I called and set up an appointment within 1.5 hrs of closing and they took me in! I couldnt find the door as MAPS wasnt exactly right.I called and no answer. They called me right back and helped me get to the door. I was greeted with a smile and felt very welcome.The astonishment is clean and one of the nicest nail salons Ive visited.I just wanted a simple pedicure. The prices seemed very reasonable.I will be coming back for a color change for sure!

I VERY RARELY get manicures, but thought I would splurge for a weekend wedding and was excited for my visit. Sadly, I don’t know if the nail polish will still be on my fingers for the special occasion. I am so disappointed in the manicure I got last night (9/23/21) - - it is really bad (like worse that if I did it at home myself). The polish was old(?), thick, goopy and used even after I expressed concern that it might not dry (as the very lumpy 2nd coat was being hastily applied). The finish is VERY uneven, lumpy, just really, REALLY bad. The pedicure was fine (neither good nor bad). Sadly, I will not go back and would strongly suggest avoiding a manicure by Julie at French Nails & Spa**UPDATE**Pleased to report that I was welcomed back, and the new polish is much better! I’ve been coming to get my nails done here since I was 8, I always love their amazing service and kind workers. Today I got my nails done by Tim he did a beautiful job and they’re the perfect shape and length! My mom also went and got her nails done by Sara and she loves them. Always so friendly and provide top quality would highly recommend!

Honestly pretty upset about the nails I got. My sister recommended this place to me and the pictures online made them look like they would be amazing at nails but I’m very disappointed. They are really uneven, wide, and just not the shape I wanted.

I have lived in Eugene for three years and have seriously struggled to find a consistent and reliable nail salon. I had a photo of exactly what I wanted and went in to schedule an appointment, showed them the photo and asked if there was someone who could do the design I wanted. They set me up with an appointment with Tim and I could not be more blown away with how amazing my nails turned out. He did EXACTLY what I asked for and even made it look BETTER. Three years of not being happy with my nails and now this will be my go to nail salon, always with Tim as he did an AMAZING job!!

I went to this place for the first time and saw Lynne, she said she could do ombré nails, with the glitter I wanted I showed her a pic and all, they turned out like this, I didnt fuss because I’m like that, i just want to let people know beware when asking for ombré I wanted something like the second pic

1st time in and Tim did an amazing job bringing my request to life.

So relaxing, super clean, really nice work, and the signature pedicure was just what I needed! Definitely coming back!

The staff was very friendly. However I paid about $50 for a fill on my acrylics and I thought it was a bit high but I was missing one that fell off the day previously so I figured it was fine. Within 24 hours the same one fell off and I called to try and get it fixed. Although they were doing their best to get me in, it didn’t work out with my schedule as it was a busy weekend. Typically that would have been fine but then within the next day after literally over half of them came off and it was not worth it. A pretty big waste of money and I’m very disappointed.

Mediocre at best. My nail tech was persistent that gel top coat would be better than SNS top coat. Within 3 days it was peeling off. I’ve been getting SNS for over a year and I’ve never had a nail break off...these are my natural nails. No tips added. The staff is kind. But my sister’s nails were awful! They ended up refunding her. Then mine didn’t last more than a week. Just a bad experience. I was on vacation...so have to pay again for my nails to get done now that I’m home. I wouldn’t recommend this nail salon.

Thank the lord for Tammy! That woman has a healing touch. And furthermore she’s a perfectionist with a gentle hand. Always leave with a delicate, flawless manicure. I’ve tried a few different highly rated places in Eugene and had horrendous experiences at all, but never once at French Nails.

Came here based on the good reviews and rating. They were nice, but this is one of the worst gel manicures I’ve ever gotten. Not even/fully coated. Weird matte finish. Waste of $40.

My nail tech, Lynn, was wonderful! I had an old set of acrylics Id acquired at another salon removed - it took much longer than expected due to the previous techs work, but Lynn was incredibly patient and courteous despite the frustration of fixing somebody elses work. She then applied a fresh set, and WOW. Her work is precise, perfect down to the tiniest details, and you can tell that she really cares about the end product.The salon itself is clean and quiet, polish selection is large, and pricing is more than fair.Would definitely recommend this salon for acrylics.

Very relaxing. More relaxing than i was anticipating. I had a hard week at work and my troubles ran away for the morning. They ran out of orange juice for the mimosa and ran to the store for me, very thoughtful. Definitely will be coming back.

So they got me in real quick same day which is why the 2nd star.But. The nails are not evenly cut forth coffin look also felt really rushed.The colors are pretty but my nails 💅😩😫are already lifting up and its been only 2 days of having them.The nails have bumps in them from uneven.It was supposed to be light purple to dark purple ombre and I got just the regular pink instead with a purple.So he did 3 fingers with bling and it was only supposed to be 2 with bling but it was to late cuz he already started the 3rd 1. So I hot charged for that. When clearly I had the pic up on my phone for him to look at.Nails are super thick.I just want to get a refund and have these removed.Cuz now with them lifting it is hurting my natural nails.It was Tim I believe and it was on the 3rd.

The artist who worked on my nails used his bare fingernail to push back my cuticles. The work station wasnt clean and they still had me put my hands on it. I had to change my design because they didnt have the right colors and couldnt really do it right. I have to go get them fixed elsewhere because they are lumpy and misshapen.

First, the appointment I had was not at this salon - this is entirely my fault. I got confused and thought the salon I booked was this one - my mistake. I didnt know what i wanted, i had pictures ready to show the clinician, but I felt rushed. I chose the dip, but the color I chose turned out the color wasnt available. So the color I had to choose was really ugly because there were no other colors left similiar to the one I wanted. However the caucasian technician I had was not welcoming whatsoever. He was rushed, treated my hands roughly, and I did not feel comfortable with him whatsoever. I could totally see that he just wanted to be done. He didnt even ask me if I wanted to add length to my nails. You can never make your client feel like that. When I found out the dip color was wrong, he gave me to choose more choices but he should have asked me what exactly am I looking for. He should have been attentive and attuned to what I really wanted, which was a baby pinkish white color. Therefore, I would have been able to change the nail service in order to get the color I wanted, but no. instead I got an ugly natural color that looked just like my nails. But what I disliked the most was the technicians customer service. You should make your client feel like they are welcomed and be sweet with them in order for them to come back. I like this salon, just not this technician. Please, manager, I hope you train your technicians to have a good customer service and know how to treat the customer. After I was done, I immeditaely went to the salon i originally booked to fix my nails because they were so ugly. The techinician at the other salon I went to really listened to what I wanted, gave me options of what I could choose from to make my nails look prettier, and told me if I didnt like them to tell him right away.

Loved this place. They were nice and sweet. My nails turned out good besides two. I ended up with nail polish drip and it peeled off. Didnt notice until I left.

There was one guy working there that was very friendly, talkative, & knew what he was doing. The other employees there that day hardly spoke at all. I made reservations for three people, all to be done at the same time. The receptionist had one of our appointments scheduled 30 minutes apart. She apologized said that she would fix the mix up, but she did not. That did not make for a very good mothers day when 1 of her 2 daughters was left out. Had I had known she was not going to fix this. I would have let my girls go before me. I felt so bad.

The last two times I have gone my nails have looked horrible & thick I have had to file the nails myself to try to fix the ugly shapes they’ve given me & the nails have fallen off within a week & a half. I’ve never had that problem anywhere else will not be coming back

I had gone to a different salon to get a full set of acrylic nails. I left really disappointed with the end result. When it came time for a fill I went to French Nails. Lilly was the technician, and when she was done, I was extremelyimpressed by the job she had done! I have continued to go back to her for the past 6 months, and will continue to go back to her! I love my nails EVERY time I leave.

My first time in this salon and the first one ive gone to sense i moved to the area, i was a walk in and was quickly taken care of and on a busy day! Also was talked into upgrading the manicure i came in for. Will definetely recommend and will continue to come here. Thank you Tim!

Daughter and I went on Saturday first time and chose this place because of the reviews. We just wanted simple manicures, the woman who did my nails keept pushing gel over and over again saying it lasts for 2 weeks. Well less then 2 days later the gel is already chipping off one of my nails. Perhaps this is because she just nail clipped all my nails and then didnt shape them. I would not recommend this place, atleast not the woman who did my nails. It pains me that we paid $58

I wasnt able to get an appointment for a fill and a pedicure at City Nails so they recommended Cherie Ann at French Nails. I called, got an appointment with her for both. Im so GLAD I did!! She is AMAZING, PERSONABLE and INCREDIBLY SWEET!!!! And she does a very thorough job!!!

Great place to get your nails done! The lady who did my nails name was either lee or ling I don’t remember but she takes her time and makes sure your cuticles are trimmed and my acrylics look amazing. Shape and file is exactly how it’s suppose to be so ask for her.

I found French nails 15 years ago when I moved to Eugene. They have always provided excellent customer service and friendly staff. I’m always made to feel relaxed and cared for here. They take good care of their customers.

I and my husband come to see Tammy and Lena for pedicures for over 10 years. It’s good to have those senior technicians stay around. We feel comfortable for what they are doing. We’ll continue coming there

Took my daughter here for her first experience because of the good ratings. So disappointed! Will never go back. They charged me for things they didnt do. Didnt do her nails or mine how we wanted. The heater they had me put my hands in front of was so hot my nails hurt extremely bad. None of my nails are even at all and both mine and my daughters were done extremely sloppy. So upset.

Starting up 6 years ago my mom and I have been trying to find a nail salon that does an amazing job and we haven’t found a place that is the BEST, up until now. I found this place online and wasn’t referred by anyone so I was a bit worried. When I got here I was introduced to Brandon and he was absolutely amazing! I’ve never seen someone take so much pride in their nails. I knew from the beginning that this would be the best experience I’d ever have! My nails aren’t thick, my fingers didn’t get little cuts from the person being too rough and he tried something different (this scared me at first, but turns out I was too quick to judge) which made my nails turn out way better than I pictured. Brandon is truly a professional and knows what he is doing! I high recommend. These are the BEST nails I have ever gotten.

If I could give zero stars I would. Our manicures were incomplete and skipped seriously necessary basic steps. . Zero attention to detail. Was pressured to choose colors other than ones I preferred. Had the staff recommend ways to melt body fat. So inappropriate. My friends nails had the entire gels just fall off by the next day. Mine were chipping on three toes. My toes were a hot mess-a kindergarten student could have painted with more attention. Almost the three hundred dollars for a completely bogus experience. I do not recommend. I tried bringing concerns to owners who just didnt seem to care. They offered to fix mine and that got me back in for just another awful job where I left with smeared nails they fixed. A place you wouldnt want your grandmother to go alone.

I just had a pedicure done here, it was a wonderful experience! Everything was sanitary. My tech took her time on my feet, and every time I thought she was done with the massage she just went for more lotion and kept going. I have a bad back and this is the first pedicure chair Ive sat in that didnt hurt my back, they are very adjustable. People are super nice here and they have great prices. I highly recommend.

I’ve been going to French nails regularly for my gel fills for a few months now and every experience I’ve had has been amazing. The staff is friendly, punctual and knowledgeable. Tim is especially talented. My nails always look beautiful and unique. I’ve shown him a lot of pictures in the past and he always delivers a fantastic recreation. It has taken years, but I’ve finally found a nail place in Eugene with amazing staff, good environment, and reasonable prices. Highly recommend to all

First time going, on my birthday too, and the guy I got, Brandon, seemed like he was rushing and I finally figured out why. It was because he wanted to go to lunch. All I got was a simple French tip and my entire nail has a pink hue to it, including the white tip. I’ve got tiny bubbles and one nail looks like it’s starting to lift. Another isn’t even on straight. Not happy AT ALL

Good service. The only reason why the 4 star is I had gotten a gel polish pedicure and the polish chipped and pealed off after a week. The other place I go to will last a month.

I like how sanitary they are. The tubs are lined with a new liner for each client and the filters they use are changed and sanitized between clients. The atmosphere is nice and so are the people. They also offer a complimentary drink to each client.

I broke my nail yesterday, I went in this morning and they fixed it right away no charge. Even with the design. I love that they are so kind and willing to try to create any design you bring to them. They never get upset if you ask them to fix the way a nail looks or if your not happy with your look. I enjoy French Nails, they make me feel welcomed and valued!

My experience felt rushed from the moment I walked in the door. The technician was friendly, but when it came time for my nails to dry, she gave me 3 minutes to hold my hands in front of a fan before ushering me to the front to pay. I had smudged my nails not even 30 minutes after receiving the manicure because I wasn’t given enough time to let them dry. Additionally, the color selection was lacking, and I noticed that my manicure was a little sloppy (paint on my actual fingers, cuticles).I wouldn’t recommend this place for a basic manicure.
