell you something....
Not friendly and very pricy!
NEGATIVE 10 STAR REVIEW!!! My adult daughter just returned from an experience at Postal Annex that CANNOT go unreported. Let me begin by stating that she has considerable professional customer service experience, but aside from that, shes an exceptionally friendly, warm, personable, and patient individual. True, I am her mother, but anyone she knows personally or professional would concur. As a side note, I also have professional customer service experience, so together we are trustworthy authorities on this subject. This afternoon, she visited this establishment to drop off a box with a pre-paid label. This is a service they offer, although with GREAT DISDAIN. Apparently she arrived, was standing near another customer, and noticed the drop box. To be sure that this was the correct destination (to avoid any unnecessary work for the owners) she politely asked if that was the location so she could leave it there and not require any further attention. She thought the woman behind the counter didnt hear her, so she politely asked again. At this point, this horrible woman slammed her hands on the counter and screamed at my daughter. In shock, she left. After another errand, she decided to return and speak to management with a complaint. This is not her style, and I believe she was so compelled to by the appalling treatment she received. Im proud of her for standing up for whats right. Her return visit was even worse! Both the owners (husband and wife) then verbally attacked my daughter, saying youre the rude customer from before, your parents didnt raise you right (OK NOW, ARE YOU KIDDING ME?), that she was nothing more than a freeloader for wanting to drop off a package, that she has no life, cant read and that you think youre better than everyone else, and finally, she has no manners and they didnt want her business. THIS IS INTOLERABLE!!!!!!!! We have now learned that the owners names are Rob and Caroline Elliott. My son-in-law then went to speak with the owners on his way home from work to calmly determine the validity of these events. They did NOT deny their insults, nor defend them...in fact, they confirmed many of these comments. In addition, they stated that they deliberately ignore customers if they miss reading their sign. To my son-in-laws credit, he remained calm and took notes of his encounter. Rob told him that should he pursue a negative review of their establishment or other forms of negative feedback, that he should be afraid that the corporation (he is a franchise owner) of Postal Annex would sue him because they have good lawyers and Rob writes them the checks. He then asked him to leave or they were going to call the police. They should not be in the business of running a business. They are insufferable, harassing customers, and based on the similar one-star Yelp reviews, consistently insane. You will notice that this treatment of their customers is a PATTERN. We will not let this matter rest and will pursue any means to shut them down. PLEASE DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICES. Thank you for your time.
I would strongly recommend that everyone avoid this place at all costs. The owner told me all parking west of his store was for employees only both of them. They. need the entire lot. Avoid this troll at all costs.
Do you do passport photos? Why yes we do. When I get there, oh we dont do babies. Youll need to go to a professional photographer. Really you cant just have me prop him up and you take a picture like Mill Creek city hall?
Wont simply tape a box shut for shipping.
Very rude for no reason at all.
Rude! Rude! Rude! I went into to buy packaging supplies and was treated rudely from the moment I walked in with the question Youre not wanting to ship that, are you? They both argued with me and were extremely rude during my entire time there, which thankfully was only 5 minutes. Horrible customer service and will never go there again, I dont recommend it!
Worst customer service
$2 just to print a shipping label and $1.50 just for dropping off a package. Go somewhere else.
Doesnt want to take parcels that are already stamped because they dont get any revenue.
The only place in my neighborhood to send a package UPS or FedEx
Rude staff and now charge handling fee for prepaid packages.
So God damn rude.
They are awesome!
Friendly and local.
