Currently living at the Sonja and any normal apartment problems that come up like maintenance or payment issues have been resolved quickly by the office staff! The property is pretty and gets a bunch of sunlight, the study rooms (pictured) are my favorite, so happy I get to stay here again this year! :)
The element communities are super great, especially for college students! I leased my first apartment with them and it was amazing! The apartments themselves are great, and so are the staff that work to make sure their residents are enjoying their stay with tons of giveaways and gifts all year round! Love this place.
Honestly an awesome staff! I stopped in for a property tour and they helped me right away. Got to see the Pearl apts and I’m honestly so so excited to move there!
So I wasnt able to be there in person to tour but I got a zoom tour the same day I called! All my questions were answered and the place looks so cute! The pearl is for foodies? thats so me!!
Definitely going to miss the short walk to campus and sunset views from the Anthony ✨
The Sonja is a very nice and secure building. Common places are kept clean. They have a lot of give-away events that are easy to enter. The location is very good if you are looking for a place very close to campus. The amenities tend to be expensive especially when the gym and other common spaces are closed due to the pandemic.
Very friendly staff, community is great with all surrounding things. Close to campus and everything you need!
Great community have lived here at The Anthony since 2017 never had any issues. Any maintenance requests are dealt with quickly and professionally. Wifi is included as well as the Element Communities convenient location within a 15 minute walking distance of campus. Neighborhood is peaceful and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!
This place is so great! I love my apartment and the staff! So close to campus too!
I’m just leaving a review for your lovely staff member Haley! She was very helpful today during my virtual guided tour of some Element units. She was extremely competent and knowledgeable about all my questions (most of which she answered before I even got the chance to ask them, which was great!), and had great tips and insights about specific units. She had also taken her own video walkthroughs of the units I was interested in, which was very helpful. Thanks Haley!!
I love this apartment and the staff! The rooms are big and the living area is super spacious. Along with that, the staff is really attentive to the tenants and are always willing to help us. I am so glad I picked this place. Also, GREAT location
I love it here!! The leasing agents were super helpful and very understanding!! I like living here more than my childhood home!
Great place for students! Close to campus and friendly atmosphere, highly recommend.
I have been living in Westgate for two years now and I honestly love it here. We have only had a few problems with the place ( appliance wise ) but have gotten help from maintenance crew in pretty fast time and they have always been very nice and communicative with us. I love the space and it’s fun to make you’re own. The location is also amazing and is hard to beat!
I have really enjoyed living in the Sonja Apartments this year. The units are the perfect size and the staff are super helpful whenever an issue arises. We have only had a few problems with appliances and outdated lights/furniture that was provided by the Element Communities. Other than that, it has been an awesome experience.
Great location and amazing staffs!
My experience living here has been pretty good, the office is very good at working with residents and the common areas are kept clean. Its a bit expensive though.
Rooms and living spaces are great size. Price is good for areas but utilities are more spendy than expected. The Anthony also includes large tvs which is nice. Roommate matching is awesome too! Overall good experience
Currently at the Pearl location. Great living spaces. Staff that cares. Helpful maintenance workers. All around, a great place in Eugene for any student to live in. Proximity to campus is a nice stroll and food and groceries are all within a block. Ideal college student location.
I lived at the Sonja my junior year of college in a 3 bedroom living space. I loved the space. When I first arrived my room was nice and clean. The team at Element Communities made moving in a stress free experience as they were very helpful and friendly. Whenever I had questions, they were always very willing to answer them with a positive attitude and making sure to answer any additional questions or concerns. I had a similar experience when moving out. The team was very helpful and friendly with helping me move out the easiest possible. Element communities also connected me to 2 amazing roomates who I didnt know, but were very mindful and welcoming when I moved in with them. I appreciate all the work element communities give and their kindness. Finding a place to live, paying rent, moving in and out can be a stressful time but their team played a huge role in me feeling calm and welcomed. Additionally they provide great opportunities for their residents to win prizes and have additional perks like snacks and pick me ups during the year which is always a plus! Thank you Element Communities!
Great company, cares about their tenants, and goes out of there way to make sure you’re comfortable. Was also very gracious when having issues with my payment methods.
Im living at the Anthony, and since moving in last year, its pretty much been very comfortable, the staff are helpful and quick if any problem came up, and the amenities already installed in the apartment is nice to have.
Element Communities should be your go-to when looking for housing in Eugene! My stay there was nothing but amazing. I had the privilege to stay at The Pearl. The location was perfect and quiet. It was across the street from Safeway, Yoga, and other food places to grab a quick bite. In addition, the walk to the University of Oregon was about a 20 min walk. A key takeaway from Element Communities will be the friendly staff! Kayla is one of many that have shown exceptional customer service. Maintenance was always on top of my calls and the property was well-kept. Would highly recommend staying with Element Communities!
Great place to live right next to campus. Staff are easily available and nice!
Really close to campus, lots of natural light in the living areas, and everything functions quite well.
I just moved into the Pearl earlier this year and they were quick and happy to accommodate my needs!
I live at the Westgate with one other roommate. Its a decent apartment that functions well besides some maintenence hiccups; maintenence is always responsive and helpful if anything is wrong, so its not too much of an issue when something breaks. Also the apartment people are really good communicators if you have any questions or problems. Rent is kinda expensive tho :/
I’ve been living in Westgate the past two years and I love the location. The apartments are very nice and are fun to furnish and make them your own.
The maintenance and upkeep of the building is pretty good. Staff are all very nice and responsive. Signed my lease pre-Covid and they have not been very accommodating for me to want to leave the lease due to the circumstances. I lived in the Sojna and they do not tell you that your apartment will not have any natural daylight as it faces a building and the interior of the complex and is shaded by the walkways.
I love living at the Pearl! It has be a great, and welcoming experience. Compared to the first apartment I lived in, in Eugene, The Pearl is perfect.
The community manager Ben is extremely rude. He has a strong attitude when talking to people. I’m not sure why is he bringing such an attitude into professional work. He also doesn’t care about the tenants’ situation at all. Terrible leasing manager I’ve ever talked to. However, the rest of the staff are very friendly and communicative. Big kudos to them.
Absolutely loving my new apartment at the Westgate. The rooms are very spacious and located right near the University. I originally had a bad roommate pairing and my parents were freaking out about it. But, my family and I were very happy that Kayla helped us find a different spot in the Westgate and i couldnt be much happier. She was very calm and informative about the situation which made the move less stressful. Highly recommend this place!
Element Communities has been the most professional property management complex. Their staff is very involved and whenever you have a questions or concern they are very good about updating you and giving you a call back about a possible solution. I really enjoy Element because the resident events are always a nice treat! If i am not mistaken, Kayla is the person who runs the events and their giveaways. I feel that she does an amazing job of bringing out the residents and making them feel welcomed in the community. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND LIVING HERE!
Element Communities, has honestly been the best apartment complex! Every year, I constantly jumped from apartment to apartment and I am so happy I had such a wonderful experience here! From their resident events to customer service to their maintenance team to how they handle relets. This team is phenomenal and extremely professional I would highly recommend this place to any who is looking for affordable housing near the University of Oregon. Applying to live at Element was such a breeze. They work closely with you and your guarantor and are very responsive through phone and text and they mention all fees upfront, so your no getting a surprise bill like some other apartments!
This apartment is a sham. Like most other apartments youll find in Eugene, it is extremely overpriced and only offers empty promises. When I first moved in, my entire apartment was filthy. I had been waiting months to get into this new place, and it still had trash and furniture leftover from the previous tenant. When I moved, I had made the entire apartment look better than it did when I arrived. Still, after more than four weeks, this place has still not given me my deposit back. I received a confirmation email last week showing how much Id be getting back but the check still has not come.Management tries to get everyone to like the apartment office by spending $50 every once in a while and giving away Chipotle or pizza, but it fails to achieve the most basic forms of apartment management.During my time at this mismanaged trash fire, I have:-Had my locked bike had been stolen out of the apartments LOCKED bike room-Had my CAR broken into because it took this place weeks to fix a broken garage door and several other doors in the building-Had multiple fix-it requests that were never addressedOverall, this place isnt much worse than the other soulless apartment complexes that infest this town. If you end up living here, just make sure that you dont give this place an inch or they will walk all over you and never do their job correctly.
I normally dont like to leave reviews but, I recently had exceptional customer service by one of there employees! Kayla, was so kind, knowledgable, and professional. My son will be a sophomore in September so this was new to the both of us. We didnt know exactly what to ask and what should be expected in any apartment. She basically gave us the run down of all the information. She mentioned all details about the cost asked what our preference were, she even offered to jump on a zoom call to just talk face to face! Which was amazing because it felt like a real interaction than just a phone call. Kayla followed up with us after the phone call with an email with the virtual tour and dimensions of the unit. For a place that doesnt have a model unit. She surely went the extra mile to take care of my son and I. I am very grateful for this experience and my son will be leasing here! :)
Close to campus and really nice apartments. Location is key and they offer quite a few things to reach out to student to make sure they are enjoying their stay.
I currently live at the Pearl and it has been a great experience! I live in a studio apartment and it is the perfect size for a college student who is just starting out on their own. It is pretty modern and has a very cozy feel. Everyone at the office is super friendly and willing to help. I really like how they offer catered meals on some nights, its very convenient for nights I dont know what to make for dinner! Definitely recommend checking it out!
Im currently living at the Anthony, the staff are quick to respond and solve any problems that arose, and the individual bedrooms are large and comfortable. Location is only a block off of campus, so its only a 10-15 walk to classes.
Cozy living space with great amenities and a really amazing staff at the leasing office!
I just had an amazing tour of the Pearl property. the leasing girl who showed me a 1 bedroom was wonderful and answered ALL my questions. The common room on the first floor is perfect for a packed movie night and the unit I checked out is way bigger than I expected! If I can get a parking space, Ill sign a lease today!
The best customer service of any property management company that Ive worked with here in OR. Although I didnt rent from them, their follow up response(s) stood out to me a lot. Thank you!
Wonderful experience!! I am going to live with Element Communities for my 3rd year now, and I have loved every minute of it. Everyone in the office is so friendly and courteous! I also enjoy all of the resident events. There are always events or giveaways each month that make living here so much more eventful :)
Element Communities has been the most professional & well organized staff. From going on the first tour to signing a lease, there team has worked closely with me and has been truly helpful in answering any questions I had. I would definitely recommend the apartment complex!! :)
Lived here the last two years and currently on my third year. Great place and friendly staff
I just moved in and I absolutely love my apartment! The office staff is so wonderful & helpful. This is my first apartment by myself, and Element Communities was very organized and ready for me at move in! I though it was very generous how they took time to prepare all the move in folders and create small move in gifts! I definitely would recommend there property!
Living at the Anthony has been a wonderful experience. The complex is very new and beautiful. In the beginning of the year, I was having issues with my sink draining, so I put in a maintenance request and they fixed it in less than 8 hours. The Element community has been so welcome, providing us with gift baskets on move in day, and more free goodies like Panda and Taco Bell throughout the year. I’m so happy here, I will recommend it to friends and plan to live here next year too!!
They call my apartment “The Pearl” for a reason (other than the fact that it is on Pearl street); An apartment complex this good is as rare as a pearl, and equally as shiny as valuable. I love my room and my balcony, and the staff in the leasing office are especially helpful and friendly.I also get lots of free goodies like bubble tea (every week), pizza, and more. The rent is pretty high though. You pay for what you get, and I get quality!
As a pizza delivery driver, please add directional signage in your corridors. It takes forever to find the elevator and then even longer to find an apartment.
Ive lived at The Sonja for the last two years and Ive already signed up my lease from the third. This was my first time living on my own and I couldnt be happier with my selection of apartment. In my one-bedroom apartment, theres still enough space for all my stuff I brought with me from home and its very easy to get chores done with the high-powered dishwasher and an in-unit laundry and dryer. Everything is very convenient and Element is also very timely with responding to any concerns that you may have. Genuinely love it here and would recommend!
(Westgate) Great space, perfect location and plenty of opportunities!
I have loved living at The Sonja this year. The apartment complex is very nice and the leasing office is very helpful if you have any questions. I would definitely recommend element communities.
LOVE IT HERE! One of the office girls, Kayla, is super helpful! She reached out to me and helped me find the perfect apartment (Westgate) to rent. Could not have found a better home without her! I would 10/5 stars if I could!
Great workers who are all there to help whenever I needed it. I would be able to get service for any issues I had in the apartment within 48 hours. They also did a great job of making sure all the properties were up to date and clean.
Element has a great team who will help you solve any issues or concerns. They know your face and names and try to create a neighborly environment at each of their locations! Maintenance is also very responsive and effective.
Amazing staff and ideal living environment overall. I truly enjoy my stay at the Pearl- it has everything you need! I definitely would recommend Element Communities for college living.
I live at the Westgate and I love it! It is so close to campus and surrounded by great food! The leasing office is very active and always doing give aways for the residents. I recommend for anyone and students who want to live off campus!
I love living in the Pearl building! Its an easy walking distance from shopping, food and campus. The staff is wonderful and combined with the safety of the building, has made me feel very confident with my choice to live here! I would definitely recommend touring, and living here!
We love living at the Pearl location. Very centrally located to school and downtown-- living next to Safeway is the best! Office staff is very helpful and always willing to answer questions, and maintenance fixes issues very fast and they are always very kind!
It was a great experience! The people were so nice and helpful. The tour was very well done and I cant wait to sign my lease.
I had a great tour! The pearls theater room looks really fun and the special for signing a lease is so tempting! The marketing team are great and the leasing people are so helpful!!
This place is top notch. I love the staff here. They are kind, helpful, and just all around great people. Most of my experience has been with Mayan and he has helped me out a ton! Hes always there when I have a question or need something from the staff. I appreciate the hard work. You guys rock!
Fantastic!!!!!!! I couldnt apply fast enough! I looked at all four properties and with the help of the leasing agents I picked the best complex: the Pearl! So close to Safeway and the on-site gym is my favorite amenity!
I have been living at the Sonja this term so far and I have really enjoyed it! All the staff has been extraordinarily proactive in any questions or needs that I have had. The in-unit washer and dryer as been super convenient since I dont have to worry about anyone stealing my clothing, and all of the appliances are up to date. And the best part, there is extremely fast wifi that comes along with rent, I believe it was at 50mb/s when I checked last. The walk to my classes is no more than 15 minutes which takes a ton of stress off parking.
I live at the Anthony and love the apartment complex and location! The layout is very nice. The Element communities office is super generous, helpful, and understanding, too! Monica always answers when I call and has always been super helpful!!!
Element Communities has a bunch of different great locations that fit whatever youre looking for. Theres often cool give-aways and events for the residents. The properties are clean and have recently been getting renovated to look even nicer!
The Pearl is in a great location, nice apartments and secure parking. Been here 2 and half years. Could improve cleanliness of hallways and especially the garbage chute room. Would recommend.
Honestly, I dont usually leave reviews but I loved living at the Westgate so much and Im so sad I had to move (I left for grad school). The location is close to campus and restaurants and the rooms are huge! I recommend living here for anyone who wants a great apartment in the best part of Eugene xoxo.
I have lived at the Sonja property for the past three years and have been very happy with the experience. The units are modern and clean with large bedrooms, and the appliances all work well. My roommates and I have never had any significant problems. Our water heater broke at one point and maintenance worked immediately to get it fixed. The staff are friendly as well. I do wish that the gym at our complex had more equipment. There are not many options in there. I have been very happy with living at the Sonja and appreciate the short walk to class!
Thank you for taking our call and allowing us to send Student Special flyers to you. We are a Downtown business since 1938 and look forward to working with your residents. Brenners Furniture
I really love living here because the atmosphere is great and the apartments are perfect! The maintenance guys come really quick and we have never had a problem not getting something fixed!
Currently living in the Pearl. The size of the apartment accommodates all my needs. It’s also conveniently located near a Safeway to buy groceries and restaurants where I can buy other food. Definitely satisfied during my time here.
Really really professional and kind, helped me through the entire process one on one and helped me sub lease when I didn’t know if I had anyone. It was a pleaser working w them I definitely recommend renting from them
Excellent staff! The buildings are clean and the maintenance staff was quick to help. Moving in was easy and the locations are great!
Really great place to live! The space you get for your money is amazing compared to other apartments :)
I normally dont leave reviews but, I thought it was necessary to share my experience with Element Communities! I couldnt be happier signing at the Westgate! Kayla did a fabulous job of selling this property to us! She was very professional, informative, and very relatable. I highly recommend taking a tour with her! Upon choosing the Westgate me and my roommate where happy with the location and how spacious the floor plans where! The Westgate is pricy but definitely worth it. We have heard nothing but good things about the resident events! :)
The location is perfect. Living close to Safeway is super convenient for groceries, and there is even a Starbucks right down the block. Not having to leave the building to go to the gym is also a huge plus!
The people who work at the office are so sweet and our apartment is such an easy walk to campus!
The location for the Westgate is so perfect because everything is around it including urgent care which might come in handy! I just signed so I haven’t experienced living there but just with the tour I was given, I felt a good vibe. The building didn’t seem noisy at all and they seem to do lots of resident events! I’m so excited to live here this upcoming fall!
Really close to campus, love the location but I didn’t have the greatest experience this summer. Me and my roommate got a random third roommate for Spring term 2019. She had a dog, which was not trained, badly behaved and peed every time it came into the house. This made it so the carpets in our apartment, mostly the front entry had a large amount of per urine all over them. We requested the carpets get professionally cleaned after we move out because i renewed my lease there (which i feel is a normal request for this situation) and they apparently never cleaned them. We used our own water powered carpet cleaner and what was collected (along with the dog urine) was dark brown liquid. Looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in a very long time. Safety hazard, and seriously just gross.
Most of the Campustown properties are just steps away from campus, and the complex I live in has a gym on its second floor, which is nice! Free drinks and snacks are always provided by the staff, which consists of helpful and friendly assistants, and the apartments are in great condition. Rent plus parking is also pretty affordable for being so close to campus and I renewed my lease for another school year. Cant wait for more time in my apartment with such a wonderful staff!
Living here is awesome! It’s not too far from campus, there’s always events happening, and the leading office is super helpful and hands on.
Its actually pretty good here. The employees are helpful, the noise is minimal, and the apartment is in pretty good condition. There are also a lot of resources available here. I was surprised how nice these apartments were for the price.
The property is absolutely amazing, friendly workers in the office absolutely loved it!
This place rocks! Close to everything! Love living here. The team here is always helpful when I need it most!
I had a great experience living at campus town apartments! The staff is very helpful and the rooms are awesome! There were some confusions with room assignments when I first started living there which was frustrating, but once that ordeal got sorted out. Would definitely recommend campus town acts to a friend... you cant beat the amenities and living near campus.
Close to campus as well as grocery stores. They hold events for their residents. They also are quick to resolve any minor concerns my roommate and I have had since living here.
I love the varied locations of their properties, theyre super convenient for UO students. They have something for everyone!
Great management team that always goes above and beyond for their residents!
Awesome views, super clean, and work orders are tended to immediately! All appliances are updated and apartments look really modern inside.
I called inquiring about these properties and Annabelle was so friendly and helpful in answering all of my questions. Love their floorplans and location!
Beautiful properties with great locations & well maintained. Highly recommend.
Though the maintenance staff is fantastic, I had a frusting experience with Campustown. The staff was very disorganized. They were always pleasant, but it took months before I got internet set up in my apartment, even though I was paying for it. Additionally, they placed me with 2 undergraduates after I had been sold on The Pearl because I was told I would room with a graduate student like me. Furthermore, the no smoking rule isnt enforced well. I have asthma, and I was often uncomfortable due to the number of other residents who smoked on their balconies right by my room. The last thing Ill mention is that during my last few weeks of grad school, the hallway air conditioning broke. It took them weeks to fix it while I was living in a 90 degree apartment. Im not exaggerating. Overall, I had a frustrating experience with Campustown. Proceed with caution.
Really wonderful staff to work with and really welcoming environment!
Close to campus, close to everything
The office staff was friendly and nice. Mad respect.
Great building. Helpful and friendly staff. Plus free stuff, swag.
Lived there 2 years and was less than mediocre. First week our apartment on the first floor had an attempted break in and they just said it was probably someone drunk or on drugs and nothing to worry about. They said theyd upgrade the gym - never did. Online payment website got screwed up after management change and they did nothing to fix it. Hallways had freezing cold AC but the units themselves did not (despite still paying for our own electric). Took them days to respond to emails. For tenants who lived there 2 years and only complained the one time (attempted break-in), they treated us very poorly up until we moved out.
Lived at the pearl. They routinely lose rent checks, and if they cant find them u have to pay again.I moved out recently and have been trying to collect my security deposit for 2 months. I call a few times each week only to get the run around. If u care about ur money live elsewhere
