Going on my second year of living here and am so happy I ended up in this place! I come from out of state and was always worried about safety. I love the system the flats has! The management team is extremely helpful and are always on top of getting things done quickly! There’s always tons of fun activities and cool amenities!! Absolutely would recommend to anyone looking for housing!

I would not recommend living here.1) I attempted to move into this apartment complex and was moving into the pictures listed below. Considering they are able to go into your apartment whenever they want without any notice, you would think they would inspect the place before anyone would move in.2) They enter your apartment when they please. This was brought up to management after maintenance entered my apartment and belongings were moved without any written or verbal warning. They stated that because it’s “student housing” they are allowed to enter whenever they want. Be cautious of who you are renting from, I would NOT recommend Horizon Realty.

Absolutely horrible management. Not suitable for Univ of Oregon students or student athletes who do not have parents able to intervene and advocate for them. Expect to lose your security deposit. Expect neglect from management. My son complained about the conditions in his apartment. It was a multi-room apartment and my son was matched with another tenant. He reported smoking (cigarette and other) in the apartment and asked to be moved. There were clearly other choices but the management insisted that he pay more to move. He stuck it out and was charged for damage from cigarette smoking. They added more people to the room without providing any notice to him whatsoever. Imagine coming home to find someone living in your apartment. Ridiculous!

This property truly gives you a great student living experience. I felt safe, comfortable, and felt like everyone got along pretty well . The staff was extremely nice and helpful whenever I needed them and they are very good at roommate matching, and making sure that you feel at home by putting out snacks and stuff like that. Everything is clean and well kept. If I wasn’t moving away I would be staying for another year no doubt. I loved that they let me hang stuff up on the walls too and weren’t picky about how my living area was kept. If I come back to oregon I will definitely be living here again and I’d recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a great living experience.

I’ve lived here for about 8 months, the staff is good and they take care of you. It’s a fun complex to live in if you’re college age and like to meet new people. Everyone is welcoming and almost always says hi. Shayla, Sharista, Kylee, and John are always wanting to help anyway they can. I live in a 2 bedroom and the only things we have to share is the kitchen and living room areas. I have my own bathroom and room with locks on both for privacy.

First time moving in & they were dishonest about their promo deal. When I confronted them, they continued to lie. Theyve proven to be unorganized and not credible in my 9 months of living here. If I can give you any piece of advice, please take your money elsewhere. The Flats at Chase has corrupt management who is looking to take your money, even with the smallest of violations. Management does not care about you, they care about getting every penny of what they can out of you. Stay blessed.

Moved into a dirty apartment, and the roommate matching could not have been more wrong with its placement. I already regret signing a lease here. I would give zero (0) stars if I could. This place is not exactly student housing if non-students live in this apartment community.

This is my first Google review.I was really excited about living here at first(first impressions easily 4 stars).I really wanted to share my thoughts on my year experience here but unfortunately it keeps getting blocked. I do share some of the same thoughts as the two 1-star reviews that managed to show up though.

This place has what you want & I really like it here. Austin: a security man who’s also a D&D game master. He has an assuring, clever, even paternal air about him. High ceilings and a clean, modern look. The staff are above kind and have helped me feel comfortable being away from campus. If you get a chance at room 317, take it. There’s also thousands of young people living around you which constantly allows opportunities for new friendships.Decent.

Not sure what that guy is talking about with homeless or the staff. All of the staff is extremely kind and personable. I honestly can’t think of anything bad to say about them or the facilities. Speaking of the facilities, they are very well kept, constantly cleaned, and very modern. The complex also has security services outside of business hours, keeping the complex safe and parking lot secure. Thanks guys!

We moved in very optimistic, and was greeted with fun tie dye activities and food trucks as well as community bonding activities. It all started so promisingly, but it was all a deception. We as a community, have been promised free complimentary breakfast everyday as advertised online, and have maybe gotten 5 cold McDonalds sausage McMuffins, and the VERY occasional waffles that were FlAvOrLeSs. It feels like everything in our place is always broken and service to fix such items is poor, I do have to say front desk staff is nice, but also very inattentive. The FLATS also advertises a SpA, and let me tell you its cold as ballz. BRRRRRRRR!!!!! It feels as if teens run this place, so many promises with so much potential, but also none at the same time. The Flats at Chase is advertised as college living but yet there is a-lot of older couples that live in this building, that dont appreciate this lyfestyle. I Cant even listen to the occasional Kelly Clarkson without fear of a noice complaint. I also live in fear as I fall asleep to the sound of gun shots and sirens from the local police, just to wake up to notifications that a near by neighbor has been stabbed. Overall wish the flats had done better, but they didnt.

2 words to describe this establishment: irresponsible and ignorant1. The management is not responsive to resident emails and in order to get in contact with them, knock on their door to get any complaint or concern in their guise because even if countless emails are sent, the situation will not improve and you will not get a response unless you’re a new potential resident looking to sign a lease.2. The staff, especially the front desk, are unmasked most of the time and do not keep in 6 feet proximity when talking with residents even before COVID-19 vaccines were distributed to the public. Management puts signs everywhere and on the desk that the staff sits at to Wear Masks in Common Areas, but they, themselves, do not follow the rules that they make and put their residents in danger for the virus for continuously interacting with others in the building without them.3. Security guards are hired by the entire group of apartments that is on Kinsrow Avenue, so there is not security constantly around the building at night or sat at the front desk, the only other option is to leave a voice message over the phone if neighbors are being loud, potential dangers, etc. These issues are typically not resolved by at all.4. There has been only one attempt from management to tell residents to quiet down, because of many who were being extremely loud multiple times during dead weeks of the terms and throughout the school year way into 3 to 4 AM, causing noise disturbances for other residents who are students. Besides this, although sending in evidence to management, nothing else was done.5. The entryway to the floors of the building from the parking lot is dirty, constantly trashed, and is not cleaned frequently, therefore give off a terrible smell when walking in.In general, avoid this apartment building unless you would like your lease agreement to not be upheld by the management and live at a place where it is advertised as student living, but does not offer the environment or means to maintain that.

WE LOVE IT HERE! The staff is the best. Me and my roommates literally say every day that we want to resign next year because we love it so much. I would give it 10/5 stars if I could.

A great place to call home. Clean lines, high ceilings, and mostly white/gray color scheme means you can make your place look any way you want, but you do have to do the work to make it feel like home. Fun way to spend time with your roommates—I recommend thrifting for decorations! Everything works like it should and the shower heads are nice. The folks who work here are super friendly and genuine, and have helped give the flats a comfortable, warm vibe.

Helpful and friendly staff make the place feel welcome. My 3x3 apartment is spacious and the amenities are all in great shape. Kitchen has a ton of storage and counter space as well. Workout area has everything I need and the complex as a whole feels modern and cohesive.

My roommates and I absolutely LOVE living here! Kylee, Shayla, and James are the best staff members anyone could ask for. In the month that I have lived here, it already has started to feel like home. The residents here that we have met are all so nice and the amenities are amazing. Sharice is also an amazing staff member, and everyone here is super welcoming. If youre looking for a place to live, this is the best.

Can’t say anything about the quality of the units (I’m sure they’re great), but 5 star customer service! Everyone has been very friendly and prompt, and they were very understanding when I had to unfortunately cancel my lease. Looking forward to live at The Flats when I move back out to Eugene!

I came here to visit and it is literally so amazing!!! Would recommend to anyone looking for an apartment in Eugene. The rooms and amenities are amazing and the staff is literally the best
